But… there was never a full recognition of the connection… until Keith Tucker launched the Hip Hop Green Dinners, which promotes a vegan diet through hip-hop culture. During the past six years his organization has turned the Hip Hop Green Dinner into an experience that engages and motivates young people and their families to make healthy lifestyle choices. To date, the organization has served more than 1,500 youth and their families delicious vegan meals. [ Madamenoire ] Ebola Vaccine Trial “100%” Successful In Guinea, Says World Health Organization The first trial of an Ebola vaccine in Guinea was “100 percent” successful, the World Health Organization said in a news release [July 31st]… Reports BBC News: There were no proven drugs or vaccines against the virus at the start of the largest outbreak of Ebola in history, which began in Guinea in December 2013. The World Health Organization (WHO) said the findings, being published in the Lancet, could be a “game-changer”. Experts said the results were “remarkable”. This trial centred on the VSV-EBOV vaccine, which was started by the Public Health Agency of Canada and then developed by the pharmaceutical company Merck.
