Was anyone else on the edge of their seat with excitement during last night’s Miss USA competition? They were all so beautiful, I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite. Alright so I didn’t care who won, I was just interested in seeing some hot chicks in bikinis and high heels, it just looks so classy, but I watched it none the less. Anyhow, the winner was Olivia Culpo and as part of her first duties as the new Miss USA , she had to make an appearance on HollywoodTuna . Welcome to the big time princess.

I’m not sure if Paris Hilton is relevant anymore, or ever really was for that matter, but I’ve always had a little thing for her so I’m posting these pictures anyway. I’m sure she still gets paid pretty well to show up at these douche parties and make pouty faces on the red carpet for five minutes. Before heading home to count her cash. Here she is doing just that last night in her yellow dress. I don’t know or care what silly party this is, but she’s doing her best to show off some cleavage so who cares. Although, I think this is more chest bone than cleavage. Still counts.
Celebrity-gossip blogger skirts addressing Lohan’s alleged unprofessionalism while shooting this week’s ‘Nationals’ episode. By John Mitchell, with reporting by Audrey Kim Lindsay Lohan on “Glee” Photo: Adam Rose/ FOX Celebrity-gossip blogger Perez Hilton guest stars on this week’s big “Nationals” episode of “Glee,” but was uncharacteristically reluctant to address the rumors of fellow guest star Lindsay Lohan’s alleged on-set misbehavior when MTV News caught up with him at Wango Tango in Los Angeles this weekend. “I’m on ‘Nationals,’ a very important episode, and Lindsay Lohan is also on this episode,” Hilton told MTV News. “And it’s a nail-biter. Everybody has to watch.” When the conversation turned to allegations that Lohan was hours late to set and was difficult once she finally arrived, Hilton chose his words very carefully, turning the conversation back to himself — and in so doing, seemed to imply that Lohan was not at her professional best. Asked about talk of Lohan’s misbehavior, Hilton said, ” I showed up to set early and prepared and was very happy to be there and professional, excited and appreciative for the opportunity.” Rumors of on-set trouble erupted April 25, when actress Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on the Fox hit, tweeted about an unnamed person’s late arrival to set, causing delays in filming. “Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things,” Jones reportedly tweeted. “Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!” Jones’ tweet has since been deleted. Regarding Lohan’s alleged tardiness, the actress’ rep, Steve Honig, told E! News that there was a mixup with her call time, and said any claims of problems on the “Glee” set are “utter B.S.” “This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today,” he continued. Like Hilton, Lohan appears as herself on the episode. There was a time when 24-year-old Louis Johnson was just making music for fans within his native city’s borders, but in the past year, the Eastside Chi-town MC has seen his name spread like wildfire. A well-timed Kanye West plug only fanned the flames. “I was coming from the dentist, he had gave me all those meds, so I was kinda out of whack,” Louie told Mixtape Daily of when he first heard Yeezy name-check him on the G.O.O.D. Music remix to Chief Keef’s underground riot starter “I Don’t Like.” “Shout-out to L.E.P., J Boogie, right?/ Chief Keef, King Louie, this is Chi, right?” ‘Ye spits on the souped-up remix, which hit the Web last week on May 1. “It was crazy, because you don’t think them type of guys on that level hear your music just coming from the hood,” Louie said of his surprise during an L.A. interview three days after the song dropped. Though Louie plays humble, it has been increasingly difficult to ignore his musical output. His 2011 track “Too Cool” has been consistently buzzing thanks to its infectious hook and polished music video. It also doesn’t hurt that he joined forces with Kanye’s former manager John Monopoly about eight months ago. Now, Louie is signed to independent label Lawless Inc. and continues to pump out street-inspired, hard-hitting, dope-boy music. His latest mixtape, Motion Picture, serves as an appetizer for his upcoming album, Dope & Shrimp . Lou was about 16 years old when he first started hitting the recording studio. He started taking rap seriously after he got kicked out of high school. Now KL is part of a budding Chicago music scene that includes Chief Keef, Rockie Fresh, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, YP and Def Jam’s latest signees Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Reese . “The music scene is crazy. It’s younger and energetic. … It’s fun again,” Louie said of his city’s new crop of spitters. King Louie is particularly proud that he has had a hand in influencing a lot of Chi’s new talent: He and 16-year-old Keef are frequent collaborators. “Makes me feel like I did something right for my peers,” he said. Now that rap’s spotlight is shining on him and his team, King Louie doesn’t plan to let up his verbal assault any time soon. Next up is Dope & Shrimp, a title Louie said he chose because all he does is “smoke dope and eat shrimp.” “It’s more mature; you can tell that I’m growing,” he explained. “You can hear the growth and development in my craft. ‘I almost don’t want to applaud him too much, because I wish he would have done this a long time ago,’ blogger tells MTV News. With all the overwhelming enthusiasm for the president’s announcement, there is also cautious optimism on the subject, given the issue’s continued hot-button status in pop culture, as well as around the nation. Perez Hilton is a public figure who counts himself among the cautiously optimistic, mostly because the issue is so loaded and political. “It was definitely happy news, but I almost don’t want to applaud him too much, because I wish he would have done this a long time ago,” Hilton told MTV News. “Having said that, it’s better that he did it than not. He could have waited until after the election. However, it’s clearly a calculated move in that he felt confident that this won’t hurt his chances at getting re-elected, and that’s why he did it.” Hilton went on to say that he will happily applaud the president for his actions, but not too loudly. “He’s still playing a [political] game, it is what it is, and it’s still something that is positive and a step in the right direction,” he said. “I think it’s ultimately a self-defeating fight, because gay marriage is a given. It’s going to happen, it’s just a question of how soon and, of course, as a gay man and someone who believes in equal rights for all, I would rather it happen sooner rather than later.” Speaking to the involvement of Hollywood — and, more specifically, the news that “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy announced Thursday (May 10) his plans to host a fundraiser for Obama during his visit to Los Angeles — Hilton emphasized the fact that same-sex marriage is an issue that everyone should be talking about and aware of, not just celebrities. “I think Hollywood is great — I’m part of it — but I also feel like same-sex marriage and quality is an issue that is important everywhere,” he said. “I think an everyday person can be just as or more effective in creating change than celebrities. It is important to have people in Hollywood to talk about it, important for people to be out of the closet, important to have represented in the media, but it’s just as powerful for everybody to do their part. There are a lot more famous people than non-famous people. “Obviously, I think [Obama] has done great work,” Hilton continued. “My biggest wish for this country is in 20 years we have a viable at least four-party system. People need more options than just a Democratic candidate and a Republican candidate. I wish we had four great candidates from different parties to choose from. It’s time to change the way things work. It’s been this way for so long. It needs to evolve and grow.
