Stef Dawson has joined the cast of The Hunger Games. The Australian actress will come on board the final two installments of this blockbuster franchise as Annie Cresta, the District 4 Victor and love interest of Sam Claflin’s Finnick Odair. Dawson is the second actress in the past couple weeks to be named to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, as Natalie Dormer is signed up to portray the rebellious Cressida in the movies that are scheduled for release in late 20125 and 2016, respectively. Mockingjay will be directed by Francis Lawrence and – SPOILER ALERT! – follow Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, who leads a rebellion against the corrupt Capitol its leaders. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves with this casting news. Long before Mockingjay hits theaters, Catching Fire will come out on November 22, 2013. We cannot wait.
Amanda Seyfried doesn’t believe in trusting her heart. When considering whether or not she has a future with a member of the opposite sex, the actress tells the latest issue of Elle : “Everybody I’ve dated I’ve been sexually attracted to immediately. Sparks don’t grow – your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.” Well… alright then! Seyfried has sex on the mind these days because she is starring as Linda Lovelace in Lovelace (watch the Lovelace trailer now!), a biopic of the famous porn star. “I read the script and I was like, ‘Wow, this is the riskiest thing that’s happening [in Hollywood] right now,'” she says of the part. “The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, ‘This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'” Lovelace hits theaters on August 9 and the August issue of Elle arrives on newsstands July 23. We may need to buy it.

But Ryan Gosling is in this film. And as such, he’s featured prominently in the new Only God Forgives poster . Gosling reunites with his Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn for the new crime thriller. He plays Julian, a man living the criminal life in Bangkok, Thailand. When his brother is murdered, his mom comes to town and makes Julian get revenge. Kristin Scott Thomas plays Julian’s mother, with Vithaya Pansringarm, Ratha Phongam, and Tom Burke also starring. Only God Forgives hits theaters July 19.
