You can’t be serious … Anti-Obama Artist Creates Runaway Slave Painting Jon McNaughton, an anti- Obama artist notorious for his slanderous political paintings, is back with another creation just in time for next week’s elections. Via Huffingtonpost : Titled “Runaway Slave,” the work depicts conservative figure Rev. C.L. Bryant, the man who recently produced a documentary by the same name on the alleged bondage of black Americans under liberal governments. McNaughton worked with Bryant to produce his new painting, telling CBS Houston that he supports the filmmaker’s sentiments. “My position is that the Democratic Party has brought the demise of Black America,” the artist said. McNaughton described his controversial painting on his website: “This painting is a beacon to all Americans, to free yourselves from the government bondage that enslaves your very soul. Be free of the old taskmaster that will offer you all the comforts if you will but do his bidding. Rise up and be great in the sight of God!” This is how you get attention as an artist when you have no artistic ability. Wow, you have to continue to ba amazed at how the election of a Black man to the presidency has made a sizeable percentage of the White population absolutely insane. How do you feel about the painting? Jon McNaughton
Aww shucks…thanks for clearing that up for us! Jon Hubbard actually gave an interview to defend his piece of isht book and it backfired because the lawmaker just ended up sounding even more racist. Hubbard continued to say that African-Americans are lucky they were once slaves. According to TalkBusiness : “Slavery was cruel, but as a result of slavery, we have African-Americans living in this country today who are living here in situations that are probably much better to endure than if they were living in Sub-Saharan Africa. If you had the choice knowing the lifestyle of people living in Africa and knowing the lifestyle of people living in the United States, which would you choose? Pure and simple.” “But I think the end result — that they [African-Americans] did get to live in America, although the means for getting here were terrible —I think the end result was better than it would have been if they had to live in Africa themselves.” Asked if the outcome justified the institution of slavery in early America, Hubbard said it did not. “I don’t think anything justifies nearly three centuries of slavery, but the facts are the facts; we can’t take that back,” he said. “… I don’t know of any other way that black people in America could have gotten here if there hadn’t been slavery back at that time.” According to Hubbard’s version of history, absolutely no one in Africa had a boat or a ship back in the day. Wow! We never knew Africans didn’t have boats!! The saddest part about this story is the fact that Arkansas Republican leaders have not asked Hubbard to resign. Images via Facebook
Guess we already knew he didn’t have love for the kids after he dissed Big Bird, but Mitt def doesn’t have a good excuse for this one! Robney chose to skip the “Kids Pick the President” special that Nickelodeon hosts each election year and the shows executive producer said the decision Mitt made “disses” children…SMH. This would have been a prime opportunity for Mittens to save face after the out of pocket comments he made about PBS during last weeks debate, but the Governor “simply didn’t have time. He couldn’t fit it in his schedule”. According to Businessweek… “Kids Pick the President: The Candidates,” with videotaped questions for the candidates from youngsters nationwide, debuts Oct. 15 on the children’s channel. Afterward, an online poll asks kids to make their pick. His decision is disappointing because “answering kids’ questions directly shows respect for the several million kids who will vote in Nickelodeon’s ‘Kids Pick the President’ campaign,” she said. “That’s several million kids who actually want to get involved in the democratic process,” Ellerbee said. “They don’t deserve to be dissed. But former Gov. Romney also blew off Letterman and Big Bird, so I guess we’re in good company.” The Romney campaign did not immediately respond to email and phone requests for comment…For the special, Obama fielded questions regarding gun control, jobs, illegal immigration, same-sex marriage and bullying. He also was asked about his most embarrassing moment, Nickelodeon said. Obama gets props from us (again); we’re sure POTUS has an even busier schedule than Romney and he still did the right thing and made time for the kids. Do you think Mittens should of made the effort? Grandma knows best ? Via TMZ reports : Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy is deathly afraid Bobbi Kristina will die like just the singer — in a haze of drugs and other bad influences — which is why she wants to withhold Bobbi’s multi-million-dollar inheritance, sources tell TMZ. Sources close to Cissy tell us, Cissy feels Bobbi is currently surrounded by numerous negative influences — including her boyfriend Nick Gordon and father Bobby Brown — who will drain Bobbi’s fortune given half the chance. We’re told Cissy also feels 19-year-old Bobbi is still extremely impressionable right now — and if left unchecked with millions of dollars, Bobbi could end up going off the rails … eventually dying just like Whitney. According to sources, Cissy wants to wait until Bobbi has matured significantly more before she gets her money … an estate estimated at $20 million … though it’s unclear how long she wants her to wait. As for allegations Cissy is trying to withhold Bobbi’s fortune to hoard the money for herself — Cissy is telling friends that’s total BS … that’s it’s about protecting her family. As we reported, Cissy and Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat Houston filed a request this week to modify Whitney’s will — in order to change the distribution schedule of the estate. Dang, Grandma Cissy really ain’t tryin to let Krissy live right now! Do you think Cissy is just trying to keep the $$$ for herself or protect her granddaughter?

If there are “0 F**ks Given” then why not just take yo’ a$$ on stage regardless of who you open for?? Lyfe Jennings Laughs At K.Michelle For Not Wanting To Open For Him In Tampa Via NecoleBitchie This weekend, while most of the VH1! ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Atlanta cast were down in the ATL for the BET Hip Hop Awards, K. Michelle was focused on getting her paper. She was originally scheduled to perform at the Straz center in Tampa along with Lyfe Jennings and Musiq Soulchild on Sunday night, however things went downhill when she decided she didn’t like her placement in the show. According to one concertgoer: I am angry at Kimberly Michelle Pate (K Michelle). She was scheduled to perform in my hometown Tampa, Florida along with Musiq Soulchild and Lyfe Jennings. In the promoters (Vybenation) contract she was to perform before Lyfe, but in her mind she felt as though she’s a “BIGGER” artist than him. So she threw a Diana Ross diva tantrum. Not only did she NOT perform and let her fans down, she blocked literally half of Tampa on twitter. K also said that she only perform for sold out shows. She went on to say that the promoters didn’t do they’re job, which isn’t true. She got paid $5000. Now my city is yelling #WHOISKMICHELLE. After learning of K.Michelle’s lil’ diva stunt, Lyfe hopped on Twitter to toss two cents. K.Michelle took to her Twitter page to try to justify her diva bullisht actions, which she promptly deleted… I’ve never missed a show a day in my life. I would never stand my fans up period. I was told no by the promoters, he didn’t like my request. Just because you’re on TV runnin’ around yappin’ about how Memphitz beat you, does NOT mean that you are bigger artist babycakes. What are your hits? Hell, what is one song that 100 people would know if they heard it right now?? Here’s an idea, find a seat, and have it.
Way to spin your struggles growing up so you could seem “relatable” to the rest of Black America. This b*tch just got put on blast! Like many of her fellow Repubs, Mia is opposed to “anchor babies” (a racist way to say “immigrants having children in order to stay in the country”). Turns out, Mia was an “anchor baby” herself…and the Mormon follower just got her azz fact checked after her RNC speech spit all that talk. We quoted Mia’s shady azz when she gave her speech at the RNC earlier this month… The speech, which drew sustained applause, combined her family’s journey to the U.S. with references to civil-rights icons Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.‘Our story has been told over 200 years,’ she told the adoring crowd. ‘With small steps and giant leaps, from a woman on a bus to a man with a dream.’ ‘My parents immigrated to the U.S. with $10 in their pocket, believing that the America they had heard about really did exist. ‘When times got tough they didn’t look to Washington, they looked within…‘The America I grew up knowing was centered in self-reliance and filled with the possibilities of living the American dream.’ She claimed President Obama was dividing the country – ‘pitting us against each other based on our income level, gender and social status.’ ‘His policies have failed,’ she continued. ‘We are not better off than we were four years ago, and no rhetoric, bumper sticker or Hollywood campaign ad can change that. ‘Mr. President, I am here to tell you we are not buying what you are selling in 2012.’ And according to Mother Jones , Mia’s story doesn’t make a lot of sense: When she spoke at the Republican National Convention last month, Mia Love, a GOP rising star who’s vying to become the first black Republican woman elected to the House, wowed delegates with her parents’ up-by-their-bootstraps tale. She said their story of coming to America from Haiti with $10 in their pockets formed the basis for her own belief in self-reliance and her staunch opposition to government handouts…Though a child of immigrants, Love has embraced much of her party’s tough stance on immigration. She has implied that she would back deporting the US-born children of illegal immigrants so as not to reward “bad behavior.” Yet by Love’s own account, she is what Republicans derisively call an “anchor baby”— someone born to immigrant parents specifically to game the immigration system and secure legal status for family members. Love doesn’t talk about this aspect of her family’s immigration story now that she’s running for Congress, but she once said in a little-noticed interview that her birth on US soil helped bring her siblings to America. In January 2011, Love told the Deseret News that her parents, Jean Maxime and Marie Bourdeau, came to New York in the 1970s, fleeing poverty and looking for a better life. Love said that her parents immigrated legally, but were forced to leave their two young children behind in Haiti because their visa didn’t allow them to bring the kids. But, writes the Deseret News: There was an immigration law in place, however, that would grant the entire family citizenship if Jean Maxine and Mary had a baby in America. But there was a deadline. The law was set to expire on Jan. 1, 1976. On Dec. 6, 1975, with 25 days to spare, Mia was born in a Brooklyn hospital. In no time, her older brother and sister were sent for in Haiti and the family was re-united. Says Mia: “My parents have always told me I was a miracle and our family’s ticket to America.” It’s an uplifting story, but there’s one problem with this account. According to immigration lawyers and US immigration officials, there doesn’t appear to have been a law of the kind described in the article that would have conferred citizenship on Love’s parents, let alone her siblings, by simply having a baby in the United States. Though American immigration law did change in 1976, it merely limited the number of immigrants from the Western Hemisphere who could obtain permanent visas. According to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the law since at least 1924 has barred minor children from petitioning for permanent residence status on their parents’ behalf. Love’s birth in the US couldn’t have helped to reunite her family in America, say immigration lawyers contacted by Mother Jones. And, they add, if the Bourdeaus were in the US legally on a permanent visa, they would have been able to bring the kids, according to the law at the time. In case you’re still wondering if this is really a black woman speaking…check out her shady stances on public funding: -Proposes eliminating the federally subsidized school lunch program and the funding that supports special education in public schools. -Wants to cut the Earned Income Tax Credit in half…keeping millions of working people out of poverty. -Pushing to radically slash housing subsidies that keeps millions of poor people off the streets. Luckily, Mia is trailing behind her opponent by double-digits but her ties to the right are scary. The GOP has given her major funding; $1 million towards the race and Vice Presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.), House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have all held fundraisers for this sellout. Ann Romney offered up an endorsement and her son, Josh Romney, is the chairman of Mia’s campaign. SMH…this broad takes selling out to a whole other level! Images via AP/facebook
We didn’t see this coming! Looks like we were all right when we questioned whether or not this pairing would work out. According to TMZ… Mariah Carey wasted no time proving what we told you 2 weeks ago — there’s only room for one diva on “American Idol.” Carey and Nicki Minaj went at it during the first “A.I.” taping Sunday in NYC. When Nicki started critiquing a contestant, Mariah would interrupt — not once, but many times. Each time Mariah interrupted, Nicki fought back by loudly talking over Mariah. One “A.I.” spy said Mariah and Nicki tried to cover their disdain for each other but everyone saw through it, adding, “These girls just don’t like each other.” You may recall, we reported when producers called Mariah to tell her that Nicki would probably be joining her as a judge, she hung up the phone. Hate to admit it but we’ll be watching this season for the side-eyed glares coming from these two attention slores! LLS Images via WENN/Twitter
Jamaica Offended By Mugabe’s Remarks On People Being Drunk And Lazy Comments by an African leader portraying the men of Jamaica as chronic drunkards and unambitious pot smokers have become the talk of towns across this Caribbean island. People are debating the matter on street corners, in letters to the editor and on radio talk shows. In unscripted asides during a roughly three-hour speech last week at a research exposition, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe said Jamaican “men are always drunk,” have no interest in higher education, and people freely smoke chronic. “The men want to sing and do not go to colleges, some are dreadlocked. Let us not go there,” Mugabe told the crowd at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare. His comments in a mixture of both English and the Shona language were corroborated by The Associated Press after speaking to several reporters who attended the gathering. Over the years, Mugabe has repeatedly made disparaging remarks about dreadlocked Rastafarians, whom he once described as having “moths and mud” in their hair. Rastafarianism, best known for its ritual use of chronic and the dreadlock hair style worn by followers, emerged in Jamaica in the 1930s out of anger over the oppression of blacks. A small minority of Jamaicans are adherents. Glen Harris, a laborer and father of two children, said he felt irritated when he heard about the Zimbabwean president’s chiding remarks on a local radio program. Like the large majority of Jamaica’s population, Harris is black. “This is an African leader talking like this? Black man should stick up for each other. We’re all Africans,” he said on a Kingston street of low-slung concrete buildings and sheet metal fences. Although some foreigners have an image of Jamaica as a laid-back, sun-soaked slice of paradise where unhurried people smoke marijuana without a care, marijuana use is illegal and many islanders are socially conservative churchgoers who quietly endure stereotypes of their country. Still, a few Jamaicans aren’t aggrieved with Mugabe, who received a top government honor during a 1996 visit. They note that their island is the largest producer of marijuana in the Caribbean and that far more women graduate from university than men, and say Mugabe may have a point, even if he was being overly broad by disparaging Jamaican men. “Is President Robert Mugabe really on to something? Certainly, his observation that our ‘universities are full of women’ while our ‘men want to sing and do not go to colleges’ is a truism, which none can deny,” Northern Caribbean University administrator Vincent Peterkin wrote in a letter to the editor of The Jamaica Gleaner newspaper. Jamaican Information Minister Sandrea Falconer said Wednesday that the foreign affairs ministry, led by A.J. Nicholson, was still trying to confirm if Mugabe made the remarks. “I know his ministry is still trying to authenticate the source, and after we will respond,” Falconer said in a brief phone interview. In a written statement, Nicholson stressed that “Jamaican men and women from all walks of life have made valuable contributions to national development and have made their mark on the world stage.” Thoughts?? Apparently someone’s got a BIG head since her Baller Boo fiance Michael Strahan landed his new J.O.B. with Kelly Ripa. According to TMZ… Nicole Murphy has gotten way too big for her britches now that her fiance Michael Strahan snagged the morning show with Kelly Ripa … at least according to her former reps who say she’s acting like a monster, publicly trashing and destroying their business in the process. The ZLP Group has hired a lawyer, who fired off a nasty, threatening letter to Nicole. In the letter — obtained by TMZ — the lawyer claims Nicole has “started rumors, misstatements and misrepresentations” which have defamed the PR group. ZLP’s lawyer, Donald Karpel, says Murphy’s smack talking has destroyed his client’s relationship with QVC, several NYC fashion week designers and a TV show. Karpel promises in the letter he will file a lawsuit against her for breach of contract (allegedly firing the firm without cause) and defamation — based on her “poor conduct.” We called Murphy — so far, no comment. Do you think she’s really been running her mouth?? Images via WENN
