The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Another Friendship Bites the Dust

The ladies of Orange County have been battling it out like never before on The Real Housewives of Orange County.  Monday’s episode of chronicled the fraught friendship between Tamra Judge and Gina Kirschenheiter.  The pair were still at odds over Gina dishing the goodies to Shannon about what was being said about her.  But Gina wanted to let bygones be bygones and wanted Tamra to attend her birthday bash, but Judge had an agenda of her own.  Tamra made her way over to Vicki’s house and revealed all about the growing tension between her and Gina.  “So I got a call from Shannon who said that Gina told her that I was talking all this stuff about her in Jamaica,” Tamra told Vicki.  But Vicki was so over what happened in Jamaica, saying: “Hello! Jamaica why are we still talking about Jamaica. We are done we are home now. I told Shannon if she has to get on anti-depressants than do it. But Shannon is not mentally ill.” In a hilarious segment, the two women decided against attending Gina’s party, and while it seemed more about Shannon being there, it was still pretty rude.  As for Gina, she was moving out of her family home and into her own bachelorette pad following her decision to divorce her husband. “I am realizing that Mrs. Kirschenheiter is no more,” Gina said before claiming this would be her first birthday as a single woman.  Gina then told her new BFF Kelly Dodd that she was keeping her divorce on the down low from her children.  The ladies subsequently met up at Emily Simpson’s for a fortune reading party, and things quickly got out of hand.  “I have texted Shannon to ask how her surgery went. She did not answer, but I just wanted her to know how it went,” Emily said. “Hopefully you are on the up and up,” Tamra said to Emily about Shannon. “I feel bad, but I am honestly over Shannon at this point,” said Gina who was still in hot water with Tamra. “I am trying to help, and you are trying to help her, and now this whole thing is about me and you and do I think you are a sh***y friend.”   All seemed to go quiet on the Shannon front until the fortune reader told the ladies that a “woman with an S in her name needed help.” Okay then, Bravo to the producers for this random twist.  The episode’s final moments focused on Gina questioning where Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki were after everyone but them arrived at her birthday party.  We cut away to a scene with Tamra, Vicki, and Shannon together having a party of their own.  “So I told you both what happened. The one thing that kind of upset me was that Emily said, ‘Because I grew up with a mentally ill mom, I saw some similarities with Shannon,’” Tamra said.  That’s when Shannon lost it.  “This is a person that threatened to kill Kelly! How dare she? Mentally ill? F**k her,” Shannon yelled as the episode faded to black.  Oh yes, it’s on! What are your thoughts on the latest big twist? Game of Thrones Season 8: Premiere Date Sort of Revealed!

Have no fear, Game of Thrones fans: Spring is coming. And, with it, new episodes of television's most popular cable show are also coming.  FINALLY. HBO has confirmed that the final six installments of Game of Thrones will premiere in April. The network made this exciting announcement at the conclusion of the first teaser for Season 8, which we've included here and which will leave you crying … or cheering … or very possibly both. The preview does not include any new footage from the concluding set of episodes, but it does take us way back in time. We see Ned Stark. We get a look at King Joffrey. We even watch as Hodor takes his tragic final breath. In general, this video sets the stage for the final season, including with it an endless array of past season highlighting centered around various characters and what they done in their quest for survival and power. Reads words on the screen in between a number of bloody and emotional scenes from years gone by: Every battle. Every betrayal. Every alliance. Every risk. Every sacrifice. Every oath. Every death is all… #ForTheThrone. It looks like this hashtag will be the one used by HBO in the weeks and months leading up to Season 8 . As for when the show will actually return? We're gonna take a guess here… A third season of True Detective premieres on Sunday, January 13. If we assume it is comprised of 12 episodes, and if we assume Game of Thrones premiere on the Sunday immediately following the season finale… this would mean Season 8 will kick off on Sunday, April 7. We actually think that's a pretty safe guess. While you wonder how the heck you'll ever make it that long, go ahead and get more excited than ever before via the teaser featured here.

Thomas Ravenel: Evil Kathryn Dennis is Using Our Kids Ratings & Fame!!

Last month, Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis filed to amend custody of her two children following the arrest of baby daddy Thomas Ravenel. Though Thomas is facing a criminal trial , he’s also making time to fight this custody filing. Thomas is alleging that Kathryn is only making this move to get better ratings — and that Bravo put her up to it. RadarOnline   got their hands on some documents from Charleston Family Court. Thomas is suing, but he’s not aiming directly at Kathryn. Instead, the disgraced former politician is suing Bravo and production company Haymaker Media, Inc. Thomas claims that they “encouraged, condoned and/or gave Plaintiff express or implied consent to initiate a lawsuit against the Third Party Plaintiff.” This suit being, of course, “for custody of Plaintiff’s and Third Party Plaintiff’s minor children.” “The Plaintiff filed and was encouraged to file this lawsuit,” Thomas’ team alleges. And they say it was done “for the express or implied purpose of providing material for the filming of Season 6 of  Southern Charm. ” Thomas is trying to stop Bravo from airing any footage of Kathryn’s kids. Even though it’s a reality show and she’s their mom. “The Third Party Plaintiff requests that this Court enjoin the Third Party Defendants,” the suit says. The papers continue: “from disseminating and/or airing any Season 6 and/or otherwise unaired video footage which features the minor children.” Thomas wants no footage relating “in this matter and/or which directly or indirectly concerns the minor children, this litigation, and/or the custody dispute.” He specifies that the dispute is: “between the Plaintiff and the Third Party Plaintiff.” “And,” the papers say, he wants this footage to remain unaired on Bravo “permanently.” Thomas is also asking the court to force the defendants to pay all attorney fees. “Defendant is informed,” the suit claims. “And believes it is not coincidental that Plaintiff initiated this litigation during the filming of the next season of Southern Charm ,” the documents conclude. Kathryn Dennis is a reality star. While she’s not literally always filming, she does spend a lot of her life during periods when she’s filming. That is how the reality business usually works. Thomas should know that — he spent five years on the show that he’s now suing. If there is a special component to Kathryn’s timing, it probably has less to do with reality television. It probably has more to do with Thomas Ravenel’s arrest in September for assault and battery. The arrest stems from harrowing accusations from Nanny Dawn, one of two women who have come forward to accuse Ravenel of rape. Kathryn insisted that she was going to avoid directly commenting on the allegations at first. (She did manage to get a 50/50 custody split around that time, very quietly) But an arrest is much more difficult to gloss over for the sake of one’s shared children. Kathryn very likely seeks to limit how much her very young children are exposed to what’s sure to be a highly publicized trial. It was the month following Thomas’ arrest that Kathryn filed to amend their custody arrangement. There is doubt that Thomas’ team’s argument that Kathryn’s sinister plot to have custody of her own children is a ploy for ratings. It seems more likely that, at “worst,” she cynically figured that right now — while he’s facing trial — may be her best shot at getting custody. If Thomas ends up going to prison, she’s a shoe-in for custody anyway. But if Thomas avoids prison time or is acquitted, she may never have this good of a chance in court again. And again, how much of their father’s trial do Kensie and Saint really need to be exposed to? We’re no legal scholars, but some wonder if perhaps Thomas doesn’t believe that he has a real chance of blocking Bravo from filming. It may be that he hopes to instead plant a seed of doubt in family court about Kathryn’s intentions. If he can successfully portray his ex as an opportunistic glutton for fame, the court may be less inclined to see things Kathryn’s way. But the guy who’s about to face trial for rape is going to have an uphill battle to convince anyone that he’s the good parent. Kendra Wilkinson Daps Up Hank Baskett for Fighting Calabasas Fires

Back in 2014, Hank Baskett received a hand job from transgender model Ava London. The act of manual pleasure created a fire in Baskett’s marriage that he was unable to ever extinguish, leading to his divorce from Kendra Wilkinson about four years later. However, despite all the bad blood that has existed of late between the former spouses, Wilkinson took to Twitter on Sunday and gave her ex credit for a handful of fires he has managed to put out. And we’re talking about actual, literal, blazing hot fires here. “The kids and I are so proud of @TheHankBaskett for going out and helping put out fires around Calabasas,” Kendra wrote on both her social media accounts, adding: “He saved many homes without the people probably even knowing. Great job Hank!” Wow. We had no idea. As you’re very likely aware by now, deadly wildfires have swept across Northern and Southern California over the past few days, with the Woolsey fire devastating Malibu, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks. Two people were reportedly killed in Malibu lat Friday and nine people died in the fast-moving Camp fire in Northern California. Approximately 250,000 have fled their homes, including celebrities such as Kim Kardashian , Alyssa Milano, Gerard Butler and many others. Wilkinson and the couple’s two children (Hank Jr., 8, and Alijah, 4) are among these quarter million residents who have been forced to leave their homes as the Woolsey fire spread in numerous directions across 80,000 acres. It’s a seriously dangerous situation. Over the weekend, Wilkinson posted an Instagram video of her kids roughhousing on a hotel bed along with the caption “2 days evacuated.” She then shared another photograph of herself and Hank Jr. wearing masks due to the smoke. “Thank you to all the men and women who are out there putting their lives at risk to keep us safe,” she wrote on Friday, adding the hashtag #heroes. Wilkinson filed for divorce from Baskett in April and the process was finalized in mid-October. She’s been very emotional about the split ever since it went down (although she’s also talked about her boobs ), writing about it on Instagram back when she announced the legal break-up: “I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. “I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way… “Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. Meghan Markle: Driving Royal Staffers to Quit with Her Diva Demands?

While rumors say that Kate Middleton resents Meghan Markle stealing her spotlight , it turns out that Meghan has gotten on the last nerve of others in the Palace. Meghan and Harry lost three of their employees in a very short time. A report says that Meghan may be causing this “stampede” with her insistence on following her own path instead of royal protocol. According to a report by the Sunday Express , Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s household has lost yet another staffer. Samantha Cohen was the couple’s private secretary. She has now departed from the post. She was preceded in that job by Edward Lane Fox, who also left that position by his own choice. And on Saturday, someone walked out who worked even more closely with Meghan. Meghan Markle’s personal assistant was known only by “Melissa.” Melissa has spent the past six months at Kensington Palace with Meghan. Among her duties was having a very direct role in key elements of preparing for the Royal Wedding in May of this year.  Well, Melissa has now reportedly resigned. Some have interpreted the loss of three members of the Royal couple’s staff as a sign that something is wrong. According to how a source characterized matters to the Sunday Express , this is very unusual. “To lose one member of the household could happen to anyone,” the insider admits. Two is happenstance. But three? “To lose three in a few months is starting to look like a stampede,” the source says. Maybe that is a little dramatic, but that does seem like a lot of turnaround for one couple’s household, right? So … what’s sending these staffers running for the hills? Allegedly, Meghan Markle’s independent attitude is driving away the household staff. As an actress, Meghan was a public figure long before she began dating Prince Harry. And, like most humans, she has a personal sense of style. She remains dedicated to that style even as a duchess, and is resistant to certain Royal traditions that would dictate how she should dress. Meghan wants to dress like herself. She doesn’t feel a need to be dressed in outfits that are virtually identical to those worn by Duchess Kate. We are meant to believe that Meghan’s sense of autonomy is viewed as “tiresome” by household staffers. In June, Meghan wore an off-the-shoulder blush colored Caroline Herrera gown to attend the Trooping of the Colour event. (Gosh, Britain has goofy names for things) She has also worn purses whose straps cross the body rather than a simple clutch. Additionally, Meghan didn’t wear pantyhose for the engagement announcement. All of that is beautiful and even stylish, but flies in the face of stuffy Royal traditions. We’re not sure what to make of these reports. Meghan seems to be a genuinely likeable person. The narrative that she’s “difficult” and resistant to conforming to expectations is tempting, because she’s an American, but that doesn’t mean that it’s true. And it’s difficult to imagine that Meghan and Harry’s secretaries are so personally offended that Meghan’s formal attire isn’t boring enough that they quit. There can be real drama surrounding the Royal Family. But that doesn’t mean that every story has a scandal just beneath the surface. Sometimes, people just quit. Jenelle Evans Doesn’t Care That California is on Fire Right Now

Jenelle Evans is a moron. Sorry, there's just no other way to say it. The Teen Mom 2 cast member has made many bad decisions over the course of her life, right up to and including her marriage to David Eason… … who she  evidently thinks everyone totally loves . But one of the least smart things Evans has ever done is take a vacation in California and share a number of lovely photos from the trip — while totally ignoring the awful wild fires that rage around the state and cause the evacuation of over 250,000 people. Yes, she really has done this. Scroll down to see her photos, read her captions and then to roll your eyes at her obvliousness: 1. Jenelle and David Eason are on Vacation They are visiting Sequoia National Park, California, which is an absolutely gorgeous place to be. That much is not in dispute. 2. But Here’s the Thing: Wild fires all around the Malibu area have caused mass evacautions and led to the deaths of at leat 31 people. It’s a statewide tragedy, even for those not immediately affected by the disaster. You can watch the above video for more. 3. Is Jenelle Close to the Still-Spreading Flames? No. The national park at which she’s a visitor and Malibu are over 250 miles apart. She is safe and sound and very far away from the danger zone(s). 4. But Still, Right? Many folks out there would agree it’s in bad taste to brag about the glorious sights and sounds all around you in the same state in which a quarter million people are literally, simultaneously fleeing for their lives. 5. It’s Amazing Out Here, Though! “This is the most magical place I’ve ever been in my life! I’m so glad to have experienced it with my best friend. This makes you wonder if giants were ever real,” Jenelle wrote as a caption to this photo and a few others from her trip. 6. Look at Us, Not Running for Shelter from the Fire! Kim Kardashian Accepts People’s Choice Award, Addresses Devastating California Wild Fire

Kim Kardashian and her family members were unable to enjoy the 2018 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday night. Yes, the group won Best Reality Show of 2018 for Keeping Up with the Kardashians… … but a very different kind of reality has been affecting Kim, her relatives and countless other California residents over the past several days. Due to extraordinarily dangerous and fast-spreading wild fires in Malibu and surrounding areas, Kim and many others have been forced to evacuate their homes. Dozens have people have died. The President has pointed blame at the state itself. Everything is a very sad mess at the moment. Hence why Kim got up on stage and turned very serious on what otherwise would have been a celebratory occasions. “It’s been a really rough week in our home in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and for our neighbors in Thousand Oaks and Malibu,” she said. Referencing the tragic shooting in a Thousand Oaks bar last week, which took the lives of 12 people, Kim added: “Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and for those who have lost their lives and homes, as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning.” Raging blazes have tearing through Southern California for about a week now. There doesn’t appear to be an end in sight. But fire fighters and first responders are doing all they can to control the flames. And Kardashian showed appreciation for these heroes during the ceremony: “As horrible as this has been, it’s been amazing to see the resilient spirit of everyone involved, and the heroism of those risking their lives on the front lines. “Action is necessary, so anything we can do to help, as simple as donating to the many organization that are collecting supplies, no form of help is too small.” “Our country is stronger when we come together and we cannot face devastation alone,” she continued. “We must continue to reach out and help each other during these trying times.” Amen, right? Stars such as Lady Gaga, Rainn Wilson, and Alyssa Milano fled their houses over the weekend to escape the unprecedented winds. Miley Cyrus said on Instagram she was “completely devastated by the fires affecting my community.” She encouraged folks to aid in relief efforts by donating money and supplies to organizations like California’s Wildfire Relief Fund and the Red Cross. “I am one of the lucky ones,” she wrote on Twitter, adding: “My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.” About 260,000 residents in Los Angeles County and Ventura County have been forced to flee their homes due to the fires, which have already burned down over 80,000 acres. Kim closed her speech by acknowledging the victims and paying tribute to those trying to end the devastation. “We would like to dedicate this win to all of the firefighters, the law enforcement and the first responders,” she said. “We really, truly appreciate what you have done for all of us. People’s Choice Awards 2018: And the Winners Were…

Nearly all the people have spoken. Or at least many of them have done so. On Sunday night, E! aired the 2018 People’s Choice Awards, as everyday citizens used their voice to vote for the second time in just a few days. Instead of installing new politicians around the country, however, these votes determined the nation’s top shows, stars, movies and more. Aside from honoring Melissa McCarthy with the first-ever People’s Icon Award and Victoria Beckham, who took home the first-ever Fashion Icon Award, who else earned trophies at the event? Derick Dillard Comes Clean: We’re Breaking All of Jim Bob’s Rules!

We’ve known for some time now that Derick Dillard is not Jim Bob Duggar’s favorite son-in-law. In fact, it’s been said that Jim Bob flat-out doesn’t like Derick — and frankly, it’s not hard to see why. After all, other than Josh, no one in the Duggar clan has done more to compromise the family business than Derick. The clearest evidence of Derick’s ineptitude is the fact that he got fired from Counting On  and convinced his wife, Jill Duggar, to quit the show as a gesture of solidarity. But leaving his family without a source of income was just the first in a long line of eff-ups for Derick. From there, Derick’s bigoted social media tirades continued unabated, as he attacked other TLC stars such as Jazz Jennings ad Nate Berkus in the sort or ignorant tirades for which he’s become famous. Jim Bob and company probably didn’t object to the belief system behind Derick’s unhinged rants, but the Duggars likely took issue with the public nature of his hate speech. After all, not unlike the evangelical church that seems to have served as his business model, JB built an empire that’s based on strict adherence to a set of mostly arbitrary rules. These days, Jim Bob’s offspring — particularly his daughters — are flouting his guidelines left and right, and the patriarch reportedly blames the men they married. Jinger Duggar began wearing pants in defiance of the family dress code after she was granted permission by her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. And now, Jill Duggar is allowing her kids to enjoy secular entertainment — a massive no-no in the Duggars’ world. And not surprisingly, it seems the Duggars believe Derick is squarely to blame. And it seems D-Dill may have just confirmed their suspicions on social media. Earlier this week, a fan asked Derick, “Why don’t you guys get a TV?” “How do you know we don’t have one?” Derick replied. If you’re a longtime Counting On fan, then you’re probably already aware that the Duggars grew up in a house without television. In recent months, Jill and Derick have taken flak for allowing their children access to such popular children’s characters as Peppa the Pig. That may seem like just about the most innocent thing imaginable, but the Duggars are of the belief that all children’s entertainment that all children’s entertainment should have to do with fire and brimstone.
