As previously reported and documented, Justin Bieber is a new path. Yes, at least on an episode of Lip Sync Battle, which premieres tonight on Spike. The new series will be hosted by LL Cool J (with Chrissy Teigen on color commentary) and it will feature Bieber at one point channeling Ozzy Osbourne while performing the rock legend’s 1980 hit “Crazy Train.” He’s got the black wig. He’s got the trenchcoat. He’s got the eye-liner and he definitely has the intensity. Back in February, Spike TV taped 10 episodes of Lip Sync Battle in New York City. Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s awesome segment on The Tonight Show, the program will also feature appearances by Malin Akerman, Dwayne Johnson, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor and many others. In the wake of a controversy over how he misled viewers regarding an incident in the Iraq War, the anchor announced on Saturday that he’s taking a leave of absence from his post. “In the midst of a career spent covering and consuming news, it has become painfully apparent to me that I am presently too much a part of the news, due to my actions,” Williams said via statement. He added: “As Managing Editor of NBC Nightly News, I have decided to take myself off of my daily broadcast for the next several days, and Lester Holt has kindly agreed to sit in for me to allow us to adequately deal with this issue. “Upon my return, I will continue my career-long effort to be worthy of the trust of those who place their trust in us.” The scandal surrounding Williams began during a January 30 broadcast,, when he erroneously claimed his helicopter was hit by a grenade in March 2003 as he covered the Iraq War. Williams apologized on air last Wednesday. Since then, the network has opened an internal investigation into his coverage of the war and other major events, including Hurricane Katrina. Many have called for Williams to be fired as a result of this lie, despite how attractive his daughter is and despite his ability to rap classic singles . “We have a team dedicated to gathering the facts to help us make sense of all that has transpired,” NBC News President Deborah Turness said in a memo on Friday. 17 Lip Dubs We Loves 1. Brian Williams Announces Leave of Absence from NBC Nightly News

Though it’s the front page news in the UK, accusations that Prince Andrew (brother of Charles, Uncle to William and Harry) operated a child sex slave ring haven’t been of much interest to the American press. That may soon change, as Radar Online claims to have obtained an affidavit that names a number of high-powered American men as co-conspirators of Andrew’s, including former US president Bill Clinton. A young woman named Virginia Roberts claims to have been an underage prostitute who worked for Andrew and his friends for several years. In 2011, she stated that she had met Clinton during this time, but was never, in her words, “lent out” to him. Even so, it’s being reported that in recently filed court documents, Roberts states that she believes Clinton should be prosecuted for his involvement with Prince Andrew’s “child sex slave” ring: Roberts says she met Clinton in the US Virgin Islands when she was under the age of 18. She specifies that the former president never had sex with her or saw her have sex with anyone else, yet she considers him to be complicit in her victimization nonetheless: “If Clinton flew to an island where minors were being sexually molested, and did not report this to authorities, he could have committed a criminal offense,” Roberts allegedly says in her affidavit. Roberts statement is part of plea to authorities to pursue charges against Clinton, as well as several other men, including prominent attorney and Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz has denied that he ever met Roberts and insists that Clinton “never set foot” on Andrew’s island. Clinton has yet to respond himself, but even if nothing comes of the charges, Roberts’ claims could well prove damaging. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign is just beginning in earnest, and another Clinton sex scandal could torpedo her shot tt the White House right out of the gate. 15 Celebrity Scandals That Rocked 2014 1. Oscar De La Renta Dies At 82 Fashion icon and favorite among many entertainment heavy hitters, Oscar de la Renta, has passed away. Via ABCnews : Legendary fashion designer Oscar de la Renta has died, a family member told ABC News. He was 82. De la Renta, who most recently designed Amal Clooney’s wedding dress, was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. Born in the Dominican Republic in 1932, de la Renta left home at 18 to study painting in Madrid. It was there he developed a love of fashion design and began an apprenticeship with Cristóbal Balenciaga, who became his mentor, and then, landed a job with Lanvin in Paris. He made his name in the early 1960s when first lady Jaqueline Kennedy frequently wore his designs, and launched his own label in the mid-1960s. Since Kennedy, first ladies Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush all frequently wore de la Renta gowns. Sad day for many fashion fanatics. R.I.P.
