‘Hunger Games’ Cast Will Meet Fans At U.S. Malls

March mall tour including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson announced as advance tickets for flick go on sale. By Jocelyn Vena Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence Photo: MTV News With “The Hunger Games” just four weeks away from hitting theaters, the cast will embark on a mall tour starting next month. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson all will make the rounds during the trek, kicking off March 3. The tour will hit eight cities over the course of a week with stops in Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. In addition to meet and greets with the big three and other castmembers from the highly anticipated flick, the mall stops will include Q&A sessions and giveaways. The first stop, March 3 at the City of Angels’ Westfield Century City, will feature director Gary Ross as well as Lawrence, Hutcherson and Hemsworth. March 6 at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead in Atlanta, Hemsworth will be joined by Leven Rambin, Dayo Okeniyi, Amandla Stenberg and Jack Quaid. There will be two stops March 7: Hemsworth, Rambin, Okeniyi and Quaid will appear at Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona, while the Westfield Fox Valley in Aurora, Illinois, will host Hutcherson, Isabelle Fuhrman and Jacqueline Emerson. The following day, March 8, Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig and Stenberg are scheduled for the Westfield Broward Mall in Plantation, Florida, and Hutcherson, Fuhrman and Emerson will be on hand at Galleria Dallas. Lawrence, Ludwig, Stenberg, Hutcherson, Fuhrman and Emerson will greet fans March 9 at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. The final stop, March 10 at Seattle’s University Village, will feature all three of the film’s top stars: Lawrence, Hemsworth and Hutcherson. In addition to the announcement of the mall tour, Wednesday (February 22) marks the first day fans can buy advance tickets to the flick, which opens March 23. Miley Cyrus Presents Adorable Gift to Liam Hemsworth

In promotion of The Hunger Games , Liam Hemsworth will likely be on the road often over the next few months. But girlfriend Miley Cyrus has now ensured her man won’t be alone. For the actor’s 22nd birthday last week, Cyrus presented him with an adorable puppy named Ziggy, Tweeting a photo of the canine for all followers to see: Hemsworth apparently wanted to name the dog “Daisy Duke” at first, Miley wrote, but: “I said NOOO WAY! Shes an angel! she loves her bro & sis too!” As seen above, Liam and Miley were most recently spotted together at last week’s People’s Choice Awards. Neither won any hardware, both both looked very good.

Variety’s Showblitz reports that youngster Liam Hemsworth , who gets his biggest break since dating Miley Cyrus in next year’s The Hunger Games , has been cast in the sprawling ensemble of The Expendables 2 . Wait, you say — isn’t he, like, four or five decades too young for this film? At 21, Hemsworth is quite a bit less wrinkly than his co-stars. Let’s start guessing now who he’ll play: Sly’s son? A flashback version of Jean-Claude Van Damme? Mickey Rourke’s bicep? [ Variety ]

Up until now, if you’ve been following spoiler set photos from The Avengers, you’ll know that all we’ve really seen is Chris Evans as Captain America. Today, however, videos of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) joining Cap on the Cleveland set came online. And, well, wow. Octomom Nadya Suleman made another startling claim today, accusing her former fertility doctor, Michael Kamrava, of having her sign crucial paperwork she was “not lucid” and under the influence of “valium and a cocktail of drugs.” So she claims, anyway. In a talk with Dr. Drew Thursday, Octomom said she was not of sound mind when she signed a consent form for 12 embryos to be implanted inside her. One thing led to another, and she had eight babies in January 2009. Eddie Cibrian stars in The Playboy Club on NBC this September. Also coming this fall? Another starring role, in an ad campaign for Charisma bath and bedding products! The handsome actor, who married LeAnn Rimes in April, poses in various states of undress in his photos … Cibrian has never been shy about flaunting his toned physique: he hits the beach with his wife quite often, and to stay in shape, regularly visits the gym. The Hunger Games First Look: Josh Hutcherson! Liam Hemsworth!

Two months ago, Entertainment Weekly gave readers their first look at Jennifer Lawrence in the main Hunger Games role of Katniss Everdeen. Now, the magazine had done the same for Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, who will portray the two young man both pining for Katniss in the big screen version of this best-selling novel, Peeta and Gale, respectively. Hemsworth, of course, is mostly known for dating Miley Cyrus . But director Gary Ross stands up for the Australian actor in an interview with the magazine and says: “On first glance he’s such a hunk that it’s easy to just sort of ascribe a hunk-like simplicity to him. Nick Frost Circles Last Dwarf Role in Snow White and the Huntsman

Paul actor/screenwriter Nick Frost is reportedly in negotiations for the seventh and final dwarf role in Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman . The English actor would join leads Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron — and fellow dwarf castees Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham, Ray Winstone and Ian McShane. Eddie Izzard was in talks for a dwarf role as well, but it appears he may have fallen out in favor of Frost. [ Variety ]
