Beyoncé And Jay Z’s 10 Year Anniversary Has Us IMPATIENTLY Waiting For A Collab Album To Drop

Jay Z And Beyoncé’s 10’s Anniversary Has Fans Waiting For Music The number 4 has always had a lot of meaning in the relationship between Beyoncé and Jay Z , and April 4th marks the couple’s 10 year wedding anniversary. Fans have been speculating that the couple is going to drop a new album before they kick off the 2nd iteration of their On The Run Tour in June–and even more recently, the Beyhive has been keen to the rumor that Bey will release a new solo album before her headlining performance at Coachella next weekend. These rumors became especially pertinent when whisperings of 11-hour rehearsal days for said performance surfaced, because such practice wouldn’t be necessary for old material. Beyoncé wouldn’t need 11 hours to rehearse the same End of Time stomp she been doing since Revel. New music CONFIRMED wig outgoing https://t.co/yeHt7IO38g — THE HOOD ORACLE (@MADBLACKTHOT) April 3, 2018 With those rumors ablaze, fans were going strong on Tuesday hoping for a Bey and Hov collab album to drop at midnight, seeing as it’s a celebration of their 10 years of faithf…well, 10 years of marriage. Midnight came and went on both coasts, and we haven’t been gifted with any new Beyoncé songs–but the hive will always keep hope alive. Take a look at how people on Twitter are reacting to the idea of Beyoncé possibly releasing music before next weekend. Isn’t tomorrow Beyoncé and Jay Z’s 10 year anniversary? Ooooh, I Can’t Believe It: T-Pain Launches Wiscansin University Merch Along With A Fake School Website

T-Pain’s Latest Merch Is 10 Years In The Making It’s hard to believe T-Pain’s 2008 track with Lil Wayne, “Can’t Believe It,” is already a decade old. On the track, T-Pain famously rhymed “mansion” with “Wiscansin,” and changed the entire game, along with the English language. Wiscansin clearly isn’t a “real” word…or place, rather, but the location now has real merchandise and a fake university to go along with the infamous lyric. On Friday, Mr. Pain announced a line of new clothing, and proceeded to launch the fake Wiscansin University,  complete with a website –their slogan is very punnily, “taking the Pain out of college.” The seven-piece collection of Wiscansin merchandise consists of two t-shirts, two hoodies, a fitted hat and a coffee mug. Each of the pieces feature the word Wiscansin across the front in red, while the mug reads, “This is some bulls**t.” The site looks like any real college site, and features an alumni page that includes Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Flo-Rida, Kanye West and Wale—of course, all of these are artists who have collaborated with Tallahassee Pain. You can pick yourself up a Wiscanson tee here , and check out the hilarious video Pain posted on Instagram to announce the launch of the merch below.

Author Marcus J. Moore Is Turning Kendrick Lamar’s Impact On Black America Into A Book

Christopher Polk/Getty Images for NARAS Kendrick Lamar’s Rise To Fame Is The Basis For New Biography Kendrick Lamar has been a staple in the rap game for years now, but following his recent rise to super stardom, his impact on hip-hop is completely undeniable. It’s only right that the Compton rapper’s effect on culture be officially documented, and a book on Lamar’s lasting imprint is coming soon. Written by author Marcus J. Moore, the book is going to be titled  The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America . Moore announced the upcoming book on his Twitter account on Thursday, happily sharing the news of his new project. He wrote, “Some big news I’ve been eager to share: I’ve signed with @TouchstoneBooks to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. My book, ‘The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America,’ will detail his rise to rap superstardom.” Some big news I've been eager to share: I've signed with @TouchstoneBooks to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. Moore (@MarcusJMoore) March 22, 2018 The book is not only going to be a biography on the rapper’s life, but also appears to be a cultural biography, which will document Kung Fu Kenny’s effect on Black people and Black culture since he came into the music game. There’s no word on when this book is going to hit shelves or if Moore has even started writing the biography yet, but let’s hope we get ahold of this thing sooner than later. If you’re a fan of Kendrick, hip hop, or culture in general, this upcoming project sounds like a must-read.

Source: Raymond Boy / Getty Sad news this Tuesday morning. The NY Daily News reports that original Bad Boy MC Craig Mack died of heart failure in a Walterboro, SC hospital at 46. Mack’s hit “Flava In Ya Ear” helped spark Bad Boy’s 90’s dominance, but he left the game in the mid-1990’s and slept a low profile in South Carolina until his passing. NOT CRAIG MACK. Another icon gone too soon.
