Walmart Apologizes for "Fat Girl Costumes" Label on Website

Walmart is yet to apologize for these 37 ridiculous people who have frequented its aisles at some point in the recent past. But the global chain has come out and said it’s very sorry for offering Halloween costumes to “Fat Girls.” Earlier today, online customers were aghast to see the retailer labeled a section of its adult plus-size Halloween outfits as “Fat Girl Costumes.” An influx of negative responses turned “Fat Girl Costumes” into a trending topic on Twitter, with one user summing up everyone’s feelings thusly: “Walmart took it to another level today with their ‘fat girl costumes’ section on their website. Disappointed and flabbergasted.” In response to the controversy, a spokesperson for Walmart has issues the following statement: This never should have been on our site. It is unacceptable, and we apologize. We are working to remove it as soon as possible and ensure this never happens again.” The section of the website has since been revised to read “Women’s Plus-Size Halloween Costumes.” 17 Halloween Costumes Woman Have Somehow Made Skanky 1. Slutty Corn You’ll wanna take your time while picking these kernels from between your teeth! Last year, Target was also forced to apologize after it listed a plus-sized dress as available in manatee gray . Seriously, Webmasters, this stuff isn’t hard to not get to horribly and offensively wrong.

Ebola has come to the United States. Over the past several weeks, the disease has infected its first patients in America, with a nurse named Nina Pham recently contracting it it after treating another victim. But even though it’s deadly, and even though it’s very recently taken lives close to come, Ebola is very much in the news. And that means it’s ripe for Halloween! Ebola Halloween Costume: Actually for Sale! Yes, multiple costume shops are selling Ebola Hazmat Suits for October 31. Jonathan Weeks – chief executive of BrandsOnSale, which is selling an Ebola containment suit costume for $79.99 – tells the Associated Press that he doesn’t want to “stray away from anything that’s current or controversial” when offering options to his patrons. (Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, is reportedly terrified of Ebola and has ordered Hazmat suits for her entire family, unrelated to Halloween.) Wasco, California: Under Siege By Social Media Savvy Clowns!

The town of Wasco, California, has apparently been targeted by a mysterious clown. Or clowns. There appear to be several of them, lurking after dark. These clowns appear to be skilled at social media use, too. They’ve been popping up on Twitter and Instagram, sharing photos of themselves around town … Instagram and Twitter (bio: “IM [sic] THE REAL DEAL”) profiles imply that this is some sort of clown gang. One notes, “I’m not the only one out there.” The clown mostly seems like an elaborate Halloween prank, and residents are treating it as such. Some of them don’t appear to be laughing … but others are. “Some residents go in cars searching for him. They have flashlights and try to spot him in neighborhoods after he posts to Twitter,” Noah Sanchez said. At the same time, “It’s kind of fun, though, to get us in the Halloween spirit.” Some of their antics go beyond innocent Instagram photos, though. Lt. Jason Matson of Bakersfield did tell Tech Times that reports “range anywhere from a guy carrying a gun to a guy carrying a knife running up to houses.” Wasco, California Clowns A 14-year-old has been arrested and booked into juvenile hall for “harassing minors” while dressed up as a clown in town but so far, that’s the only arrest. The boy told police he was inspired by social media … a copycat clown. So who’s behind this spooky sight? How deep does the mystery go? Last September, a similar trend took place in the United Kingdom, where a series of bizarre run-ins with the Northampton Clown left local residents on edge. So maybe the events on both sides of the Atlantic are related? Not likely, but both made more than a few people ask: What’s that clown think he’s doing?! All we know is most of us have to watch American Horror Story online to experience something like this, but Wasco is living its own chapter every night. Ghost Caught on Camera at Hotel: Real or Fake?!

Halloween may have been yesterday, but that won’t stop us from sharing a good ghost story today.  Security cameras at the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach caught a mysterious apparition behind the bar. Do ghosts take their martinis shaken or stirred? Ghost in the Plaza Resort in Daytona Beach This historic hotel along Florida’s A1A is over 100 years old, and some employees believe that it’s possible that some guests checked in and their spirits never checked out. Employees like security officer Chris Lenkiewicz have reported strange goings-on in throughout the hotel. Phenonmena like doors that hold themselves closed despite being unlocked, cold zones commonly associated with the presence of the paranormal, or the fog-like figure seen moving through the bar on their security footage.  “It wasn’t dust. It wasn’t a flashlight. There was nobody on property causing stuff to happen to mess with other employees,” Lenkiewicz said.  Was it the ghost from room 1111, where a man fell from the balcony to his death? Maybe it was. A paranormal investigator will be staying at the hotel later this month to find out. What do you say, readers? Demi Lovato Releases "Let It Go" Music Video

Demi Lovato has taken a break from threatening Kanye West to come out with a new music video. The young X Factor judge makes a sullen turn in the video for “Let It Go,” a song that will be featured on the soundtrack for Frozen . In the footage, we see Demi all bundled up in black while standing in a cold, dark mansion that appears to be abandoned. All the furniture is covered in white sheets. Scenes from Frozen – which hits theaters on November 27 and which features the voices of Josh Gad and Kristen Bell – are interspersed with close-ups of the artist. Rihanna celebrated Halloween dressed as a gangsta zombie. One who was topless at one point. We know. It’s almost too shocking to put into words. To achieve her “chola” look, RihRih wore saggy pants, Hilfiger boxers, an open plaid shirt with bloodstains, a bandana, and big hoop earrings. Solid. Rihanna captioned the pics, ”My chola name was #ShyGirl.” Solid. She completed her spooky, October 31 ensemble with a fake tear tattoo under her right eye, another fake neck tattoo, goth makeup and black lipstick. The marijuana-loving singer also posted a picture of herself smoking what appeared to be a fat a$$ joint, making this day truly one to remember for her. Or just a regular Thursday night, given who we’re talking about … The girl loves her some weed. Even more than getting topless. Speaking of getting smoked, Chris Brown may be sweating bullets in rehab right now, as the probation officials he must report to are gunning for him. Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison: It’s Over?!?!?!?

According to a new report, it is all over for Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison. We’ll give you a few moments to pick your jaws up off the floor… Sources tell Radar Online that Stodden has simply “called it quits” on her three-year marriage because she wants to go in her own direction. It’s also possible she finally realized that Hutchison is 34 years older than she is. “She is done with him and he’s totally heartbroken,” the insider tells Radar, adding that Doug knew it was risky to marry a teenager but “he genuinely fell in love with Courtney and didn’t realize how much his life would be changed after they got married.” Stodden and Hutchison shocked the world when they got married in June 2011. She was 16 at the time. He was 51. Since then, the pair has often grossed us out with displays of public affection, while Stodden has seen her stock rise from that of a Z-lister to that of a Q-lister. She recently completed a run on Big Brother UK and said the experience made her feel like a “grown woman.” And, along those lines, she’s now ready to see the world for herself. “She is branching out and doing her own thing and Doug is getting left behind,” Radar reports. “It’s over.” Can you believe it, readers? Oh… right. So can we.

Kieffer Delp Arrested on Halloween, Jenelle Evans LOLs at Ex

Teen Mom 2 miscreant Kieffer Delp was arrested on Halloween night, according to reports, coming as a complete and utter shock to former lover Jenelle Evans. Not. Jenelle’s maligned ex was booked on breaking and entering charges and two counts of driving with a revoked license. He is being held on $3,100 bond. He’s been held on a $3,100 bond at the Brunswick County Jail. The arrest didn’t come as a shock to Evans. “I’m not surprised. LOL!” she said of Kieffer’s arrest, which landed him in the same jail as Courtland Rogers. Courtland, who is being held at Brunswick County Jail for up to nine months after failing a drug test, is technically still married to Jenelle Evans . Awesome. Rogers already spent time behind bars earlier this year after getting arrested for assault and heroin , along with Jenelle (who had the charges reduced). Kieffer Delp has a very, very long rap sheet as well, previously arrested for stealing steaks. Evans blames him for getting her hooked on heroin, also. Rogers, back when he and Jenelle were on good terms, lashed out at Delp last winter over that very topic, saying “she almost died cuz of u dumbass.” Takes one to know one?

Local Sports Anchor Does Full Segment as Ron Burgundy

Forget eating an entire wheel of cheese. THIS is impressive. Paul Gerke of KIVI in Boise, Idaho celebrated Halloween yesterday by doing his entire sports segment as Ron Burgundy. Rarely breaking character, the reporter mixed in local highlights with beloved Anchorman quotes (one quarterback was admired for his collection of “leather-bound books” and an apartment that “smells of rich mahogany”) while donning a fake mustache maroon jacket. You can hear Gerke’s colleagues cracking up in the background… and you really can’t blame them. It’s a very classy performance all around.
