Lisa Vanderpump lost a sexual harassment suit to a former employee recently, and unless she appeals successfully, she’ll be forced to fork over $100,000. That may seem like chump change for a woman who stars in two reality series and owns a pair of successful high-end restaurants, but court documents reveal that Lisa and her husband Ken Vanderpump might actually be facing bankruptcy if the court doesn’t overturn its decision. Despite the fact that the Vanderpumps’ two restaurants – Sur and Villa Blanco – are both tremendously popular LA hot spots (Sur enjoys hours of free advertising each year as the setting for Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules ), the couple has now invested more cash in the businesses than they’re currently worth. So with two money pit businesses and a six-figure judgment against them, the Vanderpumps may soon find themselves selling off their assets in an effort to hold on to the good life and keep up appearances. Despite rumors that Vanderpump would be quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , she recently signed on for a fifth season. Lisa receives a reported $350,000 a season for the hit reality series, but her and Todd’s expenses are through the roof. Bethenny Frankel’s talk show was canceled back in February, and the former Real Housewife claimed she was happy it was over, as she felt “diluted” and “constricted” by the daytime chat format. Well, apparently she felt even more diluted and constricted by not getting a paycheck, because new reports indicate that Bethenny is in “serious talks” to join the long-running panel discussion show “The View.” “The View is looking for someone to spice up the show,” a source tells VH1. “Someone with lots of opinions and a big personality and Bethenny is at the top of the list.” As an opinionated, highly vocal co-host with a reality TV background, Frankel would make an ideal replacement for former Survivor contestant Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck left The View last year for a gig at Fox News. Of course, Bethenny may want to wait until things settle down a bit in her personal life before she makes any major professional commitments. Recently, Frankel settled her custody battle with Jason Hoppy after a long, bitter dispute that damaged the reputations of both parties. While Frankel has yet to make any official announcement, a source says that she’s, “very interested in getting back to TV,” adding: “It is the only job she knows. Watch Kandi’s Wedding Season 1 Episode 1 Online More than 2.4 million viewers tuned in to see Kandi’s Wedding to Todd Tucker and all the comments Mama Joyce made about him and his family.
