First, the good news: Ghostbusters 3 will begin production in early 2015. Now, the bad news: Ivan Reitman has dropped out as director. Following the death of Harold Ramis – his good friend and a main player in the first two Ghostbusters – Reitman has chosen to leave the project. Talk of a third installment in this wildly popular franchise has been running rampant for years, but not until recently did actors Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd sign on for a follow-up. It remains unclear just what kind of role they will play in Ghostbusters 3, but Reitman told Deadline it will likely be “minor.” He also went into detail about why he backed out of directing. “When I came back from Harold’s funeral, it was really moving and it made me think about a lot of things… I told [Amy and Doug Belgrad from Sony] I thought I could help, but let’s find a really good director and make it with him. “So that’s what we’ve agreed will happen. I didn’t want all kinds of speculation about what happened with me, that is the real story.” No release date has been set for Ghostbusters 3, but it will likely hit theaters in late 2015 or early 2016.

The actress, who grew up in a rural town in Ontario, recalled that her mom’s disciplinary measures include locking her and sisters out of the house. NeNe Leakes Says Bravo Editing Makes Her Look Bad And Discusses Marlo If you want to go after Bravo, blame them for making you look like a coward after running away from Marlo. According to Sister 2 Sister Magazine: NeNe Leakes isn’t too fond of how she’s being portrayed on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” this season, accusing the show’s production team of trying to ruin her rep. “I feel like these networks and production companies—I’m just keeping it real—I just feel like they build you up to tear you down. I feel like they’ve done whatever they could do to try to not show me in the best light,” NeNe recently told Essence.com. Like many of her reality TV peers, NeNe seemed to be pointing the finger of blame at those who edit the hours and hours of video footage to put the show together, but she didn’t want to sound like a cliché. “I feel like so many people cry wolf on editing. I’m just saying that they’ve done whatever they could to try to diminish anything that I’ve done and I’m okay with it because I know about reality TV. Every season there has to be a villain; there has to be somebody that straddles the fence, and there has to be a little $#!t stirrer. All of those things make the show,” said NeNe who didn’t identify which of her co-stars are filling those roles this time around. NeNe has previously accused Kenya of being the troublemaker this season and that conflict caused a rift between NeNe and one-time bridesmaid Marlo Hampton. “What you see on the show is not what happened to Marlo and me,” NeNe said. “No one can step in our relationship and break us up if we’re real friends. So, that’s not it. Our stuff is deeper than Kenya Moore.” Hopefully, these bitter birds can kiss and make up one day.

Gross… Woman Finds Object That Looks Like A Dead Chicken In Daughter’s Soup When they say Campbell’s chicken soup… they really mean it. According to The Denver Channel: A mother says she found an unappetizing object floating in a container of soup that clearly did not belong in her daughter’s meal. “It’s like a train wreck — you can’t stop looking at,” Nicole Montgomery said. “I keep looking at it and thinking, ‘How does this happen?’ I have no idea.” Montgomery says she poured the single-serving can of Campbell’s Chicken and Stars soup into a bowl to heat it up for her daughter Molly. She noticed the strange lump when she took the bowl out of the microwave. “I opened it up, and there was this spec in there — I was like, ‘What is that?’ I looked a little bit closer and I was like, ‘Oh, that looks like a dead chicken.’” The object is shaped like a lima bean, nearly twice the size of the star-shaped noodles that give the soup its name. Several dark and narrow appendages reach upward from the core of the bean-shaped lump. “I just can’t stop thinking about it,” Montgomery said. “It makes me sick to my stomach to think about what was in that soup. I know things get in the manufacturing process all the time, but this is a big company that should know a little bit better.” Campbell’s Soup Company issued this statement: “Campbell Soup Company takes all claims of product contamination very seriously. Whenever we receive such a claim, it is fully investigated by our Quality Assurance team to determine its possible cause. We are in the process of evaluating the claim and have not yet received the exhibit from the consumer to conduct our investigation.” A spokeswoman said a FedEx box is en route to Montgomery’s house for the exhibit.
