Ummm, Ok: Joseline Hernandez Has Some Advice For Missy Elliot

Excerpt from:

Source: Cindy Ord/BET / Getty   Missy Elliott has been one of the biggest names in music for almost 25 years, but for some reason, Joseline Hernandez still felt the need to give the vet some advice from her 5 years in the game. Misdemeanor took to Instagram to share some positive food for thought about keeping one’s circle small and surrounding yourself with supportive people. Apparently the Puerto Rican Princess missed the message and decided to share what was on her heart. Joseline commented on Missy’s post, “Sis get rid of Mona.”   Along with the late great Chris Lighty, Mona Scott-Young use to manage many hip hop acts, including Missy Elliott, way before her days as Love & Hip Hop HBIC. No word on whether or not she still manages Missy, but rumors were swirling that the two had a private relationship before. Was Joseline trying to tell us, and Missy something? Hit the flip to see what Mona has to say about her relationship with Missy Elliott.

The two of them had a massive influence in the way trap music came out in the mid-2000’s and are two figures that undoubtedly had an influence on the current generation of hip hop, period. Now, back in 2014, the two of them announced they’d be dropping a collaborative project together titled  Dope Boy Academy . While they promised it’s release, it hasn’t seen the light of day. Not that we could really blame them, the two have been busy on their own careers. However,  T.I.  and Jeezy are still gunning to drop the project. RELATED:   T.I. Like Clockwork: Flavor Flav Is Back To Host A New Las Vegas Variety Show

Judy Eddy/WENN.com Flavor Flav Is Hosting A New Variety Show Though he’s been keeping a fairly low profile for the past few years, Flavor Flav is looking to get back in the entertainment world, which he’s done successfully by announcing the development of his new Las Vegas-based variety show. Named  Flavor Flav’s Vegas, the program   will feature the Public Enemy rapper interviewing celebrities, participating in comedy sketches and listening to the sweet sounds of some dope musical guests. Flav said about the upcoming show, “I always dreamed of being a variety show host, and I think it’s about time. And Las Vegas needs a talk show. I want to be the one to bring Vegas its first real live talk show. It won’t just be me interviewing guests, but also I’m going to have a variety of people coming through my show that are in movies, television, etc.” The variety show seems to be in pretty good hans, as it will be directed by Leon Knowles–previously known for working on the  Arsenio Hall Show, The Talk, Last Comic Standing  and  America’s Got Talent.  Grammy-winning Teddy Riley will serve as the music director for the series. This definitely isn’t the only trick Flav has up his sleeve, either. The rapper is joining an all-star cast for the augmented reality component to  Master of the Sun – The Zombie Chronicles,  a Marvel Comics graphic novel. The voice cast, in addition to Mr. Flav,  also features Stan Lee, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Rosario Dawson.

Is Playboi Carti Milly Rocking Blac Chyna’s Crunchy Peanut Butter Cakes To A Powder?

WENN.com Are Playboi Carti And Blac Chyna Together? Word on the street is that the newest couple in hip hop is an unexpected one: Blac Chyna and Playboi Carti. The 29-year-old mother of two is said to be coupled up with the 21-year-old “Magnolia” rapper, and the two have been flaunting their escapades on social media for the past few days. Guess ole girl likes her boys young, huh? Chyna and her old rumored boo Mechie were thought to have broken up in September when the two unfollowed each other on social media, but it looks like Dream’s mama moved on pretty quickly. Mechie was already 5 years younger than Blac, and now she’s moved onto an even younger thang to live her best life with. Okkkkkay then, Chy. Who knows it these two are actually in a relationship or if they’re just looking for a little social media attention, but we’re sure there will be more posts in the future if the two really are together. This definitely seems like an unexpected couple, but Playboi Carti is a rapper from Atlanta, so it’s not completely off from who we’ve seen Chyna with before. Source: Hill Street Studios / Getty You can never go wrong when you mix hip hop and education. Sixth grade teacher Terrance Sims was well aware of that fact when he started using hip hop to get his students excited for class. Sims told The Shade Room, “ I use hip-hop to engage my students academically. This song originally was to get our new 6th graders pumped for the new year and it kept picking up steam to be what it is right now. We will continue making videos using hip hop to encourage academic achievement.” Check out these amazing sixth graders dropping quality bars about their academics to Tee Grizzley ‘s “First Day Out”.
