Trace Bates Confirms Romance with Chaney Grace: Will They Last?!?

A star of Bringing Up Bates would like to bring something to your attention. Earlier this week, Trace Bates confirmed what many on the Internet had been buzzing over for weeks: Yup, he sure is dating Chaney Grace! The reality star spoke to In Touch Weekly about this romance, making it evident he’s very excited to see where it’s going. “These past 8 months of getting to know each other have been amazing and we look forward to what God has in store for us,” Trace told the  tabloid , going on to detail how the twomet: He says they initially crossed paths in Colorado when their families were on a skiing trip at the same time. What great and special luck, right?!? Bates reiterated the sentiment above in a caption to the following Instagram photo, writing: It’s been a great 8 months getting to know this beautiful girl! According to various sources, Bringing Up Bates will return to UPtv on September 19 — and viewers will see Trace introduce Chaney to the family this season. Grace resides in Texas, but this hasn’t stopped Trace from seeing her as often as he can. Even if means driving through the entire night. In other words: The relationship sounds very serious, a fact emphasized by the report that Chaney will play a role on the “I Love You Day” celebration on an upcoming episode “I think one of the biggest and best surprises of the whole party was for me, was when Trace showed up … he was not in costume, but he had a friend,” Kelly Jo told In Touch in an exclusive teaser clip. Trace’s brother, Nathan, also revealed it was the “last thing” he expected to see. Bringing Up Bates centers around Gil and Kelly Jo, who got married in 1987 and eventually welcomed 19 kids into the world. Think of them like the Duggars, just with fewer child molestation scandals . In fact, Carlin Bates is very close to Joy-Anna Duggar — and she recently shared some major news of her own. “We are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first child,” Carlin told Romper this month , adding in further detail and excitement: “Spending everyday with your best friend and building a life together has already exceeded our happiest dreams. We are so happy at the thought of parenting together. “Three at the table sounds perfect! God is so good.’

Married at First Sight Drops Biggest Divorce Bombshell in Show History

In a word? KABOOM ! In a whole bunch of words? Holy shocker, reality TV fans, can you believe the bombshell that exploded all over last night’s Married at First Sight finale?!? We’re still reeling from what we just witnessed and, as you can tell by the looks on the coaches’ faces below, we aren’t alone… We won’t delay the suspense any longer. We’ll just hope all readers are sitting down when they read the following: Keith Manley said he wanted to separate from Iris Caldwell on Wednesday night’s episode. “You’ve been nothing but supportive. Whether it’s coming to my grandmother’s funeral or you coming to meet my family and spending time with my family,” he told her on air, adding in more painful detail: “I do want you to know how grateful I am to have met someone who has pushed me in so many different ways that I just had no idea I needed to be pushed in. “Right now, I do think that we are in different places individually and for that reason I would like to get a divorce.” Dr. Pepper Schwartz was left “stunned” by this decision, while Dr. Viviana Coles said her heart was “broken for Iris.” As for the bride? She handled the news better than expected. “I think you’re an amazing person,” Keith added. “I think you’re an amazing woman but I’m just not sure you’re the right one for me.” “I guess I’m at peace with it because it’s something I can’t change,” Iris replied simply. After Gwynne was confronted with allegations of flirting with other women while married, the athlete apologized. He sounded sincere, at least to an extent, but it wasn’t enough for Amber … who stood up for herself in a way that left viewers applauding all night long. “I think I deserve to be pursued,” she said, continuing as follows: You said it’s because you didn’t feel a spark or connection but why didn’t you walk away when you didn’t feel the spark or connection? “You could have saved me a whole lot of heartache because I’m hurting now and I’m feeling humiliated and I’m feeling like I’m not enough because of how you acted and the choices you made. “I wish you would have walked away instead of hurting me.” Amen, Amber. As for  Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson ? These two, and the way they were presented, left us guessing until the very end. First, Jamie confessed that he doesn’t “love the sexual relationship” he has with Jamie. So the end had to be near for the newlyweds, right? Nope: despite their many ups and downs, the couple was united in their decision to remain married. “I think there is a lot for us to grow together in this world and I think we have a lot of positive things to bring to each other’s lives, but you’ve done some pretty effed up things and you’ve called me some pretty choice words,” Elizabeth said. “I think I’d be really crazy if I didn’t stay with you so I want to stay in this marriage.” Can’t say we saw that coming, but the episode was chock full of surprises. “I just think there’s just too much good, too much positivity, too much to throw away so my answer is yes, I want to stay married,” Jamie concluded. Farrah Abraham Refers to 9/11 as "7-Eleven" in Worst Tribute Video Possible

This NOT exactly just in: Farrah Abraham is not the sharpest tack in the drawer. She’ll never be accused of playing with a full deck or of not having at least one screw loose. And yet, even for this disgraced ex-Teen Mom star, the video Farrah released on Wednesday likely came as a shock to those who have been following her so-called career for the past several months. Yes, it was that ignortant, tone-deaf and just plain dumb. Here. Let us set the stage for you, okay? Abraham has been in New York City for the past few days, taking daughter Sophia on a tour of The Big Apple while also making an appearance at this city’s Fashion Week. Earlier this week, though, Farrah and Sophia visited One World Trade Center in order to pay tribute to those who died on the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001. On its surface, this was an admirable gesture. Dig a little deeper past the surface, however, and … well… … you get Abraham mixing up the date of this awful incident with the name of the country’s most famous convenience store. This is what the reality star said to open her self-filmed footage: “Okay, so we wanted to do, since it’s gonna be September 11, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and observatory deck and everything, of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this. Wow, look at this guys.” Yup, Farrah just said  7-Eleven . Abraham brushed right past her mistake, however, to say how vital she believes it to be that her daughter learn about the tragedy. “I think this is gorgeous, beautiful, and in memory of a lot of loved ones, a lot of others lost,” she says in the following video, adding: “I remember being in fifth grade when September 11 attacks happened, Sophia was not born yet, so I think it’s really important that Sophia learns about it, and here we go.” Farrah Abraham at One World Trade Center Farrah’s sentiment is right, of course. But was it right of her to turn this visit into a 12-minute video that she released on her YouTube page? Or right of here to strike such an odd, enthusiastic tone while walking around the sacred ground? “It’s pretty gorgeous here. It’s such a great day. The buildings are so beautiful,” she continued, later gushing over how much she was “enjoying” the entire experience. On the bright side at least, no one watched this video and wondered what the heck was the matter with Farrah’s appearance . Instead, they simply wondered what the heck is the matter with Farrah. Full stop. “I kind of wanted to make this video while I’m here at the Freedom Tower for September 11,” the MTV personality added. “However we all deal with loss, I encourage you guys to check out my last videos for bereavement, depression, but it’s good to have a memorial for those. It’s great to visit loved ones and have good memories.” We don’t want to judge anyone who has been through any traumatic ordeal. Not in any way at all. But if you’re checking out Farrah Abraham’s videos on bereavement and depression, we just hope you’re looking at a few other things as well. New York City is the latest stop on Farrah and Sophia’s tour across the world. They are fresh off a trip to Paris, where they enjoyed a day of shopping at stores like Louis Vuitton. Days before that adventure, they walked the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. Where is Farrah getting the money for such grand vacations? That’s a great question. Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes: We’re Making So Much Love in "Pleasure Town"

On Tuesday night, three couples broke up on Bachelor in Paradise . But while these tandems reached the end of their line, another Bachelor Nation twosome made it clear that getting off the island together a day before simply meant that they’d be… … getting off together, if you know what we mean. On Monday, September 9, Dean and Caelynn stunned viewers when they decided to exit Bachelor in Paradise, departing Mexico with a seemingly uncertain future. But the reality stars then went ahead yesterday and made it clear yesterday that they are doing quite well, thank you very much. Between the two of them, Caelynn and Dean shared a trio of photos of their time together… which has apparently included one-on-one dates in a van, with a nice view and very little clothing on. “Sorry we had to leave #bachelorinparadise early, the vantasy suite waits for no one,” Dean jokingly captioned one post. He even tagged the location as “Pleasure Town,” which is pretty amazing. Caelynn then reposted her lover’s picture and gave an update on their new life on the road. “Lots of ramen, very few showers, and a whole lot of happiness,” she wrote. In another one of the adorable snapshots (below), all of which were taken inside Unglert’s van, the two are cuddled up as they look out onto the ocean. They probably feel like the only people in the entire world here, you know? These images, and the romance they represent, mark a stark departure from where Miller-Keyes and Unglert were just a few weeks ago on  air. They had going strong until Dean decided to dump Caelynn on her birthday and leave the series. She was crushed, but then a few days later, she was smitten with Connor Saeli and seemed happy as can be — that is, until Unglert chose to return and ask for a second chance. Then, on Monday night’s installment, Unglert came back to reveal that he had a change of heart and wanted Miller-Keyes to leave the beach with him. “I’m a changed man,” he told her. “I’m scared of getting hurt again,” Miller-Keyes replied. “I can’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen next, but I know I want to try,” Dean simply said. He sure looks like he both tried and succeeded, huh? And while it’s unclear where this relationship isi headed next, Dean and Caelynn don’t seem to be in a major rush to get there. Bachelor in Paradise Recap: Blake Goes Bye Bye! At Last!

There was trouble in romantic paradise on Monday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise. Demi Burnett  — who made headlines this season by announcing she was bisexual and then choosing to stay with girlfriend Kristian Haggerty instead of fellow suitor Derek Peth — took issue with her same-sex lover on the latest installment. She accused Kristian of getting a little too close to her costars. Burnett struggled when she took note what she interpreted as Kristian flirting with other women in the cast. (Editor’s Note: Kristian was simply brought to Mexico by Chris Harrison and company to further Demi’s storyline… and she has since just stuck around.) Demi explained that she was not comfortable with all this affection, in part because she was still adjusting to being out of the closet. How did Kristian react to the couple’s first quasi fight of their relationship? By confronting Demi about it during a date, explaining that she used touch to show her friends she cared about them and never intended give off romantic vibes. “It doesn’t change how I feel about you,” she assured Burnett. Demi did her best to understand, but also opened up about her ongoing internal debate. “I feel like I’m not giving her enough, but I’m also struggling with my inner battle of being worried about how I’m making other people feel, which shouldn’t matter, but it does,” Demi said. “I hate that my brain works that way but I’m just scared. It has everything to do with me being uncomfortable with being gay around people … being gay around all these people who thought I was some straight girl. It’s scary. She continued: I’m getting comfortable with it, but it’s taking me some time. I feel so guilty because I feel bad for it taking time and I want to give her what she needs but I’m still uncomfortable with it because I don’t want people to be like, ‘That’s weird.’ I don’t want people to stare and be like, ‘Oh my God, you’re kissing.’ It’s just stressing me out and I’m trying not to be so concerned about myself and trying to think about her. IN THE BLAKE OF AN EYE… Kristian and Demi overcame this hurdle in their romance, but the same could not be said in the end for Blake and Kristina. “I have allowed myself to think about Kristina as being the mother of my children and as being my wife,” Blake confessed in an on-camera interview. “There’s something undeniable between us. We can’t deny each other anymore. We can’t deny the feelings that we have.” In an aggressive move, Blake then made his own date card for Kristina. And in an honest move, Kristina told Blake the following on their outing: “I don’t think I’ll be able to get where I need to get. I can’t get there if I’m being real. It would’ve been very misleading of me to continue these things. I’m sorry.” Ouch , huh? So much for that whole mother of my children thing, dude. “I did not expect this to go this way,” Blake responded. When Kristina rejoined the group on the beach, she announced that she was leaving Paradise. And then Blake shared the same sentiment with Clay Harbor. “Paradise just isn’t for me,” he told Clay. In the van on his way outta there, Blake wondered if perhaps his Paradise conclusion resulted from the tangled web of love he wove earlier in the season with Kristina, Caelynn, Hannah Goodwin and Tayshia Adams. 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans assumed that Jenny and Sumit would be less dramatic than the other major age gap couple . Not so, because Sumit's reluctance to get married has much less to do with his parents than anyone thought. Sumit has been harboring a secret that makes marrying Jenny an impossibility. Jenny gave up her home in the US and left her family behind — everything that she's ever known — to be with Sumit. When you move across the world for someone who started off catfishing you, you don't expect to hear a bunch of excuses. But Sumit has been dragging his heels about marriage since Jenny arrived, insisting that his parents don't approve so he can't tell them. Sumit has been harboring a secret that he has not shared with Jenny. But, after a very tense conversation with his fiancee, he does confess what's going on to the camera. “What's the point?” Jenny asks Sumit. “Like, this is pointless. You're making me a fool.” Sumit's eyes are downcast as, clearly, his secret weighs heavily upon him. “I'm not making you fool,” he says, still not looking up at the woman he loves. “Then why are you looking down?” Jenny challenges him. “Why don't you look at me and say that?” At that, Sumit sheepishly looks up at her. “My visa's going to run out,” Jenny complains realistically while speaking to the 90 Day Fiance cameras. She points out: “I cannot stay in India forever.” “I'm here on a tourist visa,” she explains. Frustrated, she asks: “Does he not understand that I cannot stay in India without being married to him? What is he not getting?” Oh, Sumit understands. We think that, at this point, he's just completely overwhelmed. “I love you,” Sumit assures her. “That's for true. Do you feel that?” “Yeah, I know you love me,” Jenny agrees. “But,” she continues. “I need you to be stronger and stand up for me and stand up to them.” At this point, Jenny still believes what Sumit has been telling her — that his parents do not approve. “I cannot choose one over another,” Sumit protests. Jenny replies: “You have to.” Only when he is speaking to the producers and the cameras without Jenny does Sumit feel ready to be completely honest. “She give up a lot for me,” Sumit acknowledges. “And,” he notes, she “keeps on thinking that we are gonna get married.” The show plays a clip of Jenny insisting: “Make a damn decision.” Speaking to the camera, Sumit admits: “It is very unfair to her.” “I have a big secret,” Sumit reveals. “Which I was hiding from Jenny.” Oh boy. Here it comes, folks. Brace yourselves. “And the big secret is … that I'm married,” he confesses. That is … a truly stunning admission. And it means that Jenny may have traveled all of the way to India for nothing. But only time will tell if his secret marriage is the deal-breaker that so many of us imagine it to be. They sure have looked cozy on social media.

Mike Sorrentino is Almost a Free Man. Now What?!?

Look out, bars, tanning salons and gyms around the country. You’re about to have a situation on your hands. Literally! Following an eight-month stint behind bars after he pleaded guilty on tax evasion charges, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is scheduled to be released from Otisville Federal Correctional Institution on Thursday, September 12. The reality star has reportedly been on his best behavior ever since checking in to this facility late last year — and he also reportedly has major plans upon his release. Such as? Putting a baby inside his wife , Lauren, according to multiple sources. How exciting, right?!? Ever since his incarceration, Sorrentino has remained in the news at time due to visits from Lauren  and also some of his Jersey Shore co-stars. They’ve posted for photos with their loved one and, as you can see above, shared some of these photos on social media. We can expect to see plenty more of these over the next several weeks, after Mike gets out of the big house, but here’s the thing: He won’t be walking out and then into the arms of his beloved better half. Instead, as previously reported, Sorrentino will head to a halfway house , per the conditions of his earlier guilty plea. “Mike is getting released to a federal halfway house and there is no partying or drinking allowed,” inmate-turned-author Dan Wise previously told Radar Online, explaining in more detail: “After serving a month or so in a halfway house, he will transition to home confinement, possibly for the last two weeks of his sentence.” Even after this time is up and served, Mike’s debt to socierty will not be completely paid back. The MTV personality is also facing 24 months of supervised release and 500 hours of community service following his discharge from the clink. This is what happens when you try and cheat the government, okay, kids? Still, according to Hollywood Life, Mike does have a reason to be excited after he gets out of jail: a big blowout is in the works to celebrate his freedom. “Everyone’s planning on seeing him right away and there’s a big celebration being planned for when he gets out with all of his family and friends,” an insider close to Mike and Lauren told the celebrity gossip website. Sorrentino, of course, married Lauren Pesce in November and then checked into FCI Otisville on Thursday, January 15. We hope he’s learned his lessons and will be a model citizen upon his release. Amy Duggar: Joy-Anna Is Still Devastated Over Her Miscarriage

Last month,  Amy Duggar posted photos from her baby shower , and fans were quick to point out that something seemed seriously amiss. Though it appeared to be a well-attended affair, it looked as though none of Amy’s famous cousins were in attendance. As you can see, the first pic posted by Amt featured several close friends, but no Counting On cast members. Because everything the Duggars do is dissected within an inch of its life these days, Amy’s comments section quickly exploded with inquiries as to her cousins’ whereabouts. She didn’t employ the usual Duggar strategy of simply ignoring the comments entirely. But she also didn’t provide an in-depth explanation of why Jill, Jessa, and company were missing from her first pics. Instead, Amy simply posted a pair of new photos, including the one above, proof positive that a wide array of Jim Bob’s daughters were in attendance. It seems it was a joyous afternoon for all in attendance, especially Amy, who — while she’s admittedly terrified of giving birth — is said to be absolutely thrilled with the prospect of welcoming her first child. But as Amy’s second pic reminds us, the afternoon was bittersweet for one attendee. Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a miscarriage back in July, and thus, was not included in a photo that featured all of the Duggar women who are currently pregnant. When one fan inquired as to Joy’s absence, Anna explained that her cousin was forced to “leave early.” She did not provide a reason for the premature departure, but did praise Joy-Anna’s strength. “She is a beautiful person and is so strong,” Anna replied. “We all love her so much!” Many concluded that Joy-Anna decided to take off early as attending a baby shower so soon after her miscarriage proved to be more than she could handle emotionally. We may never know for sure, but it’s not hard to see how the afternoon might have been a profoundly difficult one for the 21-year-old. While insiders say Joy-Anna is handling her grief well with the help of her faith, we’re sure this remains an intensely painful time in her young life. John Wesley Dies; Veteran TV Actor Was 72

John Wesley, a long-time actor likely best known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died Saturday after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was 72 years old. Gerry Pass, Wesley’s manager and producer, confirmed this unfortunate news in a statement that read: John Wesley was a gift to the world, for his kindness and grace are immortalized in his works of theatre, TV and film. I am heartbroken to have lost a dear friend today. A veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of UCSD with a MFA degree, Wesley had over 100 roles in film and television on his resume… including an episode of the aforementioned sitcom where he played the father of a girl that bullied Will’s cousin, Ashley. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, of course, is the show on which Will Smith for his giant break. Wesley may be a familiar face to almost anyone who has watched television over the past couple decades, however. He also played Mr. Jim, the barber shop owner on Martin and the all-knowing janitor Willie on The Jamie Foxx Show. The actor’s dramatic TV guest roles included appearances on JAG, Hill Street Blues  and In the Heat of the Night. Over the course of a very impressive career, Wesley worked with talens such as Denzel Washington, Albert Finney, Barbra Streisand, Tim Burton and Morgan Freeman. Here is a blurry photo of him acting alongside Smith: In the wake of Wesley’s passing, numerous stars, fans and organizations have taken to social media in order to pay tribute to the late actor. “We are honored to have had John Wesley at our festival. Farewell dear man. Journey well. We send our love with you. Thank you, John,” the Hollywood Women’s Film Festival organization wrote, for example. “We send our love to John’s family and to our beloved Michael Learned, our friend Producer Gerry Pass and the entire cast and crew,” the group added. A Facebook commenter also came across the news and wrote: “I actually cried reading the article only [because] his work was so moving and level of shows and tv is astonishing to say the least. Rest easy former army veteran may you find peace.” Wesley is survived by his wife, Jenny Houston; his mother, Hazel Baskin; his daughters, Kimiko Kamiel Houston and Kinshasha Houston; stepson, Kyler Richie; nine siblings and seven grandchildren. Indeed, everyone mostly likes Peter Weber. But almost everyone absolutely loves Mike Johnson. And that was before we found this photo of Johnson and a baby lamb… Immediately upon Brown giving Johnson the boot, fans started clamoring for him to take up the mantle of The Bachelor. He’s charming, he’s funny, he’s entertaining and, yes, he’s African-American. Diversity is a good thing, right? Now, however, we’ve come to find out that Johnson was never even contacted by ABC executives for the gig. NEVER! NOT ONCE! This is both crushing and also confounding. Every year, Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss claims that selecting each season’s leading man is a difficult choice and that the network has a number of options to consider… … and then every year The Bachelor just chooses the second or third-place finisher from the previous season of The Bachelorette — who is always white, of course. It’s easy to object and to take issue with this pattern, but the following fact is also an easy one for producers to point to: Ratings go up almost every single year. Prior to The Bachelor spoilers revealing that Weber will be the pick, Johnson told Entertainment Tonight that he totally understands why Peter might end up with the job. “I think Peter looks the part… when he gets a 5 o’clock shadow, he looks good too,” Johnson told this outlet, seemingly making a reference  to Weber’s skin color and adding: “I think that Peter’s family is terrific. I’ve hung out with his brother, he’s awesome. “His mom, you know, he’s got a little Spanish flair. I think that Peter and his family are just great.” And in another veiled shot at Weber, Johnson continued: “He’d be a safe Bachelor, meaning that he won’t do anything crazy obnoxious. I think it’d be a good, safe, clean season if he were the Bachelor.” The only upside here, of course, is that Johnson is now free to pursue Demi Lovato . But we still would have preferred to have seen him leading the way this January. Ever diplomatic in chat with ET, Johnson concluded as follows: “I will say this — I do think the show has worked hard to increase diversity in its casting and is continuing to evolve. “And as it evolves, we’ll continue to see more diversity from the franchise.” View Slideshow: Peter Weber as The Bachelor: A Nation Reacts!
