Birdman Sues Tidal For $50 Million Over Wayne’s Music Apparently trying to have Lil Wayne killed wasn’t enough. Birdman is obviously extra salty about Wayne’s split from Cash Money. Now, he’s going after Wayne’s new “Daddy” Jay Z to recoup his losses… Via TMZ : Birdman is going after Jay Z in court, claiming Jay is a failure at music streaming and is illegally using Lil Wayne to save his business. Birdman’s company, Cash Money, is suing Tidal for streaming songs from Lil Wayne’s album ‘FWA’ … suing for $50 MILLION. Cash Money claims it has exclusive rights to Wayne’s music and Tidal is an illegal intermeddler. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, gets nasty, with Cash Money claiming Jay Z’s fledgling company is now resorting to “a desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service.” According to the lawsuit, Tidal has claimed Cash Money does not have a exclusive lock on Wayne … Tidal claims Wayne specifically gave it the right to stream his music, in return for part ownership in the company. Cash Money begs to differ, and the company quotes portions of its contract with Lil Wayne in the lawsuit. The contract specifically says Wayne does not have the power to license his music to anyone else. And get this … Cash Money trashes Wayne’s ‘FWA’ album, saying it got “tepid reviews” and could hurt Cash Money’s attempts to exploit Wayne’s music. SMH! Baby just won’t let Weezy go. Wife of Slain Rapper Addresses Him Stepping Out During Their 13 Year Relationship The wife of murdered up and coming rapper Chinx Drugz has had enough of the public scrutiny of her marriage and her hubby’s affairs. “I DO NOT CARE ABOUT MALIKA, ERICA MENA OR ANYYYY (sic) OTHER CHICK THAT HAD ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH MY HUSBAND!!!!” Janelli Caceres wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday. “ I am mourning the loss of my husband, trying to find his killer, preparing my kids for the worst and planning a fckn funeral I’m not worried bout the stupid s**t!!” Almost immediately after Lionel “Chinx Drugz” Perkins was murdered over the weekend, rumors swirled that the Coke Boyz member had a number of relationships outside of his long-term union with Caceres. Reality stars Malika Haqq and Erica Mena tweeted about being close to Chinx, which prompted speculation Chinx had affairs with both of them, as well as others. The mom of three admitted that Chinx had groupies, but she said none of them were there to help her with his funeral or raise their kids. “At the end of the day those woman (sic) will move on n forget him by next week me n my children will be affected by this for the rest of our lives!!,” she wrote. “As a mother I’m focusing on raising 3kids (sic) alone that’s all!!! These woman didn’t have no relevance before and they won’t have it now!!” Caceres said it was she —not anyone else—that cooked, cleaned, raised his children and supported him. She said he couldn’t live without her and she can’t live without him. “I did everything for that man I handled everything in his life we weren’t separated we went thru s**t like ever (sic) other couple who cares!!!,” Caceres wrote. The wife revealed that she had to pick out Chinx’s casket Tuesday, and said she’s more focused on burying her man and being there for their children than answering questions about her private life. “So plz for anyone who thinks they got it figured out make yourself useful for once n send ya respects not shade,” Caceres wrote, “help us find his killer or donate to his kids future since yah care so much.”

Madonna Disses Drake For Coachella Kiss Madonna is still feeling some type of way about Drake looking less-than-thrilled about her Coachella slob-down a few weeks back. While fielding fan questions during a Saturday night U-Stream, Madonna touched on the subject of THAT KISS a few times — shading Drake as much as possible over what she said was something he “begged” her to do. Around the 2:15 mark, Madonna answers what she calls the “million dollar question.” “Is Drake a good Kisser? I kissed a girl, and I liked it.” But, she wasn’t done there. She also threw Drake’s name into a totally unrelated question. Lil Wayne Sues Birdman To End Cash Money Contract Welp, it’s been on the way for weeks , but now it’s official. After rumors have swirled that Lil Wayne’s media tantrum over unfair treatment at the hands of his “Daddy” Birdman would turn into a vicious legal battle , the paperwork has been finally been filed and “father and son” will soon face each other in court. Via TMZ : Lil Wayne has made good on his promise to go after Cash Money … because he’s filed a lawsuit asking a judge to end his contract with Birdman’s label. According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Wayne says Birdman and company violated the deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, “Tha Carter V.” Wayne claims because Cash Money is refusing to pay, he’s entitled to walk. But Lil Wayne wants more than just a declaration of freedom. He’s suing for $51 MILLION. And Wayne wants the judge to declare he’s the joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings … which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj and several others. Sources connected to Wayne tell TMZ … if Birdman antes up then he can release “Tha Carter V,” but only if Wayne gets paid. Wayne says he was supposed to get an $8 million advance when he began recording in December, 2013 and another 2M when he completed the album a year later, but so far he’s gotten nothing. It will be pretty interesting to see how this pans out….
