Zendaya Coleman is out. Alexandra Shipp is in. A few weeks after Zendaya dropped out of the upcoming Lifetime biopic based on the life and tragic death of singer Aaliyah, producer Wendy Williams has Tweeted that Ship will take her place. “I’m excited to exec produce the Aaliyah @lifetimetv movie w/ @DebraMChase. Prod starts later this month and @AlexShipppp will play Aaliyah,” Williams wrote online this morning. Zendaya came under fire as soon as she was announced Aaliyah, mostly due to her her light skin tone. The actress tried to remain above the fray, Tweeting that all she wants to do is “honor” the late artist. But the critics would not shut up. Aaliyah: Princess of R&B, will be based on the biography, Aaliyah: More Than a Woman and tell the story of a star who was killed at the age of 22 in a plane crash. Shipp, meanwhile, is best known for her role on Nickelodeon’s House of Anubis.

Amazingly, he made his dubious escape, telling LuAnn they should “get out of here,” just after Sonja went to show Ramona Singer that very ring. Either a huge piece of footage was edited out or The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 19 will go down as one of the oddest ever. Guy seems like kinda bad news either way of course. After countless shake-ups and casting rumors, Radar Online reports today that Lisa Rinna has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Rumors of Rinna becoming a Housewife date back to April of this year and producers reportedly reached the decision to make Rinna an offer after giving the actress-turned-reality-star a trial run in front of the cameras at Kyle Richards’ White Party in June. The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof will be returning to the show. This being RHOBH, of course, some of the existing cast members already have beef with Lisa: “Lisa is getting along with many of the ladies, with the exception of Brandi [Glanville] and Yolanda Foster,” a source tells Radar. “Brandi’s problem with Lisa is that she is happily married and has two beautiful daughters. According to Brandi, Lisa has the perfect life, and she is very jealous of that.” Rinna, of course, is best known for her roles on soaps such as Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place. While this will be her first run on Bravo, Lisa is no stranger to reality TV. She competed on a season of Celebrity Apprentice and was even the star of a short-lived TV Land series entitled Harry Loves Lisa, that focused on her marriage to Mad Men star Harry Hamlin.
