GiGi Wu was known as the Bikini Climber by her fans all over the world. Tragically, after a serious fall on her latest and final hike, she was unable to walk or even move. Wu died before rescue could arrive. Fans all over the world are mourning. GiGi Wu was a 36-year-old Taiwanese woman known as the “Bikini Climber.” She earned this moniker from her famous habit of mountain-climbing while wearing a bikini. Her latest adventure was a 25-day hike. It would also be her last. Taiwan News reports that Wu sutmbled and fell into a ravine in Central Taiwan’s Yushan Mountain. She dropped 65 feet. The injuries to Wu’s leg were severe enough that she was unable to walk or even move. She was able to call for help … but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Rescuers were unable to reach her for some time due to dangerous weather conditions. It was nearly 28 hours later when rescuers were able to airlift her out of the ravine. Tragically, Wu was pronounced dead. Her cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Many have (not unreasonably) assumed that Wu died from exposure to the elements. More than a day out in the cold could be bad on anyone. Spending more than a day injured in a ravine, underdressed, in weather too dangerous for rescuers to reach you? That sounds horrifying. We should also keep in mind that her serious injuries would have been a strong contributing factor. GiGi Wu’s story and photos touched the hearts and minds of counltess climbing enthusiasts all over the world. When the news of her death first broke, the comments on her photos on Facebook were flooded with comments. “Thank you for bringing us countless beautiful scenery, blessings to your soul,” writes one mourner. “In the eyes of people who like climbing, you are a standard, professional climber, admirable!” comments another. That same commenter concludes: “Be an angel in your favorite mountain forest.” Those are some truly beautiful, heartwarming sentiments. There is no method of climbing mountains or hiking that is entirely risk-free. There are, however, steps to mitigate your risks and dangers. Usually, the best tool that you can have in your belt is experience. Wu had no shortage of that. Remember, this tragedy took place during a 25-day hike . We do not know what sort of equipment she may have had (aside from her bikini) with her, but it is almost impossible to “prepare” for a deadly fall. Everything about this story is heartbreaking. Our thoughts go out to Wu’s friends, family, loved ones, and to her fans. They are all grieving and mourning at this time as they grapple with this sudden loss, and the concept of Wu’s final hours.
Well folks, it looks like the neverending feud between Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans has kicked into high gear once again. The latest round of trash talk comes from a surprising source — Jenelle’s controversial mother, Barbara Evans. Over the weekend Jenelle joined co-star Briana DeJesus for an impromptu Instagram Live session that featured some boozy cameos from Babs. “My mom and I are out of town for a mother/daughter weekend and filming our trip,” Jenelle told her followers. “We had some drinks at dinner and came back to the Airbnb to drink a little more. I randomly got on Instagram and saw Brittany [DeJesus] was live so I decided to join in, especially since my mom was with me.” At one point, an obviously intoxicated Barbara “joked” that she wants to ” kill Kail ” — a remark that Lowry and many others didn’t find particularly humorous. During the live feed, Babs received a call from Teen Mom 2 co-executive producer Kristen Schylinski who was understandably less than thrilled with the situation. “I need you to tell Kail that you are joking… there’s a huge sh-t storm… ,“ Kristen told Barbara on the phone. “How could you say that? …Tell her you were joking because you are, you don’t want to kill Kail,” “So earlier, I was talking to Brittany, Briana’s sister, and I said that I wanted to kill Kail and it was, everybody took it out of perspective because that’s not really what I meant. I was just doin’ a joke,” Babs slurred during the live session. “Yeah, it was only a joke,” she added. “I was only joking with Brittany, it was like I was being sarcastic, so I mean, and everybody like freaks out like I wanna go and kill the girl. “Come on, I’ve know the girl for 10 years…You can’t say anything in the public without people like freaking out, saying ya know, ‘I’m gonna go out and kill the girl with a gun.’” “It was a stupid f-king joke, just chill the f-ck out,” Jenelle quipped in response to her mom’s apology. Not surprisingly, Kail fails to see the humor in the situation. “I’m not filming until something is done,” Kail told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on Monday. “It’s about the principle at this point,” Lowry added. “The producers say they’re handling it. I gave them my attorney’s info and told the producers to contact my attorney and not to contact me.” Yes, it seems Kail is “pulling a Jenelle” by refusing to film, but unlike Mrs. Eason, she has good reason for taking a stand. Not surprisingly, Jenelle is doing her best to downplay the situation, as she’s likely well aware that if producers are forced to choose between her and Kail, they’re sure to go with the latter option. Jenelle tells Hollywood Life that Barb “is really upset everyone took it the wrong way and is still upset about it at this moment,” but then she then proceeds to make light of the situation. “My producer understood [it was a joke] and just reminded my mom not to use those types of words because of how offended the world gets these days,” Jenelle told the site. “We haven’t received anymore calls from our other producers so I guess they know my mom’s intentions were just to make a joke,” she added. “My mom doesn’t like Kail because my mom knows that Kail is a troublemaker and experienced it firsthand at the last reunion that I did not attend last season.” Sounds like Jenelle is eager to move on from the situation, but Kail — and the show’s producers — may not feel the same. Sometimes, you have a recipe for disaster — real world, scary disaster. Leida Margaretha accused Eric Rosenbrook of abuse and the couple called the police. Since then, we have learned a lot more about the alleged incident — both sides have confirmed aspects of the story. 1. This is serious On January 20, 2019, Leida and Eric were visited by police. It was very early Sunday morning, and the married 90 Day Fiance couple had just had a fight. 2. Leida accused Eric of domestic violence In a series of “leaked” messages, Leida claimed that Eric had pulled her hair painfully — and that wasn’t the most upsetting part. 3. Read Leida’s words for yourself As you can see, she says that she had thratened suicide, but that Eric had taken the knife from her — it was after this, Leida writes, that he abused her. 4. She says she doesn’t want to live with him anymore These text messages were “leaked” — we’ll get into that later. 5. Kim Kardashian may actually just have declared peace with Taylor Swift. And we can’t believe it. Or can we? The reality star posted a story on Snapchat featuring her glam look, but it wasn’t her flawless skin that fans cared about. Nope. It was the fact that Taylor’s hit song ‘Delicate’ was playing in the background of the video. Obviously, fans went crazy over the subtle gesture the 38-year-old made and we all are wondering the same thing: could it be true? Needless to say, the video caused some speculation that Kim was definitely trying to make amends. Some fans found the whole situation humorous and Hollywood Life shares tweets from @g1veharryaoscar who says, “Lmao Kim Kardashian listening to delicate is the funniest thing omg.” And @EllieLouisaaa wrote “Hahahaahahaha Kim Kardashian is listening to Delicate by Taylor Swift on her story aw cute x.” Other fans (probably Taylor’s) found the whole situation very hypocritical though. “What’s the most ironic thing you’ve seen happen? – Kim listening to Taylor’s song pretending she didn’t try to sabotage her career,” tweeted @delicate_styles and “The delicate lyrics included ‘my reputation has never been worse’ and Kim and her husband are directly responsible for that so how about she goes and buys herself a conscience.” While the insult may be harsh, it’s not necessarily wrong. The song is clearly a love anthem to boyfriend Joe Alwyn, but it’s also about Kim and Kanye’s fallout with the singer back in 2016. Taylor’s takedown album was partly targeted at Kim and Kanye, along with other past romances, but the album clearly expresses that Taylor… yeah, she’s not a fan of the married couple. In case you somehow missed out on all the drama back in 2016, Kim shared a video (also on Snapchat) of her husband calling Taylor to approve of a lyric about her in his song “Famous.” Taylor claimed she had never approved of the line. The media, along with Kim, quickly branded the singer – a snake. Welcome to album number 6, Reputation During the kickoff night on the Reputation tour, Taylor explained and opened up to all of her fans about why snakes were such a prominent symbol for her tour, according to The Washington Post. She told her loyal fans, “a couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media. And I went through some really low times for a while because of it.” Taylor then concluded with an inspirational speech on how to not let bullies bring you down and that you shouldn’t care about what people think of you, especially if they don’t know you. She might not be aware of it, but we’ve been beefing with Wendy Williams here at The Hollywood Gossip for many years now. We simply haven’t been able to stand the way she desperately seeks attention by making cruel, outlandish statements about her fellow celebrities. You know, like how she slammed the #MeToo movement and how she called Kylie Jenner’s baby ugly . But anyway. Our point here is not to rehash these issues, but to actually call a truce and to wish Williams well. Why? Because the talk show host has been hospitalized due to complications from Graves Disease. “As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment,” reads a statement from her family, which continues as follow: “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital “Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being.” Williams broke her shoulder in December and then started to worry fans when she slurred her words on-air. She later apologized and blamed the painkillers she was taking at the time. Since then, Williams has delayed her show’s return on two occasions. It was originally supposed to return shortly after the New Year — but was pushed back to January 14. It was then delayed another week and will now be on indefinite hiatus. Concludes this most recent statement: “Wendy thanks everyone in advance for their well-wishes and for respecting her and The Hunter Family’s privacy during this time.” In early 2018, Williams also took an extended break after her diagnosis of Graves Disease This is an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism). Symptoms often include anxiety, hand tremor, heat sensitivity, weight loss, puffy eyes and enlarged thyroid. It’s a pretty serious illness and Williams addressed her reation to the diagnosis last March. “There’s was just a mess going on inside my body,” she said on Good Morning America . Continued the polarizing TV personality at the time: “We, as women, particularly if we have families, you know, we’re taking care of children, we’re taking care of our home, our husbands, we take care of everybody but ourselves. “I’m not doing that anymore… Wendy first!” Says the production company behind the Wendy Williams Show: For over ten years, Wendy has been a vital part of the Debmar-Mercury family. As you’ve likely heard by now, Mike Sorrentino began his prison sentence earlier this week. Back in January of 2018, Sorrentino pled guilty to charges that he had failed to pay taxes on more than $9 million in earnings. Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months behind bars, and today, Radar Online has confirmed that his release date is scheduled for September 13 of this year. Of course, prison release dates are rarely set in stone, particularly when the inmate in question is a celebrity who seems to have truly dedicated himself to rehabilitation and self-improvement in the months prior to his sentence. Federal prison consultant Dan Wise confirms that The Sitch will likely be sprung well ahead of schedule. But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be permitted to head straight home: “On such a short sentence of 8 months they will send him to a halfway house for two to three months at the end,” Wise claims . “Because of who he is, he may even get home confinement.” Yes, Mike is likely to serve a shorter sentence largely because he’s famous. That’s not to say that he’s receiving preferential treatment because of his celebrity status (although that could certainly be the case). The reasons why a parole board might prefer to grant Sorrentino an early release have more to do with the fact that celebrities are thought to be risky distractions by prison officials. If anything should happen to Mike, a lot of people who prefer to keep low profiles would suddenly find themselves making national headlines. Add that to the fact that Sorrentino’s sobriety and philanthropic work has been well-documented by MTV camera crews, and it’s not hard to see why Mike might be a prime candidate for early release. All he has to do now is keep is nose clean and serve his time quietly. According to Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Pesce, that’s exactly what he’s been doing. Pesce tweeted an update to fans from Mike’s account earlier this week: “Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support,” she wrote. “We speak everyday & he’s doing great. Dean McDermott is truly aghast at the moment. He’s nauseated. He’s angry. He’s simply at a loss for how strangers can act on the Internet. And while we’ve never exactly been a fan of Tori Spelling’s annoying husband, we must admit here: The guy has a point. Earlier this week, McDermott shared a photo of his wife and their five kids on Instagram, giving followers a look at a cute brood comprised of: Liam, 11, Stella, 10, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 1. (Seriously, these two have A LOT of kids!) Expecting a few heart emojis at best and a simple lack of popularity on the post at worst, McDermott was subsequently taken aback by some of the comments alongside the photo. “Why do you let your kids get so fat?” one person asked, while another remarked on how they all looked “terrible.” Stunned by the criticism his kids encountered from these trolls, the 52-year old shot back as follows: I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the comments being left about my children. Body shaming and bullying my children??!! What is wrong with you people??!! As mentioned previously, we’ve been rather critical of both McDermott and Spelling over the years, considering how often they seem to try and profit off their family. Not to mention how irritating it has become to continually track the status of their marriage. Like, are they getting divorced or not ?!? It’s an easy question. But we agree with Dean in this case. Call us crazy, but we think trashing a bunch of toddlers as overweight and/or unattractive is simply over the line and unacceptable. Good on McDermott for calling these losers out! The picture in question (below) was snapped of the family at a screening for the film A Dog’s Way Home, and Dean expounded in his clapback to offer some context about his family’s appearance. “For your information, we went from a long day at school to the movie. And I don’t know any child that is NOT disheveled at the end of the day. “Not to mention that just before this picture was taken, they were wrestling and running around with all the other kids that were at the movie.” He really didn’t need to justify the way everyone looks here, but we understand the instinct. McDermott wasn’t done, either: So I apologize we didn’t get the iron and steamer out to make them perfect for you. Their kids. They’re messy and dirty. That’s what they do. And what’s wrong with shopping at Target??!! Over half of America shops there. The way they grow out of clothing so quickly is astounding. Are we supposed to shop at Gucci?? These are kids folks. So this is a thing that has now happened: Milania Giudice has come out with her very first music video. The video was released by Bravo on Wednesday night, following many episodes of The Real Housewives of New Jersey during which the 14-year old continually expressed an interest in pop music. This isn't so different from many 14-year olds around the country, of course. But Milania – or her famous mother, who one might think would know better, really – is now under fire for what she actually says and does in the song/video. Titled “I Can’t Wait To Grow Up,” the track features Milania rapping about all the things she's excited to do when she's older. Such as: covering Vogue magazine, having her own driver and traveling the world. This is where she stops being like other 14-year olds around the country and starts sounding like a rich and entitled spoiled brat. Should these really be the priorities or fantasies of a young teenager? Twitter users aren't so certain. “THIS IS EMBARRASSING NOW. AND WILL ONLY BE MORE EMBARRASSING IN 10 YEARS. I FEEL FOR HER,” wrote one critic online upon the video release, while another added: She’s gonna regret this video so much in a little while…. Teresa made a big mistake letting her do this . And then another: Want to say something positive, but I can’t . The video includes appearances by Teresa and, somehow, Fetty Wap, along with a spoken introduction that goes as follows: Hey it's me Milania, I'm sure you've seen me around, you've probably seen me on TV, I'm about to go pick up my besties Tay Tay and Stephanie. We about to go pop them tags, get our nails done, hair done. We ain't chasing boys, we chasing checks, we chasing dreams, we chasing goals. Big things poppin', little things stoppin'. There's also at least one reference in here to Joe Giudice, Milania's father who is currently in jail for tax fraud and who is scheduled to be deported this spring. “My dad.. is the best dad in the world” and “needs to come home,” Milania has said about Joe . With reality TV being filmed so far in advance, viewers are just getting to the crazy stuff for Teresa Giudice and her family on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Giudice finally weighed in on husband Joe’s forthcoming release from jail on Wednesday’s episode of the Bravo hit and was surprisingly upbeat about it. “The closer it gets to Joe getting out, all I think about is, ‘Soon he’ll be home,’ ” Teresa said about her dire situation. “I don’t even talk about deportation. That’s all negative thoughts. To me, Joe’s coming home, and that’s it.” Um, what? Do we sense a hint of denial there, Teresa? The immigration court ruled to deport Joe to Italy when he finished out his 41-month prison sentence. Even though an appeal was lodged, he still faces deportation. It’s obviously a tough time for the family, but what we do know is that Teresa has still been visiting him. “I just came straight from seeing Joe,” she told Danielle Staub, before going on to confirm their time together on the inside is spend talking about their four children and “what he wants to do when he gets out.” The conversation quickly turned to what Joe tried to do when Teresa visited him. “He’s trying to touch my a–. I’m like, ‘Get your hand off of my a–,’ ” Teresa laughed. “You’re not allowed to do that!” It’s not uncommon for lovers to want to get closer to each other after spending so long apart. There have been many rumors of late that Teresa is ready to call time on her marriage. There was that time she was all over social media WITHOUT her wedding ring. A lot can change in a few months, but if all of this Joe talk did anything, it shut down some of the rumors. For now, Teresa just wants her husband home and thinks it will complete her family again. “I’m looking forward to it,” she said. “The kids will really be happy when he gets home. They can’t wait, especially Milania.” Elsewhere on Wednesday’s episode, Jennifer Aydin was out for blood. Her first big bust-up was with Jackie Goldschneider who wrote the article bashing her parenting skills. In a comical moment, Jackie allowed Jennifer to use her restroom before heading to a vineyard, but it was not up to the latter’s standards. “What a dump,” Aydin complained after getting a look at the restroom. Restroom Wars could be a good TV format for Bravo! “After Jackie came into my house and used it against me, you think I’m gonna pass up the opportunity to see her house? I don’t think so,” Jennifer said in a confessional. While on the bus, Jennifer started dishing out gifts she brought back from Turkey, but she turned to Margaret and uttered the following: “Yours got lost in the mail along with the mail-order bride that never was.” This was in response to Margaret’s ill-timed comments that Jennifer’s brother was getting married to a mail-order bride. Margaret could not respond because she was blindsided. What did Jennifer buy Jackie? A dagger. Yes, really! Well, Jennifer said it was “an ancient Turkish dagger that people used when they wanted to stab people in the back, so I figured I can give you something tangible, so the next time, I can see you coming.” But Jackie refused the gift, saying she did not want the”passive-aggressive gift.” What followed was the women literally throwing the dagger back and forth at each other. Thankfully, the pair made things right, but Jennifer continued to pursue Margaret. When the ladies got drunk at the vineyard, Margaret started chatting about how she met her current husband, Joe. “He was married at the time, and she thought he was gonna leave his wife,” Margaret shared, while Jennifer laughed and said, “I see a pattern here.” “What’s the pattern?” Margaret quizzed. “Your mother was with a married man, and you were with a married man,” Jennifer shot back. “That’s not a pattern. That’s called a coincidence,” Margaret complained. Jennifer then tried to take back her comments, but Margaret was not ready to let this feud die out and complained about Jennifer’s brother and his marriage. “I’m just saying, culturally, it’s very hard to relate to,” Margaret explained. “So you can’t relate to people who have setup marriages, and I can’t relate to people who have affairs with married men,” Jennifer fired back. “Who sleeps in the f–king pool house?! Who sleeps in the pool house?!” screamed Margaret who was getting irate at Jen’s existence. “You avoid making comments on something that you don’t understand, and I’ll avoid making comments on things that I don’t understand, like breaking up a family!” Jennifer yelled. Later in the episode, the ladies attended an event for Milania that celebrated her song’s release, and there were fireworks. Danielle previously told Teresa that Margaret said she was not to trust Teresa or Melissa Gorga. “I never said that,” Margaret said. “You did, and we discussed that at my house right before we had the bachelorette party,” Danielle replied. Margaret said that Staub said to her, “I don’t know who to trust,” and that her response was, “Well then don’t trust anybody.” Margaret eventually walked off because she was tired of the drama. That’s when the husbands started arguing. Marty told Joe that Margaret was “jealous” of Danielle and that “Margaret doesn’t wanna walk into a room with Danielle because nobody will look at Margaret.” Joe did not take that too well, and Joe Gorga stepped in to prevent him from punching Marty. Hailey Baldwin is married to Justin and cannot wait to pop out a bunch of Bieber babies . She’s not the only one excited about her new marriage. Justin’s mom, Pattie, shared a selfie to show how over the moon she is about her new daughter-in-law. Pattie Mallette, mother of Justin Bieber, shared this sweet and cozy selfie with Hailey Baldwin, wife of Justin Bieber. “What a gift,” Pattie captioned this cozy pic with her daughter-in-law. She followed those words with a heart eyes emoji. In the photo, Hailey appears to be planting a delicate kiss on Pattie’s cheek. Hailey herself commented under the Instagram post. “Love you,” she wrote. Awww! Justin and Hailey married late last year, but were private about it — though they of course knew that it was not a secret. People reports that they’re planning an actual wedding ceremony … but some of the details are still up in the air. “They’ve been figuring out the perfect time to do it,” the insider says. “And they both feel like the sooner, the better.” If you’re looking forward to some sort of heavily tattooed version of the Royal Wedding, think again. They don’t know the details, but what they’re planning will be small and intimate, for family and friends. “They’re still figuring it out,” the source notes. Not all of Justin’s choices have been every mother’s fondest wish. That goes for one of his very recent decisions, too. Justin Bieber now has a face tattoo. In cursive (making it unreadable to people who weren’t forced to learn that archaic script), his tattoo says “grace.” As far as facial tattoos go, this one doesn’t sound too bad. It’s along the ridge of his eyebrow and is fairly subtle. And since we’re talking about the Biebs, it’s not like he needs to worry about not getting hired over the tat. Grace can have a number of meanings, but in this context, it is undoubtedly rooted in Justin’s Christian faith. Being devout Christians is one of the things that Justin and Hailey have in common. After they renewed their romance in the summer of 2018, Justin was seen taking Hailey on what have been characterized as “church dates.” In 2017, Justin felt a religious calling to cancel his tour early. He has been working harder and harder to devote himself to his beliefs. Grace is not the only tattoo of his that is rooted in Christianity. Faith is one of the things that make Hailey such a good match for Justin his his mother’s eyes, too. Justin’s outspoken religiousity may have waxed and waned before recent years, but he got his beliefs from his mother.
