So much so that New York City has declared a public health emergency due to the viral outbreak affecting the Orthodox Jewish community in Williamsburg. Mayor Bill De Blasio said in a new conference on Tuesday, that unvaccinated people living in select zip codes will be required to receive the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, known as MMR, to curtail the outbreak and protect others. “[Williamsburg, Brooklyn] is the epicenter of a measles outbreak that is very, very troubling and must be dealt with immediately. The measles vaccine works. It is safe, it is effective, it is time-tested. Every hour, every day matters here. If people would just go and get vaccinated, there’s no cause for a fine. It’s not our goal to issue violations. Anyone who’s ever been through an ugly divorce knows it can be rather costly to end a marriage. But if you’re about to drop your dog off for his weekend visitation with your ex, you can take comfort in knowing that things could have been much worse — just ask Jeff Bezos. Back in January, Bezos announced his split from wife Mackenzie . Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that Bezos was romantically involved with Lauren Sanchez, a media personality who formerly hosted So You Think You Can Dance . At first, it was reported that Bezos had cheated on his wife with Sanchez , but reps for the Amazon founder and CEO say the two became involved only after he separated from Sanchez. Whatever the case, the whole situation deteriorated into a messy scandal in which the National Enquirer threatened to publish Bezos’ nude photos in a bizarre extortion plot. Considering all that, we suppose Jeff got out of his marriage with far less damage than he might have anticipated. Jeff and Mackenzie finalized their divorce today, and while she’ll walk away with a cool $35.6 billion in Amazon stock, her ex-husband will get to keep the remaining 75 percent of his shares. The settlement makes Mackenzie the fourth richest women in the world. Bezos retains the top spot on the billionaires list with a net worth estimated at $149 billion. (He was at a paltry $137 billion when he and Mackenzie announced their split.) Mackenzie confirmed that the divorce was finalized on Thursday afternoon with a surprisingly detailed tweet: “Grateful to have finished the process of dissolving my marriage with Jeff with support from each other and everyone who reached out to us in kindness, and looking forward to next phase as co-parents and friends,” she tweeted. “Happy to be giving him all of my interests in the Washington Post and Blue Origin, and 75% of our Amazon stock plus voting control of my shares to support his continued contributions with the teams of these incredible companies.” Bezos echoed Mackenzie’s amicable sentiments in a tweet of his own: “I’m grateful for her support and for her kindness in this process and am very much looking forward to our new relationship as friends and co-parents,” he wrote. The couple married in 1993, before he founded Amazon and long before he became the richest man in the world. Mackenzie is often credited with helping to lay the groundwork for the world’s largest online retailer in the company’s early days. But we are getting closer and closer to the truly big one… Before the Royal Baby enters the world, however, Harry and Meghan have officially moved into the home where their impending child will be raised. The famous parents-to-be now reside into their newly renovated home, Frogmore Cottage, which is located on the Frogmore Estate in Berkshire. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are expecting their first child any week now, were initially revealed to be leaving their two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London last November. The decision took many observers by surprised and fueled talk about a Markle and Kate Middleton feud . There was an assumption as the time that Markle simply had to get as far away from her rival as possible. Is this really the case? We’ll likely never know. It’s equally conceivable that the couple simply wants their son or daughter to grow up outside the busy city of London. “Windsor is a very special place for their royal highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate,” Kensington Palace simply said in a statement last fall. Last month, in anticipation of Markle giving birth, the formation of a new household for Harry and Meghan was also confirmed, putting an end to the joint household the prince shared with older brother Prince William at Kensington Palace. This is technical Royal Family stuff, but it’s important to those who are interested in the lives of Harry, William and their wives. “The Queen has agreed to the creation of a new household for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, following their marriage in May last year. The Household, which will be created with the support of the Queen and the Prince of Wales, will be established in the spring,” a royal statement announced a couple weeks ago. It continued: “The Duke of Sussex currently has his own private office, which has been supporting the Duchess since Their Royal Highnesses engagement in November 2017. “This long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangements for the Duke and Duchess’ work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage.” Frogmore Cottage, of course, is not really a cottage in any traditional sense. It has 10 bedrooms, for example. It was gifted to Harry and his wife by Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and is very nearby from the queen’s Windsor Castle, where the superstars are expected to spend Easter Sunday. There’s also plenty of room here for Markle’s mother to feel comfortable, as she’s expected to stick around for awhile after her grandchild is born. She is not expected to move permanently into the estate, however; neither is Markle’s attention-starved father or insult-hurling step-sister. They both suck and will hopefully never receive an invite to the home. At this point, meanwhile, Markle is on maternity leave and is not expected to be out and about in public very much. All we can really do is sit back and debate potential baby names while we await the momentous occasion. Courageously, Britney Spears checked herself into a mental health facility as she grapples with her father’s serious health crisis. Officially, her ex and father of her children Kevin Federline has voiced his support for her strength and dedication to staying healthy. But it turns out that, behind the scenes, he is allegedly plotting to use this incident to leverage even more money out of her. Over a year ago, Kevin Federline sued to force Britney to give him more child support . He was already receiving $20,000 per month from Britney to cover two young boys, Sean Preston and Jayden, for a fraction of said months. Despite expectations to the contrary, Kevin got his wish. The final amount of money that he managed to extort — sorry, receive — per month from Britney remains confidential. But reports said that K-Fed secured himself a “significant increase” in monthly payouts. Now, however, he allegedly wants more. “They settled out of court in September,” an insider reminds RadarOnline . “And,” the source claims. “Everyone was okay with the increase that Kevin was given.” We are sure that Kevin, in particular, was loving it. “But now he is asking for more money,” the insider notes. The source explains that Kevin’s rationale for asking for more is “because he will need to care for the boys permanently for the time being.” “Kevin has the kids right now,” the insider says. “And,” the source continues. “They obviously don’t know what is really going on with their mother.” Is that obvious? According to the latest Page Six reports sources say Williams and Hunter are exploring what a separation would look like for them, although he manages her and they’re partners in Williams Productions, the company which produces her show. “There is a discussion about what happens now — everyone is asking ‘How can they possibly stay together?’ Wendy still loves Kevin, but her health is at stake. “They are so tangled up together in business, so they are carefully looking at what a separation could entail. It will be difficult.” What could be more difficult than learning your husband may have fathered a child with another woman though? Seriously! Page Six says Williams was left devastated after they revealed Hunter’s alleged mistress Sharina Hudson, gave birth last week week. While Hunter has not been confirmed as the father, many reports have speculated he may be. Wendy’s show is on hiatus this week. The reality series Below Deck shows a group of young people who work aboard yachts. Crew members, dubbed yachties live abroad on the luxurious vessels while making sure clients’ high demands are met, but while also getting to have their own fun in the sun as they visit some of the most beautiful places around the world. Former yachtie Caroline Bedol had quite the storyline on last season and if you saw the show then you already know we are in for a rocky ride. The drama for Caroline was never-ending as she was often bullied by chief stew Kate Chastain and second stew Josiah Carter. It eventually became so bad that Caroline decided to quit the show to remove herself from the toxic situation. The former third stew revealed to Radar Online that she started having suicidal thoughts from the time she quit until “halfway through the airing of the season.” She described how she felt when she finally returned home from her traumatizing experience, saying “I was fighting alone. Once I got back I was really depressed. I was struggling. I was saying, ‘every episode, I feel like I am dying.” Caroline revealed that she never heard from any of her castmates after her sudden departure. But she certainly had a lot to say about her former boss Kate, labeling her a “textbook psychopath.” She elaborated saying, “I don’t use the world [psychopath] flippantly. It’s a personality disorder. These people display patterns and that’s why we study them.” Despite the hard ship , Caroline says she actually had some positive experiences from being on the show. She said she discovered her confidence that she “did not have in the beginning” and she also is now valuing her health and putting herself first from now on. Yay! Caroline has made a strong presence on social media since her TV debut and has used it to connect with supportive people. “The positive that’s come from the show is something that I’ve never had before and that’s a platform to reach people,” she said. “I’ve received so many messages saying ‘I relate to you, I have depression,’ it’s humbling,” she shared. She also posted numerous Instagram live sessions over the past few weeks where she surprisingly shared that she is “homeless.” She posted a photo from a hotel she was staying at to Instagram with her emotional support dog Rico, assuring us that she is not too terribly alone. Caroline confirmed with Radar that she is technically homeless, but it’s not as bad as it may sound. “I’m not looking for a homeless shelter to stay in, but I am homeless in the sense that I am in between homes,” Caroline revealed. She says that she’s not bothered when people refer to her as “homeless,” before further understanding her situation. “I’m not sure where I’m going to be landing geographically,” she says. “You get motels or hotels when you can, you sleep in your car if it’s warm.” Hm, I bet she is missing the yacht life right about now? To make matters worse, she is also currently struggling financially as she admits she is in a boat load of debt. “In an effort to get my mother secure, I went into credit card debt,” she tweeted on Wednesday. “Two credit card companies are suing me, but I’ve [got] a very Jewish attorney handling it (Suck it, @radar_online),” she added. In case you missed her Twitter meltdown, a user who was following Caroline expressed concerns to Bravo, which reportedly led to the police visiting Caroline for a welfare check . The former reality star was not happy about the stranger’s call and said on Twitter that “the welfare check was not valid” and that “it’s not correct to call the cops on a stranger who you deem suicidal.” After her very personal article was published, Caroline replied with an almost compliment. “Well done Radar ,” she naturally tweeted. “Still not impressed but it doesn’t suck like everything else you do,” adding a kissing emoji.
