Time Magazine SLAMMED for Sexist Coverage of Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney is expecting twins with George Clooney . She is also a human rights attorney who gave a speech this week at the UN headquarters, calling on the organization to investigate crimes committed by the Islamic State, including killings, forced conversions and rape. Not that TIME Magazine cared at all about that latter fact. As you're about to learn below, the publication Tweeted only about Amal's baby bump while she spoke on the floor of the United Nations, rightfully earning the ire of Internet users in the process. Scroll down for more… 1. Yes, She Showed it Off While, you know, speaking out on the atrocities committed by ISIS against women. 2. What Speech?!? The tweet linked to an article published in Motto – Time Inc.’s website aimed at younger women – which was titled “Amal Clooney Rocks the Baby Bump Ahead of U.N. Speech.” What a great lesson for these young women. 3. Pssst… Time In case you were wondering about anything outside of her baby bump. 4. Tell Us, TIME! We need to know! 5. THIS. Courtland Rogers: Out of Jail, Hoping to Win Back Jenelle Evans?

Back in November of 2015, Jenelle Evans’ ex-husband,  Courtland Rogers, was arrested for possession of heroin . A month later Rogers was sentenced to three years behind bars. A habitual offender with a rap sheet a mile long, Rogers didn’t seem to be a candidate for early release, but it seems the parole board has taken mercy on the 31-year-old, possibly as a result of his long battle with addiction. Radar Online is reporting today that Rogers will be released from Tabor County Correctional Institution on March 18. “There is an advanced supervised release program,” a prison authority tells the site. “They have to meet a certain criteria and not get certain infractions and be in classes to have a reduced sentence.” Naturally, Rogers’ release has raised one looming question in the mind of Teen Mom 2 fans: Will Courtland try to get back in contact with Jenelle? The idea might seem ridiculous, as Jenelle is engaged to David Eason these days, but she and Courtland shared a deep connection at one point. It probably seems like a different life to Jenelle at this point (It was, after all, two baby daddies ago.), but it’s been less than three years since Evans and Rogers divorced. Of course, things move awfully fast in the Carolina Hurricane’s world. When Rogers went to prison, Jenelle was yet to get pregnant by Eason, and now the couple has a one-month old daughter together and are in the process of planning a wedding. If it were any other Teen Mom cast member, or for that matter, anyone else on reality television, we’d say these are all signs of stability pointing toward a future of quiet domesticity. Jenelle courts chaos, and nothing would throw her life into disarray like ditching her fiance for her deeply troubled ex. We’re not saying that’s what’s going to happen, mind you. We’re just saying when it comes to Jenelle, no possibility should be ruled out. The fact is, Jenelle and Courtland were both pretty terrible to each other, but they were also both in the grips of debilitating addictions. We hope for the sake of everyone involved that Jenelle doesn’t try to rekindle her romance with Rogers, but we also hope she’s open to the idea of getting back in touch with Rogers. Exchanging hugs and apologies could prove tremendously beneficial for both of them. And as a bonus, their reunion would make for a solid Teen Mom 2 special. The Vampire Diaries Finale: 11 Shockers!

Who lived? Who died? Who found peace? And what does peace in The Vampire Diaries universe even mean? Following an episode finale of this beloved CW drama, it's time to take a look back at the most surprising, sentimental and downright stunning moments… 1. Goodbye to… … Stefan. He sacrified himself to save Damon, and all of Mystic Falls, really, holding Katherine at bay while Hell fire engulfed the past lovers in flames and destroyed both Katherine and Hell forever. 2. Hello to… … Elena! It wasn’t a surprise, considering Nina Dobrev made it known weeks ago, but Elena returned after Bonnie figured out how to break her spell. We saw her reunite with Damon and even find peace with her family (including Aunt Jenna and Uncle John!) in the show’s version of heaven to close out the finale. 3. And Also Hello to… … a lot of people. But let’s start with Klaus, who penned a letter to Caroline that explained his donation to her and Alaric’s new school for gifted children that read “Dearest Caroline, I have often imagined the paths your life might take, but your chosen future is more noble than I ever fathomed. Please accept this contribution to your virtuous cause. I do look forward to thanking you in person someday… however long it takes. Yours, Klaus.” 4. Other Returns Included… Lexi, who was waiting for Stefan in his version of heaven. We already mentioned Uncle John and Aunt Jenna, but Grams made an appearance to help Bonnie save the town and even Alaric’s, Jo, was seen smiling at her former husband… from the beyond. And let’s not forget about Sheriff Forbes! 5. So, Where are They Now? The show jumped forward a bit at the end, giving us a glimpse at what various characters decided to do with their lives after helping to save the world and everything. 6. Game of Thrones Season 7: Premiere Date Announced!

Summer is coming. Doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it, does it? But it remains true, and with summer will come the return of the most popular show on television. Via a Facebook Live “event” that was really just a block of ice slowly melting away to reveal a date, HBO announced today that Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere on July 16, 2017 . Mark your calendars. Set your DVR. And plan all vacations accordingly. The network has also unveiled the first official poster for this beloved series, which will debut in July for the first time in show history. The teaser image – first seen this week at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas – evokes a pair of the the iconic fantasy series’ favorite themes: Fire (typically represented by Daenerys and her “children,” of course). Ice (most commonly associated with northern son Jon Snow). What might this mean? You’re guess is as good as ours. But it’s safe to assume that Dany and Jon will finally meet this season. What else do we know at this time about Game of Thrones Season 7? According to a script that allegedly leaked , fans can look forward to the following storylines. (Consider yourselves SPOILER WARNED.) Jon Snow and Daenerys spend a great deal of the season together at Dragonstone. Arya and Sansa will be reunited, with the former essentially acting as a killing machine at this point. Under orders from Sana, Arya will kill Littlefinger. Cersei will be pregnant (no word yet on the identity of the father) and will form an alliance with Euron Greyjoy to do battle against Jon and Dany. Sam, Gilly and Bran will piece together that Jon Snow the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Jon will head north of the Wall to capture a wight and bring it back as evidence of the very dangerous threat that exists there. Oh, and The Night’s King will actually possesses Dany’s dragon Viserion and turn him into an ice dragon that destroys the fall. WHOA! This all should be taken with a grain of salt the size of Tyrion’s ego, of course. But it all sounds rather epic. No official announcement has been made, meanwhile, but Game of Thrones is expected to come to an end after Season 8. We have no idea what we’ll do on Sunday nights after that. Child Interrupts Weather Report, Lets One Rip

Consider yourselves warned, loyal THG readers: The following clip really stinks. It features meteorologist Patrick Ellis of Mississippi’s WLBT, who is just going about his business of reporting on the weather when the child of a legal expert (who made an earlier appearance on the broadcast) wanders into the frame. How cute, right? How precious and adorable, no? No. Not exactly. Not after what the child proceeds to do and say. Live on the air during the 6 o'clock forecast on Saturday, March 4, the very young man shrikes in excitement before letting a very loud fart rip from his buttocks. “We’ve got a little bit of, uh, interesting things going on right now,” Ellis says, trying to keep his cool as the kid moves closer to cut the cheese. Smiling and yet remaining professional, Ellis invites the child to help him with the forecast. “Yeah, there are farts everywhere and toots,” he says. “It’s crazy.” It sure is! The child's father then swoops in to remove his smelly son from the area. It's pretty amazing all around… and it isn't the first time we've reported on an unusual weather report interruption . Chloe Lattanzi: Olivia Newton-John’s Daughter Reveals "Disastrous" Boob Job

Chloe Lattanzi is the daughter of beloved actress and former pop star Olivia Newton-John. The 31-year-old model and aspiring singer is making tabloid headlines today thanks to her eye-opening comments about the horrors of plastic surgery gone awry on Tuesday's episode of The Doctors. Lattanzi revealed that she underwent her first cosmetic procedure when she was just 18 – and has regretted it ever since. “All those things were a disaster,” Lattanzi said when asked about the multiple breast implants she received in her teens and early twenties. “Not only did the lip implants look ridiculous, the first boob op I had in Australia when I was 18, left me looking mutilated.” Thirteen years and more than half a million dollars in cosmetic surgery later, Lattanzi says she's finally happy with her appearance. “Now I’m a 32DD and I love my body and love showing my new boobs off,” she said today. “Mom supported my surgery decisions because she knew how unhappy I was before.” Sadly, plastic surgery disasters are not unusual in Hollywood, but they usually become closely-guarded secrets. It's a rare to see a public figure such as Lattanza open up about such nightmarish experiences, and hopefully her candidness will help young people avoid similar misfortunes. These days, Lattanza says she's happier and healthier than ever. She's soon to release an album; she's engaged; and she recently moved to Oregon to open a marijuana dispensary with her fiance. The Bachelor Finale Preview: A Love I’ve Never Felt Before

Vanessa Grimaldi or Raven Gates? The Bachelor spoilers have told us how this epic season ends for months, and soon we'll know for sure. In this season finale preview, however, it looks like Nick Viall was confused, worried and unsure about the decision at hand until the end. After giving roses to Raven and Vanessa and setting Rachel Lindsay free to be The Bachelorette on last night's episode, the end is near. Is Nick still hedging as to who he'll propose to, though? “I came here to find a love that I’ve never felt before and a love that has the strength to last a lifetime,” Viall says in the preview clip. “So now, I feel lucky because I’m so in love.” The only problem, of course, is that he's fallen for two special people and when it comes to The Bachelor winner , there can be only one. One rose, and Neil Lane ring, to rule them all. Nick’s optimism is also dampened by the fact that his previous  Bachelor  franchise experiences with love have ended in heartbreak. Not for the women involved, but for him. “I’m in love with these two women, but I’ve been incredibly terrified because I was very much in love with Andi and Kaitlyn,” he says. “And I was really heartbroken both times.” “And I’m terrified that will happen again.” Viall made back-to-back finales of The Bachelorette only to watch Andi Dorfman (2014) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (2015) chose the other suitor. Part of him is therefore knows he'll be breaking someone's heart imminently, while also wondering if his decision will be the right one. Nick’s fears clearly manifest themselves throughout the final episode, as he brings up these concerns about the women and the process. His family serves as the sounding board. “There’s no denying how confident I was with Andi and Kaitlyn in the moment,” he admits, adding that he's scared about what must be done. “So I think I would be lying if I were to make some grand answer how different this is [or will know] once I make that decision.” “All I have to do is figure out which one I feel in my heart is best for me and I hope and pray that they will feel the same way.” Doesn't make it any easier. Nick adds: “It’s very hard to comprehend how strong I feel for each of these women, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen and I’m running out of time.” Who do you think it will be? Robert Osborne Dies: Beloved Turner Classic Movies Host Was 84

You may not recognize the name Robert Osborne, but if you’re a fan of the Turner Classic Movies network, you almost certainly recognize his face. For 23 years, Osborn was the face of TCM, the number one cable destination for lovers of Old Hollywood and budding young filmmakers alike. A respected film historian and preservationist, Osborne was hand-selected by Ted Turner when the network launched in 1994. He was on the air to introduce the network’s very first film, Gone With the Wind, on April 14, 1994. “Robert was embraced by devoted fans who saw him as a trusted expert and friend,” TCM general manager Jennifer Dorian said in a statement released moments ago. “His calming presence, gentlemanly style, encyclopedia knowledge of film history, fervent support of film preservation and highly personal interviewing style all combined to make him a truly world-class host.” Dorian added: “Robert’s contributions were fundamental in shaping TCM into what it is today, and we owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.” In addition to his time at TCM, Osborne worked as a columnist for The Hollywood Reporter for several decades. His “Rambling Reporter” column ran in the magazine from 1983 to 2009 and was considered a must-read amongst industry insiders. Tributes to Osborne began pouring in on social media within minutes of the announcement of this death, thus making the beloved TV icon a worldwide trending topic within minutes: “Very sad to hear about Robert Osborne passing. I programmed on TCM with him in 2015 & it was a treat. He couldn’t have been more charming,” tweeted filmmaker Edgar Wright. “Robert Osborne was a class act, a true gentleman & his historical nuggets as TCM host made watching those great old movies even better. RIP,” wrote Larry King. “All of us are better for having known him – I know I am,” said Osborne’s longtime co-star Ben Mankiwiecz. “So saddened by the death of Robert Osborne of @tcm. He helped spark my interest in classic films. He was a special man,” tweeted Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak. One Twitter user suggested perhaps the best method of paying tribute to a man whose life was so fully devoted to the cinema: “I think the best way to honor the life of Robert Osborne is to watch as many classic films as possible.
