When confronted with unnecessary drama, we often remark that the situation is “like something out of high school.” The sad truth that we don’t want to admit to ourselves is that the adult world is frequently characterized by pettiness, backstabbing, grudges, and rumors, and high school is just our earliest exposure to this type of behavior. Take the the three-way shade-fest between Kim Kardashian Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, for example. As you may recall, the Kim vs. Taylor feud began last year, when Swift got upset over some lyrics on Kanye West’s album, and Kim busted out the receipts proving that Taylor had (as Kanye claimed) given him permission to record the offending line. It was a mess, and Swift came away from it looking shady AF, but until recently, it looked as though Kim and Taylor had put their beef behind them. Considering they’re two of the world’s most influential women, they’re 36 and 27 years old, respectively, and one of them is soon to be a mother of three, letting bygones be bygones seemed like the most appropriate course of action. That’s where Selena Gomez enters the equation. Selena, as you may know, has a lot on her plate these days, what with being the recipient of a life-saving kidney transplant and rekindling her romance with arguably the world’s most famous recording artist. So these days, Selena probably has very little time for Mean Girl drama, but the same can’t be said of Kim “Cool Mom” Kardashian. According to Hollywood Life, Kim has been “liking” and “favoriting” Selena’s social media posts non-stop lately. The site insists its Kim’s way of “taunting” Selena’s bestie, Taylor Swift. That’s a bit of a stretch, but it’s a holiday week, and content that doesn’t include the word “grope” is hard to come by these days, so we’ll allow it. Sure, it’s possible that Kim was liking Selena’s Instagram selfies simply because she liked the selfies, but where’s the fun in that? Those party poopers over at Gossip Cop have taken things a step further, suggesting that all those “likes” might be Kim’s way of extending an olive branch to Taylor. We literally can’t think of a more lame-ass, timid, roundabout way of getting back into someone’s good graces, and Kim doesn’t strike us as the shy type, so we’re gonna go ahead and toss that notion. Last week, People revealed Blake Shelton as their pick for “Sexiest Man Alive,” leading many to wonder if someone at People had suffered a stroke or was perhaps being held hostage. But though we all know of one — exactly one — person who thinks that Blake Shelton fits the bill: Gwen Stefani. Well, now Blake and Gwen are reportedly trying something that could bring them even closer: getting pregnant. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started dating in late 2015. Gwen had split with Gavin Rossdale, reportedly after discovering that he was cheating with the nanny. Here’s a tip, folks: if you’re going to leave an electronic trail of your adultery, maybe make sure that it’s not synched to all devices and that there’s no chance that your wife could just happen upon it. Also, maybe don’t cheat on Gwen Stefani. Blake Shelton had ended his relationship with Miranda Lambert. Apparently, Miranda Lambert had cheated on Blake. (Supposedly, this has left him so emotionally wounded that he’s putting off marrying Gwen Stefani because of Miranda ) Of course, there were reports that Blake had also cheated on Miranda … but it appears that most of the Country Music subculture sided with Blake. Anyway, it was over being cheated on that Gwen and Blake first bonded, after Gwen told her costars on The Voice about what had happened. (Gwen might be a celebrity, but Gavin Rossdale was only her second-ever serious relationship, so cheating is a very big deal to her. And to lots of people) The two come from two different worlds. Gwen is a successful pop star and an icon, who taught the world to spell “bananas.” Blake is a Country music star, which exists in its own world of trucks and beer and antiquated views of fragile masculinity that stopped being relevant in mainstream culture decades ago. Despite all of that, they’ve really hit it off and have now been dating for two years. And reports have suggested that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are focused on getting pregnant . Now, there have been all sorts of rumors about these two. Countless suggestions that they got secretly married, for one. (Though that’s been encouraged by things like Blake Shelton’s non-subtle wedding song ) For another, we’ve heard stories about them breaking up that, for better or for worse, didn’t pan out. But now the stories of the two of them taking a stab at pregnancy are looking a lot realer. InTouch Weekly reports that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are trying to get pregnant . (They also report that Gavin Rossdale is getting super bitter about Blake’s role in the lives of his children, so this is unlikely to improve things) This claim is further supported by Blake Shelton himself. Blake was promoting his clothing line (titled “BS,” which are his initials but … he could have gone in a different direction with that) earlier this month when a fan asked him if he and Gwen were going to have any kids. “I hope. We will see.” He could have just told the fan that it was none of their business. So … they’re not even keeping it a secret anymore. But Gwen Stefani is 48, folks. She was 42 when she had her youngest, but … a lot can change in a person’s body in six years. Sure, the two of them are trying, but there’s no guarantee that she and the alleged “Sexiest Man Alive” can produce a baby. You’d think that they’d just adopt, especially since a pregnancy at Gwen’s age could produce serious risks for her and for the baby, but apparently Blake wants a biological child. Kailyn Lowry is, for whatever reason, one of the most hated of all the Teen Moms. Which is weird, because when was the last time you saw one of the moms put in so much work for such an important cause? Over the weekend, Kailyn, along with Jo Rivera and Vee Torres, hosted an event to raise money for Puerto Rico, which is still suffering after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. And the details are just so very, very touching … 1. Hurricane Maria In September, Hurricane Maria caused an unprecedented amount of damage in Puerto Rico. Dozens of people were killed, and dozens more are still missing. Even now, much of the island is left without power and clean water. 2. Teen Moms Help Out Shortly after the hurricane, Kailyn and Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell began working on fundraising ideas — they even asked their social media followers for help in chartering a ship or a plane to deliver supplies to Puerto Rico! 3. A Plan After a bit of planning, Kailyn announced what she’d come up with: she would team up with her ex, Jo Rivera, and his fiancée, Vee Torres, to host a fundraiser! 4. Teamwork! Kailyn, Jo, and Vee held their fundraiser on Saturday night in Bloomfield, New Jersey — look how great they all look together! 5. $$$ Guests could make a $50 donation ahead of the gala, or they could pay $60 at the door. A portion of that money went towards Americares, a non-profit disaster relief organization that’s working in Puerto Rico right now. The rest of the money went towards their next fundraiser — more on that in a moment! 6. The Details! Rumors about the possibility of a Jana Duggar courtship have been circulating for pretty much the entire time her family’s been in the national spotlight. In fact, in the past month alone, two different men have been linked to Jana. One of them has since denied reports that he’s romantically linked to the eldest Duggar daughter. But for a long time, fans remained steadily convinced that the second guy was Jana’s future husband. His name is Caleb Williams , and he’s a small business owner and longtime friend of Jana’s family. While Williams is said to be far more liberal than the Duggars , several media outlets claimed that he was able to gradually able to win them over one-by-one. Photos of Williams spending time with Jim Bob seemed to indicate that Jana’s suitor had infiltrated her family’s upper echelon. Understandably, many fans arrived at the conclusion that an engagement would be announced sometime in the very near future. But the last photo of Jim Bob and Caleb appeared on social media several weeks ago, and it doesn’t appear that Jana is sporting any new bling these days. In fact, she and Caleb haven’t even confirmed that they’re courting. For some reason, Duggar fans want nothing more than to see Jana in a committed relationship. As previously reported, Roy Moore has been accused of child molestation . The Alabama Senate candidate reportedly made sexual advances toward a 14-year old back when he was 32 years old. The Washington Post spoke to 30 sources for this bombshell story and has stood by every detail, despite threats of a lawsuit from Moore and a few harsh words from his supporters. One of those supporters, of course, is Sean Hannity. The Fox News host has gone to extreme lengths to attempt and explain why Moore's alleged actions really aren't a big deal, much to the shock and outrage of those who do think pedophilia ought to disqualify one from public office. In response to Hannity's support for Moore, Keurig is among the companies that has stopped advertising on the conservative host's talk show. And, as you're about to find out, loyal Hannity viewers have certain feelings about this decision… 1. Excuse Us, Keurig? The official Twitter account for this coffee maching responded to a concerned user by saying it has pulled its support for Hannity. 2. And From There? Troubled Teen Mom OG cast member Ryan Edwards is getting married to Mackenzie Standifer this weekend, according to a new report. It can’t be any more awkward than last time. Back in May, as you clearly remember (how could you ever forget if you watch Teen Mom OG online ), Ryan and Mackenzie made it official. The only witnesses: Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry Edwards, an MTV film crew and millions of viewers at home who saw some disturbing dashcam footage. As Ryan Edwards drove high to his own wedding , fans were up in arms over how Mackenzie – or the network – could ever permit that. Before Standifer pulled the plug on the dashcam, Ryan could be seen driving the car while so out of it he seemed barely awake at times. Not surprisingly, observers widely questioned the validity (or at least the sanity) of the bizarre parking lot wedding that followed soon after. Edwards, who shares son Bentley with Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, felt his efforts to win more custody would be aided by a marriage. The logic of that assertion is debatable. Even before his image was hurt by the MTV clip in question, the argument was flimsy, but it was allegedly why they rushed the nuptials. Then Mackenzie blamed Maci for almost killing Ryan (not literally, but indirectly through her actions) and the whole thing was just a mess. If Standifer and Edwards’ union got off to a rough start, it got worse, with Edwards busted sending d–k pics on Tinder to random girls. And yet, six months later, they have weathered the storm, and according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, are ready to do it up right: They’re getting hitched on Saturday! Ryan and Mackenzie will be saying “I do” (again) in their hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., with actual guests there to see it this time. Unlike their first ceremony, Ryan’s son Bentley and Mackenzie’s son Hudson, as well as a bridal party, will watch them exchange vows. Yes, MTV will film round two as well. “They will be filming at the wedding, and a crew has been there capturing the pre-wedding stuff too,” The Ashley’s source tells the site . “For awhile [production] wasn’t sure if Ryan and Mackenzie would allow the wedding to be filmed,” apparently, given their recent history. “They declined to come to Los Angeles to film the special with the rest of the cast in October, and some other things. But they are filming it.” It’s not clear if Maci Bookout will be attending, though there’s no doubt Maci’s reactions to the wedding will be a major topic this season. Mackenzie and Ryan, as we said, have been struggling in their marriage after Edwards was released from rehab and going on Tinder. While newlywed Ryan trying to bang other girls technically doesn’t concern her, it’s no shock that Maci feels he can’t be trusted as a result. That incident, of course, opened up a can of worms, with Bookout and Edwards feuding and Ryan and Mackenzie on the brink of divorce. At one point, Ryan even blocked Mackenzie’s number and told members of the crew and production team that he planned to file for divorce. Didn’t happen, though. To the surprise of many fans, Standifer stood by Edwards ‘ side, even in the wake of what had to be a most humiliating ordeal. While Standifer made a grand public display of loyalty to Edwards with the photo above, she was clearly reeling – and furious. She called out one of the recipients of Ryan’s naked photos, urging her to cease communication with her husband or else. “Please stop playing dumb. … I know everything,” Standifer told Ryan’s Tinder girl, further instructing her, “ I want you to stop .” When the Tinder match, whose photos have not been released, asked what she would like her to “stop,” Standifer threatened: “Guess we will have to do this the hard way.” View Slideshow: Teen Mom OG Season 7: Everything We Know (and Don’t Know) So Far It’s not clear what that means, or how Mackenzie dealt with her – or Ryan for that matter. Wendy Williams went ahead this afternoon and did what she does best: She stuck her irritating nose where it doesn’t come close to belonging. On Sunday night’s emotional episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta , Kenya Moore admitted that her marriage to Marc Daly is already in trouble. The two got hitched this summer in a shocking ceremony that reportedly even took Bravo executives by surprise. There was talk earlier this year that Moore might be fired from The Real Housewives because she didn’t let network cameras film her wedding. Heck, she barely even let producers know she was getting married! Details on Daly remain very fuzzy, but Moore said on the latest installment of this reality show that her husband is “in the corporate world” and is a “former Wall Street banker and now an entrepreneur.” Daly lives in New York City; Moore remains in Atlanta; and, yes, there’s already trouble in romantic paradise. “My husband is just feeling very overwhelmed because he’s a private person,” Moore said at one point, latter crying through a closed door: “I don’t want to get divorced.” Sad stuff. So, naturally, Williams felt like it was her duty to pile on. “Shut up,” the talk show angrily told Moore during her Hot Topics segment on Monday, adding: “I don’t even know if she’s really married, but if you are really married, then you’re just beginning. You want to know the pressure of being married in the public eye? I believe nothing she said. “They need to kick her off the show. “You live in Atlanta, your man lives in Brooklyn. “If you want to have a real marriage, you have to be in the same town, in the same house, in the same bed.” Williams, whose husband has been accused of having an affair , is definitely in the position to lecture someone else about how to have a happy marriage, don’t you think? We’d say we’re shocked that Williams would offer up a scathing opinion on something she knows nothing about… … but that’s like saying we’re surprised when water is wet or the sun rises everyday. This is just what Wendy Williams does. Heck, she recently blamed a rape accuser for having been allegedly raped by Nelly just because… well… we don’t even know why. After years of rumors followed the comedian, five women have come forward and accused Louis C.K. of sexual harassment . Now that these rumors have become outspoken allegations, and now that he’s getting slammed by comedians and fans alike , Louis C.K. is making a statement. And he’s … admitting to it. To all of it. Louis C.K.’s statement gets right to the point: “I want to address the stories told to The New York Times by five women named Abby, Rebecca, Dana, Julia who felt able to name themselves and one who did not.” Here it comes: “These stories are true.” We’ve all wondered what’s must have been going through his mind as he pulled out his penis in front of various women. (We no longer have to write “allegedly” for him!) Louis C.K. provides a little insight: “At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true.” That … sounds like some bizarre mental gymnastics were going on in his mind to excuse his behavior. The sort of excuse that only he himself could buy. “But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them.” Power can mean professional authority. It can mean celebrity status. It can even mean physical strength and size. Remember, folks: the cashier or barista smiles at you because it’s literally part of her job, not because she wants to see your genitals. “The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly. I have been remorseful of my actions. And I’ve tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions.” Louis C.K.’s statement continues: “I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves and cautious around other men who would never have put them in that position.” One of those women said that the experience discouraged her from pursuing her career in comedy. “I also took advantage of the fact that I was widely admired in my and their community, which disabled them from sharing their story and brought hardship to them when they tried because people who look up to me didn’t want to hear it.” That “widely admired” bit sounds a little like self-praise, which is not tonally appropriate … but maybe he’s just trying to make sure that people understand that he knows that it was wrong and why? “I didn’t think that I was doing any of that because my position allowed me not to think about it.” A lot of men never think about the damage that they do. “There is nothing about this that I forgive myself for. And I have to reconcile it with who I am. Which is nothing compared to the task I left them with.” That’s proper. “I wish I had reacted to their admiration of me by being a good example to them as a man and given them some guidance as a comedian, including because I admired their work.” “The hardest regret to live with is what you’ve done to hurt someone else.” Well, maybe his hardest regret. “And I can hardly wrap my head around the scope of hurt I brought on them.” Louis C.K.’s actions are now impacting more than just himself and these women. Remember, HBO gave him the axe. “I’d be remiss to exclude the hurt that I’ve brought on people who I work with and have worked with who’s professional and personal lives have been impacted by all of this, including projects currently in production: the cast and crew of Better Things, Baskets, The Cops, One Mississippi, and I Love You, Daddy.” That’s a lot of people screwed over, professionally, because Louis C.K. couldn’t keep it in his pants (literally). “I deeply regret that this has brought negative attention to my manager Dave Becky who only tried to mediate a situation that I caused.” If you don’t want to negatively impact the people who consider it their job to clean up your messes, maybe don’t make messes. (Some have pointed out that Louis C.K.’s wealth is in the 8 digits, and that he mgiht want to cut some checks to the people whom he’s left hanging) “I’ve brought anguish and hardship to the people at FX who have given me so much The Orchard who took a chance on my movie. and every other entity that has bet on me through the years.” We cannot imagine how his family is feeling right now. “I’ve brought pain to my family, my friends, my children and their mother.” Louis C.K. finishes off his statement with this: “I have spent my long and lucky career talking and saying anything I want. I will now step back and take a long time to listen. Thank you for reading.” It’s good that he’s admitting this, and a refreshing change from endless denials in Hollywood , but we’d like to point out a couple of things: One: if there was a actual, explicit apology in this, we don’t think that we saw it. Maybe it’s implied , but that’s actually not how apologies work. You have to say them. Two: some have pointed out that Louis C.K. could have spoken out years ago when Gawker (before the site was destroyed by a vengeful, Trump-supporting billionaire) first talked about these rumors. Or in the summer of 2016, when Roseanne Barr spoke about it . It almost seems, to some, that Louis C.K. was less concerned about how his actions impacted these women … and was only moved to speak up because it’s now hurting his career . That’s a cynical view, but … you can see why people feel that way. Especially people who have their own #MeToo stories and will never trust the people responsible for them.
