We are one week away from the release of Justin Bieber’s special shout-out to Christmas, as “Under the Mistletoe” comes out on November 1. In anticipation of this event, the singer unveiled the official music video for his holiday original a few days ago – and now he’s teamed up with Usher to present this duo’s version of “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.” “This record is going to be remembered for years to come,” Usher said on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program today. “It’s a record that has always been on of my favorites, and I’m happy that I was able to share it with Justin, and for us to put it out.” LISTEN BELOW! ‘The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)’ debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Monday morning. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber in the “Mistletoe” video Photo: Island Def Jam On November 1, Justin Bieber will take his fans Under the Mistletoe on his holiday album. But he’s giving them an early treat by releasing his Usher duet, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire),” on Monday (October 24). The song dropped on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show . Its vibe is reminiscent of ’90s R&B tracks, and it sounds a lot like it could have been recorded by Boyz II Men, who also appear on the album. The Christmas classic is all about the little joys of the holiday season, including the family get-togethers, the food and Santa bringing presents to children. The song, one of the classics that appears on the album, hits iTunes on Monday. Bieber and Usher previously appeared together on “Somebody to Love” off My World 2.0. “Justin and I did the classic record ‘Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.’ This record is going to be remembered for years to come,” Usher told Seacrest on Monday morning. “It’s a record that has always been one of my favorites, and I’m happy that I was able to share it with Justin, and for us to put it out. The album is full of surprises. Justin’s Under the Mistletoe is going to be incredible!” In the lead-up to the release, Bieber released some behind-the-scenes footage of his mentor and him in the studio working on the song. He also shared that he had another surprise in store for his fans. Just one week after dropping the video for “Mistletoe,” he tweeted , “Up early to shoot another video for #UNDERTHEMISTLETOE #Nov1st but something else is out this morning….” In addition to Usher, Under the Mistletoe will also feature appearances from the Band Perry, Busta Rhymes, Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey, who re-recorded her classic “All I Want for Christmas” for the album. ‘This is a family affair, man,’ Wiz tells MTV News while shooting a clip for his upcoming stoner comedy with Snoop. By Matt Elias Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa on the set of “Young, Wild & Free” Photo: Matt Elias/MTV News MONTCLAIR, California — Big Snoop D-O-Double-G celebrates his 40th birthday Thursday (October 20), but on Wednesday night, he was all business. Well, business as usual. Snoop spent the evening shooting a music video with Wiz Khalifa for the track “Young, Wild & Free.” It’s the first song from the soundtrack of the duo’s upcoming stoner comedy, “Mac & Devin Go to High School.” It was quite a spectacle on the video set. The mellow MCs took over a drive-in movie theater an hour outside Los Angeles with tons of tricked-out rides and a variety of video vixens. The clip was directed by Dylan Brown, who also handled directing duties on the film. “This is a family affair, man,” Wiz told MTV News. “Everybody that you see was all involved with the project. We all got love for each other, and you know, we just keeping it moving, right?” “Yeah that’s all,” Snoop added. “We just having fun. We at a big drive-in theater so we could have as many people and have as many things happen as possible in the celebration of being young, wild, and free — having a good time.” And clearly they were having a good time. One scene saw Snoop and Wiz romping around the parking lot in some souped-up off-road karts, loaded with a crew of cuties. “That’s definitely going along with the theme of being young, wild, and free — just having fun, wild’n out,” Wiz said. “The whole theme of the video, we just getting it crackin’ in the parking lot, man, just turning this thing out. So we had a couple little of our friends in the car, and we drove fast.” “I had to level out the playing field,” Snoop admitted, with his kart holding a few extra girls than Wiz’s. “I had to have some, ahem, weight issues, so I had to have some girls roll with me to level out my car.” If you’re wondering how this whole scene ties into the high school flick, the Doggfather has you covered. “We got some more party scenes where we just gonna be doing our verses and having the scenes from the movie play on the big screen from the actual movie ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School,’ ” Snoop said. “So people get a chance to see a few scenes and see us perform at the same time.” The song itself got production help from Bruno Mars and quickly came together. “[Bruno Mars] sent me the music and I played the music for Wiz and he loved it and we came together,” Snoop said. “That’s what we do: We make good music. If you’ve got a great idea, which was started by Bruno, and me and Wiz, we take it to the next level, gave it back to Bruno. He tightened up the edges, and now it’s a complete situation.” Look for the soundtrack in December, just in time for the holiday season, followed by the film’s release in February. It’s really not looking good for newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries . He’s been spotted partying a lot without her… but with other broads — and she’s making plans to go back to L.A. and plotting the holiday season without him. The latest reports from Life & Style magazine detail some serious warning signs that their marriage is headed toward Divorceville: Just two months into their marriage, sources close to newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries reveal to Life & Style that the couple may already be headed for a split. Kim and Kris, who have known each other for less than a year, are living completely separate lives. While Kim was heading back from a six-day work trip in the United Arab Emirates, Kris was out partying at three different NYC hot spots including Lavo and Avenue. Even more shocking, after leaving Avenue, he barreled into 1Oak in the early-morning hours hand in hand with a mystery blonde (whom an insider says is a friend of Kris’ sister, Kaela). And instead of greeting his wife at the airport with a bouquet of flowers, Kris instead went to lunch with pals at NYC lounge PS 450. Meanwhile, Kim is not making many sacrifices for married life, either. Since returning from the couple’s quickie honeymoon, the reality star has been working nonstop. In fact, according to an insider, her recent visit to Dubai earned her a $1 million paycheck. “Tweeting about brands, such as Millions of Milkshakes, takes in another $25,000,” the insider tells Life & Style. And Kris may be pushing Kim even further away. A source on set reveals to Life & Style that a big story line for the upcoming second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York is about Kris detesting Kim’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban: “Kris says on camera, ‘You have to choose him or me.’” Jonathan admits that he misses his one-on-one time with his best friend. “They’re kind of annoying [together],” Jonathan joked to Life & Style at the Angel Ball in NYC on Oct. 17. “I like them separately; I like Kim on my own time.” And he may be getting more of that one-on-one time soon. Kim reveals that she’s not in any rush to settle down in one place. “I don’t think we’ve even thought about that yet,” Kim told Life & Style on Oct. 17. Instead, after wrapping up the taping of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, she’ll be heading back home to LA. “I’m kind of homesick,” Kim says, “so I need to go back to LA for a little bit.” A production insider tells Life & Style, “Kim’s mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn’t a part of it. Any itineraries for the future don’t include Kris very much. That’s not a good sign.” She at least slowed her career down a lil bit for Reggie — why not for Kris? Damn Kimmy Cakes… Just use him and lose him, huh?
