According to RadarOnline reports : Tyra Banks is said to be furious that she was rejected for the recent Victoria’s Secret TV fashion special, RadarOnline.com has been told. According to a source, the former supermodel, 40, “was dying to appear on the runways as a surprise in the most recent CBS Victoria Secret Fashion Show” last December, “but was rejected by the brand and the network, despite her long affiliation with the company. She’s outraged and is threatening to never to work with Victoria’s Secret again.” Incredibly, Banks, who worked for Victoria’s Secret as one of their original “Angels” from 1997-2005 and created and began co-hosting the long-running TV hit America’s Next Top Model in 2003, was given an ageist-sounding reason for not making the cut, the source revealed. “Tyra’s feelings were hurt because the excuse she was given is that the audience likes to see the newest models, not the ‘veterans,’ on the runway during the VS TV show,” the source added. Banks, one of America’s most successful models, was the first African-American woman featured on GQ and the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. She’s also one of the few models to become a mogul, showing her business skill with America’s Next Top Model, which she’s preparing for its 21st cycle this summer on the CW. But apparently, Banks’ beauty isn’t valued by Victoria’s Secret anymore, the source noted. “Tyra doesn’t want to make a public spectacle out of the snub, because it would make all the parties involved look bad,” the source said. “But she isn’t happy.” Do you feel bad for her? Hoodbooger : Noun, Being a pregnant chick named Miata while stabbing your boyfriend to death Pregnant Chicago Woman Fatally Stabs Boyfriend For Not Buying Her Gifts Via ChicagoTribune A judge set bail today at $1 million for a pregnant woman accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend at their Southwest Side home after they fought because the man didn’t’ buy anything for her at a shopping mall. Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil set the bail for Miata Phelan, 24, of the 6800 block of South Talman Avenue, who is charged with first-degree murder. The visibly pregnant Phelan, who appeared in court today wearing pink sweat pants with black stripes, a pink top, and black leather jacket, allegedly plunged a knife into Larry Martin’s left flank on April 30, prosecutors said. Martin, 28, is the father of her unborn child and they lived together. How did it all pop off? Well… Before the stabbing happened, Phelan, Martin, Martin’s 8-year-old son and 25-year-old cousin, a man, went shopping at a shopping mall. On the way home, Phelan accused Martin of being selfish because he bought things for his cousin and son but not for her, Asst. State’s Attorney Glen Runk said. Court records show Phelan turned 24 on May 1. Runk said Phelan struck Martin while he was driving, almost causing an accident, and after Phelan drove to Martin’s mother’s home to drop off shoes for Martin’s brother, she kicked and scratched Martin before driving away in his car, leaving Martin, his 8-year-old and Martin’s cousin outside. The three walked to the couple’s nearby apartment and when Phelan arrived about the same time, she and Martin began arguing again and she locked the three outside, Runk said. Martin banged on the door until she opened it and once inside, Phelan stabbed Martin in his side with a knife, Runk said. According to witeness report, Phelan said: “This is what you get for messing with me,’’ Runk said, quoting Phelan. “I hope you die, mother f—–,” Naturally, this type of thing will spark outrage toward the the murderous soon-to-be-mom, but she just threw away her life for nothing. Asst. Public Defender Lisa Brean said Phelan is a life-long resident of Chicago, who is eight classes away from receiving a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Columbia College in Chicago. Brean said she is pregnant with the victim’s child and surrendered herself to police. According to Financial Juneteenth: Tommy Hilfiger was already an iconic fashion designer before he began recruiting hip-hop acts to wear his clothing; but with the help of artists like Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, and Usher, his success grew tremendously. While Hilfiger has been the center of many rumors in the media for his alleged comments about not wanting minorities to wear his clothing, the 61-year-old still does not mind sharing his thoughts on the overall effect of hip-hop on his brand. In an interview on Bloomberg News, Hilfiger recognized the way hip-hop was able to accelerate his business, but claimed that he was simply following a trend. “Look, it fueled a lot of growth, but it took us away from our roots,” explained Hilfiger. “When people ask me advice, I say stick to who you are. Stick to your guns.” While Tommy Hilfiger remains a notable brand, it does not garner the same attention as it did in the 90s. Hilfiger says he should have focused on staying true to his vision for the brand back then as opposed to chasing after what was good for the moment. “There is an image and attitude to most brands, and that’s really important,” said Hilfiger. ”I like to stick to my heritage and not chase trends, and at that point we were chasing trends. Florida Woman Arrested In Conjunction With Animal Cruelty Sex Via NYDailyNews An adult fetish model was busted on animal cruelty charges Wednesday for making a series of disturbing barnyard p**n videos that included killing and torturing chickens and rabbits, Florida authorities said. Stephanie Hird, 29, — the second animal snuff film starlet arrested in two weeks — was cuffed as she boarded a plane at Miami International Airport and booked on five felony counts of cruelty to animals, the Miami Herald reported. Hird allegedly made a string of sickening films — known as “crush” videos to p**n enthusiasts — with Sara Zamora, 28, who was collared on April 4. Investigators say the two wicked women acted in scenes for Adam Redford, a local fishing boat captain who produced the sadistic series of videos which feature the actresses torturing and killing animals while engaged in sex acts. The arrests came after animal rights activists from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals alerted detectives from Miami-Dade’s agricultural unit to the gory clips — which were posted on a website called SOS Barn, officials said. According to Click On Detroit: It was the day after St. Patrick’s Day when Colleen Cudney was called in for a random breathalyzer test. The 22-year-old was put on probation for a drunken driving conviction in 2012. After Cudney took the test at the probation office in Westland, she logged on to Facebook and counted her blessings. Investigators say she posted this: “Buzz killer for me, I had to breathalyze (sic) this morning and I drank yesterday but I passed thank god lol my dumba@@.” “I hope they throw the book at you young lady because it’s sad that you did something like that because you could hurt someone or kill someone,” Brown said. A Westland police officer saw her post that morning and notified the probation office. When a probation officer called Cudney to return to the office for a urine test, she hung up the phone. Probation officials say that was a violation of her probation. It was set to end in a few weeks. A urine test would have detected if Cudney had anything to drink in the 80 hours prior to taking it, probation officials said. Cudney is due in court on April 1st for a probation hearing. Hope you aren’t eating … Florida Mother Arrested For Her Children’s Deplorable Living Conditions Via OrlandoSentinel Authorities described the scene as “horrific” — a foul-smelling home filled with ankle-deep garbage and animal waste where five children lived with their mother. The scene was so bad that one of the children asked Orlando police and a child-protection worker to take him to a foster home and said he wanted a new family. The boy had broken, rotting teeth and said he could not chew without pain. All of the children were “unkempt” and obviously had not bathed recently, officers wrote. They ate cold food out of cans and were “parenting themselves,” according to the report. “The severe medical and overall neglect was horrendous,” officers wrote. The children were removed from the Orlando home and their mother, Yolander Lasane, was arrested Tuesday after child-protection workers contacted police. The garbage, which had to be shoveled out before workers could go inside, filled a large city trash can, according to an arrest report. “It was evident that no part of this residence had been properly cleaned or maintained in years,” officers wrote in the report. Lasane, 45, was being held Wednesday at the Orange County Jail on five counts of child neglect causing great bodily harm. Her children are 5, 9, 12, 15 and 17. Another child is grown and lives elsewhere. Just reading the list of things that police found in this house is enough to make your stomach turn… On Monday, police and investigators from the Florida Department of Children and Families found animal feces all over the floor, doors and walls. There was black mold, rotting food, filth and garbage in the kitchen and an insect-filled bathroom with a broken toilet, sink and tub, the report states. The front doorknob was hanging down and couldn’t be locked. Animal-control workers removed pets that had been neglected and were suffering, the report shows. In three of the children’s bedrooms, the floors were strewn with dirty clothes and trash, the lights and air conditioning did not work and the mattresses were “crawling with various bugs,” according to the report.
