Justin Bieber’s Christmas Album To Feature ‘All Originals’

‘Yeah, we are going hard for Christmas!! #mistletoe,’ Bieber tweeted. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: FilmMagic Just after news hit that Justin Bieber had been involved in a minor car accident , the teen pop star began releasing details about his forthcoming Christmas album , which he just announced last week. In a Twitter conversation with his manager, Scooter Braun, the pair revealed more info about the album, even sharing that it won’t contain the holiday standards fans might expect. “This Christmas album is amazing. Might be the best album yet,” Scooter Braun wrote on the social networking site. “All originals … soon 2 b classics. every1 i play it 4 is blown away. #excited.” The 17-year-old superstar then shared, “@scooterbraun yeah we are going hard for Christmas!! #mistletoe.” He later revealed that he had been recording tracks with some of his pals. “Had a great studio session with my big bro @seankingston and the talented @jonathanrotem #GOODMUSIC.” Producer Kuk Harrell (Rihanna, Katy Perry) has also been tweeting about hitting the studio with the singer and revealed another collaboration. “Wow!! Got to see @justinbieber & @taylorswift13 write a song together last night!!” he shared last week. “SMASH!!!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!! Let’s do it again y’all!!!” Bieber hit the stage with Swift during one of her shows in Los Angeles last week. Perhaps as a hint of what is to come, Bieber also retweeted a message from Braun in which Braun said, “Goin 2 bed listening 2 this new xmas album bieber is coming with. really #classic. original xmas tunes that r legit hit records. #greatmusic.” Bieber has been working hard on new music, both holiday-themed and other. When MTV News caught up with him earlier this summer, he wanted his fans to know that anything is possible on his next album. “[I’m] writing about how I feel and producing. I’ve been producing on my laptop and on my computer,” he said. “I’ve been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge.” He added, “I’ve done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it’s gonna have that vibe,” he explained. “I’m not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre — I mean, I know there’s country music, there’s rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music.” Are you excited about Justin Bieber’s Christmas album? Tell us in the comments. Related Artists Justin Bieber

REVIEW: Miranda July Looks Into The Future and Sees a Talking Cat (Among Other Things)

A not-uncommon prologue: Miranda July drives me crazy, in the best and worst ways. Whether I’m watching her films, reading her stories, or taking a crack at her various, Web-documented performances pieces, I can’t seem to get off the fence. I want to get off the fence. I want it so badly that attached to every primary response — every swing across the fence and back again — I experienced while watching The Future , the plangent follow-up to her 2005 feature debut, Me and You and Everyone We Know , was the secondary desire to shoulder-pin myself there, if only for clarity’s sake. What seems most difficult to accept and so tremendously inconvenient to her appeal is that the talking cat — or whatever other of her grindingly earnest narrative totems — is not negotiable; it’s not even regrettable. If you want Miranda July, you want the talking cat.

‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’: More Sequels On The Way?

Box-office experts look into the franchise’s future. By Kara Warner Shia LaBeouf in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” Photo: Paramount Pictures Given the spectacular box office grosses of “Transformers” and its sequel, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” (despite being lambasted by critics and audiences), it is not all that surprising that the three-quel, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” has made box office history and a ton of money in the first few days of its release. Michael Bay’s third robot-tastic installment hauled in an estimated $97.5 million over the holiday weekend, making it 2011’s new biggest opening-weekend record holder, which was previously set by “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” So, what does this mean? In a nutshell, we’ll be getting more “Transformers” movies, no matter what Bay and star Shia LaBeouf have said or decided about their “retirement” plans. “I guarantee that Paramount is currently thinking of ways to keep the franchise going,” Boxoffice.com editor Phil Contrino told MTV News. “Unfortunately, making a deal for a property this big won’t be easy,” he added, speaking to moving forward with the franchise without Bay and LaBeouf. “I’m sure a bunch of directors and stars will be kicked around publicly before new hires are made.” Entertainment Weekly senior writer Anthony Breznican agreed that the robots will live on to rule future box offices. “We will definitely see another movie; how soon is a good question,” he said. “I took Bay seriously when he said he was finished directing [the ‘Transformers’ films], and they can reboot them again with someone else. That’s not something you say if it’s a negotiating tactic. I believed him. I think Shia is serious,” he added. “Three movies in this universe are a lot for an actor. Unless you want to be known only as the ‘Transformers’ guy, you have to move on and do something different.” ” ‘Harry Potter’ will be gargantuan,” Breznican said. “People are going to want to see it again and again, and that’s a real tribute to the filmmakers and J.K. Rowling’s storytelling. It’s a story where you invest a lot in those characters and they invest a lot back. There is a lot of sacrifice and affection; that movie packs an emotional punch,” he said. “It’s going to blow ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ out of the water.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Janice Dickinson Bikini Pictures

I don’t know what it is about Janice Dickinson that forces me to post pictures of her in a bikini, maybe if I’ve secretly got a thing for her or she’s just so strange looking that I can’t look away. Like when someone’s got a strange mole or birthmark on their face. Whatever it is, here she is hanging out on the beach over the holiday weekend showing off her saggy former supermodel body. She looks like she’s wearing a loose fitting leathery skin body suit. Gross. more pictures of Janice Dickinson here

Gretchen Rossi Fourth of July Publicity Stunt of the Day

Leave it up to bottom feeding trash you’ve never heard of, but who you know is one some bottom feeding show, filled with plastic surgery ridden rich women, that look more like circus clowns and stripper trash than people with rich husbands who live the good life, to get into a USA bikini, to use as an opportunity to get some low level press, cuz people love to celebrate with a bikini clad bitch when that bikini is timely and representative of the holiday at hand….This is some cheap maneuvering on what may be the cheapest expensive pussy out there…
