Justin Bieber Challenges Fans To Choose ‘Boyfriend’ Cover Art

Well, the singer is giving his fans that opportunity. Bieber has released two photos and requested that fans choose which will be the official art for his next single, “Boyfriend.” The photo that receives the most fan tweets wins. Biebs dons a gray checkered top over a gray T-shirt in both photos, but it’s the pose that really differentiates the two shots. In one, he stands looking away from the camera, his hands at his side. In the other, he’s looking to the camera, his hand running through his famous hair. The Mike Posner-produced track will drop on March 26. It’s the first single off his forthcoming album, Believe , out later this year. Bieber hit the studio with a number of A-listers for the album, including Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and super-producers Diplo and Ryan Tedder, plus will.i.am, Drake and Lil Wayne. “You can’t really expect anything from my album. It’s really, really different,” Bieber told MTV News. “And it’s new; it’s not the same thing everyone’s used to hearing right now on the radio. It’s really exciting for me, ’cause I’m able to break out of my shell and show my fans what I’m all about and show other people who might not like my music that maybe they can like my music. “I’m not trying to lose any of my young fans,” he continued. “I’m not trying to lose any of my fans, I’m just trying to gain fans, and I think that’s the best way to do it.  as possible replacements for Nicole Scherzinger on “The X Factor,” Ms. Jackson seemed like the most intriguing. The soft-spoken star has plenty of experience on TV — including starring roles as a teenager in “Good Times,” “Diff’rent Strokes” and “Fame” — but taking a seat next to Simon Cowell for the second season of his singing show just isn’t in the stars. After weeks of rampant speculation, Jackson told The Insider that she’s taking her hat out of the ring due to scheduling conflicts. Cowell said that he had his eye on two women to replace Scherzinger and his reality TV bestie, Paula Abdul,

In honor of the momentous occasion, we thought we’d bring you Bieber’s responses to some more of your burning questions. Beliebers wanted to know everything from what his life plans are to how things have changed since becoming famous. MTV News toasted to Bieber’s birthday in a number of ways — we asked his famous pals like Usher and Lil Wayne to send shout-outs and counted down his top 18 moments so far — but answering fans’ questions may be one of the biggest highlights of his birthday week. To get an idea of what a Justin Bieber 18th Birthday Mega Bash might look like, we turned to party planner to the stars Colin Cowie, who dished on how he’d plan out the Bieb’s big par-tay. “Since it’s his first real big birthday and he really plays to a big world, he deserves a big party,” Cowie said. “And I would pull out all the stops.” Everything from the location to the food to the entertainment has to live up to Bieber’s celebrity, but also has to still feel intimate. “I’d take a great nightclub and throw a fabulous party in a nightclub, not too big … invite 200 of his best friends,” he explained, suggesting Manhattan hot spot the Double Seven as a possible location. “I think I would use a combination of a DJ to start with, get the crowd going, add a couple live musicians just to build the energy and then have a live band,” he said of the entertainment. “And maybe Usher puts together a great musical repertoire, invites someone like Beyonc

Rick Ross Announces Rich Forever European Tour

In promotion of his latest mixtape and all things MMG, the Bawse is hitting up Europe for his 14-date Rich Forever Tour, which begins in Lille, France, on March 21. According to AllHipHop.com , Rozay will not only be performing songs from his respected rap catalog, but also debuting new music from his upcoming God Forgives, I Don’t album. By the time Ross wraps things up April 4, he will have run through Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Holland and London. On Thursday, Ross released a music video for his “Spend It” freestyle. Rozay rocks a red and white Adidas tracksuit in the Spiff TV-directed video as he raps his bars over the 2 Chainz instrumental riding around in a black Maybach. It’s the same type of street material Ross has ruled with over the past year. His musical grind earned him the #1 spot on MTV News’ Hottest MCs in the Game list, placing him over the likes of Drake, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. “It’s something I’ve been watching, something I’ve been a fan of forever. But what do you get the guy who already has everything? MTV News’ Christina Garibaldi hit the streets of NYC to find out, visiting some of the Big Apple’s most exclusive big-name retailers to find the pop prince the perfect birthday gift. Anyone who’s seen MTV’s classic “Cribs” knows that the rich and famous love cars, and “the more the merrier” seems to be the motto when it comes to filling your garage with sweet rides. Biebs already has a Ferrari and a Cadillac Batmobile, so what more does he need? Paul at Manhattan Motorcars thinks he’s got just the ticket: the redesigned 2012 Bentley Continental GTC. “Very sporty car, definitely aimed at a younger buyer,” Paul told MTV News. “Completely hand-built, handcrafted in England. Just a blast to drive.” With a new ride lined up, Bieber’s going to need a new pair of shades to keep the sun out of his precious peepers while he’s cruising around Hollywood. For those, MTV visited Jordan Silver at Silver Lining Opticians. “Some of the most amazing pieces I think Justin might like are Persol, Ray-Ban and some of the brands that did car collaborations in the ’80s,” Silver said. “One we just got in is by Maserati. It’s a shield with three sets of lenses, interchangeable, and two sets of temples so that when you’re traveling at high speeds you might need the extra protection of the cable temple.” The cost? A cool $1,200. But that’s pocket change to Bieber’s pals like Lil Wayne , who hit the recording studio with the “Baby” singer last month. If Bieber’s girl Selena Gomez is feeling sentimental about the dog they recently adopted, she could hit up Trax NYC for an $18,000 23-carat bulldog pendant. “Got some pink diamonds in the eyes. Yellow diamonds, black diamonds, all hand-set,” Trax’s Paul Mazza told MTV News. For an even pricier gift, Christina checked out some of Trax’s blinged-out watches. “If you look at it right here, there’s a lot of diamonds,” Mazza said, showing off a $20,000 watch featuring 35 carats in diamonds. “This is something that definitely garners a lot of attention. … Got one for every day of the week, different colors.
