Saturday Night Live Takes on Sean Spicer and Jeff Sessions in Hilarious Opening!

These are dark times, friends, and there's no denying that. But while these are dark times – maybe even the darkest, who knows? – we also have quite a few rays of light to carry us through. One of those rays is Saturday Night Live and the brilliant work they've been doing with mocking and belittling the complete and utter mess that is the U.S. government these days. And last night, they really went for it. For the opening, we were treated to a hilarious reprisal of  Melissa McCarthy's impression of Sean Spicer , Donald Trump's press secretary. She was loud, unnecessarily aggressive, obnoxious – just like the real Sean Spicer! – in a skit that may have even topped last week's Another highlight of the skit was Kate McKinnon's simply incredible impression of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Sessions' brief interlude during Spicer's news conference sadly didn't last too long before he started getting racist, so he had to leave. The whole thing is even more delightful when you remember that last week, we heard a report that  Trump didn't appreciate Melissa's version of Spicer because “Trump doesn't like his people to look weak.” And he looked weak, naturally, because he was played by a woman. So with Melissa coming back as Spicer, plus Kate's debut as Sessions, the White House crew must not be too happy right now. McKinnon also played Elizabeth Warren and, in a controversial turn, a deranged Kellyanne Conway in a Fatal Attraction-esque skit last night. All that was missing was her classic portrayal of Hillary Clinton as a workaholic cyborg, but Kate has been on fire these days. Keep up the good fight, Saturday Night Live . Donald Trump Loses Muslim Ban Appeal: Twitter Reacts!

When elected President, Donald Trump claimed that America would win so often that citizens would grow sick of winning.  To date, however, Trump has lost twice in key court rulings. On Thursday night, San Francisco’s 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the suspension of the President's travel ban, which prevented people from seven mostly Muslim nations from entering the United States. The three judges, a mixture of Democrats and Republicans, voted unanimously against the administration. And, as you'll see below, Hollywood was nearly unanimous in its response to this legal decision… 1. Donald Trump SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE! 2. Hillary Clinton 3-0. 3. Michael Moore A victory against hate. Appeals Court rules against Trump. His Muslim Ban can not be enforced for the time being. 4. Debra Messing TRUMP LOSES. Reinstatement of the ban is DENIED by Court. 5. Josh Gad Always good 2 end my day w/ a solid bitch slap. I can sleep soundly knowing Trump is now throwing Jane Adams vases across the WH dining room. 6. Judd Apatow Oh shit— he is using caps! Someone explained the caps lock to our so called President baby. View Slideshow

Kanye West: I’m Not Down With Donald Trump Anymore!

From the time he famously declared that George W. Bush “doesn’t care about black people” during a live telecast, Kanye West has never shied away from the political arena. But that doesn’t mean Yeezy’s stuck with a single party or ideology over the years. Far from it. In fact, Kanye’s politics have been as unpredictable as his personal life, and he’s frequently stunned fans with unexpected displays of loyalty – such as when he visited Donald Trump at his eponymous tower during his controversial transition process. It wasn’t terribly shocking that these two would be able to find common ground. After all, in future dictionaries we’ll probably see their photos flaking the word “egomaniac.” It was surprising, however, that Kanye would be willing to publicly endorse such a controversial political figure, particularly when so much of Trump’s agenda seems to run counter to Kanye’s beliefs. The move was especially unexpected considering Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, was a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election. There was some serious blowback from the visit, and it often felt that Kanye was the only one who didn’t see that coming. The rapper seemed taken aback by the response from fans, and he made a half-hearted attempt at damage control on Twitter: “I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change,” Kanye tweeted.  “These issues include bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.” Fans weren’t having it, and now that Trump has started pursuing the destructive policies that everyone who was paying attention saw coming, it seems Kanye has finally realized this isn’t a reality show. West has deleted all of his Trump-related tweets, and it’s widely believed that he either took issue with the president’s controversial Muslim ban , or bowed to pressure from his more left-leaning in-laws. Many have called attention to the fact that Kanye’s move comes shortly after a surprisingly woke Kim spoke out against the ban with tweets like the one above. We can only hope someone in Kanye’s life rewarded him with some leather sweatpants or a $5,000 threadbare sweatshirt for finally realizing that Trump is like Bush with the bigotry turned up to 11. Hopefully Trump will re-examine his views in light of this development. When even Kanye thinks you’re crazy, something is seriously wrong. View Slideshow: 45 Kute and Kuddly Kimye Photos

Ashley Judd: Watch, React to Her "Nasty Woman" Poem!

In case you did not have access to the television, a radio or the Internet today, allow us to be the first to tell you: A lot of men and women marched against Donald Trump, his personality and his politics on Saturday. According to various estimates, over 750,000 people protested in Los Angeles… over 500,000 in Washington D.C… over 250,000 in Chicago. And so on and so forth. A number of these protestors were celebrities . And the celebrity who has received the most attention as a result of her appearance in D.C. was Ashley Judd. And that's because Judd used Trump's own two words (courtesy of an insult her hurled during a debate at Hillary Clinton) against him. “I am a feminist…I am a nasty woman,” Judd declared in her reading of a poem by Nina Donovan, 19-year old from Tennessee. The message went on to paints a harsh portrait of Trump's America, awash in corruption, chauvinism and racism. “I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag. And I didn't know devils could be resurrected but I feel Hitler in these streets. A mustache traded for a toupee,” Judd continued. “I am not as nasty as racism, fraud, conflict of interest, homophobia, sexual assault, transphobia, white supremacy, misogyny ignorance… “We are not here to be debunked. We are here to be respected. We are here to be nasty. I'm nasty, like my blood stains on my bedsheets,” It kept going from there. WATCH AND REACT BELOW:

Donald Trump: Will He Be a Good President?

Forget the fact that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a wide margin. Forget whether or not FBI Director James Comey was blackmailed by members of the Republican Party. Forget the intelligence that has proven Russia hacked into our democracy with the goal of helping Donald Trump become President of the United States. All that matters now is this: Donald Trump is the President of the United States. (Editor’s note: The intelligence community and various government agencies should clearly not forget point number-three above. Every aspect of this breach of security must be investigated in full.) Trump took the Presidential oath on Friday afternoon and then delivered his inaugural address . He is now Commander-in-Chief. He is the leader of the free world. He is the man in charge for the next four years, at minimum. So questions about Russian interference and legitimacy and even proper versus improper use of Twitter can be placed aside for a moment. This is time for the country to come together and answer the only question that really matters at the moment: What kind of President will Donald Trump be? On one hand, we have every reason to fear for our lives. Literally, some might argue. Trump has wondered why nuclear weapons aren’t used more often. He has threatened China. He has used his position to trash politicians and insult anyone who doesn’t agree with him. The guy trusts Breitbart News more than The New York Times. He has shown no real understanding of foreign affairs and even chosen not to attend intelligent briefings in the run-up to his Presidency. For months now, Trump has seemed more interested in campaigning, in soaking up the adulation of his supporters, than in actually running the country. He lies so, so, so, so, so very often. So it’s understandable why such a significant portion of the population cannot fathom a circumstance in which Trump is an effective President. View Slideshow: Donald Trump Becomes President: Celebrities React! On the other hand, Trump is not beholden to any member of his party. He did not rely on traditional Republican support throughout his campaign, often ignoring advice and doing everything in his own, bombastic way. He speaks his mind. He is not intimidated by anyone. He can use these traits to take stances on populist issues that the typical politician would never touch (such as gun control). There’s no question that Washington is overrun by lobbyists and by the influence of corporate America, as Trump so often asserted from the very beginning of his campaign. If he wanted to be that person, Trump could actually drain the swamp. He could make sweeping changes as the powerful, confident outsider he claims to be. Of course… he’s thus far nominated a cabinet that’s comprised of nearly all billionaires and/or ex-Goldman Sachs employees. Did you see the answers Betsy DeVos gave in her confirmation hearing for the position of Secretary of Education?!? This is the person Trump thinks should be in charge of our children’s future. So he isn’t off to a great start in this regard. Donald Trump Inauguration Speech But the Trump Presidency begins NOW. Will you give him a chance? Has he not earned any kind of chance? Are you scared about the future or cowering in the corner over what it might entail/ In short, sound off below: WILL DONALD TRUMP BE A GOOD PRESIDENT? Yes, America will soon be great again! What?!? No. Let’s give him a chance and find out. View Poll »
