E ntertainment mogul Nick Cannon is adding daytime talk show television to his repertoire. According to the Hollywood Reporter , the Ncredible Entertainment founder inked a deal with Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury for the creation of his own talk show that is slated to come to television in 2020. Cannon says he was inspired to create his own show after filling in for Wendy Williams during her hiatus. “I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds,” he said. “When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams’ show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience.” The leadership team at Debmar-Mercury says that Cannon has proven himself to be a “dominant creative and entrepreneurial force across film, primetime TV, music, comedy, stage and online platforms” and are excited to partner with him on this new venture. While he’s gearing up to make his daytime television debut, Cannon has several other projects in the works. His MTV show Wild ‘N Out has been renewed for two more seasons and the show The Masked Singer , which he hosts, has been renewed as well. He also has a 30-city arena tour which is slated to kick off in 2020. News about Cannon’s new show comes shortly after Keke Palmer landed a deal with ABC to join the daytime talk show Strahan and Sara and the launch of broadcast journalist Tamron Hall ’s own talk show. He learned quickly that Vincent isn’t the one to play with and got his ass kidnapped. This happened immediately after he delivered Proctor’s daughter to her Uncle Benny’s house. Speaking of Proctor, we lost a real one last week. With some help from annoying “nephew” Tommy shows up at the penthouse, guns blazing…literally. After wasting a ridiculous amount of ammo, he finally catches up with Ghost’s favorite attorney and kills him. Riq’s “Kidnapping” Isn’t What It Seems To Be Source: Power / Starz A s mentioned in the brief recap above, Riq’s failed attempt at being a hustler got himself kidnapped by Vincent. The episode picks right back up at Coney Island, but we learn quickly that this situation isn’t what it seems. Riq is using his kidnapping to basically extort his dad and Uncle Tommy. He thinks it will help pay back the money he owes to Vincent and get a 50/50 cut in the process. What he doesn’t know is Vincent doesn’t plan on paying him a damn cent and will kill all of them in the process. Meanwhile, Ghost and Tommy are now scrambling to get enough product together to so they can get the $2 million that Vincent is requesting in exchange for Riq’s life. After a bit of a squabble, the two finally decide to put their minds together to formulate a plan that will help secure that incredible amount of money. Tommy agrees to acquire an insane amount of product to push, and Ghost will use his connections to help pay for it. Ghost runs to Rashad Tate to ask him for a cool $1 million out of his campaign funs, and Tate hit him with the “n**** what?” Tate can’t stand Ghost’s ass, but unfortunately for him, the ever so slick former drug dealer has some dirt on him, so he has no choice but to give James the money. Ghost promises to hand over the recording to Tate and return the money in 24 hours. Tommy is handling business on his end and secures the ridiculous amount of drugs from Jason. Of course, Tommy’s drug connect is very curious as to why his distro needs so much weight. Tommy manages to quell Jason’s curiosity by basically telling him hey you got your money, now mind your business. While Ghost and Tommy are getting their plan together, Riq and Vincent are making sure their “kidnapping” is going down without a hitch. Vincent runs up on Tasha to break the bad news to her just to see if she knew anything about what was going down. Like Riq explained to his “kidnapper,” he was well aware Ghost would have not told his mother, and he was correct. After finding out what is going on, Tasha runs straight to Tommy’s crib to voice her frustration with Ghost. She learns that Ghost is now unwillingly back in the drug game and demands to help and offers to clean money through her daycare and help with the books. That’s all good, BUT Keisha who just became hip to drug game is not onboard with the idea. How are you gonna tell Tasha she can’t help get her own son back though? Source: Power / Starz Anyway, Tommy gets Holly 2.0 to calm down and accept the fact she is not in control of the decisions around the matter, and now everything is set. Tommy manages to get 2-Bit and Spank onboard with the plan to help move the product after Black Grimace shows he is down for the cause. Ghost recruits Dre by convincing the worried goon he’ll help find his daughter with some help from Tate plus in the process will help him become Jason’s new distro. Ghost still doesn’t trust Dre and reveals to him that he will be working with Alfonse to help him move the drugs. The plan goes off without a hitch, and they manage to get the money, and now it’s time to pay Vincent and get Riq back. Jason Is Right On Time To Ruin Everything Source: Power / Starz O n this show, you should have already known that nothing goes as plan. On the way to the drop off the money, Ghost and Tommy are ambushed by Jason and his crew. It would appear that Jason was watching them move the entire time, and he is not happy to learn of himself being out of the loop. To make up for the money the two former friends owe him, he decides to take half of the $2 million ransom request much to the dismay of Tommy and Ghost. Knowing they dodged a severe bullet, Ghost and Tommy are now $1 million in the hole and don’t know what to do. The only logical thing they can think of is to go to Vincent with what they have and explain to him what happened. If you said to yourself that idea wasn’t going to work, then you were 100% correct. Vincent did not care and to let them know he wasn’t playing whooped Riq’s ass with a sack of oranges. Secretly we were here for it, but Ghost wasn’t, and we understand, who wants to see their son get brutalized with fruit? After Vincent goes ham ono Riq’s stomach, he tells Ghost and Tommy they got another 24 hours to get the rest of the money or Riq is dead. Jason isn’t their only problem, the feds led by Blanca and her terrible fake Rosie Perez detective voice trying to get to the bottom of Proctors murder. The whole incident seemed quite fishy to them with the backdoor being left open and no sign of forced entry. They want to question Riq about Proctor’s murder, but unfortunately, he’s currently being held “hostage” at the moment and can’t talk to anyone. Tasha To The Rescue Source: Power / Starz G host and Tommy return to Keisha and Tasha with the bad news about the drop. All hope seems lost, but Tasha comes through in the clutch. Now granted it only happened because Keisha opened her big mouth about Tasha’s side hustle at the daycare, leaving her no choice but to spill the beans. Ghost is livid at first to find out that Tasha has been hustling without his knowledge and wants to meet her connect. She, of course, says no but after some convincing from Tommy, he gets down with the plan. Keisha then points out that they need a plan B and Tasha then comes up with another idea, they should hit club Truth. The plan is to rob all the rich folks who in the building for the fundraiser event for Tate. Ghost with the help of his potential new replacement for Angela, Romana came up with the idea to help Tate raise cash. James thinks it’s a good idea and Tommy recruits 2-Bit, Spank, Black Grimace while Ghost adds Alfonse to the mix. Tasha also suggests that it would be a good idea that Ghost tells Vincent that he needs to allow Riq to talk to the cops, Ghost agrees because he knows Vincent wouldn’t want the heat surrounding him during this extortion scheme. Vincent agrees to let Riq meet with Blanca and the detective on the case. Can we add how terrible both of them are at playing cops? Anyway, Riq puts on his scared young teen act telling them he left to get some hot chocolate, and the only reason he went through the back door was to avoid a “racist neighbor.” He sealed his story with the ultimate kiss by claiming how tired he was of seeing people die and that he was sorry to hear about Proctor’s death and as far as we know both detectives ate it up. Once outside Tasha pulls her son to the side to ask him why did he make up such a bullshit story and he explains that he knows that Vincent is going to kill them all after he gets the money. When Tasha touches his stomach area, he winces in pain, and she discovers the bruises from Vincent beating him with the oranges. Source: Power / Starz Before the plan to rob Truth goes into effect, Ghost links up with Uncle Benny to speak with him in person about Proctor’s death and extend his condolences. He also wanted to share some information on who could have done it mentioning the name his now-former attorney said to him the last time he spoke with him. Benny is grateful for the tip and promises to repay Ghost if he needs anything. Ghost decides to call in that favor now asking for some help from Benny’s men. Run The Jewels Source: Power / Starz I t’s time for the big heist. Everyone is playing their part, Dre is moving the new product Tasha supplied through the club while her stripper accomplice from last week is making good on her end at the strip club. Tate approached Ghost about the money and revealed to him that somehow someway the all of it was returned when the accountants checked the books. While everyone was sipping on expensive champagne and hob-knobbing, they had no idea they were about to be jacked by 2-Bit, Spank, Black Grimace, and Alfonse. Dre who doesn’t know about the plan sees his former associates 2-Bit and Spank puts on his best confused but scared look. 2-Bit who was tasked to kill Dre before spots him and decides this would be a good time finish the job he started. Dre somehow manages to slip, and 2-Bit goes back to the matters at hand. Once they are all dressed up in the heist drip, they bust in the party demanding everyone to give up their jewelry and money. They quickly relieve everyone of their possessions and 2-Bit, Spank and Black Grimace leave. Alfonse for whatever reason decides to be extra and bother Ramona. Tate immediately recognizes Alfonse and tells James. Ghost recognizing that this could mess up the plan gives Tate his gun and decides to try and convince Alfonse to just leave. For whatever reason, Alfonse decides nah and hits Ghost in the stomach with his shotgun, Tate being a former police officer shoots and kills Alfonse. Source: Power / Starz After the dust settled, Tate now looks like a crime-fighting hero, the money he stole is insured so it will still come back. Ramona is pleased with all that goes down; you can tell she wants to give Ghost the business for what just went down. Source: Power / Starz Could she also be onto Ghost as well? Time will only tell. Ghost Knows Tommy’s Dirty Little Secret Source: Power / Starz W ith all the money secured, it’s time for the drop off part 2. Ghost and Tommy arrived with the cash and one of Vincent’s men they kidnapped as bonus insurance. Vincent and his cronies come with Riq, Tommy drops off the money, and the exchange is made. Vincent immediately shows his hand revealing his plot to kill all of them. Ghost came prepared, and signals for Benny and his crew to show up. The two mobsters know each other and Benny tells Vincent that since Riq kept his niece safe during her father’s murder, he is protected for life. If he kills Riq or anyone associated with him, there will be an all-out war between the two families. Vincent decides to take his money and back off. Source: Power / Starz While thanking Benny for his services, Ghost notices Tommy’s reaction towards him, while Tommy notices that Benny only did what he did because Ghost told him who Proctor’s killer was. After Benny leaves, the two former friends and business partners have one last moment together before parting ways. While at Source: Power / Starz Tasha’s new digs, Ghost has an epiphany and realizes that Tommy killed his attorney and Riq helped him do it. Meanwhile, Tommy knows that Ghost is well aware that he killed Proctor. Keisha pledges her allegiance to Tommy vowing to kill anyone who tries to hurt her man (yeah right). Tommy tells her to chill he got this, and the war between the two of them is back on. Well so much for that truce. Gabrielle Union will be working behind the scenes for her next project. Instead of taking on a starring role, Union will be serving as executive producer for a comedy called Black Girl Magic. According to Deadline , the half-hour, single camera series will air on NBC and follows three estranged sisters that reunite in their hometown of New Orleans, LA after they learn about a family secret. Union will be executive producing the show alongside showrunner Robia Rashid and show creators Crystal Boyd, Chandra Russell and Emebit Beyene. Source: Cassidy Sparrow / Getty Freddie Gibbs Gets A Restraining Order Against His Son’s Mother Freddie Gibbs is going through a pretty intense breakup right now. According to documents obtained by TMZ , the Gary, Indiana native claims that Raven Tatum–the mother of his son–has been harassing him and his new girlfriend since August. Things ended up getting so tense that Tatum allegedly vandalized the rapper’s Mercedes-Benz with a knife. This downward spiral all began when Gibbs allowed his baby mama to stay at his home because her house was flooded. While he was out of town, Freddie noticed on the baby monitor that Tatum had moved boxes of her belongings into their son’s room. This made him angry, so he instructed the house sitter to tell him ex to put her boxes in the garage instead. That’s when things went left. The rapper alleges that Tatum was so upset by having to put her things in the garage that she went and vandalized his car. According to Gibbs, she etched “F*** you” into the paint with a knife and then proceeded to slash his tires. But that was only the beginning. Freddie goes on to claim that Tatum got ahold of his new girlfriend’s contact information and proceeded to harass her with calls and text messages claiming that Gibbs was cheating on her. This is when Freddie decided to take things to court, where he requested that a restraining order be put on the mother of his child. The judge obliged, and now, Tatum is forced to stay 100 yards away from Freddie, his girlfriend, and his daughter from a previous relationship. He’s also sought custody of the son he shares with Tatum, but the judge ended up denying that request. Both parties are scheduled to appear in court next month where the judge will further evaluate the situation/incident.
This week, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way viewers were totally weirded out by Liam and Aladin’s awkward bath house conversation . Some fans thought that Liam was too far, that he was being rude and selfish and even childish, wanting his mom to come home and take care of him. Now, however, we’re learning that the truth is the opposite. AnDre Leila took to social media in an impassioned defense of his son, Liam. “Just wanted to set things straight,” the clarifying post begins. “To anyone who says Liam is dumb or disrespectful,” he addresses his message. “Or has mental problems.” He asserts: “You people are dumb as s–t.” Wow. Tell us how you really feel, dude. “For one thing, Laura was living off of Liam in Floriday,” Leila reveals. “He made the money,” he reveals. “And supported the household.” The post continues: “So he does not want money from her.” Some had speculated that Liam wanted Laura to return to the US so that he could mooch off of her. Leila states that it’s quite to the contrary, “’cause she is broke as f–k.” “Another thing,” Leila writes. “Is he was not rude to that dude.” He says that “TLC cut and spliced film to make it look like he was disrespectful.” Apparently this was “so all you idiots could talk about it like this.” That … is very easy to believe, actually. What follows, folks, is getting into spoiler territory. Be warned. “Laura is already divorced from that dude and is living in Ecuador for whatever reason,” Leila writes. Yes, we have already reported that Laura and Aladin are divorcing and that Laura is currently in Ecuador with Evelin. He argues: “You can’t fault a kid for loving his mom and wanting what’s best for her.” “You don’t know what he has gone through,” the post continues. “With all of the red neck f–ks she has dated.” We can imagine. Sometimes very nice and loving mothers have abhorrent taste in men. “Trust me,” Leila tells anyone reading. “Laura is a crazy mess.” In contrast: “Liam is a very level-headed, intelligent kid.” His post concludes: “I know this because he is my son!” It’s good to hear that explained, even if it is by a third party who was not present at the time. Incidentally, we have heard other things about Laura that may explain even more — things that even Liam’s father does not know. Laura was reportedly served with divorce papers from Aladin while she was filming the Tell All special. So what do we know that Liam’s father does not? Well, for one thing, she’s in Ecuador to hang out with Evelin … possibly because she has no other place to go. And why is that? Because she’s spent the past few decades living in Florida … but she’s not a native Floridian. Nor is she even an American. If reports are to be believed, Laura Canadian. And apparently she was in Florida as an undocumented immigrant for all of this time. Her son is an American and was providing her with a roof over her head for years. Now, Liam can’t house his mother anymore and she has to figure out her next move because she can’t return to the US. It’s no wonder that Liam was so, so concerned about his mother. According to MarketWatch and contrary to Republicans claiming Democrats are foregoing their work to impeach Donald Trump, the House managed to pass the SAFE Banking Act. This legislation will allow banks to do business with banks. Although marijuana is still federally illegal, cannabis businesses in legal states still have nowhere to do their banking. The constant influx of cash makes dispensaries targets for robberies and other crime. Now it’s time for the Senate to do their job and pass this bill, unfortunately, Republicans like “Moscow” Mitch McConnell is staunchly anti-marijuana and doesn’t seem to give a damn if people get robbed or killed. However, semi-rational GOP-ers like Sen. Mike Crapo says he wants a vote before the end of the year. Perhaps there are provisions that could be put in place that would prompt conservative support but until then we are skeptical of their support. “There’s a line of thinking that McConnell could go along with a pot banking bill to help Republicans in the 2020 elections,” Katz said. “The tough re-election prospects of Republican Sen. Cory Gardner [a co-sponsor of the bill] of marijuana-friendly Colorado are often cited. But the benefit to Republicans, especially in the West and South, of supporting a bill that’s at least superficially pro-marijuana, is debatable.” It seems silly to continue to fight America’s evolved view on cannabis with 33 states that have legalized medicinal use. “I’m fairly confident that either the SAFE Act or STATES Act will be passed,” said Rob DiPisa, co-chair of law firm Cole Schotz’s Cannabis Law Group. “I think the industry has come too far. The cat’s out of the bag, and it’s not going to disappear, so banking needs to happen.” This is meaningful legislation that will benefit all those who are looking to enter the cannabis industry, especially Black business owners who want to open dispensaries in our neighborhoods.

During a recent interview with VladTV she was asked by Vlad about a tweet she posted in 2015 with the simple caption “plastic surgery”. According to Bossip , Dipset capo Jim Jones and long-time partner Chrissy Lampkin lost their NJ mansion after The U.S. National Bank Association sued the reality star couple back in 2017 for allegedly failing to pay their mortgage since 2010. According to the complaint, Jones bought the house in 2006 and took out a $680,000 mortgage with a 6.875 percent interest rate. He agreed to make monthly payments of $4,467, but instead, Jones stopped paying it almost ten years ago, defaulting the loan and accelerating the total balance. Apparently, Jim Jones and Chrissy were unable to come up with the cash because the courts issued its final judgment against the couple last week and the property was sold for $100 at an auction. Despite legal woes, Jones has been focused on making music. As previously reported early this year while celebrating his B-Sides Reunion with partner in rhyme Cam’ron and Jay Z , Jones was also celebrating beating a gun case in Georgia just in time for the release of his first major solo project in 10 years and The Heatmakerz collaboration, El Chapo . A 19-year old Florida woman was arrested this week because she chased her grandfather around with a knife. Allegedly , we suppose we should write. According to Nassau County officials, Katie Jade Gates was taken into custody after she grew very angry due to not being permitted to eat more than her “fair share of tomatoes” at a recent dinner. It’s unclear at the moment just what type of tomatoes we’re talking about here. Katie’s own grandmother told the police that Gates started to throw a tantrum after being told she couldn’t have more tomatoes. Gate then became disrespectful toward others in the house, enraging them, according to the official report. It reeally was quite the scene, apparently. First, Gates hurled a cigarette pack at her 73-year old great-grandmother, striking her in the eye, deputies have put on record. From there, Gates grabbed a knife and started waving it toward her grandfather. Her grandfather sprinted out of the house as quickly as his old bones could carry him… and Gates proceeded to chase him with the knife in her hand, police say. She threatened to stab him in the face and began poking the knife toward his face, nearly cutting him in the process. “Motherf–ker, I’ll stab you in your f–king face,” Gates supposedly screamed at her elderly relative. Police arrested Gates — who lives with these grandparents — on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery on a victim over the age of 65. She was transported to the Nassau County Detention Facility and later released out of jail on a $18,000 bond. She has allegedly confessed to the cigarette pack throwing and even to picking up the knife, but not to using it in a threatening manner. UPDATE : If Gates somehow continue to live at this same residence, she presumably would be limited in her movements. Sources now confirm that Gates was ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from Edward Schaedel, her grandfather, and her great-grandmother, Carolyn Schaeder. She has also been prohibited from having any communication with them while the case plays out. Gates was also arrested a few weeks prior to the violent incident at her home for a traffic violation after she ran a stop sign.

In times past, Marcille, who is currently married, has spoken on McCall’s violent behavior. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, McCall is charged with domestic violence listed as ‘Inflict Corporal Injury to Spouse or Cohabitant’. McCall is facing up to one year in jail. A hearing was scheduled for August but it appears McCall did not appear. The court records reveal a bench warrant was held and the hearing was rescheduled for next month. Back in April, McCall was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. He was taken into custody and booked on one felony count of injuring a spouse or cohabitant. The records show the alleged incident went down on January 14, 2019. The name of the alleged victim has not been released. He was released from jail after posting $75,000 bond. Marcille and McCall split in 2015.
