Ian McShane Drops MAJOR Game of Thrones Spoiler: Guess Who’s Coming Back From the Dead!

You may know actor Ian McShane from his incredible work on the tragically short-lived Deadwood , but the British thespian will soon make his mark on another critically-adored HBO series with an undisclosed role on the sixth season of Game of Thrones . Unfortunately, the bulk of McShane’s previous TV experience took place in the days before Internet sleuths would eagerly pick apart an actor’s every word in search of spoilers, so he’s not terribly adept at keeping a freakin’ lid on it: Ian McShane: Game of Thrones Season Six Spoiler! HBO is so concerned about keeping information from Thrones Season 6 from going public that they’re refusing to send the customary pre-season screeners to critics for fear of leaks. But the insane level of secrecy hasn’t kept ol’ Al Swearengen up there from spilling the beans in a number of different interviews, so read no further if you want to be surprised by the goings-on in Westeros next month. Spoilers are coming: “I can give you like one hint,” McShane says in the clip above, mistakenly thinking that he’s being cagey. “My character is like an ex-warrior who’s become a peacenik. So I have this group, a peaceful, sort of like a cult, peaceful tribe, who have brought back — I bring back a much loved character everybody’s thinking is dead. So, I’ll leave it at that.” Now, the obvious conclusion to draw here is that McShane’s character brings Jon Snow back to life , because let’s face it – Jon Snow is coming back to life one way or another. But comments that McShane made in a different interview (yes, the dude’s already dropped spoilers in multiple different interviews), suggest that might not be the case: “I have nursed a loved character – a much loved character – back to life,” McShane said, yet again not being nearly as subtle as he thinks he is. “And it reintroduces – I won’t say him or her – cause he…it’s a character that’s much loved, that everybody thinks has died, and he’s not dead. Me and my band of peace-loving brothers and sisters have nursed him back to life. So it introduces him again.” The interviewer then points out that McShane is obviously talking about either “the Hound or Jon Snow,” to which McShane (who at this point is letting cats out of bags like the dimwit in some sort of spy comedy) replies: “I’ll leave you with that one. I think you might guess which one it is…cause it’s not the latter. It might be the former.” So there you have it. You may recall that while Arya Stark left Sandor Clegane for dead in the Season 4 finale, but we never actually saw him die. Add to that the fact that actor Rory McCann was recently spotted staying at a hotel that’s frequented by GoT cast and crew during the filming, and it seems pretty obvious that Season 6 will feature the return of the Hound. If all of this has reminded you of how much you’ve forgotten (there’s a lot to remember, after all), you can watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to get back up to speed in time for the show’s April 24 return.

LeAnn Rimes, Bikini-Clad Friends Recreate Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover

The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover, featuring Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal, was hailed as a hit across the nation. LeAnn Rimes was apparently a big fan. The singer showed off her own amazing figure when she posted a cheeky bikini photo via Twitter on Monday. Captioned “Models in training @SInow sequel #happymemorialdayboys #wetryhard #having fun,” Rimes and two pals created a lighthearted remake: With LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian ‘s VH1 reality show set to begin soon, she is all smiles, and with good reason. At least when it comes to her figure. “Workouts done!” Rimes tweeted to trainer Ilyse Baker earlier in the day. “Every inch of me is drenched!! @ilysebaker time for sun & a bikini!” Everything LeAnn does seems to be controversial and scrutinized lately, but there’s no mistaking her vocal talent, which she also showed off this weekend. She spent Sunday at the 2014 Indy 500 with husband Cibrian. Rimes sang the national anthem for a quarter of a million people, and was taken aback. “The horns they played right before the NA moved me to tears. I was crying the first few lines of the song,” she tweeted of her emotional performance. Kudos to LeAnn on that – and the Kate Upton impression. Oberyn Martell vs. Gregor Clegane: Tale of the Tape!

It’s going down this Sunday on Game of Thrones!  The fight of the 15th Century between Oberyn “The Red Viper” Martell and Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane to decide the fate of Tyrion “Pour Me Another” Lannister. This showdown will make T.I. vs. Floyd Mayweather  look like a septa’s sewing lesson and we’ve got all the facts you need to help you pick a winner and fleece your friends for every gold dragon they’re worth: Size: We think it’s safe to say Gregor’s got the obvious advantage here. Portrayed by Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, aka the world’s second strongest man , Sandor didn’t earn the nickname “The Mountain” because he likes to go climbing. No, Bjornsson goes about 6’9″, 420 pounds, meaning that Sandor may be the biggest dude Westeros has to offer. If we were in Oberyn’s shoes we’d be looking for some medieval HGH about now. Edge: Gregor Swordsmanship : Well, he messed up some Lannisters early in season 4, but we haven’t really seen Oberyn do much fighting. Not a good sign. Gregor, on the other hand recently disemboweled some peasants with about as much difficulty as if he were shelling pistachios. Edge: Gregor Intimidation Factor: Yup, another no-brainer for Mount Clegane. This guy’s brother, the Hound, goes all jelly-spined at the mere mention of his name. Oberyn may be the ultimate badass back in Dorne, but we’re guessing he’s never faced an opponent quite as terrifying as the Mountain. Edge: Gregor Charisma: Ah, here we go! If it comes down to a judges’ decision, the fact that he doesn’t rely on monosyllabic grunts to communicate could work to Oberyn’s advantage. People say a lot of things about the Mountain, but “he’s a great conversationalist” isn’t one of them. Of course, if we were  going into a fight to the death, we wouldn’t want to be relying on our way with words, but hey, it’s something! Edge: Oberyn So there you have it. If you’re still unsure of who to bet your gold on, we recommend checking out the below video of the actor who plays Sandor throwing a washing machine 15 feet. It’s been nice getting to know you, Oberyn! Watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to relive Oberyn’s all-too-brief time in King’s Landing. Hafpor Julius Bjornsson Throws a Washing Machine!

Game of Thrones Super Mario Credits: Pure Nerdy Hilarity

Dragons, princesses, keeping you glued to your television for hours on end… Game of Thrones and the Super Mario Brothers videogames have more in common than you might think, and a brilliant new YouTube clip mashes the unexpectedly similar worlds together: Game of Thrones-Mario Brothers Credits Okay, so GoT and Super Mario part ways when it comes to things like violent castrations and stubby-legged Italian-American plumbers, but the video above – uploaded by NicksplosionFX – shows us that Westeros and the Mushroom Kingdom aren’t as different as they initially seem. Like last week’s Game of Thrones character texts , the GoT /Mario mash-up shows us that with a few subtle changes the universe envisioned by George R.R. Martin could be a far less terrifying place: After all, the Vanilla Fortress sounds like a way friendlier castle than the Dreadfort, and the occasional warp zone could certainly help Arya and the Hound out of a tight spot. In order to fully appreciate Nicksplosion’s attention to detail, we recommend checking out the side-by-side comparison between the original GoT credits and the Mario-ized version below:  Game of Thrones-Super Mario Comparison Then, when you’re done laughing and ready to get back to the business of being shocked and horrified go watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic.  Game of Thrones Texts 1.
