The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 Recap: Rumors

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 confirmed what we all expected: Shannon Beador’s relationship with her delusional ex-husband, David is in tatters.  The 53-year-old revealed that David thought she was doing everything in her power to try and turn the tide against him in the courtroom.  Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 Episode 6 Online “David’s shown quite a bit of anger towards me,” she said after saying that David thought she was using the abusive texts he sent her as leverage.  The evidence is evidence. However, it may appear, so we can’t even begin to imagine why the loser thought Shannon would not use them.  On the way to court during Monday’s episode, Shannon was so scared to face him that she ran a red light while on the phone to her mother about what was going to happen at the court.  Shannon has been open up about David’s abuse and kept all of the details in the court filings, but this further scared her.  “I feel like I’m walking into the unknown,” she said after saying she worried about how it “might set him off.” She then met up with her lawyer Ben and continued to worry about what could happen.  “I don’t know what David I’m going to see today,” she said.  “My wish is that a weight is going to be lifted off my shoulders after this court date. My reality is telling me, nah, it’s just gonna make things worse,” she admitted, adding: “He’s not going to be happy no matter what decision is made.” Things went Shannon’s way in the courtroom, and she called Tamra Judge to let her know her thoughts on it after admitting she was “shaken up, emotional, and just very uneasy.” That would certainly make one think it did not go her way, but it really did.  “I don’t even have any words for it,’ she said through tears. “‘The judge ordered him to pay me a lot of money every month — $30,000-a-month.” However, we quickly learned why Shannon was so shaken up.  “We went out in the hallway, and David came around the corner where I was talking to Ben, and he just went off on Ben and me.” “And Ben had to scream for the bailiff. He was so livid. He came around the corner and said, ‘You f*****g happy Ben?’” It certainly sounds like an awkward encounter, to say the least, but Shannon opted to throw her devious ex a bone.  She said that she agreed to lower the $30,000 pay down to $22,500 “because that’s what I need at this point.” “So we went back into the courtroom, and he was shaking with anger. If anything, I was fair in cutting down the order. I just want him out of my life,” she continued.  It’s great that Shannon has her friends at her side, but we learned early into the episode that the texts could be the thing that saved her case.  She said they were so bad “I guarantee you I will never have to talk to him again.” “‘F**k you, you f*****g b***h,” and “You f*****g disgust me, you fat a**. Get off your f*****g lazy fat a**. Did you get out of bed today, you f***ing b***h'” she said of the torrent of abuse.  “That’s what I get, all the time,” she said with a sad look on her face.  “Believe it or not, I had David over to my house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. But he says that he lived through 17 years of hell with me,” said Shannon in a confessional.  “So, I’m sorry you feel that way. Thank God you’re out.” While things with her and David were over, the ladies wanted her to return to the dating scene.  “I think Shannon definitely needs a kick in the a** to start dating. She needs to get laid,” said Tamra who seemed more excited by the prospect of it than Shannon herself.  “I think that what I’ve come to realize is that what I’m looking for is a partnership,” Shannon told matchmaking experts. “I’m not going to go and meet a guy at a bar and then make out with him at that night. I need to know somebody before we’re going to touch lips.” “She loves sex — she does,” Tamra instead insisted. “She needs a guy who can get it on.” ‘I don’t know if I’m ready to date,’ Shannon countered. ‘The whole thought panics me. Just panics me.” Meanwhile, newcomers Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter were still bringing all the drama thanks to Gina’s husband yelling at Emily for being a little too loud at a party.  “No guy should be yelling at any woman,” insisted Tamra. “He’s having a party in his house. Did he expect everyone to be quiet?” Kelly Dodd had a whole different outlook on the matter.  “No wonder why he was upset — everyone was drinking, having fun, gambling… and they don’t swear. S**t. I’m going straight to hell.” We’re happy to report that Kelly was having a joke with Vicki Gunvalson.  Okay then.  What did you think of the latest episode? Rapper Kodak Black Released From Jail

The 21-year-old rapper was released from Broward County Jail early Saturday morning. A camera crew on the scene tried to ask him how he was feeling about his release, but he was too focused on getting the hell out of there. As The Blast first reported, Kodak’s first post-jail stop will be to see his mother and young son. Back in April, the rapper was sentenced to one year in county jail even though he was facing up to 12 years behind bars. Kodak Black pled guilty to two probation violations, including driving on a suspended license and “associating with people committing crimes.” As The Blast previously reported, police witnessed the rapper in the presence of cannabis and ammunition during an Instagram Live stream. His powerhouse attorney,  Bradford Cohen , argued that there was no way to prove that the weed and ammo from the video could be determined to be authentic, and the charges should be dropped. The violation charges were dropped and other charges, including child neglect, that were connected to a police raid on his home, were also dropped.

P resident Barack Obama ’s summer reading list includes a book about a Black couple impacted by a wrongful conviction—a reality for a disproportionate number of African-American families. See Also: Good Vibes: Obama Reveals Favorite Songs And Books Of 2017 The former president unveiled his list of five books on Sunday, and it is a mix of fiction and nonfiction titles that include An American Marriage by Tayari Jones . “One of my favorite parts of summer is deciding what to read when things slow down just a bit, whether it’s on a vacation with family or just a quiet afternoon,” Obama posted on Facebook. “This summer I’ve been absorbed by new novels, revisited an old classic, and reaffirmed my faith in our ability to move forward together when we seek the truth. Dear Mr. President, I always look forward to your summer reading suggestions, but what an honor to find An American Marriage on this year’s list. @BarackObama pic.twitter.com/PZAEhJjM5E — Tayari Jones (@tayari) August 19, 2018 In the novel, newlywed couple Celestial and Roy are beginning their life together with great optimism about the future. Things become unhinged when Roy is arrested and sentenced to 12 years in prison. The couple struggles to hold on to their union while Roy languishes behind bars. Jones, a Spelman College graduate, has received praise for her moving novel. Jones touched on an issue that has disproportionately torn apart Black families. African Americans convicted of murder or sexual assault are more likely than their white counterparts to be   found innocent later, the National Registry of Exonerations reported in 2017 in an analysis of almost 2,000 exonerations. Black defendants accounted for 40 percent of murder convictions over the nearly three decades covered in the study—and also represented 50 percent of those wrongfully convicted. Obama’s four other favorites are  Tara Westover ’s Educated, Warlight by Michael Ondaatje , the classic A House for Mr Biswas written by Nobel Prize winner V.S. Naipaul  and Factfulness by Hans Rosling . What Kind Of F*ckery Is This?: Pilot Crashes A Plane Into His House In An Attempt To Kill His Wife

Here is the original post:

Source: Nazir Azhari Bin Mohd Anis / EyeEm / Getty You’ve probably never heard a story this crazy in your entire life. A man in Utah tried to kill his wife by crashing a plane into his own house. The crash happened early Monday morning, one night after Duane Youd, 47, was arrested for domestic assault allegations in American Fork Canyon in Utah. According to Payson Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Noemi Sandoval, “They had been drinking and an argument broke out and he started hitting her and some witnesses called in to police to say a guy was hitting a woman.” Youd was released from jail just a few hours later and asked cops if he could go back to his home to retrieve his belongings. He was allowed to do so and no further incidents occurred. At some point, Youd, who was a corporate pilot for the company Van Con, goes from his home to an airport in Springville. There he managed to steal a twin-engine Cessna Citation 525 airplane. This is where things get crazy. Youd steals the small plane and proceeds to fly it into the front of the house where his wife, Sandy Youd, and 24-year-old son, Collin McNeal, were asleep. Prior to stealing the plane, Youd called his other children and told them to “go stay at their mother’s house” instead. “The next thing I know, a huge crash into the house and then there was an explosion,” said Sandy Youd. “This was completely unexpected.” “I couldn’t come out the front door. It was all engulfed in flames, so I ran out the side and through the garage. I didn’t know where my son was,” she added. Youd died but his wife and son escaped unharmed. “I don’t know how I got out. I ran down the stairs through the front door,” said McNeal. “All I remember is seeing fire and then being on the street.” According to Sandy Youd, at first she didn’t realize it was a plane that had struck her home but once she escaped and saw the tail of the plane, she knew it was her husband, Duane Youd, who many referred to as “Red.” “I knew right away it was Red. I knew it was him immediately,” she said. She also goes on to say that through it all, she still loves him. “I love him, I miss him, I still can’t believe he’s not here,” Youd said. They should consider making this into some kind of movie. People are really crazy out here!

Lyric McHenry: Did She Know She Was Pregnant?

As previously reported in terrible detail,  Lyric McHenry was found dead early Tuesday morning in New York City. The former E! reality star, who made appearances two years ago on the only season of EJNYC , was discovered around 5 a.m. — only wearing underwear and a pajama top. But that wasn’t all. Authorities have confirmed that a small ziplock bag of cocaine was also found on McHenry’s person, leading the police to presume that she died of a drug overdose. However, an investigation is open and more information will possibly be revealed in the coming days. Perhaps most shocking and disturbing of all? McHenry was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. A multitude of social media images and videos from the night before her passing make it clear she was out partying, although we can’t confirm whether she was drinking or not. Then, of course, there’s the issue of that cocaine. This is all a preamble to the following question… Did Lyric McHenry know she was pregnant? One would assume so, based on how far along reports have claimed her to have been. But a friend named Etienne Maurice tells Radar Online that he was very close to Henry and he had no clue about the impending child. “Nobody knew,” says this pal. “I’m trying to figure out how. I’m completely blindsided.” Maurice goes on to say that he doesn’t believe McHenry was aware, either, emphasizing that she wasn’t showing a baby bump at all. (Women, of course, have a very distinct way of knowing whether or not they are pregnant aside from the size of their stomach.) McHenry, based on everything we’ve read so far, certainly wasn’t acting pregnant. But the sad truth is that some people do not treat their bodies well even when they are aware that a fetus is growing inside. Aside from the pregnancy issue, questions continue to swirl around the manner in which McHenry was found. Could she have been murdered? Did she overdose and then get dumped on the sidewalk? Maurice previously told Radar that McHenry left her friends on Monday night outside of a club and got into a car with someone none of them knew and cannot now identity. McHenry was a Stanford University graduate who interned on the Obama campaign as a teenager; hence the photograph above. Her father, Doug McHenry, who has produced films that include New Jack City, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate and the House Party franchise, issued a statement through his publicist on Wednesday describing his daughter as “a brilliant, creative and lovely young woman who shared a deep passion for writing, film, and a longstanding commitment to social justice.” And the family as a whole said the following yesterday evening: The McHenry Family deeply appreciates the many communications of support from Lyric McHenry’s many friends upon learning of her untimely death at approximately 6:00 AM the morning of August 14th, 2018. Despite the speculation in earlier reports, at this point in time the cause of Lyric’s death has yet to be determined. The lengthy statement concluded as follows: In contrast, what is factual and known is that Lyric who just turned 26 last week on August 6, was a brilliant, creative and lovely young woman who shared a deep passion for writing, film and a long-standing commitment to social justice. She was a Christian who grew up in Los Angeles and attended the Center for Early Education and graduated from the Marlborough School in Los Angeles. Lyric graduated from Stanford University in 2014 where she studied in Paris, France for a year and spoke fluent French… Lyric’s warmth, compassion and energy will be missed by many and the family would appreciate that all speculation surrounding the circumstances of death cease until the real facts are determined during the current investigation by the NYPD and the City of New York. The Funeral Service will be held in her hometown Los Angeles at a date to be determined. View Slideshow: The Most Shocking Reality Star Deaths: Gone, But Not Forgotten
