Fans will pick which album band will play all the way through during tour stops, beginning on September 4. That’s because they’re letting fans vote to select which of their albums they’ll perform on each night of the 2011 Musical Ride Tour. The tour, which kicks off in September, follows the formula the guys tried out during their 5of5 concert series in New York and London, where they would set up shop at a venue for five nights in a row and play an album all the way through each night. “Much like the 5of5 concert series both in New York and London, which blew us away, this whole tour is about looking back in order to go forward,” Taylor Hanson explained in a statement. The band’s debut album, Middle of Nowhere, launched the guys to pop superstardom back in 1997 thanks to the hit track “MMMBop.” Since then, they have consistently released albums, including 2010’s Shout It Out, which spawned the viral hit “Thinking ‘Bout Something,” as well as the follow-up single, “Give a Little.” Earlier this year, Hanson put their live performance skills to the test when they put on a 12-hour, live-streamed concert at South By Southwest to raise money for earthquake victims in Japan. After previously announced shows in Los Angeles and Saskatchewan, Canada, the band will kick off the 40-city U.S. tour on September 4 in Seattle. It all wraps up on November 1 in Orlando. All dates are available on , and tickets go on sale this Friday. “This tour is a unique way of saying thank you to the many fans that have followed the band for years, who will, for the first time, get a chance to help shape the show they see each night,” Zac Hanson added of the trek. Recently, the guys appeared in Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” video as the house band at the raging house party thrown by Rebecca Black. “We work for Twizzlers and good times,” Taylor told MTV News about their fee for appearing in the video. “You’d have to have a lot of spandex, a huge tree covered in toilet paper, Kenny G — apparently that’s what it takes to get us to a house party.” Related Artists Hanson

For the first time since he caused an uproar in Nashville, and then proceeded to make a round of apologies and appearances , Tracy Morgan took to the stage on Saturday night for a stand-up routine. He appeared on stage at Caroline’s in NYC and immediately told the audience he was gonna be “mellow.” But that’s far from the style that has made the 30 Rock star famous, of course, as went on deliver jokes about masturbation, ejaculation, the female anatomy and other topics that had the crowd in stitches. About 45 minutes in, Morgan said: “You’re all sitting here waiting for me say something about the controversy, right? I’m 42, man, and now all of a sudden I’m homophobic?” He then joked: “My father was the lead singer in the Village People. I would sing the ‘Y.M.C.A.’ the loudest. I was sitting right there when he wrote the song.” Morgan shied away from any overt references to homosexuality, but he did re-tell a different joke to which Kevin Rodgers – the Facebook poster who originally called attention to the comedian’s rant earlier this month, and who hugged it out with Tracy during a recent press confrence – objected a few weeks ago. Regarding the joy of making women choke during oral sex, he riffed: “You gotta make that mascara run.” Witnesses say Morgan was mostly himself during the set – still unpredictable, still raunchy – and concluded the routine with the following message: “Gay, straight… I don’t care. Despite reports of their imminent replacement at the end of the next season’s filming, the Jersey Shore cast is not going anywhere just yet. “I think we’re irreplaceable,” Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio said Friday. At an appearance at the Palms in Vegas, he adds, “I don’t think they could replace us. They’d just be people trying to be like us, anyway.” On Friday, MTV denied the reports, with a spokesman they have “no plans to recast the show,” which recently finished filming Season 4 in Italy. “It’s more of the guys getting into the drama,” Pauly said of the gang’s adventures in the old country. “We’re used to it with the girls, but this season it’s a lot of the guys … I think it was as much drama as there was in Miami.” “Yeah, we got ourselves into some serious crap, but somehow we always end up OK. There was some serious stuff going on there.” Season 4 begins August 4. The filming of Jersey Shore Season 5 is underway in Jersey. Will there be another season beyond that? We all know that being liked by your boyfriend’s friends is a plus. What better security is there than knowing that his friends aren’t actively trying to change his mind about you? One of my friends is so used to being invited to her boyfriend’s “guys’ nights”. Whether it’s getting wings at the local dive bar or being rowdy and watching the game on someone’s couch, she’s always been a “guys’ girl”. The guy that she recently started dating, however, likes to separate his “guy time” and “girlfriend time”. BUT, this doesn’t mean that she needs to kick him to the curb and find a more romantic guy. We talked and tried to figure out what the right amount of “bro-mance” time versus “romance” time is. The first thing I did was explain to her the importance of “bro-mances” to men. Just because they’re spending time with their guys does not mean that they are going to break up with you. There’s no need to constantly call and text him asking about his plans. Having time to “bro out” can actually be extremely healthy for relationships. You have more to talk about, and let’s be real- you’d rather him be hanging out with his best guy friends than getting drinks with the new lady at work. But how much “bro-mance” is too much ? When he is choosing to play poker with the guys 5 days out of the week, it’s time to step in and ask for a little more “loving time”. If you can squeeze yourself into a game of black jack with him and the guys, that’s great! But don’t go dealing cards where they don’t belong. You don’t want to start showing up everywhere and have his guys get annoyed of you. When my friend showed up at one of the guys’ golf games, she felt completely out of place and definitely heard the snide comments: “uhh dude, what’s she doing here?” Most importantly, keep in mind what his “bro-mance” time can mean for you. Use this time to pamper yourself or plan a girls’ night out . Just because he wants to hang out with the guys on Friday night doesn’t mean that you need to stay in by yourself. The most healthy relationships have a balance between romantic time and friend time. What are your thoughts on “bro-mances”?
