For the dance track, the reality starlet worked with The-Dream, got some encouragement from Kanye West and Ciara, and even shot a slick music video with Hype Williams. Kim talked about the new song with MTV News on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, finally announcing when fans will get to hear the tune. “[It’s coming out] in about three weeks,” she told Sway Calloway and special MTV correspondent Snooki. “I’m so excited.” Kardashian further revealed that, “in a couple of weeks,” fans will be able to see footage of her working on “Turn It Up” on her E! reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York . She also admitted that she really had to step out of her comfort zone when hitting the studio to record the song, which has yet to be heard by the world. “You know it was something that I was really uncomfortable and nervous about, and [The-Dream] really just wanted me to step outside of my box and try something I’ve never done before,” she said. “So I was really honest.
