The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Recap: Growth is Hard to Find

Growth is a beautiful thing. Of course it can also be hard to find. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion, Part 1, offered up a lot of talk about growth but what we saw was merely a an hour’s worth of screeching, eye rolling, and one upmanship Atlanta style so we’ll break it down in THG’s +/- review … Andy starts off asking why the ladies love to talk about there designer labels. It’s true, these women are always going on and on about who they’re wearing and what they’re buying. They may think it makes them appear wealthy, but they only look like a bunch of insecure wannabes. Minus 12 . Somehow all roads led back to NeNe tonight. If she wasn’t defending herself or yelling at someone she was rolling her eyes while the others were talking. And she was wearing the most ridiculous looking heels of the group. Minus 5 . How the heck does she walk in those things. First we’ll start off with Kandi whose sex toy line, Bedroom Kandi is making her a mint of money. Plus 8. You go girl! Phaedra says she’s helping make sure the products work well but NeNe simply looks uncomfortable. Kandi calls her out on it. Didn’t NeNe used to be a stripper. Maybe so but sex toys are not her thing.

I’m sorry, but I haven’t got the slightest idea who this Evelyn Lozada chick is. I know I say that a lot, but seriously? Anyone? I’m guessing she’s one of those Real Housewives Of I Don’t Give A Crap or she’s married to a football player. Either way, I’ve never ever heard of her. Luckily, she has some nice big qualities that I enjoy in my nobodies and she’s not afraid to show them off on the beach in a little lingerie-like bikini. Nicely done… Whoever you are.

Teresa Giudice Previews Hurt, Shock to Come on The Real Housewives of New Jersey

The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on April 22, and it will be filled with calm, rational discussions around the dinner table, each week ending in a group hug and a reminder of just why these women are such close friends. JUST KIDDING! Upcoming episodes will be chock full of drama, fighting and “a lot of hurtful and shocking moments,” says Teresa Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Preview Always at the center of the action, Giudice tells People she’s “still saddened by what transpired,” a lot of which had to do with sister-in-law Melissa Gorga . “Melissa and I are family and we have our ups and downs just like any family. That is life,” says Giudice , who Gorga believes tried to expose her past as a stripper last year, a past Gorga denies. Teresa adds that her feuds with Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo will reach a boiling point on season four, as those two “change when the cameras are rolling.” How does Giudice explain her own behavior on the show? I live by a strong set of morals and family values and if I am being attacked I will stick up for myself,” she says. “I am a strong woman and it is important for me to defend my character if it is being assassinated. It was a very difficult to go through and especially hurtful when family is involved.”

And… there it is. As expected, the Catholic League has issued a statement regarding Nicki Minaj’s controversial performance of “Roman Holiday” at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, which featured choir boys, bishops, holy water, faux possessions, levitation and a confessional. Nicki Minaj – “Roman Holiday” (2012 Grammy Performance) “Nicki Minaj, fresh off looking like a fool with Madonna at the Super Bowl , showed up last night on the red carpet at the Grammys with a guy dressed like the pope. This was just a prelude of what was to come,” wrote Catholic League President Bill Donahue, adding: “Perhaps the most vulgar part was the sexual statement that showed a scantily clad female dancer stretching backwards while an altar boy knelt between her legs in prayer. Finally, ‘Come All Ye Faithful’ was sung while a man posing as a bishop walked on stage; Minaj was shown levitating.” Donahue concluded by calling out the Grammys themselves, writing: “Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of The Recording Academy. Never would they allow an artist to insult Judaism or Islam.” What is Nicki’s defense of her act? She told Ryan Seacrest it was all about an alter ego named Roman. Naturally. “I had this vision for Roman, for him to be exorcised, but people around him telling him he’s not good enough, that he’s not normal, he’s not fitting in with the average Joe,” Nicki explained. “He wanted to show that not only is he amazing and confident, but he’s never going to be exorcised and when they throw the holy water on him, he rises above it.” Well… okay then. WHAT DID YOU THINK OF MINAJ’S PERFORMANCE AT THE GRAMMYS?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Recap, Part III: Dana, Kim and the House Husbands

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion show finally concluded Monday night with visits from Dana Wilkey, Kim Richards and the house husbands. If you missed the previous two reunion shows (yes, it’s a three-part affair) and all the drama therein, follow these links for recaps of Part I and Part II . Then, join us as we recap the nude photos, conspiracy theories, and alcohol abuse right here in THG’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills +/- review … What does Taylor say would give her great solace? The possibility that her husband was murdered. What?!? Minus 20 . Okay, she doesn’t come out and actually say the words but that’s what she’s implying. Then she regales us with tales of Russell. Every week her stories become more horrific. This time she tells of Russell secretly recording her and forcing her to take a polygraph test to prove she wasn’t cheating on him. Then there’s a story about Russell assaulting both Taylor and her friends and trying to drown Taylor in the pool but she somehow convinced her friends not to press charges. Some friends. Minus 15 . Brandi voices that these stories don’t make sense to her and Camille agrees that the stories are simply horrifying. So is Taylor telling the whole truth and she was just too terrified to leave or are we missing Russell’s side of the story. I suppose we’ll never really know. Moving on from the appalling to the laughable, Dana makes an appearance. Minus 10 . Dana’s always annoyed me and what’s up with the whole Dana / Pam thing? Which is it? Classy as ever, Dana wears heels that say “F**k You” and give the finger with a diamond on it. She thinks they’re hot. Minus 12 . Money can’t buy good taste. Thankfully Dana gives us some insights into her obsession with money. She grew up poor until her mom died when she was 15 and was shipped off to her dad and abruptly thrown into one of the richest schools in the country. Suddenly Dana’s behavior starts to make some sense. Plus 9 . Of course her wannabe behavior is simply unattractive no matter what the reason. On to the hunkiest house husbands in all of Beverly Hills, at least according to Andy. Ken, Mauricio, and Paul all take a seat on the couch.

The Real Housewives of Miami: Renewed for Season 2

It’s unclear if anyone actually watched season one, but The Real Housewives of Miami will be back, Bravo confirmed yesterday. The lowest rated edition of this franchise has earned a second season pick-up, although only three original cast members – Marysol Patton, Lea Black and Adriana De Moura – will return when production begins next month. New additions are expected to be announced any week now. ” The Real Housewives of Miami follows a group of the most beautiful, connected and influential women in town who work hard and play harder,” reads a Bravo press release. “This season will give viewers an inside look at these aspirational women as they juggle family, work and the fabulous social scene in a city where the food is spicy, and the drama is even spicier.” Not really, of course. With no arrests, trips to rehab or suicides by any estranged husbands , life in Miami – for viewers at least – has been decidedly mild so far.

Taylor Armstrong "In a Better Place" With Camille Grammer

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong says she’s “in a better place” with Camille Grammer nowadays. That’s good news, we suppose. Better than a worse place? Taylor and Camille had an epic falling out after pot-stirrer Grammer revealed on-air that Taylor’s husband, Russell Armstrong (who committed suicide in August, after filming on Bravo’s hit series wrapped for the season), was physically abusive . Russell then threatened Grammer, infuriating and dividing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Kyle Richards, Lisa VanderPump and Adrienne Maloof. Though the fight happened months ago, the rift is still a long way from being mended. Knowing these two it will drag on for decades. But things have thawed slightly. Armstrong, who is releasing a memoir , took a long pause when asked if she and Camille are friends these days. “Um, we are in a better place now,” she said. Not saying much, but a step in the right direction never hurt. One of those great celebrity feuds where you can’t bring yourself to take a side .

Joe Giudice Indicted on Fraud Charges, Remains a Moron

Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Joe Giudice is in major trouble with the law. The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Teresa Giudice was indicted today on one charge of wrongfully using identifying information of another and one charge of impersonation. The crimes allegedly took place when Joe used his brother’s marriage license and birth certificate to obtain a driver’s license in June 2010. Combined, these counts could land Joe in jail for over 10 years. Teresa’s 40-year old squeeze has also been arrested for DUI and accused of hiding assets from the court after filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2009. At one time, his cumulative debt totaled $11 million.
