The gifts just keep on coming this holiday season, because fresh snaps have emerged of Rihanna changing clothes in the open air of Barbados. Rihanna apparently opened the balcony door of her vacation villa, then showed off her own personal balcony and butt by changing bikinis in full view of the ever present paparazzi. Katy Perry and John Mayer spent the day at home with her parents in Santa Barbara, and the “Wide Awake” singer gifted her 30 million followers this gem of a photo. “Santa Baby” reads the caption. You may hurl on cue. It’s the most public display of affection yet for Katy, who has been dating the 35-year-old himbo crooner for about five months (including a brief August split). Could be the first of many, too. “They are seriously in love and exclusive,” a pal says of Perry’s first long-term romance since she and Russell Brand finalized their divorce this summer. “John is surprised at just how cool and smart she is, while John has proved he’s matured and learned from his mistakes … Katy is blown away.” Hopefully she made Santa’s nice list this year, otherwise this naughty fellow might deposit some sexually transmitted diseases in her proverbial stocking. In other Saint Nick Impostor news … a grey Santa outfit angered a guest at a Swedish spa and conference center Tuesday. Wrap your head around that.

Spike Lee Slams Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained as "Disrespectful"

Do not count Spike Lee as one of the millions of movie goers who will be seeing Django Unchained this holiday season. Or any season, for that matter. The famous director went off on the film – which stars Jamie Foxx as a freed slave who teams up with a bounty hunter to rescue his wife from an evil plantation owner – and Quentin Tarantino in a recent interview with Vibe. Django Unchained Trailer “I’m not gonna see it,” Lee told the magazine. “All I’m going to say is that it’s disrespectful to my ancestors.” Lee then expounded via Twitter: “American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western.It Was A Holocaust.My Ancestors Are Slaves.Stolen From Africa.I Will Honor Them.” The action movie has made a few headlines for its excessive use of the N-word, something Lee also took Tarantino to task for in 1997 after the release of Jackie Brown . Said Lee at the time: “Let the record state that I never said that he cannot use that word – I’ve used that word in many of my films – but I think something is wrong with him.”

Ryan Freel Found Dead; Ex-MLB Star Commits Suicide 36

Former Major League Baseball player Ryan Freel was found dead Saturday at the age of 36. He died of a self-inflicted shotgun blast in his Jacksonville home. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was investigating the death as a suicide. The scrappy, versatile Freel played eight seasons in the majors from 2001-09 with Toronto, Cincinnati, Baltimore, the Chicago Cubs and Kansas City. After appearing in nine games with Toronto in 2001, he played for the Reds from 2003-08 before spending 2009 with the Orioles, Cubs and Royals. “The Reds family is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Ryan Freel,” the team said. “His teammates and fans loved him for how hard he played, and he loved giving back to the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.” It’s unclear why Freel tragically took his own life. Freel was a career .268 hitter in 594 big league games, stealing 143 bases and splitting time between second, third and all three outfield positions.
