JoJo returns with “We Get By”, the first release from her upcoming mixtape Agápē (love regardless of circumstance). JoJo recorded the song with a group of her friends known as The Backpackkids (a group of artists/musicians consisting of Austin Brown, Scott Bruzenak, & Tommy Parker), who all got together to create what they call genre-less music. Agápē is a labor of love from the heart without limits or boundaries, and is due to be released for free this December.

Here is Carmen Electra on the set of her upcoming movie – no clue what it’s called- wearing a see through sleeveless t-shirt. Carmen has still got the goods and she knows how to give us just enough tasty front meat to whet our appetites. It’s making me hungry for more.
Mariah Carey is on board as one of the new American Ido l judges. For a cool $18 million per year. And just days after this announcement was made official, Fox came out with the first promotional picture of its new panelist. She doesn’t exactly look thrilled to have the gig, does she? Still, no one can debate Carey’s credentials. She has sold over 200 million records worldwide and is responsible for more number-one singes than any solo artist in history. The questions now surrounding Season 12, which executives hope will be a major bounce back from a grossly disappointing Season 11 in the ratings game: Will Randy Jackson return? Will Brad Paisley join Mariah as a judge? Will a non-white male who does not play the guitar actually win/

It’s begun. With Mitt Romney’s three-primary sweep this week, he effectively made his clinching the Republican presidential nomination a matter of when, not if. Not surprisingly, President Obama has released a new TV ad this week, in response to criticism he’s incurred from oil companies – and Mitt Romney. The President argues that he has actually boosted domestic oil production, and is only a target because he sought to end tax breaks for oil corporations. Tax breaks that would ease the burden on average Americans – by his calculus, at least. Obama’s ad not-so-subtly links big oil to, you guessed it, Mitt. Desperate Housewives star Vanessa Williams is bravely and surprisingly opening up about sexual abuse she endured as a 10-year-old at the hands of a teenage girl. In a revealing interview in the new issue of People , Williams says the incident occurred when she was staying with family friends and their 18-year-old daughter. The 18-year-old entered her room and “pulled down the bloomers of my cotton baby doll pajamas,” said Vanessa. “I lay there paralyzed. What was I going to do?” Williams remained close-lipped about the sexual abuse for many years, but is now sharing her secret in her upcoming memoir, fittingly titled You Have No Idea . Despite the childhood trauma, the former Miss America said it didn’t emotionally scar her for life – however, there were long-lasting, indirect consequences. “It didn’t paralyze me, and I don’t dwell,” she explained, although it did cause her to act more rebellious and “pull away” from her parents as a youngster.
