American Idol went back in time this week, as the contestants performed songs from the 1980s . But the remaining eight hopefuls could only look to the past for so long, as they were forced to consider the future on Thursday, namely: Who would be sticking around to take the stage against next Wednesday evening? In quick succession, those voted to safety were Caleb Johnson … followed by Jessica Meuse… and Dexter Roberts. CJ Harris was the first to land in the Bottom 3. We then learn that Alex Preston is safe, as is Jena Irene. This leaves Sam Woolf, CJ and Malaya Watson as the least popular trio, with Sam being called to safety and Ryan Seacrest telling the world that MALAYA WATSON has been eliminated. According to Us Weekly sources, “there was a physical altercation” between these two Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members during a taping of that show’s reunion special today. Just how out of control did the brawl get? One basically went all Chris Brown on the other. ” Porsha beat the crap out of Kenya, dragged her across the stage by her hair, and gave her a major beatdown,” says the source. Thanks to the premiere of Surviving Jack (seriously… thanks!) the drawn-out American Idol results show was cut to 30 minutes this week. So we won’t waste any time in revealing the Bottom 3 after what most believed was a fairly entertaining performance episode : Sorry, Majesty Rose, CJ Harris and Sam Woolf . But even more sorry to Majesty in particular because she earned the lowest number of votes. The adorable young hopeful sang “Happy” in an attempt to earn the judges’ save. Alas. “This has been the hardest deliberation for us,” Keith Urban told the contestant and the audience. “It’s not about talent or ability. We got to agree. By a narrow margin, we are not using our save tonight.” And that’s the end of the line for Majesty Rose. Did viewers make the right call? Yes, but what a run! No, it should have been Sam! Hate it or love it ?? O.J. Mayo Buys $1.8 Million Milwaukee House Via Realtor O.J. Mayo’s contract with the Milwaukee Bucks runs all of three seasons, but that didn’t stop the talented NBA guard from putting down roots in Wisconsin. If nothing else, Mayo will be living comfortably during his stay in Brew City. The 26-year-old guard recently made a big-time purchase, picking up a five-acre property in the River Hills suburb of Milwaukee. Built in 1995, the home is a modern take on the Prairie School style and incorporates classic Prairie attributes such as horizontal lines, inlaid windows and a prominently pitched roof. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two fireplaces and over 9,000 square feet of living space. The first floor has a kitchen with a breakfast room that flows into an outdoor living room. Downstairs, a finished lower level has been converted into a recreational mecca of sorts and comes complete with a separate kitchen and bar, various game rooms, a movie theater and a sportsman’s room. Records show that Mayo paid $1.8 million for the home in late September. Woman Impersonates Husband’s Girlfriend And Posts Sex Ads On Craigslist She needs her azz whooped for putting that girl’s business out there and exposing her to box-thirsty perverts. According to Mail Online A woman impersonated her estranged husband’s girlfriend and posted ads on Craigslist for men to come to her home for sex, police said today. Samantha Weber, 38, from Houston, is accused of putting an ad on the classifieds website on April 18 featuring a picture of Heather McCarthy, from Cypress. It also had a ‘statement of desire for any men to come to her house for the purposes of sexual activity’ and listed her address. The victim contacted the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office to report that a number of strange men had come to her home looking for sex. She said she was in fear for her safety and denied placing any ad on Craigslist. When her boyfriend – Weber’s estranged husband – confronted one of the men, he showed him the classified ad, according to court documents. Investigators obtained subpoenas from Craigslist.com, AT&T Wireless and Google and were able to trace the ad to Weber’s phone number and email address. She was also the account holder of the IP address, Click2Houston reports. A search warrant revealed emails in Weber’s account from persons responding to the ad, investigators say. Of all the places and days for this man to take his own life… Man Commits Suicide In Wife’s Hospital Room After She Gives Birth The birth of a new baby was overshadowed by a horrific tragedy for one Houston couple after the father of the child shot himself to death inside the hospital room where his wife had just given birth three hours earlier. via Chicago Tribune A Houston man shot himself to death in his wife’s hospital room on Sunday, 3 1/2 hours after she had given birth to their baby, police said. “Family members said he has been distraught recently,” Houston police spokesman John Cannon said on Monday. The man, whose identity has not been released, shot himself in a private room at Willowbrook Methodist Hospital in Northwest Houston on Sunday afternoon, Cannon said. He died shortly after being transported to another hospital, according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. His wife, who gave birth earlier on Sunday, was not injured, and Cannon said the baby was not in the room at the time. President Barack Obama raised eyebrows in the political world today, praising California’s Kamala Harris as America’s “best-looking” attorney general. Speaking at a Bay Area fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, the president said that Harris, 48, is “brilliant,” “dedicated” and “tough.” “She also happens to be, by far the best-looking attorney general.” According to reports from the fundraiser, the crowd laughed (either due to discomfort, amusement or both) after which Obama said, “It’s true! C’mon.” Some cringed at Obama’s remarks, given the historic hurdles women have faced to be recognized for accomplishments rather than physical appearances. Jonathan Chait of N.Y. Magazine called Obama “disgraceful.” “Women have a hard time being judged purely on their merits,” he wrote. “Discussing their appearance in the context of evaluating job performance makes it worse.” The Washington Post ‘s Jonathan Capehart countered that Obama and Harris are “longtime friends and allies” and he wasn’t “cat-calling a woman he doesn’t know.” “If I thought for one moment that’s what was going on, you better believe I’d hammer him for it.
