The house that Mario built played it safe by only focusing on the games that are definitely on the way for Nintendo Switch owners. Highly-anticipated titles like Super Smash Bros Ultimate , Dragon Ball Fighter Z , Fortnite , Pokemon: let’s Go! all got some time to shine during the conference. If you happened to miss the Nintendo’s annual showing for whatever reason, we got you covered. Super Smash Bros Ultimate The unique fighting game is making its Nintendo Switch debut December 7th and will feature every single Smash Bros. character that appeared in the games over the years. That is over 60 characters which also includes DLC characters from the Wii U and 3DS versions which means this game is MASSIVE. Nintendo also revealed Samus’ arch-enemy Ridley will be making his Smash Bros. debut, Amibo support and a Super Smash Bros special edition GameCube controller for Melee fans. You will need a USB adapter just like the Wii U to use the controller on the Switch. “AGT” Winner Neal Boyd Dead at 42 Sad news for the music world today, as ‘America’s Got Talent’ contest winner Neal Boyd has passed away. He was 42. The opera singer who took home the $1 million grand prize back in 2008 passed away in his mother’s Sikeston, Missouri home around 6 p.m. last Sunday. According to Page Six , Boyd suffered from a number of medical issues, ranging from Kidney failure, heart failure, and liver problems. On top of that, he was severely injured in a 2017 car accident. After winning AGT, Nelson released an album called “My American Dream” back on 2009. He also later ran as a Republican candidate for a southeast Missouri House of Representatives seat, though he did not manage to win. May he rest in peace. Getty
Pete Davidson has a message for those who thought he was moving quickly upon getting two Ariana Grande-themed tattoos after dating the singer for just a couple weeks: Oh yeah?!? Check THIS out! As if the aforementioned decision by Davidson did not seem rash enough, an insider now tells Us Weekly that the artist and the Saturday Night Live cast member are engaged. Yes, engaged . To be married! “They are a perfect fit,” this source tells the tabloid , confirming that the stars have agreed to become husband and wife, yet are not hurrying to rush their vows or anything: “They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive.” We find that a tad hard to believe. Only because Davidson and Grande have been dating for about as long as the Cleveland Cavaliers had a chance of defeating the Golden State Warriors in this year’s NBA Finals. Word of a romance between the singer and the comedian only first went public on May 21, mere days after Grande announced her split from Mac Miller , her boyfriend of nearly two years. That means Grande and Davidson have gotten engaged after less than a month of dating. Yes, they’ve shared a handful of photos of each other on social media. But we’re not sure that means the relationship is built to last for all of eternity. Still, a second source backs up the first Us Weekly source, alleging the couple “were telling people that they’re engaged” at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 9. Writes the magazine on its official website: “They are both constantly making each other laugh. Their moms have met. They’ve been very public with their relationship on social media, and they are very in love.” Heck, Us Weekly even quotes a THIRD source in its story, one who says the following: “They are looking forward to a very long engagement together.” That’s an odd way of framing it, isn’t it? Most people would say they are looking forward to a very long marriage to their partner. But while we have our doubts about the future of this couple, we’d be thrilled to be proven wrong. We’re all for young, mindless and intense love between two people. We’ll be among the first to buy Pete and Ariana a wedding gift if we receive an invite to their big day. The thing is, ABC Family has run Harry Potter marathons that have run longer than this romance, so you’ll understand if we’re a bit reticient to check out any registries just yet. What do YOU think? Well, no part of this story is okay. Multiple reports say that something heated and nasty went down att he filming of the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Stevie J is accused of assaulting Erica Mena, among other things. Is Stevie J about to get fired? It sounds like Stevie J being a deadbeat dad isn't the worst thing about him. (Actually that's not exactly a surprise; as the youths would say: we been knew ) BET reports that Stevie J went on a nasty tirade at the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Their report said that things “got extremely intense,” which echoes sentiments from multiple other sources about the reunion. Not only did he say vile things about Erica Mena, but he reportedly said some truly despicable things about her 11-year-old son. Things “came to a new level of petty when Stevie allegedly called [Erica]’s son King Conde a ‘f–got’ in response to severe shade Mena threw his way.” Hey, if you're a reality star, you feud with your fellow reality stars. You don't throw anti-gay slurs at an 11-year-old. At least one report says that Erica responded by slapping Stevie J. (We would never want to encourage violence, but we will say that her outrage is understandable) This is reportedly when things went from bad to worse. According to reports, Stevie J responded with a violent assault. Atlanta Black Star reports that “security had to pull the 46-year-old off [Erica].” Horrifying. Stevie J “was then asked to leave the building.” Reports say that he is currently “banned from attending any” events for the series while producers conduct an investigation. He “is reportedly on the brink of getting fired.” In a now-deleted video that we have included with this post, Erica Mena seemed to allude to these events. “Stevie J's a B–CH and he likes to fight girls.” Throughout the video, she seems to be seething with anger, barely contained behind a facade. One can absolutely understand her anger if all of the reports that we have heard are true. She would be furious after his alleged physical assault. She would also be fuming that he said such vile things, particularly about her young son. If Erica did strike him, that would have given Stevie J grounds to complain or press charges — but not to attack her. Sadly, this is not even the first time that Stevie J has expressed anti-gay sentiments against a fellow cast member. Back in Season 5, he objected to Mimi Faust dating a woman. He said at the time that he didn't want his daughter being “raised in a lesbian household.” ( Mimi Faust explained that she's not a lesbian , but honestly, that doesn't begin to cover Stevie J's statement) It seemed at the time that he walked back those sentiments. If he's hurling anti-gay slurs around at children when he gets angry, however, it sounds like the underlying bigotry still lingers. Along with some alleged and worrisome violent impulses. Stevie J has gotten away with bad behavior before. But sometimes, there's a final straw. An alleged physical attack upon a costar following a vitriolic tirade sounds like it might qualify. Besides, recently, the culture is becoming less permissive when it comes to inexcusable behavior by celebrities that directly harms others. (Slowly but surely, anyway) Stevie J may have just cost himself his reality career. But we'll see what the investigation concludes. Right now, we only have reports to go on.

It’s called the Pooper Snooper and it’s only one stop away from being a crime scene investigation kit. Here’s how it works: First, let’s say your strolling along in your neighborhood thinking positive thoughts when BAM…your new pair of Nikes squash into the deep crevices of dog poop. Pissed, right! Well with Pooper Snooper you can now make a pin of your location, similar to Google Maps, and press the “add poop” button. Then, you can take a picture of the said poop and add any linear notes crucial to the crime — e.g. color, shape, smell, size, etc. Then your info will be uploaded to the app and map, so future travelers can avoid a messy situation. With enough users, the uploaded poop warnings can start a trend in a particular neighborhood, letting folks know that people don’t know how to clean up in that area. Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian did a good deed. And it didn’t have anything to do with gratuitous nudity, believe it or not. Nope, while Kim usually brightens the world with selfies or fashion or mindless reality television trash, she used her powers for good by going to the White House to meet with Donald Trump about a woman named Alice Johnson. You probably know the details on this already — the story and the photo of Kim meeting Trump were pretty widely mocked. But just in case you missed it, Alice Johnson is a 63-year-old grandma who was sentenced to life in prison without parole for non-violent drug charges — her first arrest, even — all the way back in 1996. Kim took an interest in Alice, who was obviously unbelievably failed by the justice system, and she used her voice to help take the issue directly to the president. It worked: Trump granted Alice clemency, and she was released from prison on Wednesday . After hearing the good news, Kim tweeted that she was “grateful” to Trump, Jared Kushner, and to everyone who helped achieve the goal, because “her commutation is inspirational and gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance.” “I hope to continue this important work by working together with organizations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition,” she added. So that’s really nice, right? It was weird to see Kim at the White House with Donald Trump who is somehow still the president , of course, but it’s an undeniably good thing that Alice Johnson was able to be released. But still, lots and lots of people have been mocking Kim for what happened, and she acknowledges that in a new interview she did with Van Jones. For one, she admitted she was starstruck — not by Trump, but by the White House itself. “I never get starstruck,” she said. “I was starstruck over the Oval Office … It really felt powerful, and felt like, you can just feel the history in there.” “I just took a second to take it all in, and then we talked about it.” As for Trump, she explained that he told her that the situation with Alice “just isn’t fair,” and that “he knew that this is the right thing to do, and he said that from the start after he had heard her whole story and situation and he knew it was the right thing to do.” When it was mentioned to her that many other celebrities have been avoiding the White House these days, she said that “Kanye’s already given him legitimacy … you know, in that way.” Yeah, he has . Kim didn’t think she would be “used” in any kind of weird way for her celebrity, but “at the end of the day, he heard me out. We got the job done.” “I juat have to stay focused, and I have to know that if he is the only person in the world that could have done this for her, why wouldn’t I go talk to that person, if I had the opportunity to?” she asked. “Forget about my fears. Forget about my life. That was the right thing to do.” That’s actually pretty admirable, right? Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley may not belong together. We know this statement may come as a shock to some, but we just really get the impression that this Jersey Shore cast member and his on-again/off-again/on-again girlfriend really ought to be off again. For good. We’ve arrived at this bold conclusion following multiple reports that Ronnie and Jen got into a fight on Thursday in Las Vegas. Like, an actual physical fight. According to Us Weekly, the intense disagreement got underway after Harley showed up in Las Vegas, where Ronnie is filming scenes for the new season of Jersey Shore. This was not a planned visit… and it quickly deteriorated into a gigantic and very ugly mess. “ Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” an insider tells Us Weekly, elaboraring as follows: “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming. “Jen lunged, spit and shoved Ronnie. Hotel security got involved, who then called the Las Vegas police department.” Does this sounds a tad bit insane? Yes. But remember: Ronnie and Jen engaged in a vicious social media argument just a few weeks ago, one that entailed Ronnie labeling his estranged lover a ” cum dumpster ” and Harley responding by saying Ronnie was a “coke head” and awful father. (Yes, father . Ronnie and Jen welcomed a daughter together in early April. God help us all.) They are still trying to find her for questioning.” This source also says that spitting on someone in Las Vegas is considered a misdemeanor, which is sort of hilarious. Isn’t someone spit on in Las Vegas about once per hour? Meanwhile, a follow-up to this initial story claims that Ortiz-Magro and Harley were arguing was the death of their dog. We’ll let the tabloid insider explain what allegedly transpired: “Their pit bull died. That’s part of why they were fighting. “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.” Yikes. Going back to their back-and-forth in late April, the duo exchanged insults on social media and both accused each other of cheating… and then appeared to get into an actual brawl on Instagram Live. “Put your hands on me again! This is the basic message that has been sent by the children of Kathleen Dehmlow on the occasion of her death, as they sent an obituary to the Redwood Falls Gazette that is unlike any other obituary you have read. (Okay, maybe it’s a little bit like this obituary .) The obituary opens by stating a few simple facts: Kathleen was born on March 19, 1938 and resided in Springfield, Minnesota. She married Dennis Dehmlow in 1957 and had two kids with him, Gina and Jay. So far, so normal, right? But then the tone quickly changes… In 1962 she became pregnant by her husband’s brother Lyle Dehmlow and moved to California. She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schunk. Oh… well, ouch. Okay then! This is how the pieces concludes: She passed away on May 31, 2018, in Springfield and will now face judgment. She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand that this world is a better place without her The newspaper removed the obituary from its pages/archives amidst reader outcry that it was in poor taste, which actually raises an interesting question: Was it in poor taste? Why must we honor the dead if the dead inflicted such pain on those close to them when they were alive? Kathleen’s son, Jay Dehmalo, actually spoke to The Daily Mail and explained why he and his sibling wanted to out their late mother in this sort of fashion: “We wanted to finally get the last word,” he said. “You could write it all down in a book or turn it into a movie and people wouldn’t believe what we went through.” Jay Dehmalo, pictured here, has written the mother of all obituaries. Do you think it should have been removed from the newspaper? Does he have any regrets about doing so? Nope. “We knew there would be backlash but it really has helped us to finally get the last word,” Jay told The Daily Mail of himself and his sister, Gina.
With all the talk of the current president’s rampant sexism , it’s easy to forget that 45 is plenty of company when it comes to abusive, misogynistic commanders-in-chief. We’ve had a handful of sex-scandal-free administrations, but if you’re well-versed in White House history, then you’re well aware that a sizable percentage of US presidents cheated on their wives (including 50 percent of all Roosevelts!) or otherwise behaved boorishly toward women. Bill Clinton, of course, is one of the most famous examples of this phenomenon. Clinton famously tried to hook up with anything with a pair of X chromosomes over the course of his political career. In today’s political environment, it’s tough to imagine Bill would’ve been able to secure the Democratic nomination much less be elected to the White House, but for some reason, whenever he turned on the Slick Willy charm and busted out a smooth sax solo, the 1992 public just melted. One would think that Clinton would keep a relatively low profile in the wake of the #MeToo movement as conduct that was frowned upon then is looked at much more dimly now. But Bill possesses the hubris of a character in Greek mythology whose fatal flaw is a tragic level of horniness. Because he apparently feels that the shelves of our nation’s airport bookstores are tragically under-stocked, Clinton recently released a political thriller with the help of James Patterson, king of the raised-lettering paperback cover. The novel is called The President Is Missing — a title that no doubt has many Americans wishing it was a work of non-fiction — but based on Clinton’s tone-deaf promotional tour, a more apt name might be The Ex-President Has Lost His Effing Mind . In one appalling interview, Clinton insisted that he does not owe Monica Lewinsky an apology. He then attempted to play the sympathy card, whining that he racked up millions in legal defense fees as a result of his sexual escapades. Not surprisingly, several of the women that Clinton had questionable relations with have taken issue with his claims of innocence. One such victim is Gennifer Flowers , a former actress and television reporter who came forward during Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign to claim that she had carried on a 12-year affair with the then-Arkansas governor. Last night, Flowers sat for an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and revealed that Clinton savagely harassed her prior to the start of their relationship: “Well, it’s very interesting because back in 1977 when I met Bill, we didn’t have the laws to protect us,” Flowers told Ingraham. “When I first met Bill Clinton, it was when I was sent out on my first story by myself after my training with my cameraman. He came out on to me that night. ” Flowers said she initially rebuffed Clinton’s advances, but he refused to let her be: “I told him to knock it off. He proceeded to continue to come onto me for three months before I decided that I wanted to have a relationship with him, which at that point was consensual,” she stated. “But in today’s standards, and in hindsight, it was definitely sexual harassment. I was a little bit ashamed to admit that because in a way, I mean, I felt guilty because I was a willing participant, at a point. “So I felt guilty about saying that I was sexually harassed in the beginning. But it definitely was, absolutely.” Flowers burst into laughter when told that Clinton considers himself a supporter of the #MeToo movement: “He would say that of course, what would he say but he’s in support of it? He’s a huge abuser of the Me Too movement,” she said before listing several other women with whom Clinton had extramarital affairs: “And I would like for the Me Too movement to be so kind and recognize myself and Paula (Jones) and Juanita and Kathleen (Willey) and many, many other women starting many years ago that have come out with claims of sexual harassment from Bill Clinton. “They haven’t given us any respect as far as I’m concerned.
