The Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer: Who Dies?!?

AMC has released the premiere date and the first official trailer for  The Walking Dead Season 7 . First, we can confirm that new episodes of the cable smash hit will kick off on Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c. This exciting tidbit was dropped today at Comic-Con in San Diego. Next, we can offer fans a look at scenes from fall installments, as the network has also unveiled the first extended Walking Dead Season 7 preview. We need to first warn you that, no, the identity of the man or woman on the receiving end of Negan's baseball bat is not revealed in the video below. We still don't know which series regular will not be with us come October. (Although we have our theories!) The intriguing trailer opens with misty water-colored memories of all the characters (and we mean ALL the character) who might be coming back just long enough to say a violent farewell. We also get a glimpse one of the new settings to come this year, along with a character from the graphic novel series who is making his long-anticipated debut. Oh, yes, you can watch here for your first look of Ezekiel (played by newcomer Khary Payton), the ma in charge of a never-before-seen community of survivors known as The Kingdom. Let's just say he has a pet tiger. He also appears to have the kind of resources that Rick may need to defeat Negan once and for all. (Assuming Rick survives, that is, but come on. Derick Dillard: SLAMMED For Controversial Photo of Baby Israel!

These days, it seems hardly a week goes by without the Duggar family being embroiled in some sort of controversy. Often, the complaints from fans and detractors are legitimate (We won’t even bother to rehash the many ugly chapters of the Josh Duggar sex scandals .), but sometimes they’re classic cases of manufactured Internet outrage. The latest kerfuffle – having to do with the above photo of baby Israel that was posted by Derick Dillard last night – seems to be somewhere in between, but leans closer to the latter category. In anticipation of the Oklahoma State University football season (It’s still July, Der! Chill!) Dillard posted the above photo with a caption reading: “Pistols firing! Only 45 days til some OSU cowboy football starts! Go Pokes!” Fans saw two causes for complaint, both of which smacked of serious nit-picking. View Slideshow: Jill Duggar Baby Photos For one, there was baby Izzy’s hand gesture and Derick’s caption, which some believed to be insensitive in the wake of recent gun violence. Far be it for us to defend anyone in the Duggar clan (even if they happen to be a Dillard), but Pistol Pete has been the OSU mascot for decades, and it’s not like Derick put an actual gun in the kid’s hand. The other complaint is almost as baffling, as several fans took issue with the placement of the straps on Israel’s car seat: “Good god someone please adjust that child’s chest clip. That’s horrific,” wrote one follower, instigating a tense debate about the importance of car seat safety. The whole thing was reminiscent of the time Jinger Duggar was criticized for failing to properly secure Josh and Anna’s 4-year-old son. Ben Higgins Confirms Congressional Run in Colorado

Ben Higgins officially wants your vote. The former Bachelor contestant has made the political rumor into a reality, announcing today that he is running as a Republican in Colorado’s House District 4. This Denver State House district that is predominantly Democratic and Higgins will be facing off against Democratic Representative Dan Pabon, according to The Associated Press. Higgins is 28 years old. He’s best only known for having starred on the latest season of The Bachelor. We can’t guarantee that Higgins will keep any promises he makes on the campaign trail, but he has thus far kept his vow to marry Lauren Bushnell. The couple has somehow managed to keep its romance intact, several months after filming concluded. Some time later this year, Higgins and Bushnell will even star on the very first Bachelor spin-off to track the lives of a pairing that met on the series. Higgins had previously said the following to Us Weekly: “People reach out to me about community development and planning and how to counsel places that need help, which is really cool because it isn’t something I necessarily had a platform on before, other than my service, and so through all of that the next question was post-Bachelor, this platform that I now had, what should we do with that? “And one of the first things that came to mind was I’ve always had a large interest in politics.” Higgins, of course, has no actual experience in politics. Dennis Green Dies; Former NFL Coach Was 67

Dennis Green, the NFL coach who famously led the Minnesota Vikings to a 15-1 season and two NFC Championship games, has passed away. Green was 67 years old. His passing was confirmed in a statement issued by Green’s family this morning: “Dennis passed away last night from complications of cardiac arrest,” the statement read. “His family was by his side and he fought hard.” Green served as head coach of the Vikings and Arizona Cardinals for a total of 13 seasons. Though his career ended with a disappointing tenure in Arizona, which saw the team suffer three straight losing seasons, Green remained a beloved figure amongst both players and fans. As well known for his soft-spoken demeanor as for his strategic brilliance, Green is remembered by many for his famous “they are who we thought they were” press conference, in which he shed his calm facade and revealed the passion that his players had known for years. Social media tributes to Green from fans and former colleagues began pouring in the moment that news of his passing was made public. “Very sad to hear about the loss of fmr @AZCardinals coach Dennis Green – he will always be remembered as a pioneer for sport of football,” wrote Senator John McCain. “Please don’t remember him for his “rant.” Remember him as leader with a rare offensive mind who dared to be great,” tweeted commentator Skip Bayless. Calvin Harris: Ready To Expose And Destroy Taylor Swift???

July 2016 is not a month Taylor Swift will look back on fondly. Yes, she’s getting her romance on with The Night Manager ‘s Tom Hiddleston, but she was also hung out to dry by both Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris . Harris was angry that Swift took credit for his song, “This is What You Came For,” with Rihanna.  That led to a series of tweets from the usually quiet DJ. “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” Harris tweeted on July 13th. According to In Touch Weekly , Harris is prepared for whatever backlash is coming his way next. “if Taylor pushes him again, he’s going to expose and destroy her,” a source told the tabloid. Michael Phelps: MARRIED to Nicole Johnson?! Rumors Surface in Run-Up to Olympics!

Hard to believe, but it’s been 16 years since Michael Phelps put the swimming world on notice – and became a household name. Becoming the youngest male to make the U.S. Olympic team in nearly 7 decades, the Baltimore Bullet quickly became a legend. This year, he will compete in his fifth Olympic games, and needless to say, a lot has changed in his life in the years since he first hit the global stage. In February of last year, Phelps got engaged to Nicole Johnson . In May, Phelps welcomed his first child , a boy named Boomer. Needless to say, he’s come a long way since the brash, occasionally trouble-prone young man we met so many years ago. And now, there are rumors that Phelps, still only 31, may have recently passed another milestone in his personal life. You may have seen the headlines pop up in your social media feed: Something along the lines of ” Is Michael Phelps Married ?” Well, as it happens, that question mark is there for a reason. Because, as far as anyone knows, Phelps and Johnson did not get hitched in a quickie pre-Rio ceremony, as some folks are claiming. We imagine the couple will walk down the aisle shortly after the games, but thus far, they have yet to announce any specific plans. And why rush things at this point? They already have a baby together, and despite global health concerns, Phelps is going to the Olympics, not war. They may as well wait, and hopefully Phelps will come home with some new hardware to wear to the ceremony. Just kidding; there’s no way the guy could walk with all the medals he’s won around his neck at this point. So our premature congrats go out to Michael and Nicole! All these two have to do now is steer clear of those Brazilian mosquitoes and put past mistakes behind them. Sorry, Taylor Lianne Chandler . We couldn’t resist.

Jon Gosselin: Quitting T.G.I Friday’s, All Our Fault

Before yesterday, Jon Gosselin was happy working the grill at T.G.I. Friday’s. Well, now he’s going to quit.  Why?  Because we’re all a bunch of jerks for revealing his job. TMZ first reported that Gosselin was part of the kitchen staff at the Lancaster, PA franchise, accompanied by a selfie Gosselin took with two other employees. It’s believed that one of Gosselin’s co-workers sold the story (and photo) to the media outlet. Gosselin had reportedly been working there for a few months before being found out, and yesterday morning he tweeted his disappointment (which has since been deleted) at TMZ , and the internet in general. Gosselin was furious that a job he was “passionate” about was being used as tabloid fodder.  AND he was donating his paycheck to charity. “I’m not going to work there anymore because now the trust and the teamwork is gone,” Gosselin told 103.7 in Dallas on July 20th. “Now someone took a picture of me and sold it … Now I gotta leave a job I was passionate about.” The restaurant’s general manager, Scott Trompeter told Page Six how much he liked having Gosselin as an employee . “He works here because he likes to cook,” Trompeter said.  “He cooks during the day for me and sometimes here and there.  He’s done a great job the last couple of months.  He’s part of my Friday’s family.” View Slideshow: 15 Couples Who Fell Apart on Reality Television As of today, the restaurant’s rep told Page Six that Gosselin hasn’t yet left Friday’s. “His employment with us as a team member is in good standing,” the rep said. Robber Uses Human Brain to Get High, Names Brain "Freddy"

Well, this is … digusting. He’s currently serving time in a Pennsylvania jail for burglary, but what’s one more pending charge? 26-year-old Joshua Long is now facing accusations that he used a human brain to get high , according to the Huffington Post .   He was charged on July 15th with “abuse of a corpse.”   Long’s aunt found evidence (the evidence being the brain) under the porch of a trailer that once belonged to her sister, Angela Micklo and Robby Zoller, who are currently on the lam from police for robbery.   She was cleaning the place when she came across it, and called police immediately. The brain was in a display container inside a Walmart bag.   Apparently the formaldehyde used to preserve the organ can also get someone super high.   The term authorities use is “wet” marijuana, where you soak the drug in the formaldehyde before inhaling. Long and Zoller used to smoke this wet marijuana together, and had left the evidence behind.  Under a porch.  In a trailer park.  Poor brain. According to police records, Long and Micklo nicknamed their temporary toy “Freddy” during their prison conversations, an apparent code name. The brain was brought to Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall, where it’s believed that it was used for teaching purposes. “At this point now we’re just trying to figure out where it came from,” Trooper Robert Hicks told the press. “We’re hoping that if anyone is missing a human specimen brain to bring it to our attention and maybe we can return it to its rightful owner.”  Pat Beck, a neighbor in the trailer park, was shocked when she saw police arrive. “It just scares me to death,” she told Fox 43. “I didn’t think they were that kind of people, but nowadays, you never know.” View Slideshow: 23 Dumb Tweets That Have Actually Been Sent

Michelle Suzanne Hadley Poses as Ex-Boyfriend’s Pregnant Wife, Responds to Craigslist Rape Ads

A California woman is accused of posing as her ex’s pregnant wife and responding to Craiglist fantasy rape ads with her contact info. Seriously. That takes a rare kind of twisted human … In other words, she pretended to be ex-boyfriend’s pregnant wife with the goal of getting strangers on Craigslist to go and rape the wife. Literal, sociopathic, life-sentence revenge porn. Michelle Suzanne Hadley, 29, was arrested last month. She appeared in court this past Monday, July 18 and was charged with 10 felonies. Most notable among them? Stalking despite a restraining order, making threats, assault and attempted forcible rape, CBS News reports. Yes, attempted forcible rape. Even though other people were the ones trying to commit said rape, Hadley was the catalyst for this act. Hadley was involved a two-year relationship in 2014-15 with the victim’s husband, a U.S. Marshals Service agent, according to authorities. They split up, and he began dating his now-wife, whose identity has not been released; “Jane Doe” is what she’s called in court documents. Prosecutors say Hadley sent photos of “Jane Doe” to men, and details about her daily schedule so they knew when she would be alone. “Hadley is accused of telling the [Craigslist] responders that the victim wanted the responders to have forcible intercourse with her.” The D.A.’s office said, per the L.A. Times: “Even if she screamed or resisted.” As a result of the ads and Hadley’s responses, several men showed up at Jane Doe’s home in Anaheim, Calif., with the intent of raping her. Fortunately, they were unsuccessful. One of them attacked her, but fled as she called for help; Hadley was subsequently arrested by the Anaheim Police Department on June 24. She was released on $100,000 bail, after which authorities said she continued to threaten Jane Doe in emails and respond to rape ads. Police arrested Hadley again on July 14, and raised the bail amount to $1 million. If convicted on all counts, she may never be released. She faces up to LIFE in state prison. Orange County Deputy District Attorney Richard Zimmer summed it up as well as one can when he told a local ABC television station: “The fact that somebody would go to such lengths to get some sort of revenge on an innocent person, it’s pretty shocking.” To say the least.  View Slideshow: Strange But True News Hall of Fame

Chelsea Houska: Baby Gender Revealed?!

As we reported last week, Chelsea Houska is expecting her second child . This time she’s not knocked up by douchey baby daddy number one, Adam Lind, but rather, by her new fiance Cole De Boer . (As far as we know, all the rumors that Chelsea and Cole are secretly married have been debunked.) So right off the bat, she’s in a much better position than she was during her first pregnancy. In addition to the superior seed-planter, Chelsea is also well-off and no longer a teenager, but even so, she’s admitted to being nervous about baby number two . In the weeks since she announced her pregnancy, the Housk has taken to social media to fret about everything from the delivery to the baby’s gender. That second issue may already be resolved, however, as according to her latest tweets, Chelsea knows just what color to paint the nursery: “Has anyone used the Ramzi Theory to guess the baby’s gender?! If so, was it correct?! I want some1 to tell me what mine is according to it,” Chelsea wrote, along with a picture of her sonogram. For the uninitiated, the Ramzi Method is a generally reliable means of determining the gender of a baby at about six weeks by analyzing a sonogram. But it requires an expert. Fortunately, that’s exactly what everyone on the Internet is. So Twitter came together, crunched some numbers, carried some ones, and came up with this: There you have it, America. Chelsea is having a boy, thus spake a bunch of strangers on social media. Hopefully she’ll talk to an actual doctor before she stocks up on blue crap.
