Via HuffPo reports: HuffPost Celebrity can report that filmmaker George Lucas and his girlfriend of seven years, businesswoman Mellody Hobson, are engaged. The famed director, 68, and his longtime partner and president of a big-time Chicago-based investment management firm, Ariel Investments LLC, 43, are no strangers to showcasing their relationship in the spotlight. The pair are often spotted hand-in-hand on the red carpet, everywhere from the Cannes Film Festival to Formula One Grand Prix races to the NAACP awards. This will be the second marriage for the “Star Wars” writer-director — he was previously married to Marcia Lucas (1969–1983) — and the first marriage for Hobson, who helms the $3 billion investment firm and is a regular financial contributor to “Good Morning America.” Lucas recently made headlines after donating $4 billion to an education foundation — the amount he received after selling Lucasfilm Ltd. (which Lucas solely owned) to Disney. “For 41 years, the majority of my time and money has been put into the company,” Lucas said of his donation. “As I start a new chapter in my life, it is gratifying that I have the opportunity to devote more time and resources to philanthropy.” George Lucas is a very lucky man. Somebody has been watching too much “Twilight.” Megan Fox recently revealed that during her first trimester she feared she might give birth to a monster. Via US Weekly reports : The last time Megan Fox appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in February, the 26-year-old actress was hiding a small baby bump. “I was about two months pregnant. I was really sick,” the star of This Is 40 said when she returned for the Dec. 17 episode of the NBC talk show. “I was very nauseous. I had really bad morning sickness.” Fox continued, “It was so bad for me. . . I was convinced that I was, like, maybe birthing a vampire baby like the one in Twilight — you know what happens to Bella, where she’s in cold sweats all the time — and I felt like that was happening because I had no vitamins and nutrients and I was just nauseous.” “Something not human was happening!” she added. Luckily, Brian Austin Green’s wife of two-and-a-half years didn’t suffer for long. “The first trimester was really rough and then I got to about 12 weeks and then it was fine,” the actress said. “It was really a perfect pregnancy after that.” Fox — already stepmom to Green’s son Kassius, 10, from his previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil — also opened up about giving birth Sept. 27 at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. (Coincidentally, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth welcomed a son, Tennessee, at the same hospital that same day.) “I thought I was going to be tough and the nurses would be like, ‘She’s a warrior princess! She doesn’t need an epidural! She’s amazing! We’re such big fans!’” Fox admitted. “As soon as I got out of the car I was already crying for an epidural. Here’s a lil’ positivity for the evening. Charles Tillman and his wifey Jackie are getting ready to have their fourth child in a couple of weeks. Tillman tweeted, “God, family, football. Baby is coming Monday. Don’t worry, I’ll be there Sunday.” He repeated the sentiment over on ESPN’s Sports Center in an interview earlier this week as well. Charles had let his teammates know that he may not be playing in the game this coming Sunday and he confirmed he was hesitant to play; “This game is important to me, but after what we went through with my middle child Tiana, to me football is second … It’ll always be second or third in my life. That was a great lesson learned, to teach me that family — when I’m done playing football — my family will always be there for me”. So whatever excuse you had for not voting today looks pretty bad right now! Driving her own dayum self to the hospital, Galicia Malone was determined to make sure she voted for the first time…even if her contractions were only FIVE minutes apart! According to Yahoo : Galicia Malone’s contractions were five minutes apart when she arrived at her polling place in Cook County, Illinois, this morning, but that didn’t stop her from studying the ballot carefully and making sure her vote counted. “I was just trying to read and breathe, read and breathe,” the 21-year-old mom-to-be told WBBM Newsradio. “That’s what I kept telling myself, ‘Read and breathe, read and breathe’.” Pregnant with her first child, Malone went into labor four days early. Her water had already broken when she arrived at the aptly named New Life Celebration Church near Chicago around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. But even hard labor wasn’t enough to stop her from voting in her first presidential election. “I never voted before so this made a major difference in my life,” she told WBBM Newsradio. “And I wanted this to be a stepping-stone for my daughter.” She went into labor around 3 a.m., she said, but refused to go to the hospital until after the polls opened. As she left her polling place, she was holding her lower back and smiling widely. She drove herself to South Suburban Hospital. “The pains are pretty steady, but my doctor says to think of it as getting ready to give life,” she told My Fox Chicago. “This is my first baby, a girl, and I wanted to make a good impression. I want to have a story to tell her.” Malone, who lives in the Chicago suburb of Dalton, said that even though she is against abortion, she believes that women have the right to make their own health-related decisions, so she cast her vote this morning for President Barack Obama. “I just agree with more of his policies than with Romney’s,” she said. “I grew up on Sesame Street and PBS,” she added. “He wants to cut that.
