According to Rolling Out: When news broke that NeNe Leakes had been hospitalized with a mystery illness, most people showered her with get well messages, Wendy Williams, however, accused her of being a fraud. On Tuesday’s show the talk-show host blasted Leakes for faking her illness. “She probably has a hangnail or something,” said Williams during the “Hot Topics” section of her show. “NeNe may have had an allergic reaction to not getting enough attention,” she added. And while audience members giggled at the host’s accusations, it was later revealed that Leakes was indeed sick — with a blood clot in her lung. “Late last week I wasn’t feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath,” wrote Leakes on her official website. “I know my body and I know when I should be concerned, so I went to the hospital to get checked out. After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung. I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job,” she added. Wendy Williams has since been blasted by irate Leakes’ fans who are now demanding an apology for the Real Housewives of Atlanta” star. Hopefully, the queen of mean has learned her lesson–not.
