Demi Lovato: FINALLY Headed to Rehab?

It’s been 10 days since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life, but the singer remains hospitalized due to unspecified complications. It’s unclear what sort of physical damage Lovato suffered as a result of her substance abuse, but as it’s highly unorthodox for overdose patients to be hospitalized for more than 1-2 days, it’s safe to say the situation is dire. Fortunately, it seems Demi is slowly making progress. Radar Online is reporting today that Lovato will leave the hospital in the next 48 hours . As for the important question of what her next step will be, it seems fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Insiders claim that at the urging of her family and friends, Demi will enter rehab immediately after leaving the hospital. Earlier this week, sources close to the singer claimed that she was hesitant to commit to an in-patient care program. They stated that Demi recognized she has a problem, but felt she would be able to battle her addiction on her own. Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety just prior to her recent relapse, and she reportedly believed that because she had been down this road before, she could safely travel it alone. Her loved ones, understandably concerned, kept on her to reserve a spot in a treatment center, and it seems their efforts have finally paid off. Now, sources say the family is taking no chances. Demi’s bags have been packed and transportation straight from the hospital to the rehab facility has been arranged. As for what drugs landed Demi in such a precarious position, her family still isn’t talking, but all signs point to some sort of opioid as the culprit. Lovato was revived with Narcan after she lost consciousness, and sources claim doctors were immediately able to determine that she had been using intravenous drugs. “Demi had evidence of intravenous drug use when she was taken to the hospital after her drug overdose last week,” an insider said. “The physical signs were on her arms.” There’s no word on how long Demi will remain in rehab, but here’s hoping she stays as long as she has to in order to receive the kind of care she needs. Demi Lovato: New Evidence of Intravenous Heroin Use Revealed

It’s been over a week since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life, but we still know very little about the events that precipitated the near-tragedy. Lovato remains hospitalized  and has remained under doctors’ care for much longer than expected, leading many to the conclusion that she came even closer to death than originally thought. While we know that Lovato was administered Narcan at the scene of the OD — a move that may well have saved the 25-year-old’s life — it’s still unclear what sort of drugs she was using. At first, it was reported that Demi had been using heroin. Shortly thereafter, a nurse who claimed to have treated the singer insisted that Lovato was addicted to methamphetamines . Now, new details have emerged indicating that it was, in fact, some sort of opioid that nearly claimed Demi’s life. “Demi had evidence of intravenous drug use when she was taken to the hospital after her drug overdose last week,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “The physical signs were on her arms,” the source adds. While other drugs can be used intravenously, the fact that Demi injected the substance and had to be revived with Narcan indicates that it was likely heroin which caused her overdose. Of course, the question of what drug Demi was using is almost immaterial compared to the question of what comes next. Some say Lovato has agreed to go to rehab, while others insist she’s still too ill to even consider her next step. Whatever the case, family and friends are reportedly well aware that the weeks and months after Lovato leaves treatment will be crucial to her continued well-being. Demi’s mother has even gone so far as to begin the process of being granted a conservatorship over Demi. Sources have confirmed to Radar that Dianna Hart “is talking about getting a conservatorship because she does not trust Demi with anything at the moment.”  The insider adds: “She feels like this is the only thing she can do to ensure her daughter will not make the same mistake again.” Obviously, Demi has a long way to go before she’s fully recovered. Kim Kardashian Gets Called Out for Awful Anorexia Comments

Kim Kardashian is getting confronted and called out left and right these days. First, as previously posted on The Hollywood Gossip, Kim will get into it big time with her own sister on this Sunday’s return episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Then, Tyson Beckford randomly went at the reality star on social media. Now, Kardashian is receiving some very deserved backlash by a pair of actress, Emmy Rossum and Stephanie Beatriz. The Shameless star and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star each attacked Kim online for the way she reacted over the weekend after her sibilings referred to her as very thin and even anorexic. In footage Kim herself filmed and shared, Kardashian can be heard thanking loved ones Khloe and Kendall for saying such things about her 119-pound figure. Here. The Internet immediately blasted Kardashian for reacting in this way to talk of having an anorexic body (that is NOT a compliment, Kim)…  … while Beatriz used a personal anecdote to help explain why this attitude is so dangerous. “Kim Kardashian saying what she weighs and her sisters complimenting her being so skinny is like eating my brain rn,” the 37-year-old wrote as a meme, adding: “There’s only one time in my life when I ever weighed 119 pounds. “It was right in the middle of a terrible relationship, and intense eating disorder, and I thought that I could be thinner and look even better.” Yes, there it is. One should not aim to be as skinny as Kardashians claims to be and one should most definitely not show gratitude for being called anorexic. It stes an awful example. Beatriz went on to note: “Everyone kept complimenting me on how I looked, and I felt desperate to stay at that weight. IT SUCKED.” Beatriz concluded by offering her support to others struggling with eating disorders, writing: “So if this sh-t b f-cking w you I GET IT. Try not to hurt yourself over it. I’ve been texting friends for support.” You tell ’em, Stephanie. After seeing Beatriz’s posts, Rossum chimed in some words of encouragement on her own Instagram Stories account. “@iamstephbeatz, I love you and I support you and you’re beautiful and strong and powerful and a creative bada** woman,” she wrote. Rossum had a lot more to add, though: “@iamstephbeatz, the only time I was 119 pounds is when I had MONO. On a magazine shoot everyone was ‘freaking out over how good’ I looked. I had lost 10 pounds and was gaunt and sick and felt faint… “It totally messed with my head. I love you and I’m with you.” Similar to Beatriz, Rossum concluded her Kim bashing with a larger message of hope for anyone struggling with body image issues. “You never know what someone is going through,” she wrote. “If you’re having a tough time with body image, I promise you’re beautiful and this feeling will pass. Today is just a moment. Practice some self-care and reboot. “Take a bath. Take a walk. Take a yoga class. Make a healthy nutritious meal and watch your favorite funny movie. Tomorrow is another day.” Yes, yes and yes. Is this really such a difficult role to fill, Kim? You have millions and millions of impressionable followers. Try being a positive role model for them for a change.

David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts: Married!

It’s been a little over two years since David Hasselhoff became engaged to Hayley Roberts . The famous actor is 66, and his fiancee is 38.  But she’s no longer his fiancee — she’s his wife . The two are now officially married! Us Weekly reports that David Hasselhoff’s rep confirmed to them that he and Hayley have married. The two tied the knot on Tuesday, July 31. The long-awaited nuptials took place in the southern region of Puglia, Italy. Italy is easily one of the most romantic places to have a destination wedding. And we also have a few details about the ceremony itself. According to The Blast , the 66-year-old actor and the 38-year-old model did not have one of those huge productions of a wedding, but they did invite guests. The guest list was limited to close friends and, of course, family, giving the ceremony an intimate feeling. Among the guests, of course, were David Hasselhoff’s daughters Taylor, 28, and Hayley, 25. (No, that is not a typo — in case it has slipped your mind, his wife and daughter not only have the same first name, they spell it the same way) We’re sure that they were overjoyed at getting to witness the loving union between these two longtime lovers. This romance has been blazing for years — ever since David and Hayley (his wife, not his daughter) met in a random encounter at a hotel, way back in 2011. Hayley asked him for his autograph. He agreed — and asked for her number in exchange. That’s probably not the response that she expected from the Baywatch and Knight Rider alum, but they started dating. Then, in 2016, on a romantic picnic lunch in Malibu, he proposed to her. And she said yes. David knew that marrying someone new — especially someone so much younger than he is — was going to be a little different for his daughters. “I told my girls what I was going to do,” he actor shared after announcing the engagement in 2016. “And they were both really supportive.” “It’s tough,” he said. “No one wants to see their parents split up.” That is mostly true. “But they love Hayley,” David said. “And they’re just happy for me.” The age difference isn’t the hugest in the world. Unlike some celebrities, he’s not marrying a woman as young as or younger than his daughters. We imagine that the only real awkward part of this relationship is that Hayley (his wife) and Hayley (his daughter) have the same name. Farrah Abraham is a Pill-Popping Hooker, Friend Claims

Yesterday, we reported on rumors that Farrah Abraham is an out of control drunk who likes to get blackout hammered while partying at Barry’s. Is Barry’s a bar? Is it just the residence of some dude named Barry? Has Farrah been partying with misters Bonds, Sanders, or Manilow? We have no freaking idea. According to Z-list actress and sometime Farrah acquaintance Phoebe Price, though, Farrah can be found getting sh-tfaced at Barry’s. More nights than not. Anyway, Ms. Price obviously enjoyed the attention she received from bashing Farrah yesterday, so today, she’s doubling down on her claims. Among those claims? That Abraham receives money in exchange for performing various sexual acts on paying customers. Really. “She’s a high-class hooker,” Price tells  Radar Online, the venerable celebrity gossip outlet that broke this story yesterday. “She meets men on very exclusive websites, and one guy she went to meet in Dubai,” says Price. “She dumped her last guy because he lied on [celebrity dating site] Raya about his income.” The crazy part? Price may not be full of it. As Radar points out, Farrah did travel to Dubai – with her 9-year-old daughter, Sophia, in tow – back in May. More incredibly, as Farrah herself once said, Farrah dabbles in businessmen , among other career pursuits.  Price goes on to allege that Farrah’s frequent cosmetic procedures have resulted in a debilitating addiction to prescription painkillers. “She gets pills with all these procedures she gets done,” Price claims. “She claims to have pain afterward,” she adds.  “I think it makes her really moody.” We may have created a monster by getting so much pleasure from Phoebe’s unrepentant shade-throwing. “She drinks too much. She pops pills too much. She’s a bad mom. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Sophia gets taken away,” the actress says. “She leaves her with babysitters and she tries to get rid of Sophia every chance she gets. She tries to act for the camera like she is a great mom.” Price goes on to compare Farrah to another troubled – albeit much more famous – star who has been in the news this week. Phoebe claims that if Farrah doesn’t get her act together, she’s headed for an overdose such as the one recently suffered by Demi Lovato . “She has to get her life in check or she could end up another Demi Lovato,” Price says. “It all started with alcohol with Demi.”  “She needs help. I know she has many issues and needs help, especially because of Sophia. I have known other people with bipolar.” Needless to say, those are some serious allegations. In fact, if this were anyone other than Ms. Abraham we were talking about here, we might have trouble believing such stories. Kenya Moore: Out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

The long-gestating rumors have turned into a reality for Kenya Moore. According to a reliable new report, the veteran reality star will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Chatter over Moore’s role on the Bravo hit has been making the Internet rounds for weeks now. Heck, there was even talk about a month ago that Moore would be fired by producers because she did not want cameras in the room when she gave birth. (Indeed, Kenya is pregnant! How exciting, right?!?) This People Magazine article, however, makes no such grand (and semi-ridiculous) claim. It explains that Moore could not even technically be fired from the series because she was in the middle of a contract negotiation; she was not actually signed for Season 11. And that contract negotiation? It did NOT go smoothly. An insider tells People that production and Moore both wanted her to return as a full-time Housewife. However, she wanted more money than the network was offering, while executives did actually want to film all aspects of her life, most notably the time she spends with husband Marc Daly. Moore stunned fans last summer when she married Daly … … and she also stunned producers, who wanted to film the ceremony. If only they had known about it! But Kenya and Daly famously got eloped in June of 2017 when the Bravo cameras were down, without telling producers. He only appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta once during season 10, for a brief cameo. Moreover: The couple is expecting its first child together (he or she is due before the end of the year), yet Moore kept her entire fertility treatment away from series. Nor did she participate in last season’s cast trip to Barcelona. In other words: we sort of get where the show is coming from here. The whole point of being a cast member is to open up your life to viewers. You can’t pick and choose what aspects you wish to make public, not when you’re getting paid a ton tobe a Real Housewife. “Everyone wanted to have Kenya back, but they wanted to have the old Kenya back – the one who isn’t afraid of the cameras,” a source close to production told the aforementioned publication, adding: “You can’t have secrets and be on reality TV. Especially when other Housewives are showing all of their lives – the good, bad, and the ugly. “They need to see your life.” This report concludes that Daly isn’t really interested in being on the show; that Kenya knows her worth; and that she was fine playing hardball. She can live with this outcome. “Kenya really loves her life with her husband. She’s always wanted to be a wife and a mother, and she’s put all of her focus into her growing family,” the source explains. “She’s not going to jeopardize that for some television show.”

Carole Radziwill: Done with The Real Housewives of New York City!

We have another Real Housewives franchise cast shake-up. Just hours after we confirmed that Kenya Moore has left the Atlanta version of this program admist a messy contract negotiation, we can now also announce the following: Carole Radziwill is finished with Bravo as well. The 54-year-old, who not everyone realizes is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author, told People Magazine on Wednesday evening that she’s departing the cable network hit. She joined the program during Season 5. “After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONY, I have decided to return to what I do best –  journalism and producing,” Radziwill said today, adding in more detail: “I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament. Radziwill came on board as a Real Housewife in 2012, along with Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher. It may seem hard to believe now to those who follow this franchise closely, but Carole quickly became good friends with SkinnyGirl founder Bethenny Frankel in Season 8. Their friendship has soured significantly, however. Radziwill and Frankel went at it very hard , in fact, on the most recent episode of this reality smash. XXXTentacion: Four Suspects Indicted in Rapper’s Murder

It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than a month since XXXTentacion was shot dead in Miami . Earlier this month, police found one of XXXTentacion’s killers . Though police do not yet have all of the suspects in custody, prosecutors are moving forward. They have already issued indictments. Let’s take a look at the details. One of the alleged shooters was Michael Boatright, who was arrested earlier this month. Trayvon Newsome is believed by police to have been the toher trigger man. Newsome is currently wanted by police. Two other suspects are Dedrick Williams, who is in custody, and Robert Allen, for whom police are still searching. TMZ reports that all four suspects in XXXTentacion’s murder were indicted by a grand jury  On top of the obvious murder charge, all four men are also charged with armed robbery using a firearm. According tot he Associated Press, Dedrick Williams was spotted on surveillance cameras and identified. Though fearful of being labeled a snitch in prison for speaking to police, he did tell investigators that he did not know in advance that XXXTentacion would be robbed. It was apparently Boatright and Newsome who carried out the actual robbery, or so investigators have been told. Of course, felony murder rules mean that co-conspirators in crimes that result in murder are all indicted for murder, regardless of which individual did the killing. XXXTentacion had been looking at motorcycles just before he was shot to death in an apparent armed robbery. The rapper was only 20 years old, and had some very passionate young fans. He also apparently acted as something of a mentor to younger people in the business. 14-year-old Danielle Bregoli, who launched her record-breaking music career after insulting Dr. Phil on television, felt a very close bond to XXXTentacion. Their last conversation, just days before his death, was an argument in which she told him that she never wanted to speak with him again. Danielle will always regret her final words to him , she says. XXXTentacion was also infamous for an alleged beating of a gay man, and for being accused of horribly abusing his girlfriend Geneva Ayala to the point that she had to have reconstructive surgery on her face due to damage to her skull. The shocking descriptions of what is said to have done to her during their relationship amount to torture. Unfortunately, because of this, his ex is reviled by some of his more ardent fans. Though his abused girlfriend just wants him to rest in peace , some fans objected to her presence at a vigil for him, and kicked her out. Afterwards, they burned what she had left in his memory. XXXTentacion continues to be mourned by many of his fans. Some of them are so young that this he is the first celebrity musician whom they’ve lost. Some say that a video made shortly before the rapper’s passing predicted his own death . In fact, some sources even say that XXXTentacion talked about wanting to die young like some of the great rappers of the ’90s. Hopefully, the people who were in his life will get a sense of closure once his murder trial draws to a close. For now, it is just beginning. The Walking Dead Season 9: First Trailer!

Are you ready to say goodbye, The Walking Dead fans? AMC has released the first trailer for Season 9 of this mega-hit, which is notable for a couple reasons: ONE: New Walking Dead footage! Yes! Awesome! Hooray! TWO: Andrew Lincoln will be leaving the series as Rick Grimes at the end of the upcoming new season. He confirmed this very strong rumor at the show's Comic-Con panel on Friday, July 20. “This will be my last season, playing the part of Rick Grimes,” the actor announced in front of thousands of fans, adding: “I love this show. It means everything to me. I love the people who make this show. I promise not to cry – I’ve done enough crying on screen.” He then cried, just a little bit, concluding: “I’m particularly fond of the people who watch this show, you people. “This has been the most extraordinary, beautiful experience of my experience… So I just want to thank you. As for the trailer itself? We hear Rick's arch enemy, Negan, early on, as he growls: “You think you’ve got all this on lock…” Naturally, of course, it is anything but.  At one point in the footage, we see Michonne warn Maggie that they need to come up with some rules of conduct for the newly blended communities. Elsewhere, Daryl appears to have been appointed disciplinarian. There's also our first glimpse here at Maggie and Glenn’s baby, which is both precious and bittersweet, considering the fate of Glenn at Negan's hands. Or his bat, we guess, to be more specific. “We’ll see our group together working in unity in a lot of ways, but you’ll also see some changes in the way that they deal with each other,” show runner Angela Kang has teased of Season 9. “In some ways, you’ll see that the vision has succeeded beyond anybody’s wildest imagination. But you’ll also see the cracks in that.” Interesting. The Walking Dead returns with new episodes on Sunday, October 7. Donald Trump: CAUGHT on Tape Discussing Secret Payouts to Playboy Model

If you need to do a whole bunch of shady, sleazebag stuff, you need a shady, sleazebag attorney to handle it. The only problem is that, well, your lawyer is a shady sleazebag. On Friday, the world learned that Michael Cohen had apparently recorded Donald Trump discussing payouts to cover up his alleged affair with a former Playboy model. Those recordings may be evidence that Trump violated campaign finance laws in the 2016 election. Being a woman who goes public with her story of having had sex with Donald Trump can get you stalked, harassed, and threatened. Recently, it even got Stormy Daniels arrested in a transparent sting operation that many believed was designed as part of a harassment campaign against her. In this case, we’re talking about former Playboy model Karen McDougal. It has now come to light that, just months before the 2016 election, Trump spoke to his attorney, Michael D Cohen, about payments made to McDougal to ensure her silence. According to The New York Times , Cohen recorded his conversation with Trump  … and the F.B.I. now has those tapes. According to lawyers and others familiar with the tapes, the F.B.I. acquired these recordings earlier in the year. Remember their big raid on Michael Cohen’s office? That’s when they got their hands on them. The Justice Department is invesigating Cohen over payments to women in order to bury embarrassing stories about Trump during his Presidential campaign. If so, it is believed that this was a violation of campaign finance law. The Trump campaign has insisted that it had no knowledge of any such payments. Considering the amounts of money exchanged, some find this hard to believe. Karen McDougal says that her affair with Donald Trump spanned for nearly a year, beginning in 2006. It apparently began a short time after Trump’s current (and then, new) wife, Melania Trump, gave birth to his youngest child, Barron. During the final months of the 2016 Presidential campaign, McDougal sold her story for $150,000. Unfortunately, she sold it to The National Enquirer , a tabloid whose owner is friendly towards Trump. After purchasing her story, the tabloid declined to publish it. This is known as the “catch and kill” method for handling scandals. Rudy Giuliani took a break from claiming that porn stars are worthless as human beings to confirm to The New York Times that the recordings do include Trump and Cohen discussing these payments. He says that the recordings are about two minutes long. Giuliani claims that Trump did not know that he was being recorded … which is what most people had figured, anyway. However, Giuliani also claims that Trump did nothing wrong. He says that Trump was discussing a totally separate deal to buy McDougal’s story. Giuliani says that Trump considered buying McDougal’s story from the Enquirer, which would have effectively reimbursed the tabloid for buying McDougal’s unwitting silence, but that the payment was never made. Cohen is being intensely scrutinized under suspicion of a lot of things for his work on behalf of Donald Trump. Though he was a firm loyalist for Trump (and Sean Hannity, his other client), Cohen has recently been changing his tune, and said that he will put his family and country first. Some are skeptical, however, and think that if Cohen is really willing to put his country first, he should tell the Justice Department everything that he knows about Trump’s illegal dealings immediately. Others are unsure of his credibility, but are inclined to listen to evidence such an an audio recording. Some suggest that this revelation about Trump discussing payouts to McDougal might lead to his downfall. It might seem unimportant compared to Trump kissing Putin’s ass in what many consider to be an act of treason. But breaking election laws is still serious. It matters.
