As early as today, the Google change its name to Topeka, followed by a fake new item in the Google blog that a town named Topeka has been renamed to Google, and that is the Kansas. Many people got confused and enter the biggest and largest search engine thinking that they had entered the wrong site or web address. Even our favourite Starbucks Coffee participated in the April Fools Day joke today. Starbucks take this opportunity to announce their “new sizes”, wow! Starbucks says the Plenta™ (128 fl oz) and Micra™ (2 fl oz)-sized cups arrive in Starbucks stores this Fall. Are customers pulling AFD jokes on you? Or, are you pulling jokes on them? We also have 3D movies and 3D photos… Why not 3D books? Google took on the challenge, and you can witness it now. Google Books 3D is now available as a permanent beta! In an effort to save themselves $1 per minute in bandwidth costs, Youtube has launched a brand new viewing mode dubbed “TEXTp”. Displaying actual characters rather than pixels, this video mode is sure to cause seizures all around the globe. Anna Paquin Says “I’m Bisexual!”

Anna Paquin made an announcement in a PSA video where she promotes the Give a Damn Campaign that features celebrities speaking out for equality. Despite of being engaged to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, she made this shocking public service video announcement. During a private taping on January 30 in Los Angeles, she was so outspoken on camera about her being a bisexual and that she gives a damn about it. Anna Helene Paquin is a New Zealand actress. She played role as Rogue in the blockbuster X-Men movie in 2000, its sequel X2 in 2003 and the third installment which is X-Men: The Last Stand in 2006. In 2008, she appeared as Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood. She also won a Golden Globe for Best Actress and Satellite Award in a Television Drama Series. Paquin’s PSA comes as a representative of the True Colors Fund. It is an organization devoted to gaining equal rights for individuals who are gay, straight, bisexual or even transgendered. The organization’s “Give a Damn” campaign was launched on Thursday, where Paquin was the first of several people unveiled on-line in coming months. If you are in the US and you are wondering why Google changed its logo to a certain word named “Topeka”, then you are fooled. LOL. Topeka is today’s April Fools Prank Online by the search engine giant Google. Google used this word “Topeka” to give honor to what the real “Topeka” did for them. Accordingly, Topeka is a name of a town in Kansas. In an effort to win the bid for Google’s broadband network service, If you don’t know, Topeka Mayor Bill Bunten issued a proclamation last month to temporarily change their town’s name from Topeka to Google Kansas. Well, this move by residents of Topeka is honored by Google and they are just returning the favor that’s why they changed their company name to Topeka. However, if you are asking if Google is really changing its name, the answer to that is a big NO. Google is not changing its name permanently to Topeka. It was just a temporary change. It will go back to its original “Google” name after April Fools Day. Because of that fact, you cannot use the word “Topekaing” vis a vis the word “Googling” when you are using Google’s search engine. Topeka Kansas: April Fools Pranks Online: Google April Fool: Google Topeka – Well I guess some of you now are much aware of whats happening and the latest buzz about the Topeka in Google search engine. And yes, indeed that the biggest search engine in the world change its name into Topeka, thus making most of the online users now confused of whats happening around the internet surface now. And still in connection with the April Fools Day, it seems that Google participated so much with this traditions and celebration that is why they have made their own “Google April Fool” or should I say “April Fools Pranks Online” made by Google. And for everyone’s information, Google said the move was inspired by a Kansas town which in March changed its name to that of the Internet giant as part of a US bidding process to be the test hub for the company’s experimental super-fast broadband network. Apparently, through its official announcement, Bill Bunten, Topeka Mayor announced that during one month, starting March 1 until March 31, the city will be called Google . Google full, Kansas – the capital city of fiber optics. So this is the big questions now, are you willing to celebrate the April Fools day with Google for this day? Well I must admit that I have learned an additional word today which might be included from now on in my historic list of vocabulary words in my brain. Have a nice day! PS3 Update 3.21 for PlayStation 3 Gamers

The new PS3 Updates are bad. Well, for those who use pirated games. The  PS3 Update 3.21 will prevent gamers from being able to play pirated PS3 games. It will fix the system of PS3 which they’ve been trying to do for a long time now. The Playstation manufacturers are saying that this new update should prevent the use of any illegal games or softwares for the PS3. As expected, many gamers are not happy about this new firmware update for the PS3. The Playstation 3 is one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world and this move may see a downturn in units sold especially in other countries where pirating is rampant. You may choose not to upgrade your PS3 unit but the reports indicate that such a move will prevent some other features for the PS3 as well. Reports have surfaced that preventing your PS3 update 3.21 will cause your PS3 to prevent playback of PS3 software titles or Blue-Ray video discs that require PS3 version 3.21 and later. This could also prevent the ability to sing into PS3 networks for Playstation features that require you to sign on too these networks. It has yet to be seen if the PS3 Update 3.21 for PlayStation 3 Gamers will have a big adverse effect in countries like the United States. Right after being included in the bottom three, Didi Benami of Knoxville, Tennessee got eliminated while Katie Stevens and Tim Urban survived. Her strong reprise of her signature Fleetwood Mac cover wasn’t enough to keep her in American Idol Season 9. She got eliminated in the 6th round. She tried to sing a song and to earn their one “save” but then Simon revealed that they would not save her. Despite of the result, Simon said that her performance was better than her performance for the pssed nights. Ruben Studdard Announces A Tour with Clay Aiken

The American pop, R&B and gospel singer Ruben Studdard returned to American Idol to sing his new single and announced that he will be having a summer tour with former American Idol competitor Clay Aiken. All summer long, Rubend Studdard and Clay Aiken will be touring together. It seems that they have planned to bond this summer but according to some blogs in the web, Studdard will not reunite with his friend. Studdard released one CD but seemingly vanished and that time Aiken has risen in the industry bu also slowed his career down because of having a baby and come out of the closet announcing he was homosexual should have been making new ways to return to the industry by refreshing everything together this summer. American Idol contender Didi Benami dedicated her last song to her friend who died in 2005. Didi’s friend, Rebecca Joy Lier died on Dec. 14, 2005. Didi Benami sang the song by Fleetwood Mac. She was on American Idol Season 9 and had her audition with celebrity judge Avril Lavene. The American Idol TV series now moves on with 9 more contestants. Warwick Mall Flood Pictures from the Rhode Island Flood (RI)

The pictures from the Warwick Mall Flood are simply devastating. These pictures make Rhode Island in the developed country of the United States look like a third world country. The floods remind me of the recent devastating floods in Asia. Places like the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and more were hit by powerful rains and typhoons and eventually got engulfed in the flood waters. Though no one was expecting this to happen to the USA. We had our pre-shock with New Orleans when Katrina hit. Now looking at these pics from the Rhode Island Flood, it is quite shocking to see it happen again. Please help the people from Rhode Island rebuild. It may take time but with help from everyone, they are sure to recover from this flood. There are info and more pics and videos from this flood. Most especially from the Warwick Mall Flood Pictures from the Rhode Island Flood incident. We all need to be aware of this. Rescues are stil being made from the Rhode Island Flood.
