It’s clear that London’s own experience as a doting mother of two comes through in her role of Vanessa King, as she prioritizes her family both on and off screen. “Being a mother has changed my outlook on life,” the 34-year old actress recently told The Grio, “and I think that naturally filters into my work.” In the series premiere, we’re introduced to Vanessa and Marques King (Sarunas J. Jackson), a good looking and successful couple who seemingly have it all but struggle to keep their marriage in tact due to Marques’ compulsive cheating. In spite of their struggles, we see that Vanessa clearly loves her husband, or “King” as she calls him, and even puts her dreams of becoming a high-powered attorney on hold to become the perfect wife and mother that’ll help take her husband’s professional basketball career to the next level. Like so many wives and mothers in real life, Mrs. King is devoted to keeping her family together, but her constant sacrifices can’t seem to stop her husband from messing around with known side-chicks and groupies behind his wife’s back. As an escape from Marques’ persistent unfaithfulness, Vanessa turns to her sorority sister and gossip blogger friend, Nia Bullock (Karen Obilom), for support and a sense of familiarity in her new Los Angeles home. But in the age of social media and click bait, there’s no escaping that reality as Marques’ extramarital affairs will soon be made public through an exclusive interview with his mistress done by Vanessa’s BFF, Nia. John Singleton Reportedly In Coma After Suffering From A Stroke

According to TMZ , the “Boyz N The Hood” director is in a coma after suffering a stroke last week. The gossip site claims his mother Sheila Ward has filed papers in court asking a judge to appoint her temporary conservator because he is “unable to properly provide for his personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” Apparently, the 51-year-old did not have any directives on what to do with his health, so his mother stepped in. In addition, Wards claims that at the time of his health crisis,  Singleton was in the midst of signing some “lucrative deals.” She now wants to handle his business affairs and sign any necessary contracts on her son’d behalf. When news first hit that Singleton had a stroke, his family told the press that it was “mild.” “On Wednesday, April 17th our beloved son/father, John Singleton, suffered a stroke while at the hospital,” a family statement read. “John is currently in the ICU and under great medical care.” Singleton checked into Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles after experiencing leg pain after a flight home from Costa Rica. Wendy Williams: Police Feared She Was Being Poisoned During Marriage

Before Wendy Williams served her awful husband with divorce papers, she hired a security team to keep her safe. Months earlier, police had visited her home for a welfare check after an anonymous caller claimed that Wendy was being poisoned. Is this divorce really about cheating? Or is it about attempted murder ? TMZ got their hands on an alarming police report. Back in January, a “random caller” contacted authorities to report that Wendy Williams was essentially being poisoned by her husband, Kevin Hunter. The source of the call claimed to work for Wendy’s production company. The unidentified caller believed that Kevin was providing Wendy with some sort of dangerous substance. The police were asked to do a welfare check, so they obliged. This went down during Wendy’s extended hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show . According to the police report, two officers visited Wendy Williams’ residence in New Jersey. They were greeted by Kevin Hunter, who appeared hesitant to allow them into the house. He explained to them that Wendy was “sick” and “recovering from a health problem.” Police declined to accept his “no” and he eventually relented. The officers explained that they were required to speak to Wendy because the had been instructed to do a welfare check. After Kevin ushered them in, the officers report finding Wendy in bed. Per their description, she sounds immobile, “with the blanket covering from neck to toe.” Kevin seemed to want to stay by Wendy’s side and monitor any conversation that they might have. One of the officers insisted that he allow them to speak to her directly and alone, and so he eventually left the room. Wendy explained to police that she was recovering from a broken shoulder, and that this was the “health problem.” This is when the officers told Wendy about the anonymous call claiming that she was being poisoned or dosed with something dangerous. Wendy apparently told the police something along the lines of “Well, I’m very popular,” as if to suggest that it was some crazed fan. That dismissal was not exactly an answer. When asked again, Wendy had a very different reaction. Wendy Williams is described in the report as having become tearful when the police asked a second time if she was safe. When she spoke, however, she denied that Kevin was poisoning her. After Wendy insisted yet again that she was safe and perfectly fine aside from her health, the officers departed. That’s it — no blood tests, to viewing of medical records. In our justice system, everyone’s hands are tied until the alleged victim asks for help — and sometimes, even then. Does the fact that there was a welfare check mean that Wendy was being poisoned by her husband? Of courrse not. That said, a guy who realizes that his mistress is about to give birth deciding to poison his rich wife would … not be unprecedented. As to what form that could take, the nervous caller may have been referring to opioids. Hypothetically speaking, an aspiring murderer could fuel someone’s addiction in the hopes that they will overdose all on their own. But we are of course not accusing Kevin Hunter or anyone else of anything.

Britney Spears: RETIRING From Music Amid Dad’s Health Crisis?

These are tough times for the pop icon known to her adoring fans as Godney. As you may have heard, Britney Spears’ father is reported to be on his death bed . Jamie Spears was forced to undergo emergency surgery after his colon spontaneously ruptured in November of 2018. Sadly, in the months since, the 66-year-old’s health issues have persisted, and insiders say the Spears family has been told to brace themselves for the worst. The singer is so distraught by the situation that she checked into a mental health facility last month. Sources say Britney sought help early, and with the help of loved ones and professionals, she’s managed to steer clear of another meltdown. But that doesn’t mean she’ll be returning to the stage anytime soon. According to insiders who spoke with Michael Shuter for his Straight Shuter podcast, Britney has decided to step away from music for the foreseeable future — and at this time, it’s unclear if the 37-year-old will ever perform again. “Britney’s only job is getting help and she has checked into a facility to seek treatment,” says one source . “She will do whatever it takes to get well and if that means walking away from performing, then so be it.” Fortunately, it seems that Britney has yet to experience any blowback from her decision. “People around her are being very supportive and don’t care about how much money she will be walking away from,” says the insider. “She already has more cash than she can ever spend and now is desperate to find something that money cannot buy, happiness.” A different source confirms to Us Weekly that her father’s illness was a “breaking point” for Britney that caused her to reevaluate her life and priorities. “Britney was distraught when her dad first got sick,” one insider tells the tabloid. “Then there was a period where she was handling it better and feeling more positive because Jamie seemed to be improving, but then his condition worsened and she couldn’t emotionally handle the thought of potentially losing him,” the source adds. “It was her breaking point.” Britney has already suspended her Las Vegas residency indefinitely, a decision she shared with fans in a heartfelt Instagram post: “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died,” she wrote. “We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. Wendy Williams Confronted Cheating Husband After Mistress Gave Birth!

Last week, talk show villain Wendy Williams filed to divorce her terrible husband , Kevin Hunter. Reports of his alleged cheating had been pouring in for ages, and it looks like her sobriety journey helped her make other changes in her life. Now we’re learning that the divorce only went down after Wendy confronted him about fathering a child with his mistress. People   reports that Wendy’s divorce is going down because she could no longer ignore Kevin’s antics. “The split is definitely due to Kevin’s ongoing infidelity,” an insider confirms. “And,” the source adds, due to the fact “that his mistress recently welcomed their child.” “Wendy had hired a private investigator,” the insider reveals. She got the facts first, the source explains, “and confronted him.” “He confessed to everything,” the insider notes, adding that this went down “three weeks ago.” The source explains: “All of the recent drama put a huge strain on Wendy.” Of course! Rumors are bad at any time, but especially when they’re true — and even more so when you’re in addiction recovery. All of this was a trigger for her, the insider explains, “and caused her to struggle with her sobriety.” She wrestled with her addiction, the source says, “as she did everything she could to try and save their marriage.” Even though it’s definitely the right move, apparently Wendy has really struggled with this choice. “The decision to split was terribly hard for her,” the insider expresses. “But,” the source notes. “She’s regaining her health.” Her health and general wellbeing matters more than any marriage. “She decided she needed to finally put herself first,” the insider reports. Wendy Williams’ representative released a much less informative statement about the divorce. “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time.” the statement began. The rep claimed that “Kevin is supportive of Wendy.” “And,” the statement continued. “They are working through this process together.” The statement concluded: “No additional comment will be provided at this time.” The Wendy Williams Show put out a statement affirming their appreciation of Wendy. “Wendy and her family have been a part of Debmar-Mercury for over 10 years,” the statement began. “We respect their privacy,” the show continued. “Regarding personal matters.” “As always,” the statement concluded. “We remain committed to bringing an entertaining and topical show to our viewers.” Wendy herself has taken shots at her cheating husband on her show. She has addressed the fact that her show has operated under the motto: “Their business is our business.” “It’s crazy ’cause now my business is your business,” Wendy pointed out. “It’s kind of funny,” she admitted. “Turnabout’s a fair game, I get it.” “I’m moving out of the sober house in just a few days, you know,” she revealed. “It’ll be Wendy on her own.” “I have to tell you, you know, I’ve been dealing with issues with addiction, alcoholism,” Wendy reminded her viewers. “And,” she revealed. “I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son,” “Believe me you,” Wendy expressed. “When you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day …” She added: “this is my life in the sober house.” Not exactly the best advertisement, but Wendy says that it’s been good for her. “It’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me,” Wendy expressed. “Addressing my sobriety, my addiction, head-on has really helped me sort out every single compartment of my life,” Wendy announced. “I have a commitment to me and my son,” she affirmed. “To come out of here better, stronger, and faster than ever.” “And by the way, I will still commit,” she promised. “I commit that the motto of this show will always be, ‘Their business is our business.’” In other words, just because her personal life was laid bare doesn’t mean that she’s suddenly sensitive to the privacy desires of other public figures. NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey: BOTH Fired by Bravo?!?

Can you believe that Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is already winding down to a close? What changes will Season 12 bring? Given the way that  NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey have clashed , viewers know that things between them have become untenable. Is Bravo going to clear the air by firing both NeNe  and  Cynthia? Who could possibly replace them? RadarOnline   reports that everyone involved is very conscious of this fierce new feud. Ultimately, it will just be in the hands of Bravo execs — but producers already know what they’re not going to do. “NeNe is coming back,” an insider assures. “She’s had a rough season,” the source acknowledges. “But,” the insider affirms. “She is the one that Bravo wants.” NeNe has had a lot to deal with, including Gregg Leakes’ cancer and her own meltdown that was captured on film. “Unless NeNe decides on her own not to do the show,” the source begins. The insider continues: “they will have her back.” “And,” the source teases, Bravo will even “give her a raise.” She already raked in $2.75  million  actual dollars for Season 11. But while NeNe’s place remains secure, the report cannot say the same for her former friend. “Execs are still considering firing Cynthia,” the insider reveals. That would be a significant shake-up to the cast. If they do go that route, they already know who will fill the void created by Cynthia’s departure. The source announces that execs would follow by  “bringing Marlo [Hampton] on full time.” “She could get married and have a baby,” the insider suggests. Speaking of execs, the source notes: “and they would like that.” But storyline potential — and it really is just  potential  at this point — isn’t all that Marlo has going for her as a potential Full Housewife. “She stirs the pot,” the insider observes. “She’s fun,” the source characterizes. “And makes for great TV.” There’s one person who definitely won’t return to the show’s roster, no matter how many fans she has. “The executives hate Kenya still,” the insider reveals. Hate ?! Hate is a strong word. “And they know that she was trying to capitalize on her free appearance for publicity when she showed up at Cynthia’s party,” the source says. Well … yeah. The insider concludes: “Kenya is definitely never, ever, ever coming back.” This report contains what may be some extremely good news for NeNe Leakes. A continued role on the show and a raise? That’s the dream. But we must stress that the contents of this report have yet to be confirmed. This could be the opinion of someone who works on the show’s production. That’s a far cry from an official announcement. And even if this report is true, it’s no guarantee that Cynthia Bailey is losing her peach. If she stays on the show, you can be sure that she’ll stir up added drama in Season 12 to keep her place secure. It’s the smart move to make. Justin Bieber Pens Super Romantic Poem To Hailey Baldwin

Justin Bieber is shouting his love for wife Hailey Baldwin from the rooftops.  And we all hear it… loud and clear.  On Monday, the 25-year-old got pretty cheesy  romantic and captioned an Instagram photo of Baldwin, 22, from a past Maxim photo shoot with a poem he wrote for her.  Writing directly to Hailey, the singer explained that he wanted to “publicly honor” her and wish her good luck on her shoot for the day.  “Sunlight falls into the Abyss Just like i fall into your lips,” the Biebs began his love letter.  “Waves crash onto the shore My love for you grows more and more Sound of the crickets a true meditation I think about you, Gods greatest creation.” The poem continues and at this point, we are not sure if he is trying to convince us or Hailey or both that he is actually over ex Selena Gomez .  “As i fall into this blissful state I ponder on how you’re my one true SOULMATE,” he proceeded.  “It’s getting dark too dark to see A chilling breeze embraces me The smell of chamomile fresh from the garden My life is a movie that both of us star in.” “Speaking of stars I’m starting to see some They light up the sky, reminds me of my freedom How big and how vast our world is around us So grateful for god we were lost but he found us,” Justin wrote, shocking us with the lack of capitalization on the word god, yet reminding us that he is still a poet even though his music is on hiatus.  “So i write the poem with him always in mind Things all around us Just get better with time.” It’s almost over I promise.  The “What Do U Mean” singer went on to tell Hailey that he falls more in love with her each day, adding, “You have walked hand and hand with me as I continue to get my emotions, mind, body and soul in tact!” “You have given me so much strength, support, encouragement and joy.” “I just wanted to publicly honor you, and remind you that the best is yet to come! Have a great shoot today my love!” he concluded.  In just a few short days, the couple will be celebrating seven months of marriage.  Justin and Hailey got engaged in July 2018 while vacationing in the Bahamas and secretly tied the knot in a surprise courthouse ceremony in September.  And while the couple has yet to walk down the aisle and share their vows (which Justin appears to have already completed, as seen above) in front of their close friends and family in a public ceremony, they have apparently jumped the gun and already moved into a new house together last week located in Beverly Hills.  “This is their first house together as a married couple, so it’s a big deal,” a source told People .  “They worked with a designer to furnish the house. It’s a fun project for them.” While milestones are being reached, the couple is taking their marriage one day at a time so Justin can focus on his mental health. So much so that New York City has declared a public health emergency due to the viral outbreak affecting the Orthodox Jewish community in Williamsburg. Mayor Bill De Blasio said in a new conference on Tuesday, that unvaccinated people living in select zip codes will be required to receive the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, known as MMR, to curtail the outbreak and protect others. “[Williamsburg, Brooklyn] is the epicenter of a measles outbreak that is very, very troubling and must be dealt with immediately. The measles vaccine works. It is safe, it is effective, it is time-tested. Every hour, every day matters here. If people would just go and get vaccinated, there’s no cause for a fine. It’s not our goal to issue violations.
