Heidi Montag Needs ‘Some Alone Time,’ Away From Spencer Pratt

By Jocelyn Vena Heidi Montag Photo: Michael Bezjian/ WireImage After news broke late last week that Heidi Montag had moved out of the home she shared with husband and fellow “Hills” star Spencer Pratt, she spoke briefly about the split with People.com . Montag said she needs some time away from her husband of one year . “I needed some alone time,” the reality star said of the separation from Pratt. “There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space — even away from my husband. I had to get away from the lies my family and supposed friends are saying about me. It’s time to concentrate on myself.” Montag has already found a new roommate: She’s currently living with former “Laguna Beach” star and sometimes “Hills” pal Jen Bunney. However, just because she’s not currently living with Spencer doesn’t mean that she doesn’t still care for him as she takes this time to figure stuff out. “I’ve always loved Spencer,” Montag said, adding, “but right now we’re working on things.” On Friday, news broke that Montag had moved out of the Malibu home she shared with Pratt. “Yes, the split is real,” Montag rep Lexi Vonderlieth reportedly told CNN via e-mail. “Like to say separation for now. As you can imagine it is crazy right now. She’s trying to lay low the next couple days. What I can say is that it’s a separation for now, not divorce.” While Spencer has remained mum about the breakup and hasn’t tweeted in the days before or after the announcement of their separation, Heidi has been active, tweeting about her time with Bunney. “So happy to finally spend time with my Bunny again! Girls only!!!!” Montag tweeted . “This is going to be the best summer of my life!!!!!! Laying out in the hot sun! Enjoying the beach.” Do you think Heidi and Spencer will divorce? Nevertheless, we here at Movieline are going to start covering Andy Cohen’s live oddity Watch What Happens with a regular feature called “The Weekly Andy Cohen WTF Moment.” For the first WTF treatment, Movieline will inspect last night’s typically bizarre episode, which opened with Cohen introducing Jerry Seinfeld as “the most elegant Semite of all the Semites I know” and continued with Seinfeld wondering out loud, “Why am I on this show?”

Charlie Sheen Will Plead Guilty, May Serve Jail Time in Assault Case

Charlie Sheen is preparing to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge stemming from his Christmas assault on wife Brooke Mueller – but will he go to jail? As part of a plea deal with the Colorado District Attorney’s office, Charlie may be facing as many as 45 days in the slammer in Aspen’s Pitkin County Jail. In exchange for Sheen’s plea, a felony menacing charge will be dropped. Sheen’s next court appearance is set for June 7, where his plea deal can be entered and his trial in the case (currently set for July 21) therefor canceled. As for what his punishment will be, sources connected with the case say the D.A. in Aspen and Charlie’s lawyers have hammered out four scenarios … Charlie Sheen’s assault on Brooke Mueller will result in a legal reprimand next week. But the actor is reportedly unsure which of the below scenarios he is willing to accept . Charlie pleads guilty to a misdemeanor and serve 30 days in jail. He enters the plea June 7 and immediately begins serving time. With good behavior, it could truncate to 17 days. After that stint, the case is closed. No probation. Charlie pleads guilty to a misdemeanor and receives no jail time, but is placed on two years probation. Sounds great, but if the star slips up, the judge could throw the book at him and he could be facing far more than 30 days in jail. Charlie receives “deferred prosecution,” i.e. the case will not go forward but the Two and a Half Men star must agree to various conditions, like not breaking the law. After a certain period of compliance, the matter would be expunged. Go to trial. Sheen is reportedly upset at the Tito Ortiz case, in which the UFC star was not prosecuted, even after allegations similar to those made against Sheen. This would be a huge roll of the dice, because losing ensures jail time. It’s all in his hands at this point, so stay tuned.

Please don’t shoot us Heidi Montag: but you won’t be taking over for Megan Fox in Transformers 3 . Multiple sources have confirmed that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is coming aboard the franchise, starting with this July 2011 release. “She’s accepted the offer, and I think they’re just waiting for her to get her work visa since she’s British,” an insider close to the production tells E! News. Huntington-Whiteley is a Victoria’s Secret model with “absolutely zero acting experience,” said a source. But she and director Michael Bay worked on a commercial together last year and hit it off. “He likes her, and that’s all that matters,” the source added, saying Rosie beat out Brooklyn Decker for the role. Huntington-Whiteley has rather big, beautiful, incredibly sexy shoes to fill now. Think she’s capable of taking over for Fox? Which of these beauties would you rather slip it to?
