Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran: Actually Getting Married?!

It’s been so hard to keep up with all of the relationship shenanigans of Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran, but let’s try anyway, OK? Otherwise how would we be able to enjoy outrageously dumb and alarming updates like these new wedding rumors? So let’s see, Farrah began dating Simon sometime towards the end of 2014, and it’s been madness ever since. They’ve broken up, gotten back together, gotten into nasty fights, said awful things about each other on social media and to the press, cozied up to each other whenever they thought it could get them a bit of attention. It seems like the unhealthiest of relationships , but darn it, we can never look away. And if these new photos of the (un)happy couple are anything to go by, it seems like we may never have to. That’s Farrah and Simon looking mighty friendly … in an Indian bridal boutique. That’s “bridal” as in “bride,” as in “wedding” as in “oh no no no, these two can’t possibly be planning on getting married, right?!” Simon posted a series of photos from the boutique — they’re apparently filming for his Teen Mom OG spin-off web series, Being Simon. His followers were quick to assume that the photos were evidence of an upcoming wedding. Some comments were sweet, things about how Farrah looks nice in the outfits and how “Indian weddings are sooooo lit!” But most of them weren’t so kind. “You really want to spend the rest of your life with her?” one person asked. “Look how she treats her own mom !!! Girl has NO respect…” Another person told him “You just destroyed Indian culture with one pic.” Several people advised him to run, which, you know, is pretty good advice. It looks like Farrah’s daughter, Sophia, also got in on the fun — Farrah shared this photo featuring her in her own Indian fashions: Could that be a flower girl ensemble? If you feel like maybe this whole thing is just another publicity stunt, there’s one more concerning piece of evidence: the bridal boutique shared the photos of Farrah on their own page. And they used the hashtag “Indian bride.” It’s all pretty scary to think about, but Farrah herself has come forward to deny the rumors, telling In Touch that she just wanted to learn about Simon’s culture. In fact, she told the publication that she’s not dating Simon right now, or anyone else, for that matter. When she was asked if she thought that she and Simon would eventually settle down together, she said “No, I don’t really plan to.” “I paid for my own ring — I can just do it all on my own and marry myself, really. In fact, if your father is not a big texter, it might be worth getting the old man a new phone for Father's Day for the comedic potential. From bad jokes and hilariously juvenile references to autocorrect fails we can all relate to, these exchanges will leave you ROFL 24/7. Erin Moran: Husband Reveals Cause of Death, Mourns Actress in Moving Letter

Earlier this week, Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi actress Erin Moran passed away at the age of 56. Little was known about Moran’s cause of death in the days after the news of her passing went public, but that didn’t prevent one of her former co-stars from speculating. Scott Baio, who played the other title character in Joanie Loves Chachi, stated that he was “not surprised” by Moran’s death . Even worse, he incorrectly attributed her premature demise to her history of drug and alcohol abuse. “I feel bad because her whole life, she was troubled, could never find what made her happy and content,” Baio said in an interview on Monday. “For me, you do drugs or drink, you’re gonna die.” After it was revealed that Moran likely died of cancer and not of an overdose, the criticism of Baio grew louder, with many demanding the actor apologize. Instead, Baio defended his comments in a bizarrely Trump-ian Twitter tirade. The 56-year-old tweeted: “This is so wrong.” “Now I know what fake news is! I said ‘IF’ (You abuse drugs/alcohol). My wife @MrsScottBaio spoke to Erin less than 1 month ago.” Now it seems that Baio has finally come to an important realization (better late than never) in the aftermath of this controversy: He should be trying to make amends to Moran’s family, not flailing about in an effort to salvage what’s left of his career. Moments ago, Baio posted a lengthy open letter penned by Moran’s husband, Steve Fleischmann, which confirms what law enforcement officials revealed yesterday: Moran was battling stage four cancer at the time of her death. Fleischmann revealed that the cancer acted fast, having only been discovered in November: “Erin woke up and had about a dime size blood stain on her pillowcase,” he wrote. “She said I think i bit my tongue. A couple days go by and there’s a bigger spot of blood.” “We get like 4 days into December, there’s more blood. I get a flashlight and say let me look. It was not her tongue it was her tonsil on the left side.” “I thought it was tonsillitis.” He added: “So we went to an ENT who said they wanted to biopsy it. It came back squamous cell carcinoma. She started radiation and chemo.” “Five days a week radiation and chemo only on Thursdays,” he recalls. “We did that the whole time. It got so bad so fast.” Fleischmann went on to offer a heartbreaking account of his wife’s final moments: “I laid down next to her held her right hand in my left.” “I feel asleep woke up about a hour later still holding her hand and she was gone, she was just gone. Norton Cancer Institute never said how bad it was.” “The coroner told me it was really really bad. It had spread to her spleen, she had a lot of fluid in her lungs and part of her brain was infected.” He added that by the time the cancer was discovered, it was already too late to have a realistic chance of saving Erin. “The coroner said even if she was in the hospital being pumped full of antibiotics she still would not of made it,” he recalls.  “He said it was the best that she was with me and went in her sleep,” Fleischmann concluded with a plea for sensitivity from fans and the media: “PLEASE feel free to send the above to Any and ALL news outlets The press has been relentless,” he wrote. “They knock on the door constantly.” Our thoughts go out to Fleischmann and the rest of Moran’s family at this difficult time. Erin Moran: Mourned & Remembered by Happy Days Co-Stars

Yesterday, we heard the sad news that Erin Moran, an actress best known for her role on Happy Days, had passed away at the age of 56. At this point in time, the cause of her death is unknown — officials have scheduled an autopsy to clear everything up. Right now, we know that around 4:00 yesterday afternoon in Indiana, authorities received a call about an “unresponsive female.” But when EMTs arrived to the location, the woman — Erin — was already dead. It was a sad ending to what seemed to be a sad life. She began her acting career when she was only five years old. She appeared in commercials and had small roles in various television shows until she landed the role of Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days. Erin played Joanie for the full ten seasons that Happy Days ran, and she played her again for one season of the spin-off series Joanie Loves Chachi. She had a few other roles after the show ended, most recently in the film Not Another B Movie in 2010, but she never had the same level of fame or success since. Several reports claim that she began struggling with addiction issues, and she also struggled with her finances, eventually ending up completely broke . But no matter what happened in her life, no matter what caused her to end up the way she did, one fact remains: She was clearly well loved and respected by her Happy Days family. Ron Howard, who played Erin’s big brother Richie Cunningham, remembered her on Twitter, writing “Such sad sad news. RIP Erin. I’ll always choose to remember you on our show making scenes better, getting laughs and lighting up tv screens.” Henry Winkler, The Fonz himself, tweeted “OH Erin… now you will finally have the peace you wanted so badly here on earth …Rest In It serenely now.. too soon.” Don Most, who played Richie’s friend Ralph, made a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, saying “I am so incredibly sad to hear about Erin. She was a wonderful, sweet, caring, talented woman.” “As I write this I can’t really comprehend this right now. A very painful loss. It gives me some comfort to know that she’s with Tom, Al, Pat and Garry. Rest In Peace, sweet Erin.” He’s referring, of course, to Tom Bosley, Al Molinaro, and Pat Morita, all beloved actors from Happy Days, and Garry Marshall, the show’s creator. Anson Williams, who played Richie’s other buddy, Potsie, released a statement of his own that read “Erin was a person who made everyone around her feel better.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam “She truly cared about others first, a true angel. RIP sweet angel.” Her loss is clearly being felt deeply by those who knew her, and it’s such a testament to the kind of person she apparently was. Kim Zolciak: Her 4-Year-Old Son Suffers Vicious Dog Attack

Kim Zolciak can be a mighty ridiculous human being , and usually when we talk about her, it’s to poke fun. But what happened to her and her family this weekend is no laughing matter. As Kim revealed in a lengthy Instagram post earlier this afternoon, her four-year-old son, Kash, was attacked by a dog, and the poor little boy was seriously injured. “I don’t know where to start,” she began her post. “The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare.” “My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life.” Kim continued “My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled us together and held each other up.” To really hit the tragedy home, she shared a heartbreaking picture of Kash with his father and Kim’s husband, Kroy Biermann, as he laid in a hospital bed. Poor Kash had such terrible injuries that he required surgery — she explained that he “was in the operating room for a couple hours,” and that “now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery.” Kim was set to appear on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live tonight, but she won’t be able to make the show, for obvious reasons. Still, ever the professional , she said that she’ll “do my best to make it up very soon!” Kim closed her post by thanking her family, friends and fans for praying for Kash, “and most importantly Thank you God for your protection.” Thanks to the “incredible medical team” that’s helping Kash with his injuries, she said that he’ll be able to come home after spending a few days in the hospital recovering. Kim hasn’t explained what exactly happened, what dog attacked her son or why, or what injuries he’s suffered. Understandably so — we’re sure she’s got enough on her plate right now without filling the masses in on every horrific detail. But for once, instead of the comments on her Instagram posts filling up with plastic surgery accusations and general nonsense, it seems her followers are wishing her and her family all the best. Amber Portwood & Catelynn Lowell: Partying Despite Addiction Issues

Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 are unique among reality shows, in that the central cast members rarely spend any time together. The show was conceived as a means of chronicling the varying experiences of different teenage expectant mothers in different regions of the US. These days it’s taken on more of a soapy docu-drama feel, but the ladies still live in far-flung regions of the country, in most cases far from any metropolitan cultural centers. A few times a year, however, the entire cast of Teen Mom: OG descends upon New York or LA to record supplemental material or attend an event sponsored by MTV. Last week, all four of the series’ leads flew to Los Angeles for a premiere party celebrating the debut of Teen Mom: OG Three-fourths of the cast (Farrah remains on the outs with the other ladies) hit the town for a sort of mobile after-party after things rapped up, and predictably, things got a wild crazy. Obviously, there’s nothing wrong with a few twenty-somethings hitting the town and ingesting some substances now and then, but fans are a bit concerned due to the troubled pasts of two of the ladies who got went out raging that night.   If you watch Teen Mom online , you’re probably aware that Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell have both struggled with emotional and substance abuse issues in the not-so-distant past. Portwood went to prison , choosing incarceration over rehab after a series of brushes with the law. Lowell checked into rehab for a number of emotional issues, and decided that she suffers from a “psychological addiction” to marijuana. So it’s a bit surprising that the ladies were decided to chronicle their booze- and weed-fueled night on the town for their social media followers. The above image from Tyler Baltierra’s Snapchat is a little tough to make out, but it appears to show Amber’s fiance, Matt Baier, brandishing a bottle of booze in the back of a limo. It’s one of a few blurry photos from that night, but more telling than the images they posted on social media are the words: “Happy 420 everyone,” Lowell tweeted at one point. “Remember NO smoking and driving! Always remember park and spark!” Lowell recently admitted on Lowell that she’s frequented dispensaries in states where weed is legal (like California). Guess she’s not too worried about that “psychological addiction” these days. As for Portwoord, she’s addressed fans’ concerns about her drinking in the past by explaining that she’s sober from prescription pain pills, and has no issues with booze. Jana Duggar: Slammed For "Depressing" Comments About Jessa

If you’re a fan of the Duggar clan, by now you’re probably already familiar with the narrative surrounding Jana Duggar. To many viewers,  Jana is the “Cinderella Duggar,” forced to remain at home and help care for her parents’ massive brood while her brothers and sisters marry and start families of their own. That characterization might be a little inaccurate (There could be lots of reasons that Jana has chosen not to marry.), but in fairness, Jana doesn’t do much to disabuse fans of the notion that she’s basically a put-upon fairytale character. In an interview with TLC that was recorded several months ago but released this week , Jana offers some insights into what she’s most looking forward to in 2017. “Jessa’s going to be having her little one, so I’ll be at that birth and looking forward to that,” she tells the network. It may seem harmless that Jana’s most anticipated event of the year is Jessa welcoming her second child , but apparently, the remark struck a nerve for some viewers. “So sad. At this age their lives should be full of excitement and promise. The only important things going on for them are projects and Jessa’s new baby,” one fan commented on the Duggars’ official Facebook page. “She has nothing else to do but wait around for another sister to give birth. Jana your killing me. Your young your beautiful, grab some life and live it girl,” wrote another. Look, if Jana wants to leave the house and start her own family and is being prevented from doing so, that’s legitimately very sad. But this might be a case of fans reading a bit too much into an off-hand comment. It’s worth pointing out that Jana’s twin, John David Duggar, is also single , but is not subjected to the same pressures and scrutiny as Jana. Usually, the most common critiques of the Duggars (or at least the ones that don’t their efforts to cover up the Josh Duggar sex scandals ) involve the family’s backwards notions about women and their place in the world. In the case of Jana, however, it’s often the fans who play the old fashioned role and bemoan her lack of a husband and children. See what you did, people? Matt Baier: About Those Amber Portwood Abuse Rumors …

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have never been our favorite Teen Mom couple. After all, with reports that Matt tried to holler at both Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans before finally succeeding with Amber, and with that whole thing about him being a deadbeat dad of a still unproven amount of children … Like, why would we ever be into him? But despite the protests of Teen Mom fans everywhere, Amber is still with Matt, and they’re planning on getting married this October . Or at least, that was the plan before all the abuse allegations hit the fan. Earlier this week, some questionable photos of Matt Baier surfaced — photos that showed some pretty nasty injuries that seemed to be from a fight. In one photo, Matt has some bloody cuts on his face, and in another, he has a black eye. Not only that, but the photos were actually screenshots of texts — along with the pictures, Matt wrote messages like “Look what she just did” and “Remember this is the woman who did this!” So the easy assumption would be that these are photos from Matt claiming that Amber abused him, right? After all, Amber has a history of domestic violence , and we saw her viciously attack Gary Shirley more than once. She’s come a long, long way since then, but still, fans have noted that the background in one of Matt’s photos matches a room in Amber’s house, and the glasses he’s wearing are his current ones. As much as we don’t want to believe that Amber, much less 2017 Amber, could do something like this, could it actually be true? According to a statement Matt gave People, absolutely not. “The rumor that’s circulating is both vicious and completely false,” the statement begins. “I can’t stand by and allow the media or anyone else to undermine the progress that Amber has made in turning her life around, or the relationship we’ve worked hard to build together.” “The photo that surfaced is nothing more than the result of some roughhousing amongst my guy friends,” he explains. “I got my butt kicked by a friend, and it was well-deserved, I might add.” “Now someone’s trying to use the pic to paint an untrue picture of our life together.” “Amber would never lay a hand on me,” Matt concludes, “and I can’t wait to marry the love of my life in October.” So there you have it. The photos have nothing to do with Amber, their relationship is lovely and beautiful and all good things, and we’re all dumb for believing otherwise. However, let’s also remember that at one point in this new season of Teen Mom OG, Amber breaks down while trying on wedding dresses , telling a friend “You can love each other and want to be with each other for the rest of your life and still not trust each other.” So hey, even if the abuse rumors aren’t true, maybe still don’t get married? Just a thought.
