Ryan Edwards Fired From Teen Mom OG to Make Way For Bristol Palin?!

If you're a follower of all things Teen Mom , then by now, you've probably caught wind of the biggest development to the franchise since Farrah Abraham got fired for being Farrah Abraham. We're talking, of course, about Bristol Palin joining the cast of Teen Mom OG . The news has already prompted several important questions: Will Bristol be able to deliver the ratings? Does the average MTV viewer even remember the 2008 election? Does seeing Russia from one's house count as collusion? And, of course, how does the rest of the cast feel about Bristol's casting ? Now, it turns out the answer to that last query could create some serious problems for the show's producers: 1. New Girl Bristol is one of the most famous former teen moms in the country, but the news of her casting came as a total shock, nonetheless. 2. Classified Info MTV reportedly went to great lengths to keep the news under wraps, even going so far as to refer to Bristol by a codename in meetings and internal documents. 3. The Maci Connection An insider revealed yesterday that Maci Bookout was directly linked to the decision to cast Bristol. 4. A Failed Gambit It seems that at one point, Maci refused to continue filming unless producers assured her that they would no longer feature her first baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, on the show. Apparently, she didn’t want her eldest son to see his father struggling with addiction on TV. 5. Whoops The move backfired, however, as producers decided to continue filming Ryan while simultaneously seeking out a suitable replacement for Maci. 6. Enter Bristol And just like that, Bristol wound up joining the cast. James Gunn: Dropped from Guardians of the Galaxy Franchise Over Offensive Tweets

James Gunn has been fired as director of Guardians of the Galaxy 3. The decision to remove Gunn from the project arrived on Friday after conservative uncovered old tweets by Gunn in which the filmmaker joked about controversial topics such as pedophilia and rape.  Gunn has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump over the past several months and, some believe, had been targeted by Republicans such as Jack Posobiec. But that doesn’t change the fact that Gunn did write the Tweets in question. “The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James’ Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio’s values, and we have severed our business relationship with him,” Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said in a statement announcing Gunn’s departure. Gunn directed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and was hired awhile back to helm its follow-up. The very old Tweets at the center of this scandal have since been deleted, but Internet users posted screenshots that appear to show the director had written jokes about assault and other subjects. A sample: “Laughter is the best medicine. That’s why I laugh at people with AIDS.” Another: “The best thing about being raped is when you’re done being raped and it’s like ‘whew this feels great, not being raped!'” On Thursday, in response to this growing scandal, Gunn Tweeted: “Many people who have followed my career know, when I started, I viewed myself as a provocateur, making movies and telling jokes that were outrageous and taboo. “As I have discussed publicly many times, as I’ve developed as a person, so has my work and my humor.” He continued: “It’s not to say I’m better, but I am very, very different than I was a few years ago; today I try to root my work in love and connection and less in anger. “My days saying something just because it’s shocking and trying to get a reaction are over.” Most of the inappropriate messages were sent in 2008 and 2009. They were dug up by conservative outlet The Daily Caller. Gunn issued a statement on Friday afternoon, saying that he “regretted” the tweets in question and stressed that “they don’t reflect the person I am today.” The director added in his lengthy response to the flap: Regardless of how much time has passed, I understand and accept the business decisions taken today. Even these many years later, I take full responsibility for the way I conducted myself then. All I can do now, beyond offering my sincere and heartfelt regret, is to be the best human being I can be: accepting, understanding, committed to equality, and far more thoughtful about my public statements and my obligations to our public discourse. To everyone inside my industry and beyond, I again offer my deepest apologies. Love to all. Gunn has been penning the script for Guardians 3, and the film was expected to begin shooting in Atlanta in the fall for an expected 2020 release date. He had been keeping fans apprised of his progress via social media messages such as the following: Marvel has not yet announced a replacement for Gunn. Ryan and Mackenzie Edwards to MTV: Suck It! We Quit!

Teen Mom OG continues to undergo a massive cast overhaul. In the most stunning news of the week, Bristol Palin confirmed that she’s coming on board Season 8 of this long-running MTV franchise. And now Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Edwards have their own statement to make… … they will NOT be interacting with Palin when new episodes premiere later this year. For what reason? Because the couple is leaving Teen Mom OG behind. But not before hurling producers far under the bus first. Following weeks’ worth of rumors about their status on the series — Would Ryan step away to focus on rehab ? Did Palin’s addition force Ryan out ? — the couple released a statement to E! News that shot down all of this chatter. In doing so, Mackenzie and Ryan made it clear they are finished filming… while doing all they could to paint the show in a negative light. “We’re not returning to Teen Mom this season. The network told us they don’t want to show Ryan as a recovering addict,” Mackenzie told E! , making a rather scathing accusation. She wasn’t done making it, either: “But they did want to enter a contract with our unborn baby and have the baby film with Ryan’s parents so it would look like someone else is raising it.” Uhhhh, excuse you?!? Mackenzie is pregnant with the twosome’s first child, this much is true. However, she’s really claiming here that producers were hoping JUST the baby, and not its parents, would appear on Season 8?!? Wow. Ryan, who has wrestled with substance abuse for nearly as long he’s been in the spotlight and who was arrested earlier this year for heroin possession, also talked to the aforementioned outlet. The ex-husband of star Maci Bookout, with whom he shares a son named Bentley, Edwards argues that executives refused to let him stand on his own. He alleges they only wanted him to appear again on Teen Mom OG under the condition that Bookout essentially speak for him. And he was not having that. Not when his ex has laid down her version of the law to him. “They also want to take Maci’s word on how I’m doing,” Ryan says. “Maci’s said she’s not going to film unless I enter rehab again and quit the show. “But I’m sober.” Mackenzie went on to explain that the couple was told Teen Mom OG is trying to recreate the dramatic magic of Teen Mom 2. “I know they did want five girls to begin with after Farrah [Abraham] left to sort of resemble Teen Mom 2,” she says, adding: “But they didn’t want to see another recovering addict storyline. So they’re writing us out of the show right now and making it seem like we dipped out on our baby, on Bentley and on everyone. “And that’s just not the case.” As for other details of their departure? “The show had been paying for my healthcare and for the baby so they could film the visits and then a week ago they let me know that would no longer be the case,” Mackenzie tells E! News. “They’re not going to film the birth. We’re not going to be on at all. Stevie J and Faith Evans: Married!!

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta  star  Stevie J managed to avoid jail time  for his hefty child support debt, but his life is still about to change forever. On Tuesday, he and on-again girlfriend Faith Evans were tweeting their love for each other. The two of them got married in a private ceremony. But there may be a little hitch in their marriage … courtesy of Joseline Hernandez. TMZ  reports that  Stevie J and Faith Evans  applied for a marriage license in Las Vegas. The license would be good for one year, so the two could have planned their nuptials for any time before or including the beginning of summer in 2019. On Tuesday, Stevie tweeted: “I love you Faith Renee Jordan.” Faith tweeted back: “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.” We’re not sure if wedding vows count if they’re on Twitter, but that’s okay … There’s no mystery of when the wedding ceremony will be. TMZ  quickly followed up with an update: Stevie J and Faith went through with it and got married. Apparently, Stevie and Faith held their wedding ceremony in their hotel room on Tuesday night, around 10:30 in the eventing. That was the very same day on which they filed for their marriage license in Clark County (in which Las Vegas resides). We know that it’s a little sudden — especially since it’s Stevie’s first marriage. But … it’s Vegas. (But, hey, it’s not like they just met — just over a year ago,  Faith Evans and Stevie J were on the outs ) As we mentioned, this is Stevie’s first marriage. This is Faith’s third. She had been married to Todd Russaw until 2011 … and, of course, to Notorious B.I.G. Over the past year, Stevie and Faith have gone from being split to openly flirting on  Leave It To Stevie . And now … they’re married. Though, to be clear, those “I love you” tweets are the closest that these two have come to making an announcement. But we mentioned that there was a twist. This marriage is off to a rough start. Why? Because Stevie’s ex, Joseline Hernandez, decided to expose some alleged texts that Stevie appears to have sent her just a month earlier. In texts from June 17, someone saved to Joseline’s phone as “A–hole,” who is implied to be Stevie J, wrote to Joseline. The text asks: “Will you marry me?” Joseline replies: “I’m actually trying to marry someone else I really like. I’m sorry. I tried it with you. I’m liking someone else a lot.” In a series of replies, Stevie is shown to have written: “Coo. Damn. I love you Joseline. You stupid little b–ch.” Joseline, clearly feeling petty, shared a screencap of this conversation on Instagram, adding: “Happy honey moon!” As they say,  Joseline had time . Now, anyone with a few minutes to spare can fabricate text messages, but most people would say that it’s not worth the backlash to fabricate something personal like this. Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez: Yes, They Are (Maybe) Back Together!

Nothing should really surprise Teen Mom 2 viewers at this point. Anyone may feud with anyone else at any time and, as has been made apparent, anyone may hook up with anyone else at any time. Heck, Javi Marroquin burned through Briana DeJesus, Kailyn Lowry and current baby mama Lauren Comeau in a matter of months. Now, we've received word that Lowry has run back her romance with third baby daddy Chris Lopez, despite some very harsh words exchanged between the two over the past several months. Heck, Lopez exchanged a few harsh words about Lowry's on-air actions not long before this reconciliation rumor spread around the Internet. Scroll down to find out why at least one source believes Kailyn and Chris have found their way back into each's others arms and beds… 1. Wait… They’re Back Together? After this week’s Teen Mom 2?!? We can understand why many folks could have this reaction, considering Kailyn and some friends took little Lux on a trip to Hawaii during the July 16, 2018 episode and Lopez was PISSED about it. 2. Lopez vs. Lowry During the vacation, Lopez allegedly tried to contact Lowry often, basically accusing her of stealing their kid away without telling him about it. “Chris texted me. Chris saw that I was in Hawaii and now all of a sudden he’s asking where his son is,” Kailyn told her pals. 3. How Dare He?!? “But before I came here, he never asked me one time how his son is doing,” Lowry continued. “So now he wants to know and now all a sudden he wants to see his son this week while I’m here. That’s horrible.” 4. Sierra Agrees! Lowry’s close friend, Sierra, was on the trip and took her pal’s side. “He’s seen him twice,” she said of Lopez. “Acting like he’s a parent when he doesn’t give two sh-ts. And now, all of a sudden, he wants to see the kid. He’s trash.” 5. Excuse Me, Kailyn?!? Lopez was watching all of this unfold on the episode. And while it was filmed many months ago, he still blasted his baby mama and her friends, mocking the way she once referred to him as an Instagram parent . 6. Tell Us More, Chris! The “bird” in this case is Sierra, who Lopez clearly does not appreciate speaking so ill of him in front of millions of viewers. View Slideshow

Sure, Farrah Abraham is still fired from Teen Mom OG , but that doesn't mean she's about to go gently into the good night of former reality star obscurity. In fact, she's been on her grind more than ever lately, making tabloid headlines like it's her job … which we suppose it sort of is. In the past few weeks,  Farrah has been arrested for assault ; she's launched feuds with fellow washed-up reality stars, and of course, she's been posting scantily-clad photos to her social media pages. The girl has a product to sell, and it's herself. She's banking on people like you wanting to know all about her hopes, dreams, and upcoming porn projects. And now, it seems she's under the impression that you'll be willing to pay for that privilege: 1. The Farrah Files Yes, folks, it’s finally here — the app that puts all others to shame! Take a hike, Google Maps! Beat it, Uber! The official farrah Abraham app is now available for download! 2. Creativity — Not Her Strong Suit Yes, quite lamely, the app is named simply “Farrah Abraham.” This might create confusion among fans who wish to purchase Farrah’s, um … other services. 3. Knowing Her Audience But what Farrah lacks in innovation, she makes up for with shameless self-promotion. Here she is pitching her app to fans as only she can. 4. Come Again? For the most part, she’s clearly just reading from cue cards here, but there’s a weird bit at the end about how much she likes “the outdoors and summer.” Anyway, it might be the least nonsensical she’s ever been. 5. A Heaping Helping of Word Salad And of course, no Farrah post would be complete without a massive block of emoji-laden text as a caption. “I’m freakin out my first app launched today at the @apple store,” Farrah wrote, adding that she’s hoping to take a break Instagram and Twitter for the foreseeable future. 6. Farrah For Sale! “So happy I have my own app now & can have a break from social media! Enter to win a LA trip to join me for my App launch pool party!” Abraham wrote. Luann de Lesseps Returns to Rehab, Will Miss Reunion Special

As previously previewed, The Real Housewives of New York City are getting ready to set sail on the boat trip from Hell . But People Magazine now confirms that Luann de Lesseps is getting ready for a very different, far more important kind of trip: She is checking back into rehab. The 53-year-old will be seeking help for the second time after attending an alcohol treatment program last year, following her arrest for some very drunken and ugly behavior in Florida. Bethenny Frankel actually confirmed the development to People. She told the publication that Luann considers the problem so serious that she must begin addressing it immediately and will therefore miss the upcoming Season10 reunion special. “This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided – with their support – that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process,” Frankel explains , adding: “Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.” Concluded Frankel: “Bravo has been very supportive of Luann during this time. “It’s a brave and honest decision by her, and everyone is rallying around her and wants the best for her.” The long-time reality star was arrested just before Christmas for allegedly kicking a police officer . Reportedly very drunk at the time of the incident, Luann reacted to a confrontation with cops in a Florida hotel room by screaming that she would “kill” them all and by violently attacking at least one officer, according to reports. She was booked on the charges of battery on a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest with violence; corruption by threat. Just days later, Luann checked into rehab for the first time . “After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” said de Lesseps at the time. “I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event. “Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do. “My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character.” This is her mug shot from the arrest: In this instance, her cable network home has said the following: Bravo supports Luann’s decision to focus on her health. “She is part of the Bravo family and we continue to stand by her as she copes with this challenging situation. At this time, we hope everyone will respect her privacy.” Her decision to return to rehab comes days after news broke that her first husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, her daughter, Victoria de Lesseps, and son, Noel de Lesseps, filed a lawsuit against her over an $8 million home sale. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Luann breached a stipulation of settlement in her divorce by failing to create a trust “for the benefit of her two children.” Frankel acknowledges that such “family stress” has served as a “catalyst” for her co-star to realize she needs help. Floribama Shore: Kortni Gilson Files Restraining Order Against Boyfriend Logan

If you’ve been keeping up with recent episodes of Floribama Shore , you know that Kortni Gilson seems head over heels for her boyfriend, Logan. But reality episodes air months after being filmed. In real life, Kortni got a restraining order against Logan for stalking and violence. And he has already been charged with violating the order. Starcasm  reports that, on April 23,  Kortni Gilson filed a restraining order  against Logan. The protective order was filed for violence and for stalking. They also report that, on May 18, Logan was charged for  violating  the restraining order. He was apparently seen riding his skateboard in front of her residence. He is said to have then illegally entered a club where she was located. Within that club, he allegedly ran up to Kortni and other victims, plural, and only left when he saw that someone was on the phone. The specifics of the alleged violence that prompted the order are unknown, but he was cited for disorderly conduct at Diego’s Bar and Grill just before 3 PM on the same day on which the order was filed. “Upon arrival, I observed the defendant standing in the roadway doing inappropriate hand gestures (shotting [sic] the bird) to the restaurant staff,” the responding officer’s report reads. “The defendant proceeded to yell “f–k you” loudly towards the staff,” the officer writes. “During this,” the report says. “The restaurant was open for business.” This apparently happened across the street from a location where families were shopping with their children, as the officer notes. Fans and viewers are not necessarily surprised by this grim turn of events. Many minds immediately went to Logan’s toxic, unhealthy reactions on the show. Remember when Kortni was hopelessly drunk? Okay, that’s too vague. Remember when she was so drunk that she had to be carried into the vehicle? She was goofing around while Logan seemed to be looking at her and seething. Instead of supporting her or checking on her health, he instead walked over to her and, in front of everyone and the cameras, chastised her for “embarrassing” him. After seeing that display of fury, it is all too easy for a lot of  Floribama Shore  viewers to see his anger turning violent. But it appears that Kortni was not the only person who took out a restraining order on Logan. It was apparently Sean Hogan, a producer on the series, who called the police when Logan barged into the club. Which is why it is now believed that perhaps the entire cast and crew of  Floribama Shore  is included within the protective order against Logan. We don’t know what he did to prompt this. But we do know that this is not his first time getting in trouble with the law. Logan has multiple mug shots for a reason. In October of 2016, Logan was arrested for harassing communications. In June of 2016, Logan was charged with felony first-degree theft of property. In June of 2017, Logan was charged with disorderly conduct. This kind of criminal history suggests that Logan is a person with behavioral problems. We hope that the entire cast and crew of Floribama Shore remains safe. Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson: Yes, We Need Therapy

The question we used to ask about Khloe Kardashian no longer applies. Will she or won’t she take back Tristan Thompson after the basketball player cheated on the reality star with practically any conscious being that possessed a pair of boobs? Yes. She will. Khloe made that clear awhile back when she chose not to publicly shame, or at least dump, Tristan after details of his cheating scandal went public. But then she truly made it clear late last month when responding to a social media user who criticized Khloe for being a “hypocrite” by staying with such a dishonest individual. “You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist. I’m proud of my strength,” Khloe clapped back , adding: “I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.” That statement didn’t beat around a single bush: The stars remain together. In an interview on Monday morning with KISS, a good friend of Kris Jenner’s went into further detail about how committed Khloe and Tristan are to each other. The two are in this “one thousand percent,” Lisa Stanley said on air, adding: “They are working through couples therapy. She’s working hard, he’s working hard. You can’t just earn trust back in two months.” It’s been closer to three months now, but point certainly taken. Aside from whatever love exists between Khloe and Tristan, an actual person not exists between them as wekk: Little True Thompson , pictured below, was born to the couple on April 12. “Khloe was always going to try [to] make this work, for a plethora of reasons,” Stanley continued. “The first reason is she has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Tristan] in that way. “The second reason is she loves him. She clearly loves the man.” She really has seem smitten with him for a number of years. But Thompson just cheated on her SO many times is all! As for rumors that Khloe and Tristan are engaged? Stanley says she knows nothing about that arrangement. She does explain that Kardashian is not ready to post any photos yet to her Instagram page of Thompson, which gives her loved ones some hope that maybe the future is not so bright after all. Indeed, Khloe’s family remains firmly planted in the Once-a-Cheater-Always-a-Terrible-Person-and-Cheater camp. They do NOT want to see Kardashian and Thompson together. “If all they had it their way, Tristan would just be the baby daddy. And be very much involved,” Stanley says of Kim and kompany, concluding with a compliment for the baller: “Apparently he’s a good father.” He’s also good at sleeping around. While her siblings took that lesson to heart, with most of them marrying young and getting pregnant on their honeymoons, Jana has chosen a different path. From what we’ve seen, that path mostly involves helping to care for her younger siblings, and lots and lots of gardening. But if a new fan theory is to be believed, Jana’s existence isn’t quite as lonely as we’ve been led to believe. If you’re a longtime Duggar aficionado, then you might recognize Jana’s longtime friend Laura Demasie. Jana and Laura have been so close for so long that Demasie has even helped Jana with the homeschooling of her younger siblings . So perhaps it should come as no surprise that many Duggar fans now suspect that Jana and Laura are more than just friends. The subject is a common topic of discussion on Duggar-focused message boards on Reddit. Many point to Jim Bob Duggar’s cryptic 2017 comment that Jana “preferred the company of women” as evidence. It certainly sounds suggestive, but we’re pretty sure Jim Bob didn’t mean to imply that Jana might be gay. We say that not because she’s definitely not gay, but because we highly doubt Jim Bob would ever publicly acknowledge that fact if she were. It’s no secret that several Duggar children have rebelled against Jim Bob’s authoritarian rule in recent years. But women wearing pants instead of floor-length skirts is one thing — coming out as homosexual would be quite another. Hard it is to believe in 2018, there are still families that consider being gay to be a disownable offense. And the Duggars are one of them. Sadly, if Jana and Laura were actually in a relationship, they would likely be forced to keep it a secret for the rest of their days. Even if the rumors about Jana were true and she wanted to come out she would likely realize that doing so would lead Jim Bob to force all of his other children to cut ties with her. And for someone as family-oriented as Jana, that would be tantamount to a death sentence. As if any of us needed another reason to dislike Jim Bob.
