Malia Obama, oldest daughter of the most powerful man in the world, has reportedly been working as a production assistant on the Los Angeles set of Halle Berry‘s sci-fi TV series “Extant” (produced by Steven Spielberg). According to The Wrap, the President’s eldest daughter “helped with computer shop alignments and the director also let her slate a take,” a set source told the website. The President and the First Lady visited their daughter in California over the weekend. Their youngest daughter, 13-year-old Sasha, didn’t make the trip. In a New Yorker profile earlier this year, Mr Obama outed Malia as an aspiring filmmaker, and a fan of HBO’s “Girls.” Obama insisted he and his wife were not “particularly conservative” and “not prudes” when it came to the entertainment they allow their teenage girls to view, but he said he did want them to have some boundaries. “Kids with structure have an easier time of it,” he said.
