You’ve really gotta admire Brittney Jones. In September, the 21-year old claimed she had an affair with Ashton Kutcher. Such an accusation landed her on the cover of a couple tabloids, but the news never got much traction in the mainstream media. From there, Jones tried to up the infidelity ante, saying Kutcher and Demi Moore had an open marriage; releasing a few racy photos of herself; and then, naturally, getting embroiled in a sex tape “scandal.” None of it caught on, but Brittney isn’t finished yet! She’s now taken the hilarious step of putting a sweater “that was given to me after spending the night with Ashton” on eBay. The initial asking price? $500. Anyone who bids on it might need more mental help than Brittney Jones…

Starring cutie-pie actress Emma Stone and “Gossip Girl” star Penn Badgley, the film revolves around the omnipresent teenage obsession with reputation. Nice girl/ semi-outsider Olive (Stone) makes a deal with a guy friend to pretend to have loud, crazy sex at a house party so the bullies at their high school will think he’s “cool” and leave him alone. But that one good-natured act soon spirals into many more “requests” from other similarly plagued students. Soon the high school rumor mill has been set ablaze with exaggerated accounts of Olive’s alleged exploits. Speaking of rumors, when MTV News caught up with the charming actress to discuss the film, we mentioned that we had heard one ourselves — a little something about Stone hyperventilating during the filming of the hilarious fake sex scene and needing an oxygen tank to recover. “Oh, for the love, I can’t even simulate sex without dying!” Stone jokingly admitted. “I had a little asthma attack, without any prior knowledge that I had asthma, during the scene where we had to jump up and down for hours and hours screaming and yelling on the bed. [It] was humiliating, because it was the second day of shooting,” she explained, adding that her little episode must have made a great impression on the crew. “Here’s what it’s going to be like the whole movie, as I’m breathing into an oxygen tank,” she said. “The crew was like, ‘She’s going to be a real blast. Wow. Amazing. A 20-year-old having an asthma attack.’ ” Fortunately, Stone said that day was the only time she needed any medical attention. Former boxing champion, Englishman Ricky Hatton has been caught on film snorting 7 huge lines of cocaine. Strong rumors persisted about Hatton's, along with fellow countryman, Joe Calzalghe's, involvement with the drug. Calzalghe has recently come clean admitting that he has a problem and has entered a rehabilitation clinic at an unknown location. Hatton, on the other hand is said to be devastated by the now known fact that his drug usage is now on film for the entire world and his fans to see. Halle Berry celebrates a birthday today. The Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, and an NAACP Image Award-winning actress is 44 years young! She is probably best known for Monster’s Ball and other successful films, but she’s also Revlon spokeswoman and was runner-up in a Miss USA pageant (1986). While she and longtime boyfriend Gabriel Aubry broke up in April after almost five years together, the couple has a beautiful daughter, Nahla. Halle has had her critics over the years, but what’s not to love about a talented, beautiful woman who embraces the female form? Not much. Here’s wishing star a happy birthday. The moment everyone has talked about all week – when flight attendant Steven Slater peaced out of a JetBlue flight, and employment with the company, via the aircraft’s inflatable slide – was captured on tape by cameras at JFK. The footage was first obtained by WNBC in New York. Surveillance cameras from the New York airport’s terminal clearly show him bailing on Monday. This hilarious, illegal exit from the plane turned Steven Slater into a household name overnight, and a working class hero or nut job, depending on your point of view. Happy birthday to Tom Cruise, who is kind of the man. Yes, he jumps on couches, gets married a lot and shares opinions on political and social issues that many would consider out of the mainstream. We know this. But what’s really wrong with the guy? He’s been one of Hollywood’s biggest stars for almost three decades and for all the weirdness, is basically harmless. He’s fun, makes cool movies and seems to care most about being a good husband to Katie Holmes and a good dad to kids Isabella, Connor and little Suri. What more can you ask for, really? Tom Cruise is 48 years old today. Man, has the actor ever aged well … in reality, he looks nothing like his hilarious, middle-aged alter ego Les Grossman!
