Lauren Swanson: Is She Going Back To School To Pursue A Career?!

The Duggars might easily be one of the most fascinating families on reality TV, but similar to the Kardashian family, many wonder what the heck they actually do for a living.  Besides getting hefty paychecks from TLC, some of the Duggars help their dad, Jim Bob, with his commercial real estate business, while others do mission work or hobbies that they try to pass off as “careers”.  As for the women, well, it’s no surprise that due to the family’s strict religion they seek more of the traditional roles as a stay-at-home mom and housewife. *hard eye roll* But there is one Duggar who  (almost)  impressed us by showing a desire for something other than bible studies and cooking three meals a day. Lauren Swanson recently shared some fun facts about herself in a new Instagram post, and besides the fact that the Counting On star can yodel, she caught our attention by opening up about her education. Usually, it’s not shocking to hear someone use their education as a “get to know me” tool, but considering the Duggar family’s home-schooled background and lack of college degrees, it’s a pretty big deal. However, just because Swanson did graduate with a degree doesn’t mean she is putting it to use. But thanks to her IG followers who asked all the hard questions, she got candid about her future career goals .  Unfortunately, it was slightly disappointing.  “I went to college when I was 16 and finished my Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18,” Lauren explained in her post.  Her fans needed more of an explanation. Like, you know, why she isn’t a nurse then?  “I would have to take my boards exam to practice. However, really nursing isn’t my passion,” she admitted.  Lauren explained what she meant in another post after a second fan asked if she has ever worked before and whether or not she would ever go back to work. In response to that comment, she said, “An Associate’s Degree is only two years worth of schooling. I would have to go back for an additional year or two to be a certified nurse.” I’m going to go ahead and guess that this means 1. she hasn’t worked in the past considering she dodged that question and 2. she seems to have no intention of actually going back to school, or ever getting a real career.  No judgment here. It’s important to follow your heart, but I must admit it would be quite refreshing to see one of the Duggar’s care about something other than reproduction.  And God. Don’t @ me.  Lauren and her husband Josiah Duggar found out back in May that they are expecting their first child together , which came as very special news considering the tragic miscarriage these two suffered months prior.  “Recently, we walked through losing a little one through miscarriage, but we’re excited to have another little one on the way now,” Josiah said in a video filmed by TLC. “We’re just extremely grateful for this baby and just going through a lot really shows us how good God is and that miracles do happen.” We’re extremely happy for this couple, and whether or not the mom-to-be decides to continue her education one day, we know she will enjoy this next chapter of her life the most.  View Slideshow: Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson Relive Their Whirlwind Courtship on Counting On!

Kevin Hart Sex Tape Partner Sues Actor for $60 Million

According to multuple reports,  Kevin Hart has a long road to full recovery after being involved in a very serious car accident. While he lies at home and tries to get better, meanwhile, the actor now has something rather important and interesting to read: A lawsuit for $60 million filed against him by ex-lover Montia Sabbag. Sabbag, who had previously been identified as Hart’s mistress , slept with the comedian in 2017… while Hart was married. In 2017, the two engaged in consensual sex inside of a Las Vegas hotel room — and they were caught on tape while doing do. Hart actually shared a video on Instagram at the time, claiming someone was trying to extort him over the sex tape. Eventually, Hart’s former friend, Jonathan Todd Jackson, was later arrested and charged with extortion, although he has since denied the allegation. In new court documents filed this week, however, Sabbag says Hart was aware that Jackson set up this camera and alleges that the actor played a role in the sex tape filming and release. According to this 38-page complaint, Sabagg accuses Hart, Jackson, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and other related companies of intentional inflection of emotional distress, violations of privacy and negligence . Hart was already an A-Lister with an enormous fan base and impressive resume at the time of the affair. However, Sabbag claims the tape was made to help “promote [Hart’s] Irresponsible Tour, which was a record-breaking comedy and to increase his overall pop culture status,” according to the documents. Sabagg goes on to write that she “had no knowledge that the intimate activity” depicted in the video of her and Hart “was being recorded.” The video, which according to the suit showed Sabagg “naked from the waste down and engaged in private, consensual sexual relations with Hart,” was published online in September of 2017. Hart has not yet commented on the lawsuit. However, he admitted to the affair and apologized two years ago during a radio interview. “I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did,” Hart explained back then, adding: “It’s a sh-tty moment. It’s a sh-tty moment when you know you’re wrong and there’s no excuses for your wrong behavior. At the end of the day, man, I just simply gotta do better.” Wife Eniko Parrish has since chosen to remain with Hart. “I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna address it,” he continued in December 2017. “I’m gonna make my wife full aware of what’s going on and the situation I have now put us in, and I’m hoping she has a heart to where she can forgive me and understand that this is not going to be a reoccurring thing and allow me to recover from my f-cking massive mistake.” According to TMZ yesterday, Hart has been working with the district attorney for two years on this case. He believes his friend (Jackson) totally screwed him over and he’s been actively teaming with authorities any time they need his assistance, prompting some to wonder why he would do this if he did, indeed, play a role in the sex tape release. We have no idea what  really happened, though, of course. Hart is currently recovering from a crash that left him with “major back injuries” when his Plymouth Barracuda veered off the road and landed in a ditch earlier this month. The actor was discharged from the hospital last week after undergoing surgery and is recovering from his injuries in a rehabilitation facility.

Dancing With the Stars: Who Will Win Season 28?

ABC scraped the bottom of the barrel while casting Dancing With the Stars Season 28.  Some of the casting decisions are downright bizarre, but who will win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy? That's the big question, and with a cast as random as this one, it really will come down to the wire.  Weirdly, ABC decided against revealing who these celebrities  are being paired up with — presumably to get people to watch live.  It's a weird decision for sure, and one that makes it difficult to forecast which of these celebrities will make it far.  But that didn't stop us from rounding up how we think things will shake out.  Scroll down and pick your favorite now! Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, September 16 at 8/7c.  1. Sean Spicer – 300-1 He wasn’t very good at being the White House press secretary, and nothing about gives us much faith that he will make it far in the competition. Heck, his casting alone caused a social media frenzy, with many bashing the show for casting him. If the viewing audience continue to have an impact on the game, then look for this loser to get the boot. We’re sure he’ll have a press release ready to go in which he tries to spin the whole thing in his favor. It’s what he does. 2. Lamar Odom – 40-1 Lamar only seems to have success in the NBA. He can’t hold down a successful relationship. Add in the fact that NBA players don’t have the best track record in the ballroom. It will all come down to which returning pro he is paired with, but for now, don’t expect much. 3. Ray Lewis – 35-1 Ray has been outed as a liar, so it’s hard to believe that this disgraced pro football player will garner much traction. 4. Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook – 30-1 Sailor was a last-minute addition because her mother had to exit the series due to an injury during rehearsals. She’s young and should do better than some of the others. But the jury is well and truly out on this one. 5. Kate Flannery – 25-1 The Office remains as one of the most popular shows around thanks to the world of streaming. The fans will want to keep Kate in the competition — even if she isn’t cutting the right shapes. It’s sad, but it’s true. This series is a popularity contest. 6. Mary Wilson – 20-1 Dancing With the Stars appeals to the older audience — the ones who were probably around when the Supremes were a thing. That should keep Mary in the competitive loop for a while. But she will need to bring her A-game if she wants to make it to the end. View Slideshow

Lori Loughlin: Please Don’t Send Me to Jail Like Felicity Huffman!

On Friday, one chapter of the college admissions bribery scandal came to a close. In a Boston courtroom, actress Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison for paying an admissions consultant $15,000 to have a proctor correct her daughter’s answers on the SAT.  Dozens of affluent parents were ensnared in the FBI’s “Varsity Blues” sting operation, and along with fellow actress Lori Loughlin, Huffman came to embody the unchecked entitlement that led to such rampant cheating on behalf of already-privileged young people. When word of Huffman’s sentencing got out, thoughts turned to Loughlin and what the news might mean for her. Unlike Huffman, Loughlin rejected a plea deal  and plans to fight the charges against her in court. At first, there were reports that the sentencing might actually be good news for Loughlin, as it amounted to a defeat for prosecutors — a defeat that might lead them to offer a second plea deal. Now, however, an insider tells Fox News that even if a second deal is offered, it will certainly involve jail time for the actress. “If she’s found guilty, she will go to jail; that is clear. And if another deal is offered to her, which I don’t think it will be, she will go to jail,” the source said. “Her only chance of avoiding jail is to beat these charges. Lori is a smart woman; she understands that,” the insider continued. “She’s scared and upset, but she’s resolved to be strong and to fight this. She will do what she has to do to protect herself and her family.” Considering the charges against Loughlin are far more serious (she allegedly doled out $500,000 in bribes to Huffman’s $15,00) it seems almost certain that she’ll be going from Full House to the big house. She stands accused of bribing admissions officials so that both of her daughters would be accepted to USC as members of the crew team — even though neither of them had ever rowed before. Loughlin is still holding out hope that she’ll beat the charges — but that seems increasingly unlikely in the wake of Huffman’s sentencing. She and her husband — fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli — are playing the ignorance card and claiming they didn’t know they were doing anything wrong. But legal experts say that didn’t work for Huffman, and it won’t work Loughlin. “The government doesn’t have to prove that Loughlin and Giannulli knew what the payments were used for,” said attorney Neama Rahmani. ” The fraudulent application to USC is enough to support the conspiracy charges. And there is more than enough circumstantial evidence to prove that they knew the payments were for an illicit or unlawful purpose.” The source says Loughlin regrets not accepting the original deal from prosecutors, but he claims her reason for doing so is that she did not fully understand the charges against her. “She didn’t understand the entire nature of the charges against her, and she wasn’t even sure if or how she had broken the law. It was very early, and she didn’t have all the information that she has now,” the source said. “Based on what she understood at the time, she made the best choice for herself. Now there is no deal on the table, and she has to have faith that the courts and the prosecution will move fairly and not make an example out of her.” Of course, the reality of Lori’s situation has come into stark clarity in the days since Huffman’s sentencing. Despite her bleak prospects, however, it seems Loughlin still has not come to grips with the fact that she’ll likely be doing time. “This has been a rough day,” the source says. “Lori is going to move forward as best as she can, but now she has a little more clarity about what will happen next.”

90 Day Fiance stars being unlucky in love is nothing new, but now, not even their rebounds are safe. First, Larissa Lima broke up with Erickee . Now, Jay Smith and his sidepiece-turned-girlfriend Kayal have split. Kayla is opening up about where they went wrong, and why she now fears for Jay’s stability. Kayla O’Brien was there to pick up Jay when he emerged from ICE custody at the tail end of July. Now, Kayle is opening up to RadarOnline on her relationship with the notorious cheater and how they have now broken up. “We were happy,” Kayla characterizes their relationship. “We always had a good time together.” Depending upon whom you ask, Kayla and Jay may have been together as far back as January. “We didn’t fight,” she claims. “We still acted like best friends.” Even when things were good, Kayla admits, she “always did way more for him” in the relationship. “Deep down, I think he is a good person, but he’s just lost,” Kayla suggests. “He was just moving on his own motives,” she describes. “And I had mine as well.” “We’re different people,” she points out. “Who value different things.” It’s always so interesting to hear women making all kinds of excuses for men. Society conditions them to do so from a very young age. Still, it’s clear that the general horniness wore off and she could see him clearly: “He’s a mess. I do feel sorry for that girl. In the mean time, Jay decided to post some thirst traps to Instagram now that he’s single again. And who should comment but his also single former castmate, Larissa Lima? Shane Gillis, New SNL Star, Offers Lame Apology for Very Racist Video

Shane Gillis is a brand new cast member on SNL. But just days after this announcement went viral, folks around the Internet are now looking at some of the comedian’s past work and asking: WHAT THE HELL?!? Not long after Gillis was confirmed as one of three new faces on Saturday Night Live Season 45 (along with Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang), a video resurfaced of the rising engaging in racist rhetoric. “Chinatown’s f-ckin nuts,” Gillis says in a clip from a September 2018 posted to a YouTube channel called Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast began to circulate online. “Let the f-ckin ch-nks live there,” he adds. Gillis then goes on to toss out insults when talking about eating at Chinese restaurants, complaining about such experiences as follows: “The translation between you and the waiter is such a f–king hassle,” he tells fellow comedian Matt McCusker, doing a Chinese accent. “I’m pointing at it.” The footage immediately outraged SNL viewers and social media users overall, with many of them calling for him to be fired before he even appeared on an episode. “Bigotry and racism is unacceptable. Fire Shane Gillis,” one user wrote on Twitter. “It’s not just that one video,” another user explained. “New #SNL hire Shane Gillis has made a lot of ‘problematic’ comments and jokes over the past years. Will the show cancel him before he stars?” So far, that answer is no. We haven’t heard anything from anyone associated with the long-running sketch show. But the backlash eventually prompted Gillis to address the issue on Twitter. “I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries,” he wrote on Twitter, as you can see above. He  added: “I sometimes miss. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses. I’m happy to apologize to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said.” Not exactly a heartfelt mea culpa, huh? Why is it that comedians think they are part of the one profession that is allowed to be offensive and cruel, simply because they’re trying to be funny? Just be funny without being racist. It isn’t that difficult. Gillis and the other  additions came after Leslie Jones confirmed her departure on Twitter. “Thank you for all the love and support through my SNL years and I know you will be as excited as I am when you see some of the amazing projects and adventures that I have coming up very soon!” she told fans in a lengthy statement on September 3. “Love you all!!” Jones later added: “I will miss working, creating and laughing with you. “I will miss holding it down with Kenan [Thompson] everyday, I will miss [Cecily Strong’s] impression of me making me laugh at myself often, I will miss [Kate McKinnon’s] loving hugs and talks when I needed. “And of course, Colin [Jost], you porcelain-skinned Ken doll. I will miss all my cast mates!! “Especially being at the table reads with them!! Everyone needs to know Leslie Jones couldn’t have done any of the things I did without these people.” Saturday Night Live premieres on NBC Saturday, September 28, at 11:30 p.m. EST.

June Shannon Has Been Indicted For Federal Drug Possession

For the last several weeks, we’ve been documenting the many ways in which June Shannon is in trouble with her family. But these issues between loves ones suddenly seem harmless and unimportant. Because June Shannon is now in serious trouble with the law. The long-time reality star — who rose to fame as the mother of a child beauty pageant contestant on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and who now anchors her very own series, Mama June: From Not to Hot — has been indicted on a charge of felony drug possession. Said charge stems from a March arrest during which time cops in Alabama said Shannon had on her person both crack cocaine and a glass pipe. She was caught in a gas station parking lot at that time, arguing loudly with terrible boyfriend Geno Doak. He was also arrested back then for drug charges and domestic violence and both he and Shannon have now also been hit with a misdemeanor charge for paraphernalia. According to TMZ, Mama June was not at the Alabama courthouse Friday for this indictment. However, in a strange twist (although perhaps not to strange, given this family’s history), her sister was there with a camera crew, hoping to stage some sort of intervention. This would have been the second intervention relatives held for June in the past few months, as they previously tried to convince her to leave Doak and focus on her children’s well-being. Alas, June has seemingly chosen Geno over daughters Alana and Lauryn. The former is currently residing with the latter and has said she won’t return home until her mother leaves Geno. On September  1, Alana posted a selfie on Instagram and as a caption she wrote: “It’s ok not to be ok sometimes it’s hard to follow your heart doesn’t mean you losing everybody bruising.” Fans of the young star took to the comments and began to share their love and support for her during this challenging time in her family’s life. More recently, various sources have reported that Shannon is selling everything she can just to make ends meet and won’t even have anywhere to live in the near future. She plans to just ride around in an RV with Doak and, we presume, at least try not to ger arrested again. It’s all rather tragic when you remember there is at least one young kid involved here. As for this latest, significant legal situation? Shannon is due to be in court for a hearing later this month. She has not yet commented on the indictment nor has WEtv yet canceled her reality show. But the network really would be well-served to distance itself from this troubled start as quickly as possible and in as strong terms as it possibly can. We’re thinking of you, Alana. What is old (and sort of insane) may soon be new again when it comes to Teen Mom OG. About two years since she was fired as a cast member on this franchise, Farrah Abraham has made a stunning admission: Not only has she said she'd return to the series, Farrah has claimed that producers are open to the idea. There's just one catch, however, from Abraham's perspective. There's just one condition that would need to be met in order to her to grace our screens again. What is it? And how likely is it to occur? Let's catch up on all things Farrah Abraham down below, shall we? 1. Remember When She Got Fired? We take fans back to October 2017 and Farrah’s participation in a Halloween-themed pornographic webcam show, only the latest example at the time of her delving into this seedy universe. 2. MTV’s Final Straw MTV canned Farrah shortly afterward for her refusal to stop doing this. She was free to continually strip down for horny Internet users, but not to do so AND to remain a Teen Mom OG cast member. 3. This is So Unfair! The reality star was pissed about the firing, writing on Facebook back then that Viacom, the parent company that owns MTV, “fired me today” and “let me go because as a Business Mogul I act like an adult and part take in adult promotions and activities that other adults do for FREE or in private!” 4. And Another Thing! Continued Abraham in response: “Even though I have successfully been to gentlemen’s clubs appearances they filmed and Viacom filmed me at the AVN’s & Viacom shows and glorifies showing couples having sex on their network but as stated today ‘my brands press out shines the Teen mom Viacom press’- Sad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother.” 5. Such Sex-Shamers! Abraham, who is the mother of 10-year-old daughter Sophia, went on to allege that Viacom “sex shamed” her, noting that she’s “Proud to not have a network take away financial opportunities for my goals, proud to be an Advocate for a healthy sex life, safe sex, teen pregnancy prevention and so much more while I run companies in different feilds [sic] and scale them.” 6. Amber Portwood Keeps an Arsenal of Weapons In Her House: Should She Be Arrested Before She Hurts Someone?

Back in July, Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic violence . In his report to police, her then-boyfriend Andrew Glennon revealed that she had attacked him with a machete. In an audio recording leaked on Thursday, Portwood threatened to stab Glennon . During their intense argument, he stated that she had recently destroyed a security camera with her sword. The situation raises many questions, chief among them — why does Amber have so many weapons, and has she lost her damn mind?
