While fans of Justin Bieber are cheering this singer’s release from a Miami jail , following last Thursday’s arrest for drunk driving, others are trying to take action against the artist. They want him deported back to Canada! And Drake Bell is leading the charge. The young singer – who believes Bieber is a little sh-t , who thinks Justin paid Lil Za to take a drug possession rap in his place this month and who has labeled Beliebers as insane – is helping to promote a petition on the White House website that aims to revoke Justin’s green card. It actually has over 46,000 signatures at the moment and it says the pop star is “not only threatening the safety of our people, [but is also] a terrible influence on our nation’s youth.” Bell added to his list of Bieber slams last week when he Tweeted in response to the star’s arrest: “Arrested,vandalized property in multiple countries,Egged a house, busted for drugs, and he still gets endorsements!!” He then Tweeted a link to the aforementioned petition and urged followers to “become a part of the movement!!!” The full petition reads: We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society. What do YOU think? We always knew there was a resemblance, but wow. Just … wow. This hilarious, seizure-inducing GIF of the Justin Bieber mug shot morphing into Miley Cyrus’ face might be the best thing to come out of this week’s scandal. Maybe it’s just that the photos are similarly proportioned or that both stars appear super happy in them … but these two young ladies look an awful lot alike : Look at those piercing eyes, those million-dollar smiles and those awkward hairstyles. It’s as if they were two identical twin girls switched at birth. Uncanny. Ironically, given the way people treat her like the anti-christ, Miley Cyrus has managed to stay out of jail and (relatively) scandal free in her personal life. Her song “We Can’t Stop” is about taking Molly, and for that she’s been criticized plenty, but there’s little to suggest that she has substance abuse issues. Or any other issues. Justin Bieber has been arrested following an incident early this morning, according to multiple reports. It was really just a matter of time, wasn’t it? Following a scandal-filled two weeks in which he egged his neighbor’s home … watched his best friend get arrested for drug possession… urinated his initials in the Colorado snow… and dropped 75K at a strip club , the singer’s wild behavior landed him in the slammer. The singer was booked on charges of DUI and drag racing in Miami, Fla. According to TMZ and its sources, the incident went down early this morning and Bieber is currently in jail and having his blood-alcohol level tested there. The singer allegedly failed a field sobriety test after being pulled over in a yellow Lamborghini for drag racing through the streets of the South Florida city. He had a model named Chantel in the passenger seat and had just left SET nightclub. Sources say that Bieber will soon be processed and released on bail after a judge sets an amount during a court hearing later today. UPDATE: Bieber has also been charged with resisting arrest in non-violent fashion. As fans and celebrity gossip readers know, the troubled 19-year-old has been accused of reckless driving on numerous occasions over the years. He has been cited for speeding and gotten into many arguments with neighbors who continually urge him to slow down due to kids playing in the area. But TMZ claims Justin made time for some other ladies last night, hitting up the King of Diamonds strip club in honor of Lil Scrappy’s birthday. Man Steals Brains And Sells Them On eBay According to Indy Star: The details sound like the plot of a bad horror movie: Desperate for cash, a young man breaks into a warehouse to steal the brains of dead mental patients, and the body parts are later sold on eBay. This story line, however, is real. Authorities say David Charles, a 21-year-old Indianapolis resident, is accused of breaking into the Indiana Medical History Museum multiple times this year and stealing jars of human brain tissue and other preserved material. A tipster who paid hundreds of dollars on the online auction site helped bring the organ entrepreneurism to an end. The museum, 3045 W. Vermont St., is the site of the former Central State Hospital, which served patients with psychiatric and mental disorders from 1848 to 1994. Indianapolis police had investigated several break-ins at the museum’s storage facility before a California phone call led police to Charles. A San Diego man who had bought six jars of human brain tissue off eBay for $600, plus $70 shipping, called the museum after noticing labels on the containers and suspecting some kind of skulduggery, according to court documents. Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department used that tip to trace the transactions, eventually speaking to the eBay seller who provided the brain tissue to the San Diego man. That seller had obtained the brain matter from Charles, police said. Police set up a sting on Dec. 16. The eBay middleman arranged a meeting in the parking lot of a Southside Dairy Queen with Charles, who the day before stole 60 jars of human tissue from the museum, according to authorities and court documents. Charles faces charges of theft, sticky icky possession and paraphernalia possession, according to court documents. Investigators also are looking into the possibility of additional charges, said A.J. GOP Senator Likens Limited Authority Of Senate Minority To Slavery The Republicans have whining their complaints about how less-than-pleased they are with President Obama’s latest judicial and executive nominees, but one GOP Senator took it too far when he recently compared their lack of power to reject the nominations to slavery in the 1800s. via Think Progress Sen. Mike Johanns (R-NE), joining a parade of Republican Senators angry that a minority of Senators can no longer obstruct President Obama’s judicial and executive nominees, took to the Senate floor Friday to compare his caucus’ plight to that of abolitionists in the 1800s — a comparison that probably would have shocked abolitionists from the 1800s. Indeed, for much of the Nineteenth Century, the Senate’s anti-majoritarian design played a crucial role in thwarting efforts by abolitionists to eliminate the South’s “peculiar institution.” He had this to say: They can appoint the entire judiciary of the United States in the District Courts and in the Circuit Courts with absolutely no involvement whatsoever from the minority. None. That’s what their rule change did. Let me take that rule change and think out loud about where we put ourselves as a country. I wonder who was the first United States Senator in our history who came to the floor and said, “My fellow Senators, I have thought about this, I have contemplated it, maybe I have even prayed about it. And I believe the day has arrived to end slavery in the United States. And I will be attaching an amendment to every bill to end that horrific practice. All the havoc that the shady GOP has wreaked for the duration of President Obama’s time in office and they have the nerve to whine about not getting their way and liken it to slavery? These douche bags just don’t quit. SMH!
