When accepting his award, Boseman called out James Shaw Jr., the hero who averted the Waffle House crisis in Tennessee, and gave him the trophy. CNN reports : “Receiving an award for playing a superhero is amazing, but it’s even greater to acknowledge the heroes that we have in real life,” Boseman said. “So I just want to acknowledge somebody that’s here today. James Shaw Jr. Where are you? Stand. If you don’t know James Shaw Jr., he fought off a gunman in Antioch, Tennessee at a Waffle House. He saved lives. Before we go any further, allow us to say up front: There are no winner in this situation. There are no sides to take between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Both really need to go away and figure out some sort of amicable relationship for the sake of their daughter and that’s pretty much where we stand on their never-ending, ridiculous, scandalous drama. Still, we’re obligated to report on it. So here we go… During this week’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation , Ronnie told his roommates that he didn’t completely trust Harley because she had cheated in the past. (The installment was filmed months ago, remember, prior to Harley giving birth to Ronnie’s daughter in early April.) “You’re nervous she’s going to cheat on you?” Deena asked Ronnie at one point. “Yeah,” he replied. “Because she did before?” Snooki follow. “Yeah,” he said again. The thing is, of course, Ronnie cheated on Harley on muliple occasions himself; shamelessly so, as we witnessed on previous installments of the Jersey Shore reboot. “Nobody’s perfect. I did my dirt too,” Ronnie did acknowledge on this new episode, adding as an excuse: “But everything I did was a reaction to her actions. I’m also not used to being with someone like myself. Like, I met my match.” That much has been clear by the very public fights Jen and Ronnie have engaged in of late. Before we recount those, however, let’s hear from Harley, shall we? Is Ronnie at least telling the truth? Did she sleep with another man behind his back? “I’m sure he’s referring to when we were dating for about a month or two,” Harley tells Us Weekly , confessing to her sins, but making it sound like they shouldn’t really count. She continued: “We hadn’t established a real relationship; my ex came back around. I had mixed feelings at the time. We just got out of a four-year relationship.” A mere month after becoming parents, Jen and Ronnie WENT OFF ON EACH OTHER via social media . “Note to self: Can’t turn a natural-born HO, into a HOUSEWIFE,” Ronnie said to open this back-and-forth several weeks ago, adding of his baby mama: If you find them in the gutter, leave them in the gutter.” He followed this up with another post that read as follows: “If your significant other keeps sex videos of their ex, shouldn’t they show enough respect to delete them, esp. after being in a new relationship for over a year?” Ronnie also referred to Harley as a ” cum dumpster .” This happened a few weeks after she gave birth to his child. As you can see, these two bring out the worst in each other. And the worst of it all was captued on camera: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley In her chat with Us Weekly, Harley says her cheating with her ex is what got Ronnie all worked up. “This is all part of the Instagram fight we got into because of this incident,” she admits. “When I came clean about this, he came clean about three times he hooked up with other girls in the same time period. “We decided we wanted to be together and work though this and not to ever do it again.” This is what Harley says… but consider what she allegedly did in Las Vegas on June 7. She surprised her man in diabolical fashion, an insider tells this same tabloid, while was shooting scenes for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2. “Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” this source said of the recent fight, explaining: “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming. “Jen lunged, spit and shoved Ronnie. Hotel security got involved, who then called the Las Vegas police department.” Sigh . It bears repeating AGAIN that these two have a very young child together. They really need to work something out.
We hate to say it, but… Yep, him too. In the wake of horrifying accusations against Chris Hardwick , Nerdist Industries – the content company founded this television host and personality – has severed all ties with the comedian. The breaking news comes about one day after actress Chloe Dykstra accused an ex-boyfriend (who she did not name, yet who everyone assumed to be Hardwick) of abhorrent behavior during her time dating him. “Chris Hardwick had no operational involvement with Nerdist for the two years preceding the expiration of his contract in December 2017,” said the company via statement on Friday, adding: “He no longer has any affiliation with Legendary Digital Networks. “The company has removed all reference to Mr. Hardwick even as the original Founder of Nerdist pending further investigation.” Nerdist also posted the following message on Twitter, which aims to assist those who have been a victim of abuse. In an essay written on Medium titled “Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession,” Chloe Dykstra, a 29-year old actress who is the daughter of an ex-baseball player, outlined an allegedly abusive relationship with an unnamed ex-boyfriend that she endured in her early ’20s. During this romance, Dykstra claims she suffered “long-term abuse,” sexual assault and career blacklisting. Early in this relationship, Dykstra (pictured below) alleged that there were “rules” established by her lover that she had to follow, including reserving her nights for him… not having close male friends… not drinking alcohol … and not talking in public places out of fear people were listening due to his celebrity. She wrote in this essay that, after the two started dating, she once turned down sex because she wasn’t feeling well. Simple and understandable, right? Not to this man. “He responded, ‘I just want to remind you, the reason my last relationship didn’t work out was because of the lack of sex.’ It was a veiled threat. I succumbed,” she wrote, expounding: “Every night, I laid there for him, occasionally in tears. He called it ‘starfishing.’ He thought the whole idea was funny.” Totally and completely disgusting. Again, Dykstra did not name Hardwick. However, she Liked the Tweet of an Internet user who linked to her her story with the caption, “Chris Hardwick is trash.” In her essay, the actress also explains that she was referring to a man nearly 20 years older who went from “a podcaster to a powerhouse CEO of his own company.” This is a picture of Hardwick with Dykstra: ” I made the choice to accept his controlling behavior, as he’d just left his long-term girlfriend and I assumed that he was going through some serious emotional discomfort,” she wrote. “This was a huge mistake.” Dykstra wrote about that she pondered suicide multiple times and had reached the lowest point in her life when she was looking over the 101 freeway while standing on an overpass. After three years, she ultimately left Hardwick for someone else. In response, she claimed this boyfriend contacted companies she worked with to get her fired by threatening to never work with them. Moreover, she said an unnamed woman she had trusted helped destroy her friendships. At 25 years old, Dykstra said she was blacklisted. Chloe ended her post by saying she is now in a “much better place” and: “This story, post, whatever this is, serves as both closure for me as I say farewell to my twenties and stumble my way into my thirties, and it serves as a warning for every single one of you, regardless of gender… “Please, please, keep an eye out for those red flags.” Hardwick has not yet responded to this story. The Watts MC steps up to the plate with Redemption , featuring Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Future, and more. Redemption features production from Mike WilLL Made It, Hit-Boy, Boi-1Da, Sounwave, Jake One and more. The album opens with “The Bloodiest” and shows Rock in top form with his signature aggressive style. Rock taps Brent Faiyaz for vocal assistance on “For What It’s Worth” and Hykeem Cater gives Rock a heater of a track for “Knock It Off” that serves as one of the album’s early highlights. Pops and Crooklin provide the backdrop for “OSOM” featuring J. Cole. Rock goes into autobiographical mode while sharing his rise to fame while struggling with his ties to the streets. Cole gives another one of his solid performances, mirroring Rock’s somber tale of battling with the pressures of being a rap star. VH1 9 Mag Founder Ryan Henry Speaks On His Rocky Relationships With His Former Staff And His Current Relationship Status The 4th Season of “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” definitely got off to a rocky start, with 9 Mag now fractured between Ryan’s old team and his new one, so BOSSIP had to reach out and chop it up with Ryan Henry about what’s been going on since the end of Season 3, including whether there’s any hope of reconciliation and to learn whether or not he has managed to make things right with Rachel. BOSSIP: What have the reactions been like since the first episode of the season aired? Ryan Henry: The reactions have been all over the place. People have been with the show since Season 1. There’s a lot of different characters on the show and everyone is not gonna be in tune with whatever decision I decide to make. It’s been a ride though and there’s people who are still supporting from Season 1 and Season 2, so with Season 4 I really appreciate those people who are so supportive. BOSSIP: Glad to hear you’re holding up because that criticism can be hard to take. RH: I’m solid, I’m from Chicago. BOSSIP: Let’s get into the way the last season ended, how did you feel about Kat putting you on blast on TV? RH: People are gonna take it how they wanna take it. I don’t fault her for how she felt needed to go about it as a woman. I don’t have no hard feelings towards her I wish her the best. How did that affect your situation with Rachel off camera? RH: When things like that comes to light, I had to do what I needed to do to make sure things are right in my household. I’ve known Rachel 15 years of my life and she has my children. That’s not someone trying to make you act different, that’s just someone who cares about my life seeing something and wanting me to work on it for me to be better. Do you feel like Charmaine was disloyal? RH: I never felt that Charmaine was disloyal. I’m gonna give it to her just like I’d give it to Danielle. We brought you in the shop initially as Kat’s friends and when it was time for me to remove myself from those people, if they had to pick sides I couldn’t ask them to pick my side. If that woman and I weren’t in a comfortable space together I wouldn’t want her to come back and work whenever she wanted. She didn’t even live in Chicago, she lived in LA. So after we have a bad run in I’m not gonna say “Hey, come back and work whenever you want.” Like right now, we shouldn’t be working together. So for them to go against what I say for this business, that’s where I felt the disrespect. But that’s what I expect from them, those are Kat’s friends. In terms of the cast overall, who do you still have a relationship with? RH: Me and Phor, we went to high school together. That’s always been my brother, since before tattooing, and his brother Don had to handle what he had to do for business, but they always been my brothers. Even Danielle, I talked to Danielle, there’s no hard feelings. It looked like I just turned my back on everybody and they left me, but it gets hard over there too! There’s a lot that you’ll see on this new season. Did you want to clear the air at all, about the way the shop was destroyed? RH: You see what happened, you see what was implied, you only get 42 minutes to get a whole story on television. I would never admit to doing something as heinous as thatk, but you know things happen. If people wanna blame me for that, just like they’d try to blame me for something else, I ain’t locked up so, PROVE IT. Do you feel like “Black Ink” ruined 9Mag? RH: I don’t think it ruined 9 Mag. 9 Mag is the experience people get when they walk in to get a tattoo, it’s a great representation of Chicago and will continue to be that. I do feel like it ruined the relationships between people. That may be my fault because I brought people together to grow and be something better than themselves. Everybody can’t handle it. So what is the status of the new 9Mag? RH: Even in the first episode, what made people think it looked like I walked away, 9Mag is not that building, it’s wherever we take the experience, so stay tuned and you’ll see what’s coming for the new 9Mag. So is the shop open and ready right now? RH: I’m always working, but the shop will be open very soon and you’ll see we’re pretty much live with it. As it airs is as we’re opening.
