Sad sack Teen Mom train wreck Amber Portwood is still behind pars, and to add insult to injury, the Indiana native’s latest mug shot has just been released. Not surprisingly, she doesn’t look too pleased. Amber was arrested Monday after she failed to show up to her latest probation hearing … and authorities sent to Amber’s house found pills in her purse. She couldn’t prove she had a prescription for the pills, resulting in a clear violation of probation and another stint in jail for Portwood. Cue the mug shot: Portwood was on probation after she was convicted of domestic battery for attacking her ex-fiance, Gary Shirley. Amber’s sentence to two years in jail was suspended, provided Portwood stuck to the rules of her probation, which was highly unlikely . After her latest arrest, Amber could end up spending her Christmas behind bars – for the second consecutive year. A court hearing is reportedly set for January 13, and given the circumstances surrounding her case, don’t expect bail to be offered. Oh well. Check out THG’s ever-expanding gallery of celebrity mug shots !
Jessica Simpson is pregnant, and put off her wedding as a result of that unexpected joy, but she’s still planning on getting married to Eric Johnson next year. She’s been shopping for the big day in fact. The expectant 31-year-old star was spotted visiting a Monique Lhuillier wedding boutique Sunday in L.A. Dresses in the store range from $3,000-20,000. So is she planning to wed while pregnant? Simpson and Eric Johnson got engaged on November 11, 2010. The wedding was pushed back after she got pregnant, but she’s adamant it’s still on. After they’ve welcomed their little one. “I didn’t want to be stressed,” she said. “Now when I get stressed it’s like 50 times worse. I really want to enjoy that day, and now I get to have my baby with me.” “We were always going to wait [until] after the baby. We flirted around with different dates before I found out I was pregnant, and thankfully we didn’t lock anything down. I want to enjoy the day… I’m glad we didn’t make a deposit.” Seriously. Phew. How could she afford that kind of financial hit. It’s not like she’s getting paid $3 million to shed her baby weight or anything. [Photo: Fame Pictures]
Heidi Klum. Santa Claus. No pants. Enough said. Check out the photo: The 38-year-old supermodel and Project Runway host, whose Halloween costumes never cease to amaze, arouse or strike fear in us (these Heidi Klum pictures should give you an idea of what we’re talking about), is certainly in a festive mood this week. Klum, in a quintessential red, belted Santa Claus coat and furry heels, but sans pants, tweeted a picture of herself in a super sexy Mrs. Claus costume. “Mrs. Claus going to work,” she playfully wrote. Please, take us to your workshop Mrs. C.
When Brad Pitt lifted a glass of sparkling wine and toasted Angelina Jolie at Hollywood’s Magnolia restaurant Dec. 8, was he saluting more than her directorial debut? Almost definitely not. Still, if you believe what you read in OK!, six kids is not enough for the Brangelina brood. Unquestionably, Brad n’ Ange are looking to fix that problem in a hurry: They want a new baby in 2012. “She jokes about triplets constantly. And she’s not a big joker, really,” says a supposed
Justin Timberlake is engaged to Jessica Biel after popping the question at a luxury resort in Wyoming on Monday, according to secret sources … allegedly. The pair are staying at five star skiing resort in Jackson called the Amangani, and – if local intel is to be believed – that’s where he got down on one knee. Supposedly. Here’s where the Timberlake-Biel engagement rumor originated: An art gallery owner in the Jackson apparently heard the news (Justin and the New Year’s Eve star are literally the talk of the town) and Tweeted: “Word on the street is that Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel at the Amangani last night.” Not exactly hard proof, but the usual denials haven’t poured in, either. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were together for years before hitting a rough patch at the beginning of 2011. After a few months apart, they reconciled. Recently, the pair then were spotted spending time together in New York a few times in August, and by September things seemed to be fully back together . Maybe the break was exactly what they needed. If the engagement is real, it’s great news and we can’t wait to get the official confirmation from them. If it’s just a rumor … a celebrity gossip site can dream still. [Photos: Fame Pictures]

The season premiere of ‘When I Was 17,’ also featuring Bow Wow and Colbie Caillat, airs Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. By Nuzhat Naoreen Christopher Mintz-Plasse on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV In the new movie “Fright Night,” Christopher Mintz-Plasse plays a character who’s hot on the heels of a predator. It’s a role in which he’s had some practice. Back when he was 17, Mintz-Plasse and his friends actually played a game called “Predator.” On the season premiere of “When I Was 17” this Saturday at 11 a.m. ET, Mintz-Plasse recounts how one particularly intense game ended with him crashing his car. “When I was 17, this is a game in the valley that you play with your friends, it’s called ‘Predator,’ ” Mintz-Plasse explains. “You start at a friend’s house, two people get in the backseat, and they get blindfolded so they don’t know where they’re going. “So, you drop them off on a corner somewhere and take the blindfolds from them. The car goes back to the house, and when that happens, that’s when the game actually starts.” The goal for his passengers was to find a way back to home base without getting tagged, but Mintz-Plasse wasn’t about to let that happen. He decided to drive especially rough to confuse his blindfolded friends before dropping them off. But, his efforts went one step too far. “I was driving, and I like to mess with my friends, so I was really trying to get in their heads,” he recalls. “And I was just jerking left and right, and then I hit the gas pedal going up a hill, and I turn the wheel, and I lost control, and the two right wheels went up. It was horrifying. It almost tipped over this way, but I grabbed the wheel and spun it back down.” While his quick thinking might have helped him avoid a major accident, he still faced some damage. “As the car slammed, it just spun up on a curb and ran into a fence,” he says. Luckily, everyone walked away without injuries, but his parents were less than pleased when they heard the news. “My parents were pissed,” he adds. Find out whether Mintz-Plasse got to keep his car keys on the season premiere of “When I Was 17” this Saturday. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Bow Wow, Christopher Mintz-Passe and Colbie Caillat — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV.
