We've made our predictions for what will be revealed on the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 4 Tell All special . That special has already been filmed, however, on Mother's Day weekend. Fans were surprised — some were even shocked — when Jay Smith posted a genuinely sweet tribute to his ex, Ashley Martson. Remember, she's the mother of two children. Now, Ashley tells In Touch Weekly that she doesn't really take Jay's post at face value. If he'd really meant it, she says, he would have done things differently. … 1. Things are tense Ashley and Jay are over, and it looks like Ashley would prefer that Jay keep her name out of his mouth — and off of his social media — for the time being. 2. On Sunday, Jay shocked fans by singing Ashley’s praises “You are a kind, generous and loving human being,” Jay’s surprising Mother’s Day tribute began. 3. Then he dialed things up a notch. Jay went on to call Ashley “a strong woman, and one that I am lucky to know and proud to love.” Notice that he said love, in the present tense. 4. It was all very sweet “Happy Mother’s Day, @ashleye_90,” he concluded the now-deleted Instagram post. 5. It looked like a charming olive branch A few weeks ago, Jay sounded a lot more defensive, insisting that he was not a “little boy” who would knock up a mistress, and suggesting that at least some of the reports of his cheating were blown out of proportion. 6. So was he trying to make nice? No. Well, maybe. If he really wanted to make peace with Ashley, he did it in the wrong way. View Slideshow
Are we currently witnessing the lowest period in Jenelle Evans' life so far? It kind of feels like it, right? Which is pretty wild to consider, since she had that whole heroin addiction thing a few years back. But right now, at this very moment in time, Jenelle doesn't have custody of any of her three children. And honestly, the chances of her getting them back aren't looking all that great. 1. Let’s Go OK, so all of this Jenelle stuff … it’s a lot, you know? So grab a drink, maybe a snack, and let’s get into every little last depressing detail of this mess. 2. Justice for Nugget You know how it starts: after a few years of a steady downward spiral, David kicked things up about a billion notches when he beat and then shot Jenelle’s French bulldog puppy, Nugget, for nipping at little Ensley. 3. So Sad As we understand it, all the kids who live at the house were there when it happened, and since David reportedly came back inside “covered in blood,” it’s easy to imagine that they may have been a little traumatized. 4. Sure Thing, Girl Jenelle pretended like she was considering divorce for a few days, but when David nearly went to jail because he was unable to pay the child support for his son, Kaden, she ran back into his creepy, dog-murdering arms. 5. Thank Goodness Fortuntely, not everyone was so quick to forgive him. The local sheriff’s department and animal control opened up a joint investigation against him, and after that, things got intense quick. 6. Nathan to the Rescue One of the detectives on the case got in touch with CPS to suggest that the children should be removed from David’s care, and last Friday, Nathan and/or his mother, Doris, picked Kaiser up from daycare. The Duggar family has been at the heart of countless controversies over the course of their many years in the public eye. Of course, they've always maintained the position that only God can judge them, but considering how many times the word “neighbor” comes up in the Bible, well … Jim Bob and company might want to spare some concern for the folks who live near them and what they have to say. If you follow the family closely, you're probably aware the Duggars and their neighbors don't always get along. In fact, Jim Bob has been derided as a greedy, status-seeking, wannabe tyrant. But is that a fair assessment, or is the family-man-turned-media-mogul being judged too harshly? Take a look at the evidence and decide for yourself: 1. The Power Couple Jim Bob and Michelle may have started their relationship under humble circumstances, but 19 kids, millions of dollars, and one semi-failed political career later, it’s clear that they always had big aspirations. 2. More Than a Media Mogul Jim Bob is many things: a former state senator, a father of 19, and the overseer of a burgeoning media empire — but he still aspires to more. 3. Aspiring Land Baron Jim Bob’s tendency to buy up large tracts of land for commercial use has frequently caused him to clash with his neighbors. 4. The Family Business Jim Bob and several of his children are involved in the business of flipping cars and properties. 5. Bucking Tradition Though working women are rarely seen in the evangelical world the Duggars inhabit, Jim Bob has permitted some of his daughters, including Jana, to take part in these ventures, which should serve as an indication of how serious he is about this aspect of his empire. 6. A Conservative Crowd Obviously, both real estate development and selling used cars require large tracts of land. And so, Jim Bob is constantly buying up acres, much to the chagrin of some of his neighbors, who may be resistant to change. View Slideshow
Not content with merely forcing Bethenny Frankel to reveal her sexual history in court , Jason Hoppy’s attorney is trying a new tactic. He tried to catch her in a lie under oath — using a clip from The Real Housewives of New York City , of all things. Bethenny defended herself by pointing out that reality television is, well, super fake. Page Six reports that Bethenny Frankel was once again in court for her ongoing custody battle against her despised ex. At the May 13 hearing, Jason Hoppy’s attorney brought up something that she had said in an April episode of RHONY . “I kept in the middle of the night waking up and asking my friends, ‘Is [Dennis] really dead?’” Bethenny said on the episode. “I [was] going through denial,” she confessed on Bravo. Bethenny explained: “because I would imagine a sudden death from an overdose is extremely different than just knowing someone is going to die from cancer.” While testifying in court, Bethenny said that she did not know for a fact that Dennis Shields had died of an overdose. On the one hand, that could illustrate that Bethenny allegedly knew with certainty that her ex had died of an overdose, but refused to say so in court. On the other hand, people sometimes choose different words for reality television than they would in real life. “I wonder why he’s working late” becomes “he is CHEATING on her,” because you know that cameras are rolling. It’s would not be unprecedented in the reality television business for certain scenes to be aired out of order to make a more cohesive story. When Jason’s attorney brought up her exchange, Bethenny wanted to know what his point was. “What is it you want me to answer?” Bethenny asked. “About the show or about my life?” She was already making it clear that these are different, often separate things. Bethenny also pointed out that the show is heavily edited because it exists to entertain, not to merely document. If Jason decides to challenge that, she could call in no shortage of celebrity witnesses who have made the exact same statement. In court, Bethenny elaborated upon how shows like RHONY operate. “[It’s] a show you shoot for seven days to get 40 minutes,” Bethenny explained. As a result, she reasoned, “I can never specifically say that’s what happened.” Cameras can cut away at any moment and audio can be mixed in. “Even if you have a transcript,” Bethenny shares. “It might not be what I said.” Jason’s attorney continued to quiz Bethenny about the show, causing her to reply with exasperation. “I don’t know,” Bethenny quipped. “You are more of a fan than I am.” He continued to press the issue, suggesting that the court could spend its time watching reality television. “I would have to show the witness the episode of the show,” the attorney suggested. “We can have a viewing party.” Thankfully, that sort of theatrical nonsense is up to the judge to decide. Judge Katz gave Jason’s attorney’s idea big ol’ thumbs down. “I do think it is bizarre [to ask about the show],” Katz stated in court. “We are taking this reality television show that was meant for entertainment value,” Katz continued. “And supplanting testimony.” We cannot speak to Katz’s full judicial record, but that is some sound reasoning. So many people seem to think that reality television is some sort of candid camera, akin to surveillance footage. It is anything but. It’s entertainment. The bad news just keeps on coming for Jenelle Evans and David Eason. And as usual, the controversial couple has no one but themselves to blame. In the weeks since David shot and killed Jenelle's dog, all hell has broken loose on the struggling homestead the Easons have dubbed “The Land.” First, Jenelle's son Kaiser was removed from her care . Shortly thereafter, Ensley and Maryssa Eason were removed from The Land by Child Protective Services. Now, it looks as though the authorities may be going to even greater lengths to ensure that David is unable to put his children in harm's way. Take a look: 1. The Beginning of the End In the weeks before he shot and killed the family dog in a fit of rage, David seemed to be spending more time with his kids than usual. Needless to say, those days are done. 2. Barren Land David says he killed the dog to protect his children, but investigators aren’t buying it. At this point, there are no more children living on Jenelle and David’s property. 3. Goodbye to Kai First to be removed from the property was 4-year-old Kaiser, who has reportedly been placed with his father, Nathan Griffith. 4. Escorted to Safety Next, CPS intervened on behalf of Ensley, the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, and Maryssa, David’s 11-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. 5. Whereabouts Unknown There have been conflicting reports about where Ensley and Maryssa are living at the moment. But whatever the case, it seems David’s parenting skills have not improved in the days since they were removed from his care. 6. Tossed Out According to a new report from Radar Online, David was recently removed from a supervised visitation center after he lost his temper in the presence of CPS officials. View Slideshow
On the personal front, everything is going very well for Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff. How could it not be? Both are involved in very serious romantic relationships… and they just discovered they are gonna be grandparents again! Ineed, in case you haven’t heard, Tori Roloff is pregnant with her second child . Therefore, it should be an exciting time for the parents of four — and yet Tuesday night’s episode of Little People, Big World once again depicted the former spouses coming to verbal blows with one another. They remain as an impasse over the future of their business. On the latest installment of this TLC realty show, Amy returned from her trip to Michigan, still quite unsure about what she wanted to do with Roloff Family Farm. This has been the main topic of debate between her and Matt throughout this latest season of the series. “I just want to make the best decision,” Amy told the camera of why she’s taken so long here to arrive at a conclusion, adding: “Moving out of a house that I never really thought I’d move out of years ago. … to think about that now is a little daunting. It is a little scary, it’s a little intimidating because I’ve never really been on my own before.” Totally understandable, right? This makes it sound as if moving in with boyfriend Chris Marek isn’t on the table. But that’s a question for another day. The focus of this week’s episode was not on Amy’s relationship with Chris, but on the one with her ex-husband instead. When Amy revealed her hesitation to Matt, he once again grew exasperated that there was no movement in her mind, telling her he would be happy with either the buyout or switching sides of the farm. Unlike the mother of his kids, Matt knows he wants to move on from the current state of the farm and his ongoing role in its daily upkeep. Amy, however, thought his flexibility was just another negotiation tactic. “I don’t trust it,” she said in a confessional “This isn’t just a business decision, it’s a little personal for me.” These exes have remained quite amicable since their divorce in 2016, but Matt has become very inpatient with Amy this season. He even said she was holding him and his dreams hostage a few weeks ago. “Matt has a strong personality, and one that I’ve adapted over the years we were together,” Amy continued last night, saying she had learned in the years since their divorce to take the following tact: “Stand your ground and don’t let life push you around, including Matt.” We don’t think Matt is trying to be a bully in any way here. He recently slammed actual bullies who have been giving Amy a hard time on social media. But he does want an answer and does want to know when Amy will give him one. “She’s being a little bit, in my mind, selfish right now,” Matt said in the quote we reference above from an earlier episode of the TLC program last month. “I just don’t want to be held hostage anymore to [her] indecisiveness.” As always, it’s important to remember that what you see each week on Little People, Big World was filmed many months ago. In far more recent interviews together, Matt and Amy have discussed the mutual respect that still exists between them, despite their break-up. “We like to say: There’s no Team Matt and no Team Amy,” Matt told Us Weekly just two weeks ago. “It’s Team Roloff.” Amy agreed. “It’s about our family, it’s about our kids, it’s about our grandkids,” she said, while Matt concluded in this revealing chat: “We still drive each other crazy. But then we respect each other as well.” Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on TLC. View Slideshow: Little People, Big World: 19 Shocking Scandals… Exposed!
Lisa Vanderpump has been M.I.A. from many events on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. The reason for that is that she’s had a severe falling out with her co-stars. She’s on talking terms with new addition, Denise Richards. Beyond that, she’s kept herself away from the other women following PuppyGate. Tuesday’s episode found Lisa sharing the screen with Camille Grammer, once again, and the two women chatted about recent events, and a lie detector test came up somewhere in the conversation. Lisa couldn’t contain her excitement at the size of Camille’s engagement ring, saying that diamonds are sometimes “better friends than your friends.” “You know, those girls can be…” Camille said before Lisa butted in, “Yeah. They’ve been horrible. Horrible. And I don’t want to include you in that at all. Not at all.” The conversation shifted to Camille’s looming wedding. “If you were to come to my wedding — which, you know that I would love for you to be there — I would want you to feel comfortable within the group,” Camille said. “Of course I want you there, so will you come?” Lisa was at a loss because she did not want to spend any time with the others, and that’s why she had to decline the invitation. “I’ve always cared about you, you know that,” she said. “I just — I can’t make the wedding.” Camille was not impressed by the decision, but she understood her stance, noting that she would hate for her to feel “all this pressure from the ladies” at an event that be happy. “Well, you can invite me and cancel everyone else!” Lisa laughed. “As much as I want to see Camille get married, I’m not gonna put myself in that situation with them all against me,” LVP dished in a confessional. “Let the Real Bitches of Beverly Hills go on their own.” Lisa then realized that Camille was mad with the girls. “You’re upset with the girls? What do you mean?” LVP quickly asked, prompting Camille to open up about her fraught relationship with Teddi. “There’s a lot of love between you and a lot of these girls,” Camille added. “Especially Kyle.” Lisa felt like the other ladies planned on making her feel like a “terrible person” and that was not good. “What am I supposed to do? Take a lie-detector test? Is that what they want me to do?” she wondered. Camille admitted that were something off with Kyle ever since the argument and that they should fix things. “How she was when she came around here when she said, ‘I believe them and I don’t believe you’re a good friend and I believe you’re more concerned about your image than your friends,’ I was just like, ‘You might as well have hit me around the face,'” Lisa said. “And I was like, ‘Get out,’ but I also actually meant, ‘Get out of my life.'” “I’ve been there,” Camille said in a confessional. “I’ve had to sit there and have people call me delusional, a liar — and maybe I have more strength than she has because she runs away from it.” “Lisa’s never been a victim,” she continued. “She doesn’t live her life like a victim, but she’s behaving like she is one. It’s sad to see. This is not the Lisa that I knew.” “The Lisa that I knew would show up. What she’s doing is she’s running from everybody. It’s almost like this immature girl hiding from the truth. Lisa Vanderpump talks the talk, but I wanna see her walk the walk.” Camille wanted Lisa to remember how strong her connection with Kyle once was. “I think Kyle Richards just enjoyed throwing me under the bus a little too much, and unless she changed her position and apologized, I’ve got no intention of seeing her again,” Lisa countered. The wild episode concluded with a preview for next week’s episode which showed LVP hooked up to a lie detector to reveal the truth about what happened. “Have you ever given a story to Radar Online?” the administrator asks as Lisa replies, “This is quite tight, this blood pressure thing, isn’t it?” This is going to be good! Just a couple of weeks ago, Tori and Zach Roloff revealed that they want a whole “pack” of children . At the time, they said that they would just see what happens. They were sitting on a big secret. Tori and Zach are expecting baby #2! On Monday afternoon, Zach and Tori Roloff announced to Us Weekly that they’re once again expecting. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother!” the couple shared. We knew that they were hinting at this possibility recently, but we didn’t know that it would happen so soon! “We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” Tori and Zach gushed. This precious addition to the Roloff family is due in November. Just a couple of weeks ago, Zach and Tori gave a lengthy interview about their family planning. They spoke a lot about little Jackson — who is no longer a baby, but a toddler — and his development. He’s crossed a lot of milestones, which is encouraging to see. They also shared that they would love to have several children, but are in no rush to get there. Now we know that the two of them obviously knew about this pregnancy, but were waiting before they announced it to the world. Sunday, May 12, was Jackson’s birthday. He turned two years old! “Happy birthday to our sweet (not so) baby J!” Tori gushed in a beautiful Instagram tribute to her son. She continued: “I can not believe I have spent 2 years of my life with this kid.” “It goes by way too fast,” Tori observed. “Jackson,” she wrote. “You are so confident and I have loved watching your personality develop.” “You are becoming so silly,” Tori raved. “And always up for a good time!” “You are so easy going and smart,” she added. “I pray that you continue to face life head on the way you do,” she expressed. “And,” Tori wished, she would like to see him “continue to bring smiles to everyone’s faces effortlessly.” “I love you so much Jackson!” Tori announced. “Happy birthday!” “Can’t wait to see what is ahead this year!” Tori expressed to her fans and followers. She continued, writing: “thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us.” “And,” Tori concluded, she gave thanks to those who “passed along sweet notes to me!” She and Zach have used a Z and T party of three tag a few times on Instagram. Now, it looks like they’re going to need a new catchphrase, because by the end of the year, they’ll be a party of four! This is such happy, heart-melting news. We love that it was shared the day after Jackson’s birthday. It is widely recognized that a two-year age gap between siblings gives parents some breathing room but still allows the children to grow up as peers. (Too much of an age gap, and you’re looking at someone who spends more time as a caregiver than a sibling) Jackson is going to be an amazing big brother. We know that Amy and Matt must be over the moon about getting a new Roloff grandchild. View Slideshow: Tori Roloff Flaunts Stunning Beach Body, Post-Baby Weight Loss
Little People, Big World is a reality television show. This is not exactly a groundbreaking statement. As such, however, the long-running TLC series has faced the same criticism and the same questions that have faced all other reality television entries on the small screen. Which is to say that many viewers are often wondering the following: Is the series scripted? This speculation was spurred on about three years ago when Jacob Roloff quit the show , resigning with a controversial Instagram post that he claimed at the time called out the program for exactly what it is: An example of total phoney baloney, according to Jacob. “Producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points,” he shared in this message, jumping way high on a pedestal and adding: “For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health & happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I could not be a part of it as soon as I was able.” In this same post, Jacob referred to “storyline” and wrote of his loved ones: “They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them.” Years later, Jacob would sort of apologize for these remarks; or at least explain that he had since grown up and regretted making them. He’s now on great terms with these same loved ones, but the issue remains. The question hangs over the Roloffs. How much of what we see each week is natural and normal? And how much is produced or even flat-out written for Amy, Matt and their kids? “For the most part, we keep it real,” Amy Roloff told Us Weekly in a recent interview. “My kids are real. They’re grounded … Granted, here we’re filming three hours and then take the one moment that people will say, ‘Oh, it’s scripted.’ “I say, ‘No, it didn’t feel like the three hours that I was in.’ I like to think that we’re pretty honest, we’re pretty real – at least I am – sometimes to a fault.” In other words: The show is edited. And these edits may be done in such a way to emphasize a certain topic or disagreement in order to boost interest — such as Matt and Amy’s fight a couple weeks ago over the farm . But nothing you see is fake by any definition of that word. How has a show that started off as an idea for a one-off documentary lasted this long? How has it actually set a Guiness World Record ? In this same Us Weekly chat , Matt Roloff chalks it up to what he calls “Compromise TV.” He expounded on this theory as follows: “Compromise TV to me, that definition in my mind, basically means male, female, there’s something for everybody – any age groups, grandpas, grandmas, young kids. “Everybody has got something. “Whether it’s the relationship between Amy and I, or the babies, or the marriages, or the bulldozers and Track Hoes, we’ve got the big farm that has the beautiful backdrop.” View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Why They REALLY Quit Little People, Big World
